“Here’s another cute little dress for our arriving princess” I announced while holding up the pink fluffy dress for Hyuna to see
“Awwwwn it’s so pretty, I know she’s going to look stunning in all these things we bought for her” she purred while running her hands over her protruded tummy
“I still can’t believe you were right about it being a girl. How did you know?” she asked and I chuckled
“It was a lucky guess and I also wanted a girl so bad so I wished it would be a girl and IT IS!” I replied and she giggled
“So what did you think about her room? The final touches to it were added today” I uttered
“Yes it looks so beautiful and I know she’s going to love it!” she squealed and we laughed
“I just can’t wait to meet her, I find myself staying awake at night wondering what she’ll look like, what color her hair and her eyes would be, if she’s going to look more like me or you…” she mouthed wistfully and I smiled before placing my palm on her tummy
I glanced down at my fingers and smiled at the wedding bands. The memories of our wedding day flashed throu-ghmy mind and my smile wide-ned. We got married two months after the awful incident at the church with Mia, it was one of the grandest events in Seoul according to the media
It was not only the beginning of a new chapter in our lives but it was also a new beginning in Hyuna and her family’s life. I was able to convince them to accept the house I bought for them here in Seoul, Jin-woo finally decided to follow his dream of going to college to study Biochemistry and Hyuna’s mother AKA my mother-in-law was able to open a boutique from the loan I gave to her which I made sure that she was never going pay back of course ?
“So how’s everything over at JP?” Hyuna asked, p-ulling me back to the present and I exhaled
“Well a new CEO has been installed. Taeyang, Beomgyu and Jimin have returned to THE VORTEX and BLACK VELVET is having their first private concert here in Seoul next week” I replied while leaning back on the couch
“Who is the new CEO? Cause I heard Suho withdrew from the position even before he left for Japan”
“Yeah he did. The new CEO is a former Chinese top investor” I uttered and she mouthed an “Oh”
“I’m craving ice cream” she suddenly blurted and I cracked with laughter
“What? What’s so funny? Please get me some from the fridge while I relax and wait for you” she remarked while leaning back slowly on the couch before placing her legs on the small table in front of her
“Woww, I can’t wait till our baby arrives so you won’t have an excuse to boss me around anymore” I mouthed while getting on my feet
“Vanilla flavor please and even if she arrives today; I’ll still boss you around” she taunted pla-yfully and stuck her tongue out at me before bursting into an endless round of giggling
I shook my head at her as I walked to the kitchen and grabbed the large ice cream container from the fridge, there were different flavors there but I took four scoops out of the vanilla section and put it into a bowl before walking back to the living room with the bowl and a spoon
“Here you go” I announced, holding it out to her, she took it from me and had two spoonfuls before pouting grudgingly
“What? What’s wrong?” I asked worriedly while peering at her face
“I don’t want ice cream anymore, I think I’d prefer fresh yoghurt” she replied while pushing the bowl away from her and I blinked
“Are you kidding me? We don’t have any yoghurt, you drank it all last week” I uttered
“Then go buy more!” she wailed and I slapped my forehead before getting on my feet again and grabbing the car keys from a table. I was about to walk out when her voice stopped me
“And get more fruit because I think we’re almost out!” she yelled
“Yeah, yeah”
I took another step again but she suddenly screamed and I darted back to her. By the time I got to her, she was shedding tears
“Honey, what’s wrong?” I inquired
“I can’t find the remote to the television in our bedroom, I’ve been looking for it since last week!” she sobbed and my jaw dropped with disbelief
“Wait, is that the reason you’re crying?”
“Yes, I never got to watch the season finale of my favorite reality show!” she wailed
“Did you check un-der the bed?” I asked calmly and she stopped crying immediately
“Can you check for me? You know I can’t bend over” she requested and I shook my head again
This is what I’ve had to deal with since the second month of her pregnancy. Pregnant Hyuna is such a handful ?

?Hyuna’s POV?

I was lounging on the couch in the living room with a bowl of popcorn on my thi-ghs and my eyes glued to the TV. Baekhyun had gone to Taeyang’s house so I was home alone and enjoying some peaceful quality time with my unborn baby.
The sound of my phone ringing made me take my eyes from the television. I got on my feet carefully, the doctor had told us that I would be going into labour any time soon so we were had been practising what we would do when it happens
I walked to the kitchen where I had left my phone and grabbed it from the counter
?”Hello?”
? “Good afternoon Mrs Lee Hyuna!” a familiar male voice mouthed from the other end and my eyes wide-ned
?”Suho?!” I gasped and he chuckled
? “I’m glad you’re able to recognize my voice”
?”Of course I will, how’ve you been? I haven’t heard from you for over nine months!”
? “I’m good, really good. I’ve never been better actually” he replied and I smiled
?”I’m so happy to hear that, how is Japan?”
? “Japan is fine although I’m in Thailand for an automobile convention but I’ll be heading back home tomorrow. I just called to find out how your preparations for motherhood are going” he uttered and I giggled
?”Well Baekhyun and I are doing our best although I’m a little nervous because my due date is in two weeks time”
? “There’s no nee-d to be nervous, just make sure you take Baekhyun into the labour room with you so you can squee-zehis hand while you push” he mouthed and I laughed
?”Okay I will” I uttered still chuckling
? “Alright then, I gotta go now. I have a date with royalty. We’ll talk better some other time and please let me know when the baby is born so I can send a gift”
?”Sure I will, thanks for calling, take care. Bye” I muttered with a smile before hanging up
I turned around to walk back to the living room when I felt something snap inside me before warm liquid started dripping down my legs.
I gasped when I saw that the liquid was colorless, like water
Oh God, my water just broke! ?
The baby is coming!
“Oh boy, oh boy. This is happening, this is really happening” I breathed as I started feeling my wo-mb contracting. I leaned on the kitchen wall and grabbed my phone before dialing Baekhyun’s number while taking de-ep breaths and ru-b-bing my tummy
I can’t believe I’m going into labour, I thought the doctor said I wasn’t due until two weeks
? “Honey, what’s up?” Baekhyun asked immediately he picked
?”Umm my water just broke, our daughter is coming” I gasped out
? “Oh shit! I’m on my way. Where are you?!”
?”I’m leaning on the kitchen wall”
? ” Why are you standing? Sit down immediately!” he rasped while I started hyper ventilating
?”O…..Okay, just get here quickly!”
? “Sure, I’m driving home right now. Stay calm honey, take de-ep breaths. de-ep, de-ep breaths, I’ll be there soon” he uttered and the line went dead
I closed my eyes and continued my de-ep breaths
“Aaaargh!” I screamed when a painful contraction racked throu-ghme
? 45 MINUTES LATER ?
Before I knew what was happening; I was being wheeled into the labour room in the hospital and laid on a bed. The doctor arrived immediately and got to work
“Push, you’re almost there! Just one more push!” the nurses kept screaming at me
“C’mon honey, you can do this. Just one more push” Baekhyun soothed with his palm placed on my sweaty forehead
Gosh, I never knew childbirth was this painful!
So this is what women p@$$throu-ghbefore bringing children into this world?
I gathered up all the strength I could find and raised my upper body before pushing ha-rd
“Urrghh!” I gr-unted with the effort before flopping down back weakly
The cry of a baby filled the labour room and everyone made sounds of happiness
“She’s here! Your baby is here!” someone announced happily while I fought for air
“Honey she’s here! Our daughter is finally here!” Baekhyun rasped excitedly and I laughed tearfully while my baby kept crying
They cleaned her up and brou-ght her over to me. The moment I held her in my arms and gazed at her face; all the pain I had felt instantly vanished and I was smiling and shedding tears of joy
“She’s so beautiful, honey” Baekhyun whispered without taking his eyes off the little one
“Yes, yes she is” I cried happily
I just couldn’t believe I was finally holding my daughter in my arms
“What’re you going to name her?” the female doctor asked, beaming at us. Baekhyun and I shared a glance before replying her at the same time;
“BaekHyuna”

“She’s such an angel, I could watch her sleep all day” Baekhyun whispered as he cudd-led BaekHyuna who was fast asleep, all wrapped up warmly in her soft blankie
“She looks a lot like you, she has your pointed nose and your small mouth” I whispered back and he chuckled
“And these are all clear signs that she will grow up to be one of the most beautiful women of her time” he mouthed and I nodded in agreement
“Here, let me take her. You’ve been holding her all morning, you must be tired” I offered and reached out for her but he moved away from me
“Why are you trying to take my princess away? She’s just fine with her dad” he pouted while rocking her gently and I raised my hands up in pla-yful surrender
The doorbell rang and he exhaled
“Fine, you can hold her while I go get the door” he groused before carefully placing her in my arms
“Daddy will be right back, princess” he purred and kizzed her tiny clenched fists before getting on his feet and walking to the door
“Hey, everybody is here!” I heard him announce before looking up from BaekHyuna. My eyes beamed when Welchi, Jin-woo, Dahyun, my mother, grandma and my in-laws trooped into the living room with expectant eyes
“Oh, there she is!” my mum gasped out and rushed forward before taking BaekHyuna from me, the rest gathered around her and they couldn’t seem to stop Awwww-ing and Oooooo-ing
“Awwwwn, she’s so precious!” Welchi purred
“I just wanna su-ck on those chubby cheeks” Dahyun added
“Woww, who would have thought Hyuna was capable of giving birth to such a beautiful baby” Jin-woo chided
“My grandchild is the most adorable baby in the whole world!” Baekhyun’s dad boasted and we all laughed good-naturedly
I slowly got on my feet and walked over to Baekhyun before wrapping my arms around his ne-ck and he wrapped his around my wa-ist
“I am the luckiest man to have a gorgeous queen like you and a beautiful princess like BaekHyuna” he whispered to me with our faces just inches apa-rt
“I’m also lucky to have you, I feel so blessed. I love you, Mr Lee Baekhyun. I will always love you”
“And I will always love YOU, Mrs Lee Hyuna” he breathed and I smiled with happy tears in my eyes before p-ulling his li-ps down on mine
