^^ Hanks Family Home ^^
“I just asked you both what Is going on?” Nicole demanded which got Connor and Tessa getting off the bed.
“It’s a good thing you are here Nicole, you will be the first person to know about our relationship” Connor said taking hold of Tessa’s hand.
“Relationship?” Nicole asked starring at their linked hands.
“Tessa and I are a couple and…”
“Couple?” Nicole scoff out starring at the both of them in anger.
“You must be proud right? You have everything and you even got Tessa…you must be f**king thrilled?” With that said, Nicole wheeled himself out of the room.
“He looks angry, Connor. I better go to him” Tessa offered but Connor stopped her.
“Let me, I still need to know what he meant by what he said” Connor added and giving her a swift but lingering kiss, he went after Nicole.
When he got to Nicole’s room, he found him at his balcony, starring outside.
“What’s going on? Why were you angry about me and Tessa being together?” Connor asked.
“Angry? Am boiling with rage right now! How can you do this to me!” Nicole yelled at him.
“All my life, have always tried to be like you but I couldn’t since you are just too perfect! Even when I found something I could be good at, I ended up like this and I thought myself to be a loser until I met Tessa. She gave me hope again and brought me out of my shell”
“I brought her here in the hope that I can get her to be mine but you had to snatch her away!” Nicole yelled glaring at him.
“Are you in love with Tessa?”
“I am! Have been in love with her for months now and that’s the reason why I brought her here but you only had to seduce her to make her yours! I hate you for it” Nicole replied.
“Nicole you…”
“End your relationship with her ”
“What?”
“You heard me, Connor. If you really love me like you claim, set Tessa free” Nicole stated.
“How can you ask me to do that?” Connor asked.
“It’s either that or you lose me for good. So what’s it going to be? Me or Tessa?”

^^ Diamond High ~ Counsellor Office ^^
Picking up her books, Cynthia walked out of her office set for her next class when she saw Chris.
Immediately, she ran back inside and quickly hid under her desk.
She didn’t know why she is hiding but she felt that it’s the right thing to do since Chris wouldn’t leave her alone.
She heard him walk into the office and when he left, she crawled out from her hiding place.
“Do you know that you look more sexy when kneeling on the floor?” On hearing Chris voice, she sat on the floor in shock, letting out a gasp.
“I thought you left” she let out softly and he walk towards her, wrapping his arms around her waist to lift her on her feet.
This got her standing close to him and quickly, she move out of his arms.
“Why are you here?” She asked.
“To see you” he replied looking very cute in his uniform.
“I already made my answer clear to you the other day and so….”
“And I made mine clear to you…I don’t intend to give up on you” he stated.
“You will have to! There can’t be anything between us… Get that into your head and leave me alone” she yelled at him.
Picking up her books, she turned to leave only to be engulf in his arms.
Cynthia stood still while Chris held her from behind, soaking in her loveliness.
“I understand that you don’t feel the same way I do but don’t ask me to leave you alone. I love you and I want to prove it to you” he whispered into her ear.
Cynthia could hear the sadness in his voice and somehow it made her feel hurt.
She pulled out of his arms and turn to him.
“You are a great kid Chris and am sure that you will certainly find the right girl for you. Am not that girl and I don’t think I ever will, I need to go to class. You should too” she said and hurriedly walk out of the room before he could stop her.

“We need to talk, Nicole” Tessa said as she join him in the family lounge.
“I have nothing to say to you” he replied trying to wheel himself away but she stopped him.
“We do have some things to talk about! Why were you angry earlier? Me being with Connor isn’t something you should be angry about and…”
“Tch! You think you being with my brother isn’t enough reason for my anger? How can you be so selfish?” Nicole asked.
“This isn’t about me being selfish… There’s something you aren’t telling me, right? Something that makes you hate me being with Connor” Tessa said.
“You are right! I hate you being with my brother and that’s because I love you. Have been in love with you for months” he let out making Tessa speechless.
“Tell me you feel the same and what I saw this morning is just a figment of my imagination” Nicole cajoled as he held onto her hand.
“Am sorry Nicole. Am in love with Connor” Tessa replied hating the fact that she had to hurt him.
“Then you leave me with no choice… You are fired!”
“Fired? But Nicole you…”
“Since you’ve chosen Connor over me. There’s no need keeping you by my side and for the record, I gave Connor an ultimatum too and he chose me over your love” Nicole fired at her.
“That’s not true…you are only saying that to hurt me right?”
“Am not…try calling him, I bet he wouldn’t pick your call since he gave up on you. To him, you are nothing. Get out of this house before I return, I mean it Tessa” Nicole said before wheeling himself off, leaving Tessa in a dilemma.
None of them notice Blair who has been eavesdropping on their conversation.
As soon as Nicole left, Blair hurriedly went to her room. Picking up her phone, she dialed Clarissa number.
“Guess what? Luck is on our side. I think we don’t have to do much in separating Tessa and Connor since someone else is doing that. All you and Seven got to do now is too turn this opportunity to good use” Blair said as she let out a mischievous smile.

^^ Cynthia And Tessa’s Apartment ^^
Humming happily to herself, Melody unlock the door and went into the house feeling very happy.
She took out a bottle of water from the fridge and was about to drink it when she saw Tessa.
“Oh my God! You scared me” she let out in out in fright.
When Tessa didn’t respond, she went towards her noticing the sad and tired look on her face.
“What’s wrong?” Melody asked.
“I got fired” Tessa replied slowly.
“What! But why would Nicole fire you?”
“Something happened” Tessa replied.
“Tell me, am here for you” Melody offered and Tessa told her everything that happen.
“Nicole is a jerk! ” Melody said a while later.
“He’s just hurt” Tessa replied, d
efending him.
“You don’t have to defend a jerk like him and besides, working for him is not the only job you have. You can go back to the hospital and….” Melody stopped talking when Tessa began to cry.
“Am not worried about Nicole. Am worried about Connor, he hasn’t been picking my calls and he’s been ignoring my messages ”
“He once told me that if it turns out that Nicole is in love with me, he will let me go and now….” She stop talking as her sobs grew harder.
A while later, Melody left the sleeping Tessa in her room.
She had wanted to share the news of her getting a job with Tessa but it will be best if she doesn’t say a thing.

^^ Next Day ^^
Tessa pick up her phone and called Connor again but the answering machine was all she got.
She set down her phone and will herself not to cry.
When Nicole told her about Connor choosing to let go of her for him, she had doubted him and chose to believe Connor but now… She’s finding it hard to keep trusting Connor.
“Are you okay? I heard about it from Melody” Cynthia asked as she came into the room.
“Am okay” Tessa replied but Cynthia could tell that she’s lying.
Sitting on her bed, Cynthia pulled her into a tight hug.
“Everything is going to be fine ” Cynthia said and Tessa tears began to slip out slowly.
“I wish I can believe that but I know that it won’t. Nicole’s love for me has ruined my relationship with Connor” Tessa choke out.
“It will, I believe that Connor truly loves you and he will surely come to you soon” Cynthia said trying to cajole her and they both failed to notice Melody watching them at the door way.
Clenching her fist in anger, She storm out of the house.

“You are doing great, Nicole” The therapist said as he help Nicole back on his wheel chair.
“Though you were a little distracted today and besides, I don’t see Tessa” The therapist said.
“Tessa has been fired and you should only focus on me your patient and no one else” Nicole snap at him and was about to wheel himself off when he saw Melody.
“You again” he let out and after seeing her attire, he let out a sigh.
“Don’t tell me that you decided to work here because of me?” Nicole asked.
“That’s true. I decided to work here just be close to you and mainly because I thought you to be the perfect guy but I can see that you are nothing but a jerk” Melody yelled at him.
“What did you just say?”
“You heard me, Jerk!” She said not caring if she made him angry.
“Now look here….”
“No, You look here! Just because Tessa doesn’t feel the same way as you doesn’t give you the right to hurt her. She’s been crying ever since she came home yesterday and that’s all due to the things you said to her”
“Not only did you fire her, you are also trying to destroy her relationship with Connor since you hate the fact that she loves him and not you!” Melody pointed out while he look away from her in guilt.
“And just who the hell do you think you are to meddle in our problem!” He yelled at her.
“Am Tessa’s sister, you jack @ss” She returned fiercely.
“Tessa’s sister?” He called obviously surprised.
“I am Tessa sister and seeing her last night and this morning made me realise that she do love you but as a friend. She kept crying yesterday for hurting you and she cried more due to what you told her about Connor which am very sure is a lie” Melody said and once again he couldn’t hide the guilty look on his face.
“You don’t force love Nicole. If the person you love is interested in someone else, you should be willing to let her go and should be happy for her” Melody added.
“But I love her too much to do that ” Nicole said, looking very hurt.
She walk towards him and took hold of his hand.
“Tessa happiness lies with Connor and am sure that someday some one that will fill the void in your heart will surely come to you” Melody said while he stared at her.

^^ Cynthia And Tessa’s Apartment ^^
After a long day at the hospital, Tessa arrived back to her apartment only to see Seven there.
Choosing to ignore him, she kept walking on but he caught up with her.
“We’ve got to talk”
“I have nothing to say to you” she said as she got to the door.
“Why won’t you give me a chance again? I came back just for you” Seven said.
“Then you might as well leave since I don’t want to have anything to do with you” Tessa yelled at him and when she open the door to go in, he followed.
“Get out of my house, Seven”
“Not until you realise that we are meant for each other, you are my Tessa” Seven replied.
“Am not your Tessa and I already told you that I no longer love you. I love someone else, so do me a favour and get out of my life” Tessa said only to be pulled into his arms forcefully.
“Let me go, Seven!” She yelled trying to break free.
“I love you Tessa, you belong to me ” He stated and tried to force a kiss on her.
Her struggle to get away from him got them both falling on the floor with him on top of her.
“Get away from her you pig!” Connor’s voice drifted into her ears and the next thing she knew.
Seven was kicked off of her. He stood up to fight back but after a punch on the face that got him falling flat on the floor, he ran out of the Apartment.
“Are you okay?” Connor asked as he knelt in front of a crying Tessa.
“What took you so long?” She said hitting his chest while he pulled her into his arms.
A while later, they both sat on the sofa in silence.
“Why didn’t you pick my calls, didn’t you see it?” Tessa ask breaking the silence.
“I did” he began, having a sad expression on his face. ” Tessa, I….”
“Don’t!” She said as she stood up.”If you are going to tell me that you are going to let me go just to please Nicole then you shouldn’t cause I…” She stop short when she felt something sliding into her finger.
Lifting her hand up , she stared at the ring he had put into her finger.
“The reason why I didn’t pick your calls is that I was preparing this. It’s an engagement ring and if you say yes right now, I will be adding our wedding ring to it” he said.
“Does it mean what I think it is?” Tessa asked.
“I lied,Tessa. I can’t give you up to please Nicole, I love you ykt much than to let you go”
“So, will you marry me?”
