Li’s mansion
Ryan took his phone and decided to order pizza since he hadn’t eaten anything yet. His parents were no longer at home so it was just him and the maids
“You’ll find what you truly desire one day.. he recalled what the middle aged woman said to him the other day and a sigh escaped his li-ps

“Grandma.. violet called immediately she noticed her presence.
“Is something the matter?” Granny Pamela asked.
“I will be going to school soon. She screamed while a frown creased Granny Pamela’s forehead
“What I’m saying is, the scholarship exam will be held next week.. she said
“Really?” Granny Pamela asked and she nodded excitingly before hugging her grandma.
“I will soon be a college girl Grandma” She said happily. “Gosh, my long time wish will be granted.. she said again
“Are you sure the exam is next week?” Granny Pamela asked and she only replied with a nod while smiling broadly.
“Do you have any savings you could use for your Transport fare and feeding when you start school?” Granny Pamela throw the question at her and she itch her hair
“That.. that’s true, I’ve been giving you all the money and my mind never for once thought about that” she said
“Oh! I saw a flyer earlier and it’s says they needed a sales girl. I can just work for two hours then go to the restaurant by 5pm. Yes that’s gonna work out” she rushed her words
“Violet you don’t…..
“Bye grandma… I need money for my school.. Love you” She cut her granny off and immediately left the house in a hurry. She continued running down the road until she came by a snack shop
She entered the shop and went straight to one of the employees.
“I need a job” She said and a lady who seems to be in her 30’s looked at her.
“And why should I give you the job?” She asked staring at violet who was breathing real fast due to the race she ran
“Please I really need this job. I want to go to college but I have no savings.. she said and the lady stared at her again
“How many hours are you planning to work here? She asked
“Two hours will do, so I can have time to read my books too” She explained and the woman smiled while Violet kept blinking her eyes rapidly , waiting to know if she got the job or not
“I’m a fast Lea…. she didn’t complete her statement when the lady cut in
“You can start tomorrow then”. She said and violet didn’t say anything
“Don’t you need the job?” The lady raised her brow
“Can I start right now please?” She asked
“You can” The lady nodded, staring at her strangely
She immediately engulfed the lady into a bone crushing hug taking her by surprise
“I’m so sorry, I’m just too happy, so many good things are happening to me just in a day.. she smiled and the lady nodded
“Can you ride a motorcycle?” She asked while Violet stared at her
“We were actually looking for a delivery guy or anyone that wanted the job of a delivery man”
“Yeah, I can drive”. She said quickly
“If that’s the case, then I will be needing you to go to this address.. the lady said giving her a card. The address of the house was written on it
“Follow me” The lady added
“Alright ma’am.. she smiled and followed the woman to get her sale clothes. She was done minutes later. She packed the box on the bike and mounted the bike
“I’ll be back.. she told the woman as she zoom off to the address

She stood Infront of the big mansion and her mouth dropped open as she marveled at the beauty of the house
“OMG, is this a house? And I thought Jeff’s house was the biggest house ever!” She smiled at the beauty of the house before ringing the door bell.
It rang but no one came to get it. She sigh and continued ringing it nonstop
Ryan gro-an frustratingly as the door bell rang. It felt like it was ringing directly in his head
He used his pillow to cover his ears but it wasn’t working. He double the pillow but he could see hear the sound vividly
“Sh*t” He gro-aned and stood up
“Why is no one getting the door? He wondered frustratedly
He walked out of his room to the sitting room. He opened the door revealing a delivery girl
“Young master.. Brown ran to him. “You could have just called me instead of coming down here yourself” Brown said and faced turned to the delivery girl
“You? Violet pointed a finger at him. “That rude annoying guy” she added
“What are you doing here?” Brown questioned her
Ryan was starting to get irritated by the numerous questions
“No wonder you’re rude meanwhile you’re living here free of charge and even with that, they still pay you.. she scoffed, eyeing Brown
“Can I sign now? for a successful delivery?.. Ryan cut in
” Oh, yeah” She nodded, stretching the notepad to him
She stared at Ryan again and that’s when she realized he was with brown the other day but he didn’t seem to recognize her
“Wow….He even looks so cool in white shirts… she thought staring at him
He gave her back the note after signing on it.
“Thanks for your patronage” she said and he made to walk back into the house but she stopped him
” Wait.. she said and his steps faltered but he didn’t face her.
“There’s something I need to give you.. she added and Brown faced her
“What’s that? Brown asked
“I wasn’t talking to you peaco-ck.. She rolled her eyes while he ( Ryan ) turned to her
“Your note.. she said, checking her pa-nt pocket yet she didn’t find anything.
“Ahh.. she exclaimed when she remembered she left it on her bed.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t bring it… Maybe next time.. She said and Ryan walked into the house immediately not wanting to hear anything further.
Violet exhaled, she gave the mansion one more glance before mounting the bike and driving off

She did four more deliveries before retiring for the day.
“I will be on my way now.. she told her boss
“Here, your pay.. her boss handed her an envelope which she collected.
“Bye ma’am, see you tomorrow.. she waved before leaving the shop

“Grandma, where’s violet?” Jeffrey asked immediately he got to grandma Pamela’s house.
“She said she was going to look for another job”
“Is she quiting her Job at the restaurant? ” He asked
“I don’t know about that son. Maybe when she’s back, you can asked her about it directly” Grandma Pamela said and he agreed.
He sat down waiting for violet since it was almost time for their per time at the restaurant.
The door burst opened minutes later and she walked in
“Violet.. Jeffrey called and walked to her.
“Why do you sound like you haven’t seen me for years?” She said sarcastically while rolling her eyes
“Granny said you went to look for another per time job? Why? Are you quiting the restaurant job?” He asked and she flic-ked his nose.
“Why would I quit working at the restaurant?” She asked rhetorically and Jeffery smiled broadly
“So where have you been?” He asked
“Working…. I will be a college student soon and I need savings for my up keep.. she said
“What about all the ones you’ve been saving all this months?” Jeffrey asked
“And that’s the problem. If I tell you the truth, you will be disappointed so don’t bother asking… I will just swallow the truth.. she said and swallowed emptiness while Jeffrey chuckled at her childishness
“Since you’ve swallowed it, I won’t asked.. he said and walked back to the couch
“Give me just few minutes and I will be done dressing.. she said and walk into her room to wear something else
” Bye grandma.. make sure you go to bed early” she said, leaving her room
“Alright dear, take care of yourself okay?” Granny Pamela said from the kitchen
“Alright grandma.. bye.. Jeffrey also said and they both walk out of the house walking down the street while laughing and talking until they got to the restaurant

Remy’s mansion
“So the scholarship program will commence next week?” Remy asked and Reece nodded
“That’s what I heard. He replied
“Is that it? everything that happened in school today?” Fargo chipped in
“I also heard lectures will be on hold untill the exams comes to an end. Reece replied
“Wait, we weren’t in school today so how did you even get all this information? “Justin asked
“I have my ways. Yi cheng always tell me how things goes on in school” Reece replied
” Yi cheng? Why would he? After all the beatings he received from you? Fargo asked
“Yeah, that’s the job I gave him since I won’t be bullying him anymore.. Reece replied and his friends laughed
“You’ve successfully found yourself an errand boy.. Justin said and they laughed again
“So what did this your Yi cheng say again?” Remy asked
“That the b!tch was humiliated by Ryan.. Reece replied and Remy immediately balled his fingers into a fist
He got angry immediately he heard Ryan’s name but he decided to hide the fact he was angry since he was the one who asked the question in the first place
“And who is this b!tch?” Remy raised a questioning brow at him
“Mara of course.. Reece replied
“Wait, which Mara?” Fargo asked
“Minister Zhang’s daughter? The girl who likes sticking to Ryan as if she was gum?”Justin asked
“Yeah.. Reece replied, pressing his phone
“Why and how is she a b!tch?” Remy asked, interested in the talk
“Didn’t I tell you guys?” Reece looked at them and they nodded

“Oh, I thought I did.. he said and his friends shook their head at once.
“All the same. It happened few weeks ago. “Three of you weren’t in school the day the incident took place..
“Okay? His Friends paid rapt attention to what he wanted to say
“I went down there.. Reece said while Remy stared at him strangely
“Down where?” Justin asked, confused while Reece shook his head at him
“Vir-gin boy.. Reece smacked his head playfully and he wince
“You mean you got into her pa-nts? You fu-cked her?” Remy asked and Reece nodded.
“You’re one bada-ss.. Justin said and he laughed.
“She wasn’t all that sweet though…She tasted sour, gross… Anyone who would fu-ck her is too lazy to masturbate ” Reece grimace and they Laughed
“How did you do that? Remy asked. ” I thought she had eyes only for Ryan?” He added
“Ryan hadn’t start schooling then. So I sweet talk her and got into her head. We kis-sed and before we knew it, I was buried de-eper inside her… Reece explained
“Then why aren’t you saying anything about it? ” Fargo asked
“I don’t use people’s predicament to mock them.. Reece said. “Since I already went down with her, that was it. Everything ends there. He added
“How does she even feel at ease seeing you everyday? Isn’t she scared you might spill the beans?” Justin asked
“That question isn’t for me man, you should have asked someone who cares instead. I have no business whatsoever with her anymore. I already got what I wanted from her and it wasn’t too pleasurable… waste of effort ” Reece shrugged and his friends laughed
“Bad guy” Remy hit his shoulders slightly
“When I thought I was the bad boy yet, I haven’t…
“Gone down with any girl… Reece completed and Justin and Fargo laughed
“Yah!!!. Remy screamed at him. He took the pillow on the sofa and began chasing him round the sitting room

“Violet hurry up.. her boss said and violet ran to him
“Give this to the couples on table twelve” He said giving violet the tray of food
She walked to the table and was about to place the dishes on the table but she stumbled on her second leg and the plate of food fell on the customer’s face
Jeffrey’s eyes widdened immediately he saw this . He quickly ran to her and helped her up
“What the hell is this? Where are your manners? Is this how you treat customer?” The customer yelled and before violet could say a word of apology, her ears were already making strange sounds.
The customer had actually slapped her
“Sir, this is wrong, you didn’t even give her a chance to apologize.. Jeffrey defended and stood Infront of Violet while the man scoff
They were already drawing other customers attention
“Where did Xian get this nuisances he calls employees?” The customer said and made to slap Jeffrey when Mr Xian their boss walked to them and held the customer’s hands
“I’m sorry sir, it wasn’t intentional. She has been working here for months now and this hasn’t happened before, can you please over look it this once?” Mr Xian said and violet stared at him in disbelief.
She couldn’t believe her boss was defending her…
The man stared at violet again then at Jeffrey.. he made to walk out of the restaurant but stopped when Violet apologized
” Duìbùqi xiānshēng ( I am sorry Sir )… she bowed, still holding her cheek. She couldn’t afford to loose the job because she needed money
“You should have said that earlier and you wouldn’t have received any slap from me. Now you’re making me feel guilty ” The customer said
“I will serve you another meal. Please sir, have your sit” Violet said and the man walked back to his seat obediently which surprised Mr Xian.
He has been firing employees that made the same mistake as violet since he’d always loose his customers Everytime that happened. But he was surprised the customer still sat after all the drama
“I will be right back.. violet said and entered the kitchen. It’s her first time cooking in the restaurant but she decided to take the risk.
She was done cooking and brou-ght the food to the man.
“Your food.. she said and her boss watched her in awe
” Violet ” Jeffrey called in a whisper, his heart skipp beats. He knew violet wasn’t very good at cooking.
” Nice aroma” her boss nodded his head
“If she’s good, I might just employ her as a chef since the work is too much for just me.. Mr Xian thought again
The customer picked up the chopsticks. He drew the plate closer to his mouth and ate from it and his eyes widdened
Violet’s heart skip beats at his action, Jeffrey and Mr Xian weren’t an exemption.
‘I’m really gonna lose my job for real this time’ She thought
