Leslie sat down on the chair before Pearl, staring at her as she smiled at her phone.
“Hey” she called and Pearl looked up, wiping the smile of her face.
“Why the smiley face?” Leslie asked and Pearl scoffed.
“So it’s now a sin for me to smile? Alright, I’ll frown” she said and frowned dramatically.
“Wow, you’re so unbelievable. I never said you should frown, I only noticed how much you’ve been smiling these days and decided to ask, maybe you have a gist for me” Leslie shrugged.
Pearl rolled her eyes and scoffed. “Gossip”
“I heard that”
“Do I look like I care?” She chuckled softly.
“So tell me, what’s the news?” Leslie asked, moving closer to Pearl only to get a snack on the head.
“Ouch!”
“That serves you right. You’re too nosy” Pearl smirked.
“Ion care. What’s going on between you and Sir Kingston?” Leslie asked again, not giving up.
“You never give up, right?” Pearl glared and Leslie grinned.
“Nope, tell me, I’m all ears”
“Nothing, we’re just meant to be” Pearl shrugged.
“Meant to be? Ion get you” Leslie pulled a confused brow.
“Yh, we’re betrothed”
“What?!” Leslie exclaimed loudly, attracting some of the workers’ attention.
Pearl glared at her and huffed. “How loud can you be again?”
“Sorry, I was just surprised” Leslie grinned but her face changed into a fake sad expression.
“What’s the problem?” Pearl asked as she noticed her face.
“He…he’s my crush! I can’t believe my crush is getting married to you..ahhh!!!” She wailed dramatically loud and Pearl had to cover her ears with her palm.
“It’s okay, stop wailing like a baby baboon. You can have him, he’s all yours” she said, getting tired with Leslie’s unending wails.
“Really?” Leslie’s eyes dimmed as she heard what Pearl said.
“Yh, really”
“OMG! Thank you bestie, you’re the best” she said and blew Pearl a ki-ss.
“To hell with that disgusting ki-ss of yours” Pearl rolled her eyes and ducked the direction of the ki-ss.
“Whatever, can’t believe he’s mine now, awwn” Leslie gushed and Pearl could only shake her head.

DONOVAN MANSION**
“Holly Molly! My innocent eyes!!!”
Lucas and Noella disengaged from each other when they heard Kathy’s voice.
Noella took her lower li-p in for a bite, staring embarra-ssingly at her laps. She felt shy to look up.
Lucas also sat on the bed with an annoying sigh. He dug his fingers throu-ghhis hair and let out a long frustrated.
He glanced at Noella who was fiddling with her fingers with her head down and held her chin, raising her head to look at him.
“Uhm, Sugar…”
“I’m..I’m sorry, Lucas. It was a mistake” Noella said hurriedly, interrupting Lucas.
“You shouldn’t be sorry, I’m rather sorry, if I rushed you” Lucas said, rubbing his thumb on her li-ps with a smile on his li-ps.
She gave out a short smile and gulped down nothing. “Erh, excuse me” she muttered and got down from the bed, adjusting the strap of her dress.
“Ella…” Lucas called and moved closer to her. “I’m sorry. Don’t feel shy, mm?” He said and pressed his li-ps on hers.
“I love you, and my baby” he said after breaking the ki-ss, caressing her hair.
“Love you too” she smiled and pecked his cheeks by tipping toe.
“Do you remember that you’re going to stay here?” Lucas asked, wiggling a brow at her.
“Yes, but no clothes. I didn’t bring any clothes along and also, I haven’t informed Pearl” Ella but her li-ps, hard.
“Stop a-ssaulting my baby..” he said and pulled her li-ps from her teeth.
“Don’t worry, I’ll lend you some of my shirt and we can go for shopping later. And you friend, you can call her or tell her later, okay?”
“Erm, okay. Excuse me” She said and walked out.
Lucas heaved and fell on the bed, puffing out air from his mouth. A smile greased on his li-ps as he remembered the hot romance.
He sighed and ruffled his hair, then went out of the room.

Noella rubbed her sweaty palm together, going downstairs – the garden to be precise. She knew that she would surely meet Lucas’s mom in the living room so she was prepared for her bicker.
She slowly descended the stairs, her heart in between her teeth at that moment.
“Here comes the two fornicators” Kathy snickered as soon as she set her eyes on Lucas and Noella.
Two? Noella furrowed her brows and looked behind her only to see Lucas descending the stairs as well.
Oh!
“Mom, I’m not ready for your drama, not yet” Lucas snarled and rolled his eyes, walking past Ella after winking at her.
“Uh, where are you going, Lucas?” Ella asked nervously as she could feel Kathy’s gaze on her.
“Take a stroll”
“Can I go with you?” She pouted and Lucas smiled.
“Yeah, sure”
Noella giggled and happily ran to him. He held her hands and they walked out, smiling at each other.
“Hey, make sure you don’t fornicate openly!” Kathy said behind them and Lucas rolled his eyes.
“She’s a handful of troubles” he muttered and wrapped his arms around Ella’s neck.

HOURS LATER**
SUNNY CLOTHING LINE**
Ana rounded up everything and took her bag, heading to the elevator. It was almost late and she had a task ahead of her.
Her phone rang and at the same time, the elevator opened. She picked it up and walked out of the elevator, waving and greeting any worker she comes across.
“Ma’am, it’s closing” a de-ep voice said from the background.
“Okay, keep an eye on her and inform me when Lucas arrives” she said into the phone, flagging down a cab.
“Noted, ma’am” and the call disconnected.
She sat in the cab and put on her dark shade spectacles, with a smug smirk on her li-ps.

SUNSHINE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL**
Sunny was sitting with her friend, Jessie and chatting.
“Yes, I’m gonna be a big sis” Sunny fli-pped her hair back with a smirk on her li-ps.
“I thought you don’t have a mom” Jessie said making Sunny frown.
“I have a mom, Jessie! She’s called Ella, and I love her. I bet you’ll also love her”
“Oh, I didn’t know..” Jessie lic-ked her small li-ps. “..my drive is here, I’ll be going, bye” she said and left, leaving Sunny.
“Why is daddy not here yet?” She muttered, checking the gate from time to time.
She stood up with her backpack and her lunch box, going out of the school.
Out of nowhere, a white handkerchief was covered on her nose making her loose consciousness immediately.
Thankfully, no one saw them and Sunny was carried into a black car then it drove away.
