Episode 36
Olivia’s POV
When I got back home from school, I freshened up and sat in the sitting room waiting for Nelson as usual.
Why can’t I just get mad at him for once? I said I won’t talk to him but here I am dying to see him.
I waited for two hours but I didn’t see him. Does that mean he isn’t going to come over today?
No, Nelson can’t do this to me. I’m missing him so much as it is so I don’t think I will be able to survive it if he doesn’t come.
I think I should call him.
“Hey cu-pcake. How are you doing?” Nelson said the moment he answered the call.
“I’m not fine” I said sadly
“Why? What happened?” he asked concerned
“I miss you. Won’t you come over today?” I asked him hopefully
“Errm…. I won’t be coming over, I have a lot of things to take care of but I promise to make it up to you tomorrow”
“Okay, bye” I said wanting to end the call but he stopped me
“Olivia try to un-derstand me please, I’m really busy. Okay, will you come to my house then?”
“What?!! ”
“Why are you screaming? Can’t you come over to your boyfriend’s house?”
“Don’t worry I’ll wait till tomorrow”
“So you can’t come right? No problem, I’ve heard you”
“It’s not as if I can’t come, I just don’t want to come now” I explained to him
“I un-derstand. Bye” he said and ended the call
Is he mad at me? What do I do now? I tried calling him back but he didn’t pick the call and I don’t want to go to his house now because I’m not ready to loose my Virg-inity yet.
I will just apologise to him when he comes over tomorrow.
Bella’s POV
“Good day doctor” I greeted calmly
“Good day young lady, please sit” he said gently
Hmm! If he was this gentle, why did he accept bribe?
After few minutes of sitting, he finally finished whatever he was doing.
“So how may I help you?” he asked
“You carried out a DNA test on Stephanie not to long ago. Am I right?” I noticed his discomfort but he quickly covered it up. This is getting really interesting.
“I don’t disclose information about my patients to anyone no matter who the person is so if that’s all you want to talk about, you’re excused” he said and started another work.
Hmm, if only he knows what I have in sto-re for him.
“Okay then. You can’t disclose your patient’s information to strangers but at least you will be able to go to court and tell them the reason why you’ve been accepting bribes from patients”
“Did you come here to threaten me? Besides who told you I accepted bribe from anyone? I’m a just and righteous man so you can do whatever you want”
“Even though I have evidence?” I said raising my brows
“Really? Where’s your evidence?”
“We will meet in court. You said you’re a just man so you shouldn’t be scared. If I fabricate the evidence, you will definitely know.
I will be on my way now” I said standing up but he came to block my way.
“Errm…. we can talk about this, please sit.”
Hmm, thank goodness. I actually thought he will let me leave just like that.
“What do you want?” he asked
“Firstly, were you the one that carried out the DNA test on Stephanie?”
“Y-Yes” he stuttered
“If you’re thinking of lying to me, I will advice you to think twice. I have my answers already but I’m only asking you to be sure you really mean business.”
“Okay I will say only the truth”
“Good. Is she really the daughter of Park Sung Joo?”
“Yes” he said nervously and he was even beginning to perspirate.
“I told you I know the answers already, right?” I said taking slow menacing steps round him.
“I… I had no choice. She promised me a huge amount of money, I never thought of the consequences. Please forgive me.
Don’t report me to anyone, I will do whatever you want.” he concluded while I just stared at him with my mouth agape trying to comprehend what he just said
“Y-You mean Stephanie bribed you t-to lie to Park Sung Joo about being his daughter” I stuttered when I finally found my tongue
“Y-Yes” he said shakily
“Okay thanks” I said and walked out of his office. I will still come back later for some things but for now, I need to digest the information I just heard.
My head is really hot and I fear I might collap-se any moment from now.
How could Stephanie be so cruel to have played such a dangerous game with someone like Park Sung Joo?
Even if he doesn’t find out now, he will definitely find out in the future. If someone had told me Stephanie could be this cruel, I wouldn’t have believed it.
The kind of friends she has have succeeded in teaching her many wrong things to the extent that she doesn’t even have any human feeling again.
I will have to ask her about it. Maybe the doctor lied to me, I really don’t want to believe it.
Stephanie was innocent from the start but the moment she tasted wealth, she never wanted to go back to being poor again so she’s doing everything in het power to keep her wealth going.

Stephanie’s POV
I really hate this practice. I’m the President’s daughter so why can’t I just skip this process and become a K-Pop idol?
I wonder why Mr Park’s family is so strict. If it were to be other families that are the President of a country, they will pamper their children and make sure they don’t stress themselves.
I’ve been trying to befriend the judges that would be present that day but they’re all too strict.
Still, I will make sure I bribe one of them before the contest so that I can come first.
“Ma’am your tutor is waiting” a maid said outside my room.
“Just a minute” I said and packed my books before going for the tutorial
“Miss Stephanie please always try to attend cla-sses early because my schedule is really ti-ght” she said softly
I wanted to eye her and talk to her in a way she will never forget but Mom had to walk in at that moment.
“Bapa-sseo mian haeyo seonseangnim” (I’m sorry teacher, I was busy). Naneun byeonhwaleul yagsoghanda (I promise to change)” I said like I meant it. Mom told me to speak Korean instead of English so I can be fluent.
“It’s okay miss. Let’s get down to business”
“How is she coming up?” Mom asked
“Her dance steps are still a bit weak and her written aspect is not really okay too but her voice is kinda better”
Can’t this lady just stop running her mouth?
“Stephanie I hope you heard her, it means you need to be more focused and study hard. Make sure you listen carefully, I will be in my room” Mom said and left.
She thought me some things for a while like how to improve my singing ability and the rest.
“So you will come forward now and dance to secret story of the swan by iz*one. Hope you’re fully prepared because I remember I told you to practice it.”
“I’m prepared” I went forward and she played the song.
*After the dance*
Stephanie you’re lagging behind a lot. You’re not going to be competing with 10 people, you’re going to compete with hundreds of people and I’m sorry to say if you continue like this, you won’t be chosen so please try to put more effort.
I can only teach you, I can’t dance or sing in your place. Practice make perfection like they say so all you have to do is practice hard, okay”
“Alright. Thank you”
“Okay that’s all for today. See you tomorrow” and with that she left.
Ahh, I’m finally free. Do they want me to kill myself because of a contest?
Let me eat and sleep, I’ve overworked myself too much

Episode 37
Nelson’s POV
After school, I decided to go to Olivia’s place to make up for yesterday.
I’m still going to pretend to be mad at her when her get there because I see no reason why she can’t come over to my own place.
She’s making me feel like I’m the only one that can go to any length for her in this relationship.
After few minutes, I finally arrived at her house. I wasn’t nervous this time because her Mom made me feel comfortable the last time I came here.
“Good day ma’am” I greeted her Mom when she opened the door for me.
“Welcome my son, come in” she said and made way for me.
“Olivia, your boyfriend is here” her Mom shouted probably so that Olivia can hear her wherever she is.
Few minutes later, Olivia came downstairs walking slowly and picking at her fingers while staring downward.
I felt like busting into laughter but quickly stopped myself before she finds out I’m not mad at her.
“I will leave both of you now, I was busy in the kitchen before you came” her Mom said and left us
“Good afternoon” Olivia greeted still not looking at my face. I think this will be fun
I ignored her and brou-ght out my phone frowning my face a little.
When she noticed I didn’t reply her greeting, she left. Huh? Just like that?
After some time, she returned with a juice. Thank goodness! I had actually thought she left angrily.
She brou-ght the drink and stood before me but I pretended not to see her and just continued playing games with my phone.
“Nelson have a drink” she said softly. That angelic voice!
I still ignored her, I won’t get carried away by her voice.
“Nelson…….” she drawed
“I never told you I wanted a drink” I answered coldly
“Nelson I’m sorry, won’t you forgive me?” she said but I pretended like I didn’t hear her.
She kept quiet after that and I thought she had given up already but she collected my phone within the twinkle of an eye.
“What was that for?” I asked angrily
“You’ve been ignoring me since so I thought this was the only way. I’m sorry for yesterday, it won’t happen again” she said almost crying
Okay this is the height of it, I can’t bear to see her in tears so I pulled her into a hug.
“I’m sorry too, I was only pulling your legs. I’ve forgiven you since yesterday, I’m sorry I almost made you cry”
“You’re not mad at me?” she asked calmly
“No I’m not. I can’t possibly be mad at someone I claim to love. Let’s go to your room” I said to her but she shook her head
“Come on Olivia. If you’re thinking I want to repeat what I did two days ago then you’re wrong. Besides there’s nothing wrong with what I did” I said but she was still reluctant
“Okay I promise you I won’t even kis-s you not to talk of touching you. Satisfied?” I asked and she nodded her head
“Alright, let’s go then” I said to her and we both went upstairs.
“So have you been reading like I asked you to?” I asked her
“Yes”
“Okay then. I’m going to give you thirty minutes to answer this hundred questions”
“Th– irty minutes?” she stuttered
“Yeah thirty minutes” I said bringing out the question
“And your time starts now”
She sat down and started answering the questions, she looks really beautiful when she’s working.
I wish we were in the same cla-ss, I would stare at her throu-ghout the whole day.
*Thirty minutes later*
“Time up” I said
I collected the sheet from Olivia and checked it, I was really surprised to see she was done already.
“Wow! My girlfriend isn’t just beautiful but also really smart” I said to her
“Give me few minutes to mark the answers” I said and brou-ght out the correct answers to the question.
After marking it, I counted the scores and discovered she only got five wrong. Wow! So she’s also smart? Let me play a prank on her.
“I thought you said you’ve been reading?” I asked her
“Y-Yes” she stuttered
“Then why this score?”
“W-What was my score?” she asked
“Check it out yourself” I said stretching it to her
Olivia’s POV
I slowly collected the sheet from him expecting to see the worst score but I became confused when I saw 95/100.
“I don’t un-derstand Nelson. Where’s my score?”
“That’s it. Can’t you see it?”
“I can only see 95/100 here”
“Yeah that’s your score” he said rolling his eyes
“You mean I scored 95?”
“Yeah”
“Ahhhhh! I screamed and jumped on him”
“Don’t let my clothes get rou-gh” Nelson said smiling
“What’s so special about your clothes? I can’t believe I scored 95”
“I never knew you were this brilliant” Nelson said making me blus-h
“That’s the written aspect. What about the practical aspect of it? Can you dance?”
“I-I can try” I stuttered. Don’t tell me I’m going to dance in his presence. No, it’s not possible
“Alright. So you’re going to be performing lovesick girls by Blackpink. I will play the song for you without music so you’re going to sing and dance yourself.
Remember you have to put in your best as if you’re contesting today”
“I really don’t un-derstand why I’m doing all this.” I said frustratedly
“Don’t worry, you will get to know soon. So let’s begin but first you have to change your clothes so that it will be comfortable for you to dance”
After he said that, I went to my closet and changed my clothes.
“Wow!” Nelson said when I got back to the room. He quickly snapped out of it and signalled me to get into position.
“I.. 2… 3” Nelson counted and played the song without music while I sang and danced to it
*Five minutes later*
“That was awesome” Nelson said
“You’re really good at everything you do. What’s the secret?” he asked moving closer
“There’s no secret” I said pushing him slightly while he frowned his face
“You look like a cute puppy” I said touching his nose
“I’m not an animal” he whined
“And you look cuter when you whine like a baby” I teased
“I will be on my way now” he said and I instantly became moody
“Okay, bye” I said and stood up to leave but he held me back.
“What’s wrong” he asked calmly
“Nothing” I answered looking away
“Come on Olivia, you can’t just suddenly become moody for no reason”
“I’m going to miss you” I said pouting my li-ps
“And I will miss you too. I know I promised not to kis-s you but can I? Please…. ”
Truth be told, I also want to kis-s him so badly but I’m still not really good at it.
“Okay then but you can’t go beyond that”
“Alright” he said placing his hands on my wai-st while I placed my hands on his shoulders and he took my li-ps in his as we engaged in a hot pa-ssionate kis-s.
“I have to get going now” Nelson said after we disengaged from the kis-s
“Alright, take care. I love you” I said
“I love you more” and with that he left
Bella’s POV
I’m really confused right now. I don’t think asking Stephanie about what the doctor told me is a good idea.
I mean if she could bribe the doctor to fool everyone, it means she’s ready to go to any length to remain the President’s daughter and I’m scared she might try to harm me if she finds out I know about her fraudulent act.
This is when I really need Ava and Katherine but I don’t want anyone to know about it yet and I also don’t want to drag my best friends into something like this. I won’t be able to forgive myself if something happens to them because of me.
I guess I have to do this alone this time but what exactly should I do? I can’t just go to the President of Korea and tell him his daughter is an imposter.
I need solid evidence. I recorded what the doctor said but that isn’t evidence enough. I will have to get the video of Stephanie and the doctor when they were making the deal.
Why does Stephanie have to give me this kind of stress? I wish she could just confess her crimes to everyone but that’s close to impossible.
She has tasted wealth and become greedy so I have no choice but to reveal the truth to the world myself.
