💙 Beryl’s POV 💙
What was in my head is I have a sister, they know my mother
Tears rolled down my eyes as I made my way down the street
How could they have done that to me?
All my life I wished so ha-rd for family of my own not knowing someone somewhere knows my mother and I have even have a sister
Different thoughts were running throu-gh my mind right now
What if they’re the ones that killed my parents
No! They wouldn’t have done that
I just don’t want to see them right now
I ran untill I got to the nearest bus st©p
Thank God I had my phone with me I called Maggie first
” Hey baby girl you said good night alre-ady”
“Maggie!” I called crying
“Beryl what’s wrong?”
” I nee-d you now more than ever”
“What’s Beryl…. Where are you right now?” She asked and I gave her my location
I was beginning to get scared since I was outside alone and since Dylan’s house was closer I called him
” Beryl?”
“Dylan” I called still not able to st©p crying
” What’s wrong Beryl?” He asked worried
” plea-se come pick me at that bus station near our house ”
“What on Earth are you doing there at this time of the day?…. You Know what?, Wait for me I am on my way” he said and I heard ruffling sounds before the line went off
It felt like someone was watching my every move so I started moving forward
Suddenly a car drove towards me at a very fast rate the last thing I heard before sli-pping into a state of unconsciousness were voices shouting
“Beryl!”.

🖤 Maggie’s POV 🖤
I was really startled when I heard Beryl crying over the phone
I had to plead with my dad to allow me go and get did but not without my driver and two b©dy guards
I gave my driver the directions but he couldn’t park there because it was a no parking zone
I made him let me out of the car while he find somewhere to park I moved around until I found Beryl
I was going to call when I saw it
The car coming towards her
” Beryl!” I yelled.

💚 Dylan’s POV 💚
I made the driver drive as fast he could
Beryl was crying and whatever was ma-king her cry was definitely not good
The driver told me where she was is a no parking area so I got out of the car while he sorted himself out
I ran as far as my leg could carry me and when I saw Beryl walking towards my way I slowed down
Suddenly a car drove past me,it was so fast that it almost knocked me off balance
My heart crashed when I realized that it was heading towards Beryl
“Beryl!” I yelled devastated.

💜 Tim’s POV💜
I was alre-ady drifting off when I heard footsteps of people running
I was tired but I got out of be-d anyways
I went put of my room only to see my mum crying and Dad looking worried
” What’s going on?” I asked and Dad sighed
” There was an issue so Beryl ran off”
“What?… To where? ”
” I don’t know, we were trying to follow her but she told us to go back before she does something irrational.”
” Oh what on Earth did you guys say to her” I asked running out of the house
I asked the gate man where Beryl and he told him she went towards the bus station
I ran after her
I don’t think I have ever run that fast in my life
I looked around until I sighted her walking forward I ran as fast as I could when I saw it
The car was driving at a very high speed towards Beryl
I ran towards and screamed
” Beryl!”.

( I am sorry this is a short one, I am at work)
🍫 Tim’s POV 🍫
The car st©pped before it got to get but Beryl was unconscious alre-ady
Whoever was driving the car c@m£ down and I ran to meet him
I saw Magaret and Dylan too
” I am really sorry, I didn’t see her, I was taking my wife to the hospital she is in labour” the man said apologizing
” I didn’t hit her with the car, I promise” he said and I peeked into the man’s car to see his heavily pregnant wife writhing in pain
” You can go” I said picking my sister up
” Thank you sir, thank you very much” he said entering his car and he drove off
” What are we gonna do?” Dylan asked
“We can’t take her back home like this, we’d find a car and take her to the hospital”
” My car is parked around the corner, we can take her with that” Maggie volunteered and I nodded
We quic-kly moved to her car and I entered with Maggie and Beryl, after the two b©dy guards got down to follow Dylan’s car.
When we got to the hospital the nurses took her from us and told us to wait outside
I was really worried
I kept praying nothing happens to her, because I didn’t get a sister to loose her.
Dylan joined us and the nurses and doctors kept going inside and coming outside but no one could give us any reply until an hour later.
The doctor called all of us to his office and we went there nervous
” Is my sister okay?” I asked the moment I sat down
” Yes yes, what about your parents?”
“Is anything wrong?, I am eighteen you can tell me if something is wrong” I said beginning to doubt if my sister I really alright
” Nothing is, just being professional, she fainted as a result of shock, the tests we did reveals that the patient had sustained a head injury which has not fully healed, neither the internal or the external wound has healed that’s why she fainted as a result of whatever she saw… She is fine now, but you have to be careful of things she sees all hear, her mental health is very fragile right now, I am going to prescribe some drugs for you and the patient would be discharged, plea-se make full payment at the counter.” He said and all I could do is just stare
“Thank you sir” Dylan said urging me off the chair
We moved out of the doctor’s office and I went to see my sister while Maggie and Dylan went to get the drugs
” Beryl” I called from the door and she turned to look at me
” Bro”
” Why? Beryl, why?” I asked moving closer to her, tears were alre-ady swelling in my eyes but I am trying my best to hold them back
” It’s complicated”
” Whatever it is you could have talked to me first”
” I am sorry”
“We’d sort this at home, let’s go home”
” I don’t want to go!” She said shocking me.

💕 Beryl’s POV 💕
” I don’t want to go” I said trying to turn but Tim held my hand
“What’s going on Beryl, tell me, I am your brother or do you have any other brother than me?, A problem shared is half solved so tell me so that we can find solution to it.”
” You can’t un-derstand”
” Try me, c’mon Beryl just say it, I don’t mind being left confused”
” Well, Mum and Dad knows my biological mother”
” You said? ” Tim asked obviously shocked
” You are kidding, how did you know that?”
” Well, I was going to their room to talk to them about Dylan when I overheard them talking about telling me something, they said my mum would have wanted me and my sister to know about something, Tim I have a sister!” I said aw tears began to drop
” Hey, hey, don’t cry, I un-derstand”
” Tim what if….. What if… ”
” They killed your parents?” He asked and all I could do was look into his eyes
” Look, I un-derstand the situation you are in right now but I am a hundred percent sure our parents would never do that, for them to keep it away from you, they must have a very strong reason behind that, so you know what?, I am going to call mum and dad to come over here since you don’t want to go home yet, we’d settle this here, okay?”
” Yeah” I said wiping my tears, I opened my arms for a hvg and he c@m£ into them
” You are the best brother I could ever wish for” I said
” And you are the best sister”he replied
” What’s going on?” Dylan asked from the door where he was standing with Magaret.
” Relax big guy,no one is stealing her away from you” Tim said re-leasing me
“I… That’s not…. I mean…” Dylan shuttered
” I un-derstand” Tim said patting my hair, he walked over to Maggie and whispered something into her ear then he left
I looked from Maggie whose mouth was now hanging open to Dylan who in turn looked at me too
” Maggie?”
” Huh?”
“Come over here” I said and she quic-kly walked over to me and sat beside me on the be-d
” What did my brother tell you?”
” Um…he…”
” The truth Maggie”
” Um… He said, don’t he jealous you’d get yours soon”
” Awwwn” I cooed and she eyed me
” C’mon it’s a sure one for you now you know?”
” I am not d@t!ngyour brother he’s ugly, I want to d@t£ Dylan” she said trying to tease me but I laughed
” Huh?…I am not blind sis, I just saw your mouth hang open when Tim whispered in your ear, and even if those words were genuine I’d have declined because I have my eyes on someone else” Dylan said, I was not looking at him but I know his eyes were on me at that moment.
” I miss church” I blurted since no one was talking again
But then to be sincere I really did miss church
” Well T.G.I.F” Magaret said
“True, thank God it’s Friday”
I was sitting up when Maria suddenly entered
” Berry?, What happened sweetheart?”
“Maria?, What are you doing here?”
“I asked you first, what happened?”
“Nothing much, I got into a little accident”
“Little accident? and you are at the hospital?” She asked eyeing me
” C’mon…so what are you doing here?”
” I c@m£ to get painkillers for my back”
” Maria!, You didn’t get that test done, did you?, You are gonna hurt yourself”
” See who is talking”
“I am serious”
” I am too busy taking care of kids in the orphanage, and you’ve not been coming for a while now”
” I am sorry” I said when I realized she could have gone for the test if I had been at the orphanage as usual
” It’s fine, are this your friends?” She said and I realized I miss her accent, the rich blend of Spanish accent and English words, I smiled
“Yeah, Dylan, Maggie this is Maria, the caretaker of the orphanage I lived in before, and Maria this is Maggie and that’s Dylan, they are my friends”
” Nice meeting you guys”
“Nice meeting you too ma.”
” Wait, Maria how did you know I was here?”
” Your brother told me”
” And how did you know my brother?”
” Beryl don’t you know the orphanage you left is a very detailed one, girl we know everything about the family are adopted into.”
” Oh ” I exclaimed
Whatever is gonna happen I feel good that Maria, Tim, Dylan and Maggie are here for me.

💞 Tim’s POV 💞
After I directed Beryl’s former guardian to the ward she was in, I made my way outside and called our parent
I explained what happened to them and what we concluded on
They were really worried about her and they told me they’d be here in 30 minutes or so
I decided to wait for them so that we can go in together.
Like they said they arrived 30 minutes later with the housekeeper and her daughter, I wonder why.
We went in together to meet Beryl and others
We went in and everyone went quiet
” Beryl my baby are you okay?” My mum asked rushing to her
“Mum, I am really sorry I ran” she said crying
” Baby it’s fine, it is okay, I hope you are not feeling pain anywhere”
” No” she said
” Hello Miss Maria” Dad greeted
” Hi Mr Martin” she replied
“How is the orphanage?”
” God is taking care of us”
“Miss Maria?” The housekeeper called and everyone turned and looked at her confused
“Yes?” Maria replied confused as well
” You don’t remember me?”
” No ma’am”
” From seventeen years ago, Madam Clara”
” Madam Clara!” She exclaimed.
I couldn’t have been more confused.

💭 Beryl’s POV 💭
Something is telling me, a big secret is about to be revealed but it just didn’t add up, Maria said Madam Clara was an old woman
” But sorry ma’am Madam Clara was an old woman”
” Yeah she is my mother”
“Oh how is she?” Maria asked while everyone just looked on
” She pas-sed away five years ago”
” Oh my, I am sorry about that” Maria said and the housekeeper nodded
Everywhere went quiet but I couldn’t take it
” What’s going on?” I asked and mum sighed
” It’s high time you know the truth Beryl, Diana, something happened seventeen years ago, your own biological parents Beryl and your biological parents Diana uncovered a very dangerous information about one of the most dangerous business tycoon, it was so dangerous that he was after your parent’s life, they had a sister and they left you guys with her, along the line they were murdered and the sister left you with realized they were after their children so she had to take them to a save place” Dad said and everything started adding up
” I am that sister, Beryl, Diana, you were those children, they were three of you back then, Beryl your mother was Diana’s mother’s twin sister and she gave birth to twin too, which is you and your twin sister, and your sister, Diana your mother gave birth to just you, but almost at the same time they gave birth to the twins, when I realized Ted was after you guys, I left you guys in Tiana’s house, where I believed you all will be safe” mum explained and I was surprised, so she is actually my aunty
” What?” Diana exclaimed looking at her mum
” Yes sweetie, someone left three kids at my doorstep and rang the bell, they were not even a year old yet, but there was a letter saying plea-se save them, I couldn’t take care of you all by myself so I kept you and put the twins in different orphanages”
” Wait this is crazy ” Tim said
” So they are both actually my cousins?”
” Yes Tim,that was why I c@m£ back for them, I watched everything Madam Tiana did, that’s why I c@m£ back to adopt Beryl, but unfortunately when we got to the orphanage she left Beryl’s twin sister, they’ve adopted” mum said ru-bbing my arm
” Your mother actually thought we should tell you guys when we find Beryl’s twin sister, but I didn’t want us to keep that away from you since Ted has been prosecuted and jailed”
” Diana?” I called and opened my arms, I was feeling really emotional but then I am happy I found my family
She c@m£ into my arms and Tim wra-poee his arms around us too, I could hear Maria sniffing
We re-leased ourselves and I wiped my face
” So where is my twin now?.”
