EPISODE ELEVEN.

It’s been two days since Nikki pas-sed away and I’ve been thinking. All I think of at this moment are her last words.
Did she really mean that I should tell him about how I feel. After we had talked that day and I express my feelings towards him.
Nikki did like him but why didn’t she say anything to him. I’ve got to figure out what to do.
If I do tell Charles that I like him, wouldn’t he see me like someone who’s out of her mind?. I’m definitely sure his not going to accept me because I’m just a spirit wandering around.
What if things do turn out different if I tell him. no I shouldn’t tell him, after all I just have few more days. He will probably forget about me when I’m gone.
“Take the initiate and tell him how you feel, he might also be feeling the same way” Nikki’s words enchanted inside my ears ma-king me confused.
What should I do now? I’m stuck. what If I tell him and he does like me too but we won’t be together because I’ve got just few days to live in this ghost form. Carmen think you have to think” I said hitting my head ha-rd .
“What are you doing up the roof alone?” Roberto’s voice clue from far and I turn around and saw him standing by a site watching me.
“Have you been there for long?” I asked and he chuckled.
“What? i just got here. why do you seat all alone here?” he asked.
“I’m just here to cool off my head” I said and he moved away from where he stood and sat beside me.
“Still can’t get over Nikki?” he said ma-king it sound as a question.
“Yeah! I was just wandering how boring the place looks without her around. I’m sure where ever she is now she must definitely be happy” I said and he sm-irked.
“You don’t have to worry, I’m sure Nikki is absolutely fine where ever she is now” he said and I smiled.
We both sat quite looking around at the beautiful weather.
A lady walk throu-gh the lonely road as we both stare at her from up the roof. she walked with a man of which his face wasn’t visible to ours.
They suddenly st©pped and started having a conversation while Roberto and I stared at the both of them.
The man suddenly turn and I saw his face very clear.
“Isn’t that Charles?” I asked and Roberto nodded looking down at them.
“Who’s the lady he’s with?” I asked trying to take a proper look at the her face.
“That’s Nancy” he said and I turned staring at him.
“You know her?” I asked and he nodded bring out chin – chin from his pocket.
“Yes I know her. she’s the girl Charles told me he likes” he said chowing his chin chin.
“He likes her? ” I said ma-king it sound like a question and he nodded.
“Yes he does, but the problem Is he doesn’t have the courage to tell her to her face” he said and I nodded.
So Charles alre-ady like someone else. what was I even thinking, it’s better I don’t tell him anything.
“Why are you looking at them like that, are you jealous?” he asked and I chuckled.
“Me? jealous, of course not” I said and he stood up from his seat.
“Okay if you say so, I’m leaving you” he said and walk away.
I stared at both of them as they say goodbye to each other. My heart beat was abnormal and I got angry without even knowing why.
I woke up from the roof t©p and disappeared, reappearing close to the girl after Charles had left.
I just stared at her for a moment and wandered what’s special about her.

I walked into my room and didn’t find either Carmen nor Roberto.
“Where did they both go too?” I asked undressing myself.
I tied my towel round my w@!st and walk into the bathroom to take a bath.
After I was done in the bathroom, I walk out, dried myself up and changed into my normal dressing attire.
I looked around and wandered why either Carmen nor Roberto haven’t come back.
“Cloud they…..?” I thought and suddenly Roberto walked in without even opening the door.
After all he is a ghost.
“Where is Carmen?” I asked as he lied his back on the soft be-d.
“Oh Carmen?” he said sounding like he was the one asking the question.
“Where is she?” I asked again.
“She’s at the roof t©p wanting to jump off the cliff” he said and I bec@m£ worried.
“Why didn’t you st©p her ?” I asked wearing my shoes.
“She was so mad that she didn’t want to listen to me” he said and I quic-kly rushed out heading to the roof t©p.
I was racing at the speed of light when something suddenly knock me in the head.
“Wait a minute. Carmen is a ghost and no such thing can happen to her. Even if she does jump from the building, she won’t get hurt nor die again. Roberto trick me” I said and st©pped running.
I walk normally to the roof t©p and immediately I got there, I saw her watching the stars up and smiling.
Her smile made her face brighten up a little and her hair fell behind her back ma-king her look very beautiful.
I watched her as she kept staring into space. I wandered why I found her look different from other days. Today she looked more prettier.
After watching her for a while I decided to go have a word with her. I moved slowly and she noticed my footsteps as my shoes made little sounds.
She turn and looked at my then turn back to the other side.
“Why are you here all alone?” I asked walking to her.
She remained quite, observing the stars.
“You look every beautiful today” I said hoping for her to talk to me.
“Aren’t you at least ganna say something?” I asked and she as she showed me just her back.
I hvgged her before behind and her b©dy seems to be warm. I felt like never letting go of the of her at that moment.
“What are you doing?” do you know I can sue you for haras-sment? she asked shifting away from me and I chuckled.
“Look at whose talking about sueing me?” I asked smiling.
“Don’t talk to me, I want to be left alone” she said still not looking at me.
“Okay. Since you want to be left alone don’t blame me for doing this, you’ll have to sue me for it” I said smiling.
“Doing what?” she asked wanting to turn towards me and I k!ssher by the cheeks.
“You?” she yelled as I rushed out of her sight.

“Roberto why did you lie to me?” I yelled at him after getting back into the room.
“I just wanted to know how worried you will be if Carmen was in danger and you really were worried” he said and I claim down.
“I’ve made up my mind about that thing we talked about” I said and he smiled.
“So what’s it ganna be?” he asked waiting impatiently for my response.
“I’ll confuse to Carmen that I like her, I don’t mind if she’s a ghost or what, as long as I know I’m going to spend her last moments with her” I said and he smiled at me.
“Wow that’s so good to hear, you’ve finally made the right decision” he said and I nodded.
“How about we go for our night duty now” I said and he nodded.
“Aren’t you going to give it up, they keep on beating you just like they beat me he said and I nodded.
“I’m not giving up on you and Carmen’s wish. I must fulfil my promise to you two. I regret not fulfilling Nikki’s wish before she pas-sed away, so I’ve told myself that I’m definitely going to help you two get your wish fulfilled” I said and he smiled.
“Before we leave, I have something to tell you and I hope you don’t get angry” he said and I nodded smiling.
“What’s it?” I asked.
“Just now when you where talking with Nancy, I and Carmen saw you and I told her everything” he said.
everything like what? I asked.
Everything like, You liking Nancy he said shifting away from me.
What???.
EPISODE TWELVE.

“What? why did you tell her that?”
no wander her behavior towards me today was so different.
“I just wanted to see her reaction. Maybe see if she will get jealous” he said and I chuckled.
“Get jealous?” I asked.
“Yeah, you know man I got to be sure if she really likes you” he said and I nodded.
“So you are testing the both of ours. Are we some kind of experiment?'” I yelled at him and he looked scared.
“Take it easy bro. Won’t you want to know How she reacted” he said and I claim down.
“Tell me how did you react?” I asked in a very low tune and payed my attention in listening to him.
“I’ll tell you after our night shift” he said and ran out.
I quic-kly pick up my bag and followed, rushing to catch up with him.
I looked around the streets and didn’t see him.
I walk throu-gh the quite and lonely road alone heading to where we’ll meet.
He suddenly appeared in front of me.
“You scared me?” I yelled holding my che-st.
“Are you that Afraid to die?” he asked smiling.
“Yeah. everyone is afraid to die but the truth is we all have that one day which is met for ours and only ours alone” I said and he chuckled.
“So when that day comes will you still be afraid of death?” he asked as we walk throu-gh the lonely and dark road.
“Of course, I’m still ganna be afraid of death even at the last minute” I said and he sm-irked.
“So are you willing to let go of some people in your life” he asked and I turned and faced him.
“St©p asking all this I’m not ganna talk to you still we are done today” I said and he nodded.
“just one question and that will be all” he said and I nodded.
“Just one, you’ve got three minutes” I said and he nodded.
“That’s so mean of you just three minutes?” he asked and I nodded.
“You’re running out of time” I said and he nodded petting his lowerl-ips.
“If you where to wake up one day and didn’t see me and Carmen are you ganna miss ours?” he asked.
“What type of stupid question is that, of course I’m going to miss all of you including Nikki” I said and a smile formed on his face.
“Do you know why?” I asked and he nodded shaking his head.
“It’s because you guys changed me from the man I used to be” I said smiling, tears almost dropping out.
“So what type of a guy were you at first?” he asked.
“I used to be someone on my own, no friends, no family and I always thought I was happy like that, not until I met you three” I said and he sm-irked.
“you know to me meeting you three Is one of the happiest and best things that has happened to me” I said smiling.
“So what can you say about knowing Nancy?” he asked.
“Nancy is a girl I helped a year ago and I had always thought I loved her but I found out that it was just a friendly love and nothing more to it” I said as we still kept on moving.
“Wow I’m t©uçhed by your words” Carmen said very claimly appearing from no where.
“How come? why are you here?” Roberto asked and I quic-kly cleaned my eyes.
“I’m so so sorry for eloping on you guys but I got real t©uçh by what you just said now” she said smiling.
“Meaning you’ve been eloping on ours ever since?” I asked and she nodded.
“Don’t get me wrong, I just didn’t want to stay home alone so I decided to follow you two” she said and I flin-ch.
“So this means you’ve been listening to our conversation ever since?” Roberto asked and she nodded.
“It’s just after you got out of the house. I saw you two from the rooft©p and decided to tag along” she said and we both breath out.
“How come you’re able to follow ours and we didn’t notice it?” Roberto asked and we both st©p and stare at her. More [email protected]
“It’s a trick Nikki taught me. You can make yourself invisible that even another ghost can’t see you” she said smiling and we both turn back to the road.
She turn and walk towards my left arm leaving Roberto at the right.
“Just now you mentioned that you had realize you don’t love Nancy right?” she wispered and I nodded.
“Yes I said so” I responded and Roberto didn’t payed attention to the both of ours.
“So what made you realize it?” she asked.
“I fell in love with the right person for me” I responded.
“who? “she immediately asked not giving me breathing space.
“Why should I tell you, it’s not like you are a lawyer or a reporter who is doing an interview on me, lets get moving Roberto is walking ahead of ours” I said and walked fas-ter.
“Wait! just tell me” she said following me and insisting.
She kept on insisting I tell her until we got to the place we were heading to.
“Common tell me” she said walking behind me.
“Charles look that’s him over there?” Roberto said pointing at a setting direction.
“Okay I’ll handle this” I said wanting to go on a different direction.
“Who is it?”, why are we here?” Carmen asked.
“Just keep quiet and watch” I said and walk away from the both of them.
I ran out surprising the guy by a shoot at him as he just watch me.
“It’s you again?” he asked and I nodded.
“plea-se just take hit me, hit me in anyway you want” he said handling me a stick.
“Is there something wrong with this guy today? where are the other two?” I wandered as I stared at him.
“Sir are you okay?” I asked wandering if I had come to the wrong person or place.
“Just hit me I’ve been a bad guy all my life and to the extent I even hurt my cousin” he said and I just kept staring at him and looking back at the stick.
“Charles just hit him, hit him” Roberto kept saying and I just decided to do it.
i hit him with the stick several times before running off, I nee-ded to make sure he wasn’t tra-pping me so I ran for a very long distance.
I finally st©pped and breath out in a hurst and just then Roberto appreard smiling like it was the happiest day of his life.
“Finally my wish is fulfilled, I can’t believe you actually did it” he said hvgging me with so much emotion shown all over his face.
“Where is Carmen?” I asked after he let go off me.
“Here I am” she said appearing close to me and I smiled at her.
“What was all that for?” she asked not un-derstand what we just did.
“My wish is finally fulfilled” he said and she flin-ch.
“Wish?” she asked and he nodded.
“Yes I can now leave a happy man” he said and Carmen shoke her head.
“I’m leaving, you two should meet me at home” Carmen said and disappeared.
“What’s she rushing home to do?” I asked wandering about.
“I don’t know she must probably have something she wants to do and don’t want ours to know” Roberto said as we walk back home.
“I couldn’t believe you cloud look this happy” I said walking ahead of him.
“Charles???” he called and I turned staring at him as he stood still.
“What’s it?” I asked.
“I can’t feel my b©dy” he said and I immediately rush to him.
“What do you mean?” I asked holding him as he fell to the ground.
“I don’t know, I’m supposed to vanish tomorrow not today. my whole b©dy system is freaking me out” he said in a tearful manner.
“Wait I’ll try and see if i can help you” I said looking around and thinking of what I cloud do.
“Thank you Charles” he said as he legs had alre-ady vanished.
“You should go find Carmen and tell her about your true feeling for her” he said and I nodded.
“At a time like this you still think of something like that ?” I said as I held his hand.
“I’ll be very angry with you if Carmen vanishes without you telling her” he said and i nodded.
“Okay” I’ll tell her” I said and he smiled.
“Don’t put all my efforts to waste okay” he said and I nodded.
“Thank you for everything you’ve done for me Charles”I’m very greatfull” he said vanishing.
“Roberto”I shouted crying as his last b©dy p@rt vanishes.
I stood there and tears fell down my chicks.
“I nee-d to find Carmen, I must tell her before anything happens to her” I said and woke up running home to find Carmen.
