I ran as fast as my legs cloud carry me. I just kept running throu-gh the dark and lonely road still I got home.
I dash the door open and hurried into the room without wasting time.
“What was that?” she asked standing up from the be-d.
I rushed towards her and hvgged her ti-ghtly breathing out my lungs.
“Thank God you’re okay” I said dis£ngaging from the hvg and holding her hands.
“What’s it? why did you run so fast?” she asked as I held on to her soft and warm hands.
“Carmen….I have something to tell you” I said.
“I like you” I said smiling at her.
“Huh…?”she said as she wilden her eyes at me.
“What , don’t you like me too?” I asked and she left go off my hands turning her back on me.
She kept quiet and didn’t alter a word and I also just stood still waiting for her response.
“Carmen you’ve come to be a p@rt of me I can’t let go off, you showed me what being happy means. You change me from the lonely guy I used to be, I really like you” I stated.
“Carmen…aren’t you ganna say
something?” I asked breaking the silence.
After another minutes of her not saying anything and I decided to walk out.
“Leave it I thought….” I said and she turned giving me a surprise k!ss.
We both k!$$£d for minutes before separating ourl-ips . she lied her forehead on mine which made our nostril t©uçh each others.
“I love you Charles” she said as I cloud feel her breathe.
I smiled hvgging her again.
“I love you more” I said and k!$$£d her forehead.
“Come let’s go” she said taking my hand and running out of the house.
I never cloud have believe Roberto’s words were right, she really those likes me.
“Where are you taking me?” I asked as we kept running in the streets.
“You’re going to see it when we get there” she said and I smiled.
“Why did you bring me here?, it’s alre-ady closed” I asked as we stood infront of the
amusement park.
“We cloud snick in” she said and I chuckled.
“And what if I get caught?” I asked and she sm-irked.
“I’ll save you” she said and I chuckled.
“How are you going to do that when you’re invincible” I asked and she chuckled.
“Don’t worry they won’t even notice ours talkless of catching you” she said and I nodded.
“okay then I’ll snick in” I said and walk to the conner of a walk. I climbe-d up jumping into the park.
The place looked very quiet as if no one was there.
“Finally you’re inside” Carmen said walking towards me.
“Let’s go” she said holding hands with me and I smiled.
We both pla-yed throu-gh out the night in the amusement park. we pla-yed lots and turns of stuffs still we got tired and looked for a sp©t and sat on.
We both sat down and Carmen lient her head on my shoulders watching the stars.
“Look it’s a shooting star, quic-k make a wish” she said putting her hands together.
I joined her in doing same. I closed my eyes and made my wish.
*I wish Carmen will never leave my sight and we will always be together* I said and opened my eyes seeing her staring at me and smiling.
“They say when you make a wish with a shooting star, that wish will definitely come throu-gh” she said and I k!ssher.
“Tell me what did you wish for?” she asked bring her face close to mine.
“Can’t tell” I said turning my face to a different direction.
“No I can’t tell” I said standing up on her.
“Let’s go home” I said and walked a little bit away from her.
“Okay” she said and as i faced forward.
She claimed on me from behind.
“What are you doing? don’t you know you might fall” I said holding her firmly on my back.
“I want you to back seat me” she said and ra-pped her hands around my n£¢k.
“Lets go I’m set” she said and I shoke my head moving with her.
She lied on my back in such a way I cloud feel the sound of her heart beating on my back.
“Since when did you start liking me?” she asked as I walk with her on my back home.
“If you ask me, I’ll tell you it was since the first day I saw you. That day I saw an epitome of beauty standing at my face, and when I got to know you I just wasn’t sure you felt the same way” I said and she chuckled.
“Wow I had always thought, you didn’t like me, and I had always asked myself why would you like me?” she said and I nodded.
“Sometimes they must not be a reason for you to like something or someone. You just nee-d to set your eyes on that person and that’s it you alre-ady like him/her” I said and she nodded.
“when I’m gone, are you still going to remember me?” she asked and I st©pped walking.
“Why are you talking like that? I’m not even gonna let such a thing happened to you. I’ll try my best to keep you with me” I said and she nodded.
We resume walking again.
“Charles put me down” she said as we were almost reaching home.
“What is it?, we are alre-ady home” I said and she insisted on me dropping her off my back.
“What’s wrong Carmen?” I asked watching her held her stomach.
“I feel a lot of pain, my internal organs are freaking me out”she said gro-an ing.
“Or no this is the same thing that happened to Roberto before he finally left me. what should I do?” I said panicking.
“Charles claim down, just look at me” she said and I nodded.
“It’s okay if I leave, you don’t have to worry, After all, we all have to leave this world one day. All I want from you is to always remember me when I’m gone” she said as tries drop down from my eyes.
“I don’t want you to leave, I want ours to be together and forever, I want you to watch you grow old with me” I said and she smiled at me.
“You know that’s not possible right. If I get reborn or go back to my b©dy, I promise to find you no matter what I’ll try” she said as her b©dy had alre-ady started vanishing.
“Give me one last hvg and plea-se don’t cry, I promise to find you” she said and I hvgged her.
Before a twi-nkle of an eye she was gone after wispering in my hears”I love you”.
*EPILOGUE*.
In a big and most notable hospital called OUTPATIENT a nurse stood in a room checking a patient around 3am in the morning.
The patient had been on conscious for over a week. The vital sign monitor suddenly st©pped moving.
“Code red, Code red, Doctor” she shouted pressing the emergency bu-tton and in no time the doctor and other nurses were there checking on the lady.
“We nee-d to perform a CRP on her is everyone clear?” he asked and they all nodded.
“Clear” they said and he joint the two p@rts together before hitting it over her che-st.
He did it for over four times and suddenly the vital signer monitor started operating reaving her back to life.
“She’s now out of danger and I believe in two days time she’s going to wake up from Comer” he announced and all the nurse smiled.

*A WEEK LATER*
A lonely and boring day has come again. I still haven’t moved on from what had happened to me last week.
I still can’t get Carmen out of my mind, She’s like a plant that has been planted in my head and is growing each day.
I wander if she was reborn or she went back into her original b©dy. I’ve missed her a lot.
I’ve kept wishing for her to come back to me ever since she left. Like she said *if you make a wish with a shooting star then that wish will definitely come to pas-s”. I’m still alone waiting for the day my wish may finally come to pas-s.
Carmen I love you and I wish you can return back to me so we can continue from where we st©pped.
“There isn’t a day that pas-s by without me remembering you, I hope you’re okay where ever you are and I know you are longing to return back to me” I said sitting on my be-d tiredly.
I breathe out and made to change my dress when a knock suddenly rang at my door.
I walk gentle and very low to open the door. I opened the door looking at the person with a shallow eye.
“Who are you and what do you want?” I asked not recognizing the old man standing infront of me.
“I’m your Uncle Charles and I’m here to pas-s a very important mas-sage to you about our family” he said and I chuckled.
“My dad never said anything about having a brother and If you’re his brother how can you prove it” I said and he took my right arm.
“What are you doing?” I asked after he held my hand.
He pushed my dress up ex-posing my tattoo and I flin-ch.
He brou-ght out his own hand showing it to me and the tattoo I saw on his hand was same as mine.
“We all have it even your father had it in his b©dy” he said and I nodded.
“You can come in uncle” I said ma-king way for him.
He walk in putting his hands behind his back and looking around.
“Have you been seeing ghost lately” he asked and I stare at him in shock.
“How did he know” I asked myself.
“I Know you must be wandering about how I come to know about this things but let me tell you this, I can also see ghost” he said and my expression completely changed.
“But how?” I asked.
“Come sit down, I’ll tell you are about our family and why we are able to see those things” he said as he sat on my be-d.

After I woke up from comer, I remembered all the things that had happened to me while I was in that long sleep that seems like forever.
The first thing I did was to make sure Freddie goes to jail for using Illegal do¢v-ments to get my properties.
He was but behind bars for all the things {lied} he had done to me and as for that wicked girl called Gloria, I made sure her life bec@m£ frustrated to the extent she started begging for forgiveness.
All my properties were returned to me and my life was back to normal but there was one thing I nee-ded to do and that was to find Charles.
I took out one of my cars and drove to his place. Immediately I got there,
all the memories of I living there kept flashing over my mind.
All the happy moments I spent there made me smile while walking to his door.
I knock at the door hoping to hear him open up and at that same point I was afraid that he may not live there anymore.
The door got opened up and I looked at the figure from down to his face.
“You’re back and alive ” he said with so much excitement over his face and immediately hvgged me ti-ghtly.
“I’ve missed you” he said still holding on to me.
“Don’t worry, this time I’ve come for good and I’m not ganna ever leave you again” I said as tears of joy swingle down my cheeks.
“I love you so so much Charles” I said after he had dis£ngaged from the hvge and staring at me happily.
“I love you too miss Carmen” he said and k!$$£d me.
I chuckled as he st©pped k!ss!ngme and held my hand.
“Let’s go inside” he said and I nodded following him.
