As soon as I stepped of the podium, my friends rushed to me. All invited gueast were busy chilling while enjoying the refreshments.
“Your English has gotten better”complemented Ethan.
“Well, what do you expect from someone who’ve spend weeks in America?”said Nathaniel.
“Come on guys. But seriously am happy that I’ve seen you again guys”I said and just then I saw Missy and other girls approaching Courtney, I could not hear their conversation but am sure it’s nothing good.
In no time Missy poured jui-ce on Courtney’s dress and few seconds later Courtney run out of the hall.
“Micheal,are you listening?”asked Ethan.
“Guys, plea-se excuse me for a bit”I said while walking away.
I followed Courtney and she entered into the ladies bathroom.
Am sure she is really heartbroken. What did those girls say to her?
I asked one of the workers to find me some cloths for her to change in since her dress is all messed up.
After like 5 minutes, she come out of the bathroom.
“Courtney “I called and she stood like a statue, not even looking at me
I walk towards her and handed her the bag.
“,I think you might nee-d this”I said and was to walk away when she hold my hand.
“Micheal,”she called and I st©pped but didn’t face her.
“What?”I said.” Ooh, perhaps do you think that when I said I have forgotten and forgive the people for treating me bad you were included?”I asked facing her and she swallowed ha-rd .
“I know that I committed a grave sin and I don’t nee-d to be forgiven, plea-se find a place in your heart and forgive my father for s£nding you out of our house like that. It’s all my fault”she said in between sobs, without facing me.
“What will change ?we-ther your father chased us out or not,what will change? The wound that you put in my heart is always fresh,not even once have I considered forgiving you or your father. Let this be the last time you ask for forgiveness coz I will never forgive you, for the rest of my life”I shook her hand off and talk few stepped away.
“Micheal!!”she called with a bitter voice ,I turned and she was on her knees grinding her teeths as if she were cold, her whole b©dy was trembling.
There were less than ten people witnessing the scene.
“Micheal,plea-se…I cannot live without you? I did you wrong Micheal,but the truth is,without you am nothing,”

I am now putting everything on the line, my pride, my shame, my honor and everything. I don’t care about the people that are watching us. If I miss this chance, I might really kill myself.
“Micheal!”I called and slowly went on my knees,my breath felt as if it will seize any moment. I could not think straight anymore.
“Micheal!”I called again as h0t tears stream down my eyes and Micheal faced me . Myl-ips were trembling.
“plea-se,…I know that I wronged you..plea-se Micheal, forgive me,I cannot live without you,I cannot breath without you. Micheal,am nothing without you. plea-se don’t do this to me”I said while crying ha-rd .
Micheal stood there like a statue just looking at me as if what am saying is garbage.
“plea-se,..plea-se Micheal. I beg you in the name of our late mothers, I beg you in the name of your late mom Micheal. Remeber you promised me,you promised me Micheal,you promised that your will always be by my side. plea-se Micheal,look at me once again give me a second chance”I pleaded while holding my messed up dress ti-ghtly.
“Don’t! I repeat don’t dare mention my mom with that your dirtyl-ips. ” He run his f!nger in his hair.
“Promise? who broke the promise first? Courtney, the same way your pleading to me, it’s the same way I pleaded with you not to do the stupid thing you did months ago and now your here telling me that you cannot breath without me?Gosh,you really piss me off. Back then,I could not even live without you,but now,your history.”he said and my world crumbled. ” Looking at you makes me want to throw up. Even if you cut yourself in pieces,I will never forgive you. If you cannot breath without me,then just go ahead and die!!”he said and my heart st©pped beating for a moment. Micheal just said I should go and die.
“I don’t even know why am wasting my time talking to you. Courtney Andrea, I Micheal Roche has nothing to do with you,even if you st©p breathing,it’s non of my concern. Excuse me”he said and walked away,I could not cry anymore,my tears were away from me. I want to cry but tears can’t respect me anymore. Even tears has turned their back on me?
Just then some girls approached me while laughing.
“Did you hear that girls? The almighty miss Andrea will never be forgiven till Micheal die”Missy said and they all laughed.”Micheal,plea-se wait for me”Missy said and followed Micheal inside the hall.
Micheal just said I should die. A lot of people has told me to die but I never took it to heart. But with Micheal it’s different. If he loathe me that much and If that will make him happy, then I will really kill myself.
I cleaned my tears and walked into the hall. I looked around the buffet and finally I saw shrimp dish the food that am allergic to.
I took a de-ep breath before gr-abbing a plate and dishes out a few of them and was about to shove some of them into my mouth when someone took the plate away from me.

what on Earth have I just done? Am sure that my words hurt her a lot. But I just could not forgive her that easily. What if she really try to kill herself?
I just couldn’t concentrate anymore to the extent that I thought of going back outside to check on her.
Just as I was to take a step towards the exit door, Courtney entered and walked straight to the buffet.
She looked like a walking ghost and not a human. Picked a plate and start moving from one cheffing dish to another, finally she st©pped and picked up a cheffing spooon and digged something into her plate.
Wait, is that not shrimp? What ok Earth is she trying to do? Perhaps,is she trying to really kill herself?
She took a de-ep breath and was about to shove some shrimp in her mouth when I rushed and took the plate away from hher.
“What in Earth are to trying to do?”I yelled at her.
“You told me just to die. Give me the shrimp”she said without even looking at me.
“Are you crazy.”I asked.
“You told me to die!!”she fired back.
“Fine, you can have the plate. I will find another means to kill myself”she said while walked out of the hall.
Gosh, this girl is really frustrating me. How can she try to kill herself only because I’ve told her to do so? Is she crazy?
“Micheal,are you okey?”asked Missy as she approached me .
“We will talk later”I said as I followed Courtney.
I searched for her at the bathroom but she was not there. My heart is not at ease, that girl might really kill herself. I went out to the car park but still, she was nowhere to be seen. Just then I looked up the mansion to the roof t©p and alack!! I saw someone standing at the edge of the roof.
“Courtney ?”I said as I rushed back inside and took the stairs.

I sawe Courtney taking the stairs and I knew that she is up to something. In no time I saw Micheal looking so frustrated, moving around the mansion. I knew that he was looking for Tiny. I wasted no time but informed James and in no time, we were on our way to the rooft©p.
I cannot let Micheal and Courtney make up.

Courtney st©p!!”I said as soon as I opened the rooft©p door.
She turned and looked at me like a sheep re-ady to be slaughtered before facing the car park and made an attempt to jump but I was fast enough to pu-ll her back. She fell in my arms.
“ouch!!” I mumbled in pain as I sat up straight.
“For Christ sake Courtney, are you that stupid? How could you think of jumping on the rooft©p only because I told you to die? Do you really want to die?”I yelled at her.
“Because you told me to die. Because it’s you that told me to die. I thought you will be happy once I die”she said without even showing remorse over her actions. I run my f!ngersin my hair in frustration.
“we-ther your death will make me happy or not, how could you just follow my orders just like that”I said.
“Because I love you”she said and I was short of words.
“Because I love you”she repeated as more tears streamed down her eyes. I felt so weak and didnt know what to say .
“Let me die, allow me to go and die!”she whined like a little baby.
“Like seriously Courtney, if I allow you to die, who will be disturbing my peace? Who will be wearing bu-mshort and dance like a crazy girl before me? Who will enter my be-droom while am showering only to look at my b©dy? Who will be a mother to me? who will ..Just.”I run my f!ngersin my head like a mad person as tears start streaming down my eyes from nowhere , gosh this is crazy.
“Micheal”Tiny said while holding my hand.
I hold both her hands and took a de-ep breath while looking straight into her eyes.
“Tiny, do you know how I will feel if you die? All these while I was happy and being stubborn knowing that your alive somewhere. I knew that I could see you when I want to see you and I could talk harshly to you as whenever I want. I knew that I would see you smile and cry coz your alive. That’s how I managed to hold myself till now. Do you know how I would feel if you really die?Have you ever thought how much pain it will be not to see you again? Not to see you cry, smile and tell at me? Do you know how much it will hurt knowing that I won’t see you again whenever I want?I won’t yell at you whenever I want? If you wan to die, then let us for together”I said looking straight in her eyes.
“Mike, why are you being like this?”Courtney asked in between confusion.
“Are you asking because you do not know? It’s because I still love you dummy!!!”I said and she was mute.
“Micheal”she called and just then I pu-ll-ed her in my arms.
“I still love you Courtney. I really love you from the bo-ttomof my heart. plea-se don’t die,I am sorry for all the harsh words I’ve said to you. I am sorry for not forgiving you earlier. it’s was all my fault. I now it’s because of my stupidity that things we’re like that between us. If I had listened to you back then, things would never had turned out like this”I said hvgging her ti-ght.
“No, Micheal, I went overboard,I closed the line and for causing you pain, don’t ever forgive me”she said.
“If I don’t forgive you,who else will I forgive in this world?” I dis£ngage form the hvg.
Before I could say another word,Tiny pressed herl-ips on mine.
