“Sophia are you serious or trying to pu-ll my legs?” Bryan squeaked with a hvge smile while I stare at him like he had grown two heads, I just don’t want to believe he is really talking with Sophia..
I heard coming back and I don’t really know where she is coming to…here??
I don’t think it’s possible…
“Sophia do you even know that my love for…”
“Aaaagggghhhh!!!” I squealed loudly with grimace as I pressed my stomach..
Bryan paused his speech and turned to me..
“Are you alright???” He asked and I screamed again waging my head…
He arched his brow and was confused whether to complete his call or attend to me..
“Can you help your self to the room and take your drug, I’ll be there in a jiffy..” He muttered
I shrilled and fell on the floor..
“What???….my dear Sophia, I’ll call you in a minute plea-se..” He mumbled into the phone..
“Who is that girl there???” I heard her voice from the phone
“Ohh, she is a new house help employed by my mother” he replied dryly..
“Really??..but, Bryan I guess you still loves me right?…I’m coming back because I had thought about us thor0ûghly, I recalled the past memories, I tried waving it off only to find out that I couldn’t..I found out I couldn’t st©p loving you” Sophia’s voice sounded s£nding rage into me, I was damn angry not just for those words but for the fact that Bryan was listening to her and was even smiling…
“You can’t tell how…..
” Bryan do you hate me this much!!!” I cried ma-king him flin-ch…
He flung his phone away immediately and crouch to where I lay..
“I’m very sorry…” He muttered helping me up into his arm..
He carried me to my room, my eyes was closed as I l@yon his arm, I feels really sad, my heart was damn heavy as I was even close to crying..
That call did well in shattering me, not only that Sophia was coming back, Bryan himself still loves her and can’t wait to have her back…
Does this means I’m nothing?..does this entails that Bryan never had a glint of feelings for me??..but seriously, would I be forgotten???
Aaagghh..I think I’m getting insane??..all this is ma-king my head pound, I wish it’s all a dream…

“You are going to conclude the discussion with her right?..you are going to continue talking to her” I sulked
“Huh??..what do you mean?” He asked
“Is Sophia coming back here to be with you?” I asked slowly feeling the pain sipping in…
“It sounds sound so untrue but, it is really happening, she couldn’t stay without me!!..I knew it from the beginning!!” He squeaked ma-king me feel like breaking his head..
“How sure are you that she isn’t having an interior motive?..what about Austin?..can she suddenly leave him just like that?..if she couldn’t stay without you, then..she wouldn’t have hurt you that badly…” I muttered staring up the ceiling..
“I un-derstand how you feel, I know you are really crushing on me, well..I don’t see it bad, every lady does it and you are even lucky, we are living together, many ladies die for this opportunity” he smiled and I sat up..
“Why do I feel like you don’t really like Sophia that much?” I said ma-king him flin-ch
“What are you saying!” He asked,
I stepped out of the be-d and walked to where he was standing…
His gaze was just on me, I smiled and moved my hand on his hair..
“What are you doing??” He asked with a sneer
“I can re-ad your mind…I have the power to re-ad the mind…I re-ad your mind when you felt angry seeing jace holding me pas-sionately, I re-ad your mind when you felt jealous seeing me seat with jace…I…”
“St©p!!!..why are you always saying absurd things??..who in this world can re-ad the mind..?”
“We are going to school together tomorrow right?” I asked placing my hand on my w@!st…”
“I don’t think so…I nee-d to finish talking to Sophia, who knows she may be coming tomorrow!” He chirped walking away immediately..

Is he stupid to think I’ll let him be with Sophia?..who is Sophia??..Rose is gonna shatter what ever they calk relationsh!p, she has Austin,let her manage that one while I get along with Bryan..
What kind of obstacle is this girl at this moment when I was getting glimmer of hope..
I shrugged and walked away to the chef and maid’s room, I wonder why they hadn’t walked out of their room all this while…
I got in and saw the three of them pla-ying a game of some kind..
Immediately I walked in, they all paused and stared at me..
The chef was a middle aged woman while the other maids are my age grade.
They were staring at me in anticipation for me to introduce myself but I think they don’t know me..
They will be the first to introduce..
“Who are you!!” One of the maid finally asked
“At last, one of you talked first” I laughed moving closer..
“Are you the new house help?”
“Wow, she looks too beautiful to be a house help” another whispered
“My name is Jane, this is Mary and our chef is Marian” the same girl who commented me added with a crazy smile..
“My name is Rose, I’m here as the new house help and Bryan’s help…” I introduced myself with a hvge smile
“Huh??..Bryan’s help??” They all chorused glancing at themselves
“Oh yes, let me gist you all, I and Bryan are clas-smates and friends, close to d@t!ng…in fact we are in love!!!” I squeaked leaving them stunned..
“You and who is in love??” We all heard a hoarse voice behind, it was Bryan…
They all stood up abruptly and bowed their heads in respect while I stood upright staring at them with a sneer…
I looked up to Bryan and he frowned his face..
“Hey bow!!” Marian ordered
“I don’t un-derstand…”
“Do you want to get fired!!..how dare you disrespect your boss, bow and ask for forgiveness!!” They all kept saying to me and I swear I couldn’t hold the laughter..
“Bryan you are here for me right?” I asked walking closer to him..
“Don’t dare come closer, have you suddenly forgot who you are??.. Hey, you are my housemaid!” He stated
“Yeah, I know my dear..” I smiled and held his palm..
“Let’s leave here” I whispered pu-lling his hand.
“Geez…Rose!!” He called out
“Yes my love” I laughed
“Why can’t I even get angry with you even when you are annoying!!” He gr-unted
Bryan’s POV
“Its because you love me…” She replied and I flin-ched at her words, it just seemed like she said something de-ep…
I found myself pausing my pace to think on the words, could it be that I love her?..is that why I couldn’t hurt her even when she gets me pissed up…
“What are you thinking of?” She asked when she found out I wasn’t walking with her
I stared at her straight into her eyes, it was really glistening, I could see how pure and innocent it look..
“Have you ever fall in love with a guy?” I asked
“Huh?..oh, I don’t think so, I haven’t loved any man except you” she replied with a smile covering her face with her palm..
I Walker closer to her and noticed something like a n£¢klace around her n£¢k..
I pu-ll-ed it out only to see my pics beneath, at the back…”I love you” was boldly inscribe-d.
“Who made that?” I asked
“Even when I hadn’t got any hope of ever seeing you, I still loved you and long for a day like this, I am one of that fans that couldn’t do without your song…I thought I just loved your song but…I found out I am de-eply In love with you even when you may not…” Her voice went slowly un-der her breath as she bend her head low…
I could see her eyes get we-t…
“Sophia would be coming back in a month time…” I said out and she looked up to me…
A drop of tears fell off her eyes, I could see hurt…

“Sophia would ruin our friendsh!pright?” She asked with a quiveringl-ips
“No, she isn’t that bad, we are friends and would still be even when she returns” I replied..
“I feel like I would be forgotten when she arrives, you would..not have time for me, only her, you would spend more time with her, I’d be a house help!!” She sulked and sniffed with tears rolling down..
“But…Rose, don’t you know?..aren’t you aware at the beginning??..she is the only lady I…..”
“Its okay, I’ve heard that enough…” She interjected and head to her room…
I felt my heart grow heavy, I just saw in her eyes that pure emotions.
I felt pained seeing her cry, but I don’t really know why it pained her this much, she should have known that I alre-ady had a girlfriend…
Gosh!!!
I nee-d to meet her, I am not at ease seeing her cry..
Slowly, I walked to her room there she l@yon the be-d crying with her face buried into the pillow…
“Rose…” I called and she rushed at me in a ti-ght hvg..
I couldn’t push her away, some how, I just felt calm,
“You love me more than Sophia right???” She asked peering into my eyes..
I opened my eyes to state a “no” only to find out that my heart was saying the opposite, I couldn’t say no..
I couldn’t shook my head, her eyes seemed to be piercing into my eyes…
“I can’t love you more than Sophia because she has the voice I nee-d even though you may be more beautiful…” I finally sighed
“Can I sing for you?” She smiled

Bryan’s POV
“Can I sing for you?” She muttered un-der her breath…
Huh??
“Can you even sing?..do you have the voice?” I asked with an arched brow, she took a de-ep breath before nodding…
“Even if you have the voice, it can’t be like that of Sophia you know??..st©p being too obsessed!!” I sighed and I could see her swallow ha-rd ..
“Rose, I can say you are lucky to be my friend when I couldn’t even talk to any other lady, you are really lucky to be my friend, I know Sophia alone but you made me act different” I muttered
“Do you know why I c@m£ to that school even when I knew the implications, It was because of you..Bryan can I bear seeing you with Sophia?” She shrugged sighing de-eply…
“Sophia is my girlfriend and you are my house help!!..keep it that way and suit yourself!!” I stated bluntly walking away..
Rose’s POV
A short laughter escaped myl-ips as he walked away, Sophia would be coming back in a month time, till then…
I turned back only to see the maid and chef staring at me in awe..
“Why those stares??” I asked
“Are you really a house help?..i doubt it!!” Jane was the first to squeak
“You don’t act like he is your boss..have you met him before?..like..are you both in a relationsh!p?” Mary asked
I sighed and slumped on the couch without giving any reply..
“It seems like Bryan likes her, I wonder why he hasn’t yell at her a bit even when she showed disrespect!” Marian shrugged
“Do you think he loves me!!” I snapped jumping out of the couch..
“What else can be said when he is all soft to you, you didn’t even bow when he walked in and he did nothing!..you held his hand..both of you walked out..oh gosh!!” Jane g@sped waging her head bringing smiles from myl-ips..
“Bryan is a cold hearted boss, he detests ladies ma-king him fire many of them leaving just three of us, he hates the sight of us, that’s why we stays indoor when not at work” Miriam breathed
“We fears him because he doesn’t smile at all, always frowning, it all started after Sophia Hus girlfriend jilted him” Mary whispered
“How could you make such a man love you???” Jane asked curiously
“Love???…did he love me?” I asked in a low tone
“It is clear, that is why he is easy on you, wow!!..you are such a lucky girl..” Jane squeaked
“I don’t think he loves me, he just told me that Sophia is coming back…”
“What??????” They all screamed in unison with their eyes wi-de-ned
I could see shock written all over their face, it was later contorted to fear..
“Are you serious??” They asked
“Why do you all look fretful??” I asked peering at them
“Sophia the sadist?..ohh!” Jane hissed and walked away angrily, Mary followed her immediately, there was de-ep hatred in their eyes
“Why are they leaving?” I asked Miriam
“That name chased them away, Sophia shouldn’t return here..oh yuck!!” She spited with a grimace
“It pains me that Bryan wants her back, I really love him, why would he accept that girl after all she did to him!!” I snorted plopping down on the couch.
“Sophia would throw you out like a piece of trash if she hears that you have a glint of feeling for Bryan, it’s better you kill those feelings and face your work as a house help” she shrugged
“I have to make Bryan fall in love with me, plea-se what does he really likes?..what does Sophia do that gives him joy?” I asked b!tt!g my index f!nger.
“He loves a girl that would keep him busy, well, I don’t think you can did anything or else he got some little feelings” she breathed
“Sophia is returning a month later, Bryan should be mine before then, I’m off to his room, he should kill me or love me..” I laughed rushing to his room..
Who is Sophia?
An obstacle..Austin should be enough for her, she has voice and then??..can she sing more than me?..I don’t even know!
I can’t even wait for that day when I would sing for Bryan, why would he even judge my voice without listening…
He has alre-ady condemn it, I can’t even believe he said I was obsessed but who cares… At least he is talking to me freely unlike other ladies..
I picked a broom before heading forward to his room..
I knocked but there was no reply, I knocked and knocked and knocked but still yet no one said anything…
I pushed the door but it was locked..really?..he doesn’t want me in??
“Hello Bryan can I come in!!!” I shouted from outside
“No!!!!!” He shouted back..
“Why?!!!!”
“You are not Sophia!!!!!”
“I am!!!!!..open the door and check!!!” I shouted
“Are you alright??..how can you be Sophia with that Rose voice!!!”
“Come and check!!!”
“Your voice is enough evidence!!”
“Would you leave me out here??..I’ll cry!!”
“Cry???.. How does it even trouble me??..go and clean the house!!!!” He shouted
“I’m here to clean your room!!!”
“Don’t clean my room!!..go elsewhere!!”
“You are really s£nding me away??” I screamed
“What about it??..Sophia is my girlfriend not you!!” He replied
“I’ll stay here till you are re-ady to bring me in, I have something to say to you, I can’t believe you are now leaving me out here all alone…” I stated
He kept quiet..
“Bryan I’m serious now, if you don’t open this door at the count of three, I’m gonna leave this house forever, I would leave and never return..you don’t even care how I feels..” I sighed
“1..2….3!!” I counted
What??..he didn’t open the door, gosh!!..Rose sorry for you!!
“I’m leaving!!..guess you never wanted me…”
I turned to leave taking three step forward but felt someone’s grip on my palm ma-king me pause my step..
“Rose..you are leaving to where?” Bryan asked
“Home…I can’t stay here receiving your snubs, you don’t have an idea how it hurts to be abandoned..” I sniffed
“Come in…” He shrugged and drew me into his room..
“Why did you left me out there, I hate you for that!!!”
“Why did you want to come in here at first?” He asked sitting on the be-d while I stood there..
“I was bored and felt the de-sire to be beside you” I replied
“I’m your boss, you got no right to……”
“Enough..I’ll leave If you want!” I snapped
“Well…I can’t actually wait for her to come back!” He smiled picking up a picture albu-m
“Sophia?..”
“Yes..”
“Can you think about all she did to you?..she treated you like nothing, how can you love her so easily again!!” I snorted
“We are just meant for each other…” He smiled hvgging the pics to his che-st..

Just then, we heard a knock on the door…
“Who is there?” Bryan asked with a growl
Bryan’s POV
The door was opened immediately and jace walked in..

“Hey, dude what’s up??” I greeted with a cheerful smile which seeped away as Rose quic-kly ran into him with a ti-ght pas-sionate hvg..

“My beautiful Rose, how are you!” He chirped ma-king her chuckle into his che-st..
“I’m fine dear, I just miss you a lot!” Rose muttered bringing a hvge smile on his face..
He pe-cked her forehead then her cheeks ma-king her giggle as she blus-h..
My face grimaced as I watched, I can’t believe what I was feeling, jealousy?..anger?..but why all these feelings!!!
“Hey buddy, whats up!” He greeted me with a smile holding her palm softly…
I swallowed ha-rd before forcing out a smile..
“Hmm, so what brou-ght you….” My voice went low as his hand went over Rose w@!st with her head resting on his shoulder, their b©dy was so close..
Normally, it shouldn’t trouble but, strange enough, that act was ma-king me unease…
My mouth gaped..
“Rose I hope he isn’t treating you badly?” He asked with a sweet smile
“Hey why is your arm around her w@!st?” I found my mouth asking ma-king them stare at me, Geez!!..I regret saying those words, it clearly makes me look like I was jealous, it would make them think I love Rose and doesn’t want her with Jace..gosh!!
“Why the question?..do yo feel unease?..wow, is it what I’m thinking??” Jace tea-sed ma-king roll my eyes at him before slumping on the be-d..
They both held hand as he led her to the couch where they both sat all together, they were really closed that her leg was tou-ching his…argggh!!..why I’m I thinking about that, not like Rose is my girlfriend!

“She is a house help..besides, Sophia is returning back to me!!!!” I squealed smiling wi-dely..
“Then I think you don’t really care about her..” He said peering at me..

I wasn’t thinking of pushing her away, I can’t even remember she is a commoner, my arm went across her own b©dy as I savour the feelings..
I don’t think I can let her go, her pres£nce makes me glad..
“Bryan I can’t believe I’m hvgging you right now!” She whispered
“I can’t also believe I allowed you hvg me, why can’t I push you away” I muttered..
“It is getting dark, I would be leaving the two lover birds” Jace laughed ma-king me also smile..
“If I treat you well, you would help make Sophia like me when she returns right?” I muffled

“She said she was still angry with me, I would have to make her like me again, I just think you can say something to her so she would….”
“St©p…let’s go and sing, I swear you don’t know how my voice sounds like” she smiled sweetly..

We both held hand and was about leaving when my voice rang…
I picked it up from the table only to see a video call from Sophia..
Wow!!!..my heart leaped for joy,
“Hello…” I smiled into the screen as i cli-cked on the green bu-tton..
“Who are you standing with?..Her name is Rose right?” She seethed glaring at Rose beside me..
“Who is she?..Sophia right??” Rose sneered rolling her eyes in detest..
“Bryan what?…”
“She is my house help!” I snapped
“It looks like you both are getting along, you don’t really want me back, I think I should leave…..”
“No!!..plea-se don’t!!..plea-se!” I pleaded
“Okay then, I would be returning next week” she said..
What???..that would be great!!!!
I can’t wait!
“Austin and I had broke up, I’m sorry for breaking your heart, we can start again” she smiled ma-king me k!ssthe screen..
“Sophia you are the best, finally I would start singing again, your voice gives me inspirations.. I love you!!!”
“Yes dearie, let do it!!!” She smiled broadly
“Yes!!!”
“But…I feel some how about that girl beside you..” She whined..
“Oh, she isn’t what you think..I guess you would like her so easily” I smiled
“So next week, expect my return” she said and hung the call..
I jumped with a loud squeak..
“She Is coming back!!!”
Rose’s POV
She is coming where??.. I’m sure it isn’t here, next week??..
May your flight be postponed, may you fall sick for some month.
Aahhh!!..what other prayer should I say to this obstacle??
“Sophia I can’t wait to see….”
“Aiish..my eyes!!!” I screamed immediately just to shut him up..
“Huh?..what happened to your eyes?” He asked

“Get off there!!”
“No…I’m feeling sleepy and…my room is creepy you can’t believe it is haunted” I whispered
“Haunted??”
“Yes, by ghost, I couldn’t sleep last night!..let me stay here, we are going to school tomorrow which is Monday so..”
“Rose are you expecting me to sleep with you?” He asked surprised
“I’m afraid of dying…” I laughed covering my face with the duvet..
“Is this a house help?.. I’m not sure, how had she helped the house, I guess she is here to prick me, that’s what Rose flower does..” He muttered and l@yat the far end..
“You would fall off from the be-d when sleep comes” I giggled
“Its better…” He mumbled and cover his whole b©dy with the same duvet..
I drew it off from his b©dy…
“Are you crazy??”
“Come closer and st©p running from your fate!” I chuckled
“Fate??..you??” He laughed and moved closer to get the duvet giving me the opportunity to wra-p my arm around his b©dy…
“Rose flower!!..what are you doing???”
“Oh yes dear, I’m feeling cold, let’s just stay this way!!” I whispered with a sweet smile..
Bryan’s POV
Normally, I should push her away but to my surprising, I love the way her b©dy l@pped on me, I didn’t even know when I also wra-pped my arm around her as we sle-pt that way…
Gosh!!!..what I’m I feeling for this girl?
