Nina: So Andrew, When should we go to the hospital to visit Morena?
Andrew: Later in the evening maybe. Although it depends if I’ll be free
Nina: Okay. (sighs loudly) I REALLY feel bad for her.
Andrew: Don’t worry, She’ll get better.
(Rafael enters the kitchen)
Nina: Hi Rafael.
(Rafael turns to look at her with scorn)
Nina: You don’t have to act hostile towards me. I’m not the one who broke your heart.
Rafael: (angrily) What the fv¢k did you just say?!
Andrew: Nina be quiet. (To Rafael) Ignore her bro.
(Rafael goes to the counter and Andrew walks up to him)
Andrew: You know…I expected you to have gone to visit Morena.
(Rafael stays silent)
Andrew: Look bro, Sometimes in life, People disappoint us. But that doesn’t mean we should be angry about it forever. Just learn to forgive.
Rafael: (sighs)
Andrew: I know that’s gonna be difficult….Morena is still your friend and she still cares about you but you have to un-derstand that she can’t f0rç£ herself to fall in love with you just so you can be happy…

(Pascaline enters the kitchen)
Pascaline: Nina, You have a client.
Nina: Oooh, That must be Mrs Kendricks.
(Nina leaves the kitchen and goes to meet her client)
Pascaline: Rafael, What’s wrong with you? You’ve been so moody lately?
Rafael: (smiles) I’m just working throu-gh some issues. But don’t worry. I’ll deal with them.
(Meanwhile)
(Nina goes to meet her client)
Nina: Good afternoon Mrs Kendricks, How’ve you been?
Mrs Kendricks: I’ve been doing just fine.
Nina: Okay, So may I….
(Cecilia interrupts her)
Cecilia: (To Mrs Kendricks) Good afternoon ma, You’ll be having a plate of French fries, one veggie burger and a soda to go, Right?
Mrs Kendricks: (To Cecilia) Absolutely.
Cecilia: Okay, Your order will be with you in about 7 minutes.
Mrs Kendricks: (smiles) No worries.
(Cecilia goes into the kitchen)
Nina: (confused) What the hell just happened….Mrs Kendricks, Why did you let her take your order?
Mrs Kendricks: Don’t be upset Nina, Cecilia alre-ady had my reservations beforehand.
Nina: Ohh…
Mrs Kendricks: I’m sorry…
(Nina angrily goes into the kitchen)
Nina: Cecilia, What’s the meaning of what you just did?
(Cecilia hisses at her and continues cooking)
Andrew: Nina, Calm down.
Nina: No I can’t! Why would she steal my client?!
Andrew: Remember the “No fighting policy”? Just ignore her.
Nina: I have tried my best to ignore her all these while but this time, I won’t!
(Cecilia turns to face her)
Cecilia: (boldly) And what do you want to do about it? Come and fight me let Mr Rodriguez FIRE you! Fool! (hisses)
Andrew: (To Nina) Don’t worry, More clients will come eventually.
(Andrew leads an enraged Nina out of the kitchen)
Cecilia: (about Nina) I told you I’ll get my revenge and this is it….I haven’t even started with you, When I do start, You’ll be bleeding from your eyes. Idiot! (hisses)
(Meanwhile)
(At the hospital)
Daniel: Hey babe.
Morena: (smiles) Hi Daniel.
Daniel: I brou-ght you pres£nts…
Morena: Awwnnn…Thanks
(Daniel drops the pres£nts on the table)
Daniel: So how’re you feeling today?
Morena: (smiles) Better. Thanks.
Daniel: Morena, Don’t tell me you’re still gonna go back to that house even after what happened?
Morena: Where else would I go?
Daniel: You can come and live with me. I’ll take care of you.
Morena: I would have but living with a man I’m not married to is totally wrong.
Daniel: Ohh right.
Morena: I’ve been thinking of saving up some money to rent an ap@rtment.
Daniel: Don’t worry, I’ll help you in doing that.
Morena: Don’t stress, Daniel.
Daniel: (smiles) I insist!
Morena: (smiles) Hmm, Ok.
Daniel: I’ll just look for a conducive place for you to stay.
Morena: (thinks) But if I leave, My dad would inquire my whereabouts and he’ll be angry if he finds out that I left my Uncle’s house.
Daniel: Then you’ll tell him all that your aunt has been doing to you.
Morena: And that’ll definitely cause a rift between him and my uncle… (sighs) I’m torn.
(Later that day)
(At Chuks restaurant)
(A man enters the restaurant and Cecilia rushes to him)
Cecilia: Good day sir, May I take your order?
Man: I’ll have a large plate of macaroni and cheese.
Cecilia: Okay. Your order will be with you shortly
Man: Alright.
Cecilia: You’re Alicia’s client right?
Man: Yeah but i don’t want her to take my order.
Cecilia: And why is that?
Man: I nee-d a break from her burnt, salty or peppery foods. I want something edible and delicious.
Cecilia: (laughs mockingly) Ohhh I see…
Man: Yeah…
Cecilia: Well you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I’m the best cook here so my food tastes better than anyone else’s.
Man: Okay then.
(In the kitchen)
Alicia: (stretches her calf) Damn! My leg is just fv¢kin’ so-re today.
Rafael: What did you do?
Alicia: Yesterday was leg day. I’m suprised I can still stand.
Rafael: (smiles) You’re a strong woman….But don’t worry, The pain will subside with time.
Alicia: Okay then (looks at him) You awfully cheery today bro, What’s the secret?
Rafael: Just good meals and lots and lots of water.
(Pascaline enters the kitchen just then)
Pascaline: Alicia, You have a client.
Alicia: Okay babe. I’m comin’ (To Rafael) I’ll be right back….
Rafael: Alright.
(Alicia goes to meet the man)
Alicia: Good day sir, May I take your order?
Man: Don’t worry Alicia, Some other lady has taken it?
Alicia: (confused) What other lady?
Man: She’s tall, Her name is Celia or something…
Alicia: (angrily) Cecilia?
Man: Yeah. She’s the one.
Alicia: So sir, You don’t want me to be taking you orders from now on?
Man: Absolutely.
(Alicia angrily goes into the kitchen)
Alicia: Cecilia!
Cecilia: (rudely) What is it?
Alicia: You well aware that man outside is my favorite client right?
Cecilia: And so what?
Alicia: So you know? Why then did you go ahead to take his order?
Cecilia: Well, He complained that the foods you usually make for him are either usually burnt, salty or peppery and he wanted something delicious and appetizing so I had to take his order to make him one of my best clients and to protect the restaurant’s integrity.
Alicia: (furiously) Till you die….Till you die, If you ever repeat this bull$h!t you just did did right now, I’mma beat you up to the extent you’ll ba-rely be able to recognize yourself. bit-ch, Do you hear me? I’MMA BEAT YOU UP!!!
(Alicia angrily shoves Cecilia)

Cecilia: How dare you t©uçh me?!
Alicia: (holds her cheek in anger) Woah, This girl just sl@pped me….Nahh, I’mma kill this bit-ch, I’m gon’ back to jail tonight!
(Alicia swiftly runs to gr-ab a knife while Cecilia goes to gr-ab a fork and they both rush back at each other with their weapons held high. Luckily, Rafael comes in between them, shielding them from each other)
Rafael: (scared) What the heck… Do you guys want to kill yourselves?
Alicia: Bro, I don’t wanna hurt you, GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!
Cecilia: (angrily) Rafael leave her alone, Let her come near me…. (She holds the fork threateningly)
Rafael: St©p THIS!
Alicia: (enraged) St©p what?! I’mma rip this bit-ch to shreds!!!
(Alicia knocks Rafael to the floor and charges towards Cecilia with the knife held ti-ghtly in her grasp, Just then, Pascaline enters the kitchen)
Pascaline: Excuse me, What’s going on in here? What’s all the noise about?
Rafael: (points at Cecilia and Alicia) They wanted to fight.
Pascaline: Fight? Have you guys forgotten that the CEO is on his way here? What happens if he comes in and sees you both fighting? It seems like you two are tired of your jobs right?
(Cecilia and Alicia ignore her)
Rafael: Don’t worry, it won’t happen again.
Pascaline: It’s ok. Go back to your work.
(Pascaline leaves the kitchen)
Rafael: (To Cecilia and Alicia) You both should plea-se calm down…
(Cecilia hisses at Alicia and continues cooking and Alicia is unable to do anything but stare at her with intense anger)
(Afterwards)
(The CEO arrives at the restaurant)
CEO: Good evening everyone.
Everyone: Good evening sir.
CEO: Hmm…I’m only seeing few faces today, Where are the rest?
Rafael: They….
Mr Rodriguez: (interrupts him) They went out for deliveries sir.
CEO: Alright then. (To Mr Rodriguez) See me in the office.
(The CEO and Mr Rodriguez leaves)
Rafael: I wonder why he didn’t want the CEO to know.
Pascaline: (shrugs her shoulders)
(At Uncle Roberto’s house)
Uncle Roberto: So you went to visit Morena yesterday, What did she say?
Aunt Maria: She said she’s forgiven me.
Uncle Roberto: But Maria why…. Why did you subject her to harsh treatments? How would you feel if someone did the same thing to your children?
Aunt Maria: (fake sobs) I’m really sorry, I don’t know what c@m£ over me….
(Just then, Dr Hector calls Uncle Roberto)
Uncle Roberto: Good day Dr Hector.
Dr Hector: (over the phone) Good day Mr Roberto. plea-se I want you to see me at the hospital urgently.
Uncle Roberto: No problem Doctor. We’ll be there soon.
(Dr Hector hangs up)
Aunt Maria: Who was that?
Uncle Roberto: It was Dr Hector, He wants to see us at the hospital.
Aunt Maria: Why?
Uncle Roberto: He didn’t say. Let’s just go!
(Meanwhile)
(At the hospital)
(Nina and Andrew visits Morena)
Morena: (excitedly) Nina! Andrew!
Nina: (smiles) Hiii.
Andrew: Hey Morena…We c@m£ bearing gifts.
(He drops the gifts aside)
Morena: Awwwnnn, That’s so thoughtful of you guys.
Nina: I expected to have seen Daniel here
Morena: Ohh, He left not quite long.
Nina: No wonder.
Morena: So tell me, What’s happening at the restaurant?
Nina: Nothing much, Except that Cecilia’s attitude has wors£ned. She almost got into a fight with Alicia but Rafael separated them. Otherwise it would have been bloody.
Morena: Yeah, How is Rafael?
Andrew: He’s good. Lately, He’s been a little cheery.
(Nina’s phone beeps)
Morena: Duty calls?
Nina: Yeah (sighs) Chuks restaurant will kill us with work. (To Andrew) We have to go now. We have clients to attend to. Bye Morena!
Morena: Bye!
Andrew: Get well soon!
(Meanwhile)
(In the waiting room)
Uncle Roberto: Doctor, You called us to the hospital?
Dr Hector: Yeah, I wanted to let you know that your niece has been responding to treatments really quic-kly and she’ll be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.
Uncle Roberto: (sighs) Thank you so much.
Dr Hector: I’m just doing my job.
Uncle Roberto: We can go in and see her right?
Dr Hector: Definitely.
(Uncle Roberto and Aunt Maria goes to Morena’s ward)
Morena: Good evening uncle, Good evening aunty.
Aunt Maria: Good evening my dear. How is your health?
Morena: Much better.
Uncle Roberto: We have good news. The doctor said you’ll be discharged tomorrow.
Morena: That is good to hear.
Aunt Maria: (sobs) I’m really happy you forgave me.
Morena: Its fine aunt, Old things have pas-sed away.
Uncle Roberto: (To Aunt Maria) We should go home and start preparing for her return.
Aunt Maria: Okay darling.
Uncle Roberto: We’ll be leaving now. Take care Morena!

(In the Office)
CEO: (confused) Rodriguez, What’s up with your poor management lately? I mean the restaurant’s funds has reduced drastically. What’re you using all the money to do?
Rodriguez: I’m sorry sir, There are so many messes in the restaurant that I nee-ded to clear. And it cost a lot of money.
CEO: Really?
Mr Rodriguez: Yes sir. I would’ve informed you earlier but I thought it’ll be better to handle it myself
CEO: And by “handle it yourself”, You mean squander the restaurant funds?
Mr Rodriguez: No sir. I’m really sorry sir.
CEO: You better sit up or else I’ll fire you and replace you with someone else.
Mr Rodriguez: Yes sir.
CEO: Go and check on the cooks downstairs.
Mr Rodriguez: Alright sir
(Mr Rodriguez leaves the office and goes to the kitchen)
Mr Rodriguez: (suprised) Daniel, Nina and Andrew aren’t back yet?
Rafael: No Sir. Its just me, Cecilia and Alicia.
Mr Rodriguez: Okay then. Get back to work
(Mr Rodriguez attempts to leave when Cecilia calls him)
Cecilia: Mr Rodriguez, plea-se I nee-d to tell you something important…
Mr Rodriguez: What is it?
Cecilia: It’s about….
(Alicia intentionally clears her throat which makes Mr Rodriguez and Cecilia to look at her)
Mr Rodriguez: (To Cecilia) Is it about the restaurant’s business?
Cecilia: No…
Mr Rodriguez: Then it’s not important. Look, I nee-d to go now. I’m having an important discussion with the CEO
Cecilia: But Sir…
(When Mr Rodriguez ignores her and leaves the kitchen, Alicia bur-sts into laughter)
Cecilia: (To Alicia) Idiot!
(Cecilia angrily hisses at Alicia as she walks past her)
Rafael: Calm down Alicia. Just ignore her. Remember the CEO is upstairs.
Alicia: (without any emotion) No worries bro….
