❤CLAIRE’S P.O.V❤
“Who is that girl Liam?” I asked the moment we got inside.
“I told you it’s nobody” he replied ru-b-bing his face with the back of his palm.
“But you two were hugging”
“Claire please..I told you already it’s nobody…please I’m tired just leave me” he looks annoyed.
“Alright..I’m sorry you know it’s not my fault..I just can’t bear seeing some cheap sluts around you” I took a sit beside him but he stood up and went to the fridge to take a bottle of water.
“Why are you here?” He asked calmly.
“Liam…?” I said going closer to him.and he dropped the water on the table and faced me.
“What is it?” He asked and I moved closer to him with our faces just an inch away from each other, we could feel each other’s breathe and I was close to kis-sing him when he moved his face away.
“I’m sorry” he said and I felt disappointed. Liam and I have been friends for a long time, I’ve always stayed by his side and never once abandoned him in times of need. I’ve always tried my possible best to help him in anyway I can, I love him so much and he knows very well too. I just can’t un-derstand why he can’t love me back..Is it that ha-rd to reciprocate the feelings to me.
“I’m leaving tomorrow” I said breaking the silence.
“I’m going to New Zealand for a project and will be gone for almost three weeks ” I completed and he just nodded.
“I’ll miss you Liam” I gave him a hug.
“I’ll take you to the airport, call me when you’re leaving” was all he could say…seriously I felt like my heart was ripping apart, couldn’t he just said he’ll miss me too.
“Okay…I gotta go” I disengage from the hug.
“See you tomorrow then” he said and went to his room. He’s really so mean I thought as I carried my bag and left the house.
❤ANNA’S P.O.V❤
I Stretched lazily and rolled over to the other side of the bed. My eye caught Liam’s wallet..right I should return it..I got up from the bed and dragged myself lazily to the bathroom..brushed my teeth..took a long shower I haven’t had in a long time now. Then I clad myself in a pink crop top and jean and let my hair down freely. Satisfied with my look I took the wallet and carried my bag.
“After returning this wallet I’ll look for a job” I said to myself then went out of the room. My Aunt already prepared breakfast and I took my time eating to my satisfaction before leaving the house. I was on my way to Liam’s house when I saw a woman lying on the floor gasping for air and I immediately ran to her.
“Ma’am are you okay?” I asked holding her.
“In..in..ha..haler..car…ba…bag…?” She gasped oh no she’s must be Astmatic. I quickly took her bag in the car and search for the nebulizer and give it to her. She quickly put it in her mouth and inhaled for some while before she became normal.
“Are you okay now?” I asked
helping her up.
“Yes…Thank you so much miss”
“By chance are you going home?”
“Yes…I’m going back home?”
“Then that’s great” I helped her into the car and I got to the driver’s sit.
“Miss why are you…?”
“I’ll take you home…who knows what might happen again”
“You really don’t have to…I’m okay I can manage..you must have somewhere you’re going?” She said trying to get down.
“I do have somewhere to be but it isn’t that important also I have a lot of time..I’m not in a hurry”
“But_”
“I insist…if you don’t allow me to take you home I’ll get angry” I said and she chuckled. I started the engine asked for the address then took her home.
Whoa…her house is freaking big…just like Liam’s..this is more like a Disney castle on it’s own.
“Wow…?” I muttered
“Do you like it?” She asked and I smile..she got down and I took her inside and trust me when I say the inside is more fabulous.
“How beautiful…?”
“Thank you so much miss…I don’t know how to repay this kindness of yours” she said snapping me outta of it.
“There’s a way you can pay me back”
“I’d love to”
“Promise me you’ll do it” I said and she nodded.
“You promised..you did..?” I said and she smile
“Okay I’d really appreciate it if you take your rest and contact the doctor immediately you feel any discomfort” I said and she laughs
“That’s what you want?”
“That’s all I want…and don’t forget you promised to do that” I said and she nodded
“You’re such a darling..Thanks dear”
“Then I’ll take my leave now…make sure to rest okay” I said and she smiles.
“And see the doctor…I’m really leaving…bye?” I said and left the house. Oh right! I still have to return the wallet to Liam..I totally forgot I Slapped my forehead and went to his house.

I knocked for the umpteenth time and waited eagerly for him to open up.
“You again?” He said as he opened up.
“Yeah me again?” I said and pushed him aside finding my way in.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” He asked in a cold voice.
“Cool down man don’t let your BP rise you don’t wanna die young do you?” I said playfully.
“Go out now or i_”
“What? You’ll call the police again?” I interrupted him and laughs.
“That’s not nice of you..you know” I said and I can see anger clouded his face.
“I came to return this” I showed him the wallet and he collected it from me.
“Oh…so you were the pilfer who stole it”
“If I had I wouldn’t be here returning it to you” I stood in akimbo.
“Are you dumb or pretending to…use your brain man you’re too handsome for that” I added.
“I hope nothing is missing there?”he said and I scoff
“If you’re done with your business here then you can make use of the door…I’m not quite comfortable staying with a stranger you know…especially a commoner like you”
“Wow…I’m hearing that word a lot lately..well Mr rich unfortunately I’m not done with my business here”
“And what more do you wanna do…let me guess…going to the toilet to pee” he said with a hint of mockery while I huff.
“Don’t you think you’re owning me something*
“And what would that be? Ahh…right! I forgot to compensate our little commoner here”
“Wow how can you be so rude and arrogant uh!. You’re really one of a kind Mr Liam Henshaw”
“How much do you want? 50..60..or maybe 100 ? Come on name your price or is that too small” he sm-irks geez this moron always find a way to make me angry.
“Forget about your damn money…if you don’t lack common sense you should know you should thank me and not flaunt your freaking money” I said and he laughs.
“you want me to thank you for returning this to me?” He said and I nodded.
“Jeez you don’t really expect a whole me to say ‘thank you’ to you to a lowly commoner bitc-h like you” he said again and I Nodded.
“If a person do you a favor you should appreciate it weren’t you taught that or that dumb skull of yours is just there to occu-py space in your fu-ck ing head” I lashed at him.
“There’s no way in earth I’m gonna do that!..now get out of my house!! Before I call the cops!!” He threatens.
“I’m going no where without hearing a thank you from you” I threatened back.
“Really..alright then” he said and brou-ght out his phone…while he was still dialing the cops number I quickly snatched the wallet from him.
“Hey give that back!!” He yelled.
“Not until you say thank you”
“Give it back now!” He said with gritted teeth.
“Come get it…?” I stuck my tongue out at him and ran around the house while he ran after me.
“Come on…are you tired Richy liam..?”
“Okay fine…you want a ‘thank you’ then I’ll give it to you” he said in defeat.
“Go ahead..say it”
“Than…tha…shit! I’ll never say that to a crazy person like you so give that back” he started chasing me again and before I knew it has he caught me,but I still won’t release the wallet until he thank me…it’s seems he doesn’t know the kind of person I am…he can’t be any stubborn than me. He wrapped his hand around me and struggled to get the wallet from me. While we were still struggling with the Wallet the door suddenly opened and a young girl with an elderly lady and an elderly man came in.
“What the fu-ck !” He muttered as they hug-ged him.
“Mom…Dad I thought you guys were gonna come back by next month” he asked
“Come on son, we just couldn’t wait, we were so eager to see the lucky lady who finally managed to captured our son’s heart that’s why we came early” The woman said and he for-ced a smile…lady? What lady…? Ahh it must be that rude girl I met the other day I thought to myself.
“And who is she?” The young girl asked pointing at me as he Stammered.
“SHE’S….MY FIANCEE” He said making my jaw dropped in shock. I looked at them confused…what! Me!.
“I…I..?” I tried talking but Liam cut me off and eyed me.
“Love meet my parents” he said and I gave him a ‘no way’ look. He wanted to say something but was cut short by his mom.
“Oh dear..really…forgive me..I never knew you are the one my son finally chooses to settle down with?” His mom said hugging me… Awwww her perfume smells great…just like the woman I saved the other time. i guess rich people smells nice like this.
“Wow…she’s pretty…and fashionable too…I like her style…bro thumbs up” the young girl grinned widely.
“Welcome to the family dear” His Dad smiled at me.
“Thank you sir…Thank you ma’am” I said playing along. Wht the heck am I doing? Why am I even playing along? Shouldn’t I run out of this place right now…?.
“Come let’s sit” his mom je-rked me outta it. We all sat with Liam sitting beside me.
“So, what’s your name?” His Dad asked.
“Annabella Stone” I replied.
“Wow…her name is even pretty just like her” his sister said.
“And she quite lovable and beautiful too son ” his mom added as my face beam in smiles.
“Sure mom…I love beautiful things especially my Annabelle” he held my hand and I cringe. What a devil in disguise. His parents and sister are such nice people but he’s the only cranky one among them I wonder where he got his bad attitude from.
“Liam can be grouchy sometimes but he’s nice…he’s an awesome guy when you get to know him better” his sister Said as if she was reading my mind.
“I know…he did act grouchy a lot of times but that makes him cute right?” I said and he frowns a little.
“We should have lunch together so we can get to know you better” His dad said.
“Yes…that’s right…let’s have lunch together sweetie” his mom also added.
“I’d love to but I can’t…I really have to go I have an important appointment” I lied as my eyes caught with Liam’s.
“But dear.. This is our first lunch together…with our new daughter in law at that” she said sweetly.
“I’m sorry but I really can’t…we can just set another date for that right? I wasn’t really expecting to see you guys today” I said and she smiled.
“Alright darling…see you again then” she said as I turned to leave.
“Okay mom…Dad let me see her off” Liam said and followed me outside.
“What the hell is that drama for?” I can’t believe I’m in such a mess I gro-aned as we left the compound.
“Excuse me Mr…I don’t un-derstand what just happened in there?”
“Um..Anna you see this is kind of complicated..but we can fix it…let’s play a game..I’ll pay you fifty million dollars if you agree to play along” he said as my eyes wide-ned in shock. fifty million? That’s a huge amount of money. I thought within.
“I still don’t get it?”
“Well the woman you saw in there is my mom Mrs Rose Rebecca Henshaw the owner of the well known Rossie Music and Film Records.The man Mr Genesis Victor Henshaw the CEO of infinite Group and the girl is my only sibling April Ella Henshaw she’s a fashionista and a model in the states. My parents wanted me to settle down and have a family of my own…I wasn’t even ready to get a girlfriend talk more of a wife but due to the pressure they’ve been putting on me I lied to them that I already have a fiancee they were so happy and told me they’ll be back next month but then they showed up unannounced and you were there so I just used you to cover up…and since it’s already like this I think we should make a deal” he ranted out and I kept mute.
“Listen..you’ll have to pretend to be my girlfriend and we’ll have to get married in two weeks…after three months we can annul the marriage you go your way and I do the same” he said simply. Oh my gosh I feel like ripping his heart out from his che-st, so arrogant like he is uh! He thinks it’s easy..I thought burning up in anger.
“What about your girlfriend the lady I saw with you the other night? She told me she was your girlfriend so why do you have to lie I’m your girlfriend…you can just marry her.”
“She isn’t my girlfriend…just forget about her she’s not even in the country as we speak” he said rather care freely.
“Then go get her wherever she is! Look I’m not gonna Marry you…get that into that thick skull of yours” I said and turned to leave but he pulled me back.
“Do you think I’ll take no for an answer? You just played along and you’re gonna continue to alright!..it’s fifty million that’s at stake here..don’t act rashly” he snapped and I stood in agape.
“Look, I don’t care about that Mr Arrogant and I don’t want your fu-ck ing proposal so better back off!” I yelled back pushing him away as I take my leave. Who does he thinks he is?.

❤LIAM’S P.O.V❤
“DO you think she’ll agree?” Ray asked
“I don’t know but I pray she does” I gulp down the entire content in the gla-ss.
“You should have talked nicely to her…I told you to change this cranky behaviour..look at the mess you got yourself into now bro” Ray said and I rolled my eyes. Whatever…that crazy girl should better not do anything stupid and agree or else she’ll get it from me hot.
“You only have three days left for the dinner…what are you gonna tell your parents?” Ray said and I signed.
“Good luck man I hope she agrees…I’m gonna hit the party…enjoy yourself” he patted me and left the. fu-ck it my head hurts..?.
❤ANNA’S P.O.V❤
“NEVER!! I’m never gonna marry him!” I blurted out in annoyance.
“But it’s just a proposal Anna…think about it, it’ll do you good too, you’ll be able to pay your debts and live a comfortable life” scar said.
“I already said no scar…I’m not gonna marry that insolent a-sshole just for money…marriage is not a joke you know”
“I don’t really know what’s wrong with you…why do you hate Liam so much, he’s every girl’s sweetheart well except you…but I just can’t get why you’re not into dudes…even if you dislike men you shouldn’t dislike Liam cause not only is he a man but a god and that God is asking you to marry him and here you are behaving like a nut case…I really don’t get you Anna” she said and I rolled my eyes. She can say whatever she wants but never in my life will I marry that arrogant soul.
“You can always talk to him to marry me instead…I don’t care about the money you can take it all while I take my Liam…I think that should work, don’t you think?” She said pulling my hand.
“Get lost scarlet.
