“Mr Liam Henshaw?” I heard one of the cops said uh! Liam Henshaw? Isn’t him the one scarlet was talking about..the young CEO…oh no! Before they could finish their conversation I quickly took off my pizza jacket and put it in my stomach using my top to cover it making it look like a pregnancy….it’d have been great if my helmet was here.
“There she is” Liam said pointing at me then one of the cops came to me.
“Missy you’re reported for trespa-ssing therefore un-der arres__” I didn’t let him finish when I started faking tears.
“Liam…if you can’t accept the pregnancy just tell me, you don’t really need to call the cops on me and my unborn child…if you hate me that much I’ll look for ways bring him up myself…you shouldn’t scare him like this…?” I said with tears I manage to for-ce out.
“Pre…pregnant..what a bitc-h cops don’t mind her she’s lying..that lady is a freaking liar..she only came to deliv__” I didn’t let him finish when I started the fake tears again.
“It seems like your father doesn’t want us baby…he must hate us so much…you did nothing wrong..you don’t deserve this baby” I said ru-b-bing my stomach shedding crocodile tears.
“Cops since you came to take me then you can but please don’t just harm my baby” I said in a breaking voice.
“Hmm…Mr Henshaw I think this situation on ground does not concern us..it’ll be better you solve it among yourselves…madam?”
“Yes officer”
“Don’t cry too much it’s not good for the child..we’ll take our leave now” he said
“Then aren’t you arresting me anymore…?” I asked with a pitiful face.
“Yes..this is not a matter we can intervene in..it’s between you two”
“Then can I take my leave now…I’m quite tired”
“Of course you can”
“Hey! She can’t go anywhere..hey bitc-h what the hell are you doing? This is not a fu-cking Hollywood…what drama are you performing!” He yelled
“Let’s go officer I don’t wanna hear his voice anymore”
“Mr Henshaw..we’ll take our leave now…let’s go madam?” I followed the cop and stuck my tongue out at Liam who stood there dumbstruck…I know he must be boiling with anger by now.
“If you don’t mind we can drop you home” the cop said and I decline the offer nicely.
“My wife is also pregnant and will put to bed soon like you ” he said fool that was why he was easy to fool.
“Oh really…?” I muttered
“Anyways take care of yourself” he said and left and I quickly took off the jacket and wore it back, I wore my helmet and start the vehicle then took off.

“Bill please!”
“Coming!”I said and went to get his bill
“Here” I handed him the bill and he gave me some money.
“Keep the change”he said and winked before leaving.
“a-sshole…?” I muttered and started cleaning the table.
“Over here” I heard someone say and I rushed over only to meet scarlet.
“One bottle of whiskey please” she said
“Scar what are you doing here?” I asked immediately.
“To see you of course” she replied
“Come on I know that’s not true”
“Just give me the drink girlfriend I’ll tell you later, you don’t want your boss to find out you are playing around” she said and I gave her a look before going to get her drink.
“Now tell me why the hell are you here?..last time i checked you said you did not ike coming here?” I asked pouring her the drink.
“Alright alright…I heard Liam visits this bar often” she said and I spilled the drink.
“Hey are you okay?” She asked with concern
“Did you just say Liam?” I asked ignoring the drink.
“Why? Is there a problem?”
“Oh it’s..nothing, if you don’t mind can you wait for me my shift is almost over”
“No problem girlfriend…we can go together when you’re done but I wonder if I’ll get to see him today…I pray I do” she said and I cleaned the spilled drink and attend to the other customers.

“So you mean you met Liam!!” She screamed and I flinched
“Can you stop screaming for Pete’s sake” I snapped at her.
“Tell me more…tell me more girlfriend” she said holding my hand
“Okay okay..I did meet him when I went to delivery the pizza and even entered his house”
“Oh Annabelle! You’re making get goosebumps…I can’t imagine it”
“Yeah…I do admit he’s handsome, charming and all that, but his looks Is the exact opposite of his attitude…no wonder they say beauty lies in the heart”
“You’re really lucky girl you get to meet him”
“And trust me when you do you’ll surely hate him, he’s rude, mean, Arrogant and cranky…I don’t even wanna talk about him anymore”I said and she signed
“I don’t get why you girls are so crazy over him, if you get to meet him you’ll know he doesn’t deserve any of your love geez!”
“Even so, I still wish to meet him someday…when we do we’ll fall in love and he’ll propose to me and we’ll travel around the world together with our children…we’ll be happy” she said dreamily.
“Good luck with that…I gotta go my Aunt would’ve been waiting for me by now”
“Okay then bye girlfriend” she gave me a side hug
“See you tomorrow” i said entering the bus.

“Aunt I’m home”
“Oh, welcome dear” she said in a sad tone
“Is something wrong?” I sat beside her
“It’s nothing..you should go and rest you must be tired” she replied and I can sense something is wrong
“Like you said I’m very tired from working all day but I’m not gonna rest if you don’t tell me what the problem is? I said trying to make her talk.
” okay…fine..the landlord came today..he said if we don’t pay within two weeks he’s gonna send us out..and you know he doesn’t make empty threats “she voiced out.
” is that why you’re thinking? Come on Aunt no need to stress yourself I’m gonna collect my salary soon remember ”
“But what if Jan comes home? You know he comes home everytime you collect your salary?”
“Don’t worry about that I’m gonna take care of it” I said and she signed.
“Okay now I’m going to rest I’m a bit tired” I stood up
“Don’t think about anything again..leave the thinking for me to do..just go to sleep okay” I said and she nodded.
“Goodnight” I kis-sed her cheek and went upstairs.
I slumped on my bed as soon as I reached my room, gosh I’m so worn out…I was thinking about what my Aunt said about the rent when nature take its course and I doze off.

❤Liam’s p.o.v❤
“Then I’ll get going” I said making my way to the door
“Alright dear thanks for visiting me ” Mrs Davis said walking me out.
Mrs Clara Davis is my parent’s childhood friend and businesses partner. She’s also like a mother to me, she lost her daughter which was betrothed to me when we were young in an unfortunate accident along with her husband some years ago and even though she acts strong I can see right throu-ghher, she’s hurting a lot so I make sure to visit her everytime and spend some time with her. Just like me she also believe her daughter isn’t dead since her body wasn’t found and we both pray and wish everyday she returns…someday even though it’s been seventeen years now…I really miss her a lot.
“About your marriage…?” She said bringing me back to reality
“Don’t worry about it I’m making some plans” I said and she smiled.
“Finally your parents would be relieved”
“Then I’ll be on my way now” I gave her a hug
“Okay bye…?” She waved as I got into the car and drove off.
❤Claire’s p.o.v❤
“Not reachable! Not reachable!! Arrrgh! Why the hell isn’t he picking up the damn call!” I gro-aned as I marched into the restaurant only for me to bump into some idiot who spilled juice on me.
❤Anna’s p.o.v❤
“Arrgh!!” She shouted
“I’m sorry ma’am..oh no” I apologize and took a tissue to clean her body but she slapped the tissue off my hand.
“Don’t touch me little rat!” Her face was filled with anger.
“I’m so sorry..I’m sorry” I said and made a turn to leave but to my utmost surprise she held me back and gave me a resounding slap.
“Where do you think you’re going bitc-h! You don’t leave when I’m still talking dirty Commoner” she gro-aned fearlessly and pull my hair rou-ghly. Oh no she just crossed the line. I grabbed hold of her hand and twisted it backwards making her wince in pain.
“Tell me one good reason why I shouldn’t break your tiny bones” I said with clenched teeth while everybody gasped. I don’t usually fight but when human bring out the devil in me they gets what they deserve
Scarlet quickly held me back making me release her.
“You’re really gonna pay for this…you won’t get away” she said and stormed out angrily.
“And don’t you dare set your tiny fish leg into this place ever again or else I’m gonna break it into piece and make fish soup with it!” I yelled after her and Scarlet slapped my back warning me to stop but it’s already too late cause my boss already witness what happened and I’m pretty sure he’s gonna fire me without a second thought.

Like I predict I was really fired, this is it, now one of the job which brings me money is gone just like that.
“Just why on earth did you do that uh!” Scarlet asked but I just kept mute.
“Anna Is something wrong? Come on tell me I know you, you can’t be like this except something is wrong” she said camly
“I just don’t know scar, I’m just tired the landlord is demanding us to pay the rent there are many debts on ground too and they are threatening to arrest my Aunt if we don’t pay and now I’ve lost one of the job which brings in more income, everything is just falling apart Scarlet” I said with a leap of tears streaming down my eyes.
“Come on Anna you’re a strong girl don’t cry girlfriend, I’m sure there’s definitely gonna be a way to all this..you’re stronger than this remember?” She said cleaning the tears with her thumb.
“Don’t worry..I’m gonna find a way to help you alright?”
“Thank you so much scar ” I managed to say and hug her
“It’s okay..it hurts me when you cry girlfriend, so don’t cry anymore” she gave me a pat on my back.

“C’mon bro let’s rock the party ” Ray said but I wasn’t interested.
“I’m okay” I said sipping my drink.
“Liam are you okay? You’ve been drinking ever since we came here, tell me what happened bro” he said again taking a sit beside me.
“It’s my parents…they’re forcing me to get married, they even said they’re coming home next month for the wedding” I voiced out.
“Whoa bro…what are you gonna do now? You shouldn’t have lied that you have a fiancee”
“I don’t know..they wouldn’t stop disturbing me so I had to…I don’t know what to do now?”
“But I know” he said with a smile plastered on his face.
“Know what?” I asked curiosly.
“Claire? Why don’t you just marry her”
“Nah”
“Why? It’ll be good right? And you know she likes you too”
“No Claire is just my friend…just a friend…I can’t marry her” I said gulping down the whole content in the cu-p.
“You’re gonna get drunk”
“You called for a chauffeur right?”
“Yeah I did”
“Good…I feel like drinking myself to stupor tonight”
“Do you miss her again?” He asked and I kept mute.
“I know you drink everytime you miss that girl…so what are you gonna do now?”
“I’ll just give it a try…any girl that comes in any minute from now will be my wife” I said a bit drunk.
“You’re really something bro…you prefer to marry a stranger than to marry your friend who likes you” he said but I only drink ignoring his question.
“Okay…let’s see who the lucky girl is…?” He said and we both fixed our eyes on the entrance.
❤Anna’s p.o.v❤
“Who called for a chauffeur!!” I said as I entered the club then a guy signal for me to come across the bar….he must be the one who called I went to meet him.
“Hi I’m Ray” he smiled
“Oh hi…?” I replied
“So you’re the lucky girl” be said and I was a bit confused.
“Bro..bro she’s here” he woke the other guy up then turned to me. “Good luck” he winked before leaving. Forget it maybe he’s a psycho..? I thought and went to meet the other guy only to see LIAM!! gosh why him again..he stood up abruptly looking very drunk.
“You…what are you doing here?” He mumbled..well I guess he still recognises me even in his drunken state…how great!
“You called for a chauffeur” I replied and he sm-irks.
“So, you’re the one” he staggers and I held him but he je-rk my hand away.
“Don’t touch me bitc-h!” He said leaving.
“a-sshole…?” I cursed beneath my breath following him but then he suddenly stopped and faced me.
“You…how did you know the way to the toilet the other day?”
“Oh…that..i wonder too…how did..I managed to know the way to the ALMIGHTY LIAM’S TOILET when it was just my first time there…?” I said and he gave me a look.
“I’m sure you aren’t dumb to forget where I live right?he threw the keys at me and got into the car. I rolled my eyes and got into the car also and the rest of the ride to the mansion was awkwardly quiet.
” we’re here Mr Liam Henshaw”i said as the electronic Gate opens and I drove in. Gosh I can’t just get enough of this homogenous beautiful house though I’ve been here before I just can’t help but marveled at this wonderful building in front of me.
“Would you stop gaping at my beautiful house and help me out” he said in a weak tone and I rolled my eyes..arrogant bu-tt..I came out of the driver’s seat and opened the door helping him out of the car. He staggered a little but I held him ti-ghtly…but then he je-rk me off again. Gosh he’s really so full of himself, isn’t he?. I made a turn to leave but remember he hasn’t paid me I turned back only to find him leaning on his car. I tapped him and the next thing I knew he laid his head on my shoulder and doze off. What the!..he doze off!! I put his car keys in his pocket and try to wake him up but he was in a de-eper sleep..I’m glad to know my small shoulder is quite comfortable for Mr Arrogant to sleep on. He must be really drunk.. Still thinking of what to do I heard a voice.
“Who are you?” I waited for the person to come in sight so I can see her but only to discover it’s that rude girl. The same girl who slapped me in the restaurant and made me lose my job.
“What the hell are you doing to my Liam?” She half yelled taking him away from me.
“It’s you again?” She huffed
“Humiliating me wasn’t enough now you’re seducing my boyfriend” she added. Oh, so Liam is her boyfriend they really made a great couple both rude and grumpy.
“Excuse me miss I’m not here to sed-uce your boyfriend?..I’m a chauffeur you know” I said rather calmly cause I’m not ready to fight this night.
“Then why were you hugging him?…look I don’t care whatever you came here for but just get it in your fu-cking brain that Liam can never stoop so low to a low level bitc-h like you” she scowl and brou-ght out her purse bringing out some cash and throw at me.
“Now take this and get lost whole!!” She yelled and went inside with Liam.
“She’s really lucky I’m not in a bad mood today or else she would have gotten it from me!” I gritted as I hit my leg on the car’s tyre.
“Ouch!!” I cried in pain as I hug-ged my knee to my che-st that really hurts…I decided to pick the money even though I’m pissed off that isn’t gonna stop me from taking the money. As I was picking it my eyes caught something un-der the tyre I bent to pick it up and discover it was Liam’s wallet. Oh it must have dropped earlier, I can’t go and return it now because of his vixen girlfriend. I’ll just return it tomorrow. I pick the rest of the money and left.
