We arrived at a beautiful building and we c@m£ down which he carried my bag,
“Come in my dear, he said going in first while I slowly entered behind him. 2 cute girls of about 10years ran down and welcomed him and I didn’t nee-d a soothsayer to tell me they were twins, very identical. I am very fast to crack identical twins and it was not difficult for me to see one is fatter than the other.
“Thank you my dear, this is your sister, Sister Sharon and she will be staying with us. Sharon, these are my girls, Goodness and Mercy, the man said.

“Hello good morning, they waved at me and I f0rç£d a smile waving at them also.
“Okay where is the nanny? The man asked.

“She’s washing daddy, one replied.
“Okay then go help her out, Hurry, he said and they ran back then I saw an enlargement ph0togra-ph,

“Your wife? I pointed.
“Yes, she use to be, he replied.

“I don’t un-derstand, I said.
“Sharon sit down st©p standing that way make yourself comfortable, he said and I slowly sat on the sofa there.
“She died 2 years ago, he continued but the hatred I have for his kind did not allow me to pity him.

“Do you know how challenging it is to pray for the sick and they are healed but you could not heal your own wife? She had fibroid and I took her to the hospital to be operated but she died, it was very surprising to me but it didn’t st©p there. I was shocked to see my own brothers in the faith rose up to say I used her for rituals to bring members to my church. I know such things are happening, that’s why I said there are wolfs in sheep clothing, but what I could not un-derstand was why they could think that way about me. I am working and equally doing business though I kept someone in charge of it, but God knows I am using the money from my job to also take care of my members instead of leaving all my survival on them because I un-derstand the poor will always be among them. It doesn’t end by blessing offerings and preaching God will open the windows of heaven on them, yea it works but then I try to put it into practice for even Jesus did same after preaching to the people and they were hungry, he didn’t prophesy that their stomach will be filled but fed them to their satisfaction. This little thing I do bring in members to my church and God seeing the content of my heart blesses me in a way I can carry this burden on my shoulders but I got enemies rather from my fellow pastors, he said while I just looked at him and breathed out.

“Sorry for your loss, I managed to say.
“No I am not worried about my wife loss for she’s resting, I just want to let you know that afflictions, problems are all p@rt of life. You must experience them so don’t think you’re the only one in it, thousands of people are facing more than what you’re going throu-gh right now, he said and I smiled. This man does not know what he is saying, only because he has lost his wife he thinks he has gone throu-gh half of what I’ve gone throu-gh ba.

“Sharon, let me show you your room, he said getting up.
“plea-se wait, why are you helping me when you don’t even know me? I asked and he sat down.

“That’s my job, I help people and its true I don’t know you, I saw you for the very time yesterday night. I spent the whole month praying but then I was asked to go out and I…… “Asked by who? I cut in.
“God, he told me to go out and he led me to the restaurant. I told God I was fasting but he told me to watch. Since I was in a restaurant I must surely order something and then you c@m£ to me very sad and my spirit told me this is the one I want you to help out. I believe everything happens for a reason, you were not suppose to be there, something has to happen to kick you out of there, he replied and it was still feeling strange to me.

“Which God and spirit is he talking about sef? I wondered.
“Where’s your family? He asked when I was quiet.

“In the village, I ran away, I replied without knowing and he sat up.
“Tell me about it, he said and I rolled my eyes wondering why my big mouth opened in the first place.

“Sharon, I don’t see it wise for a child to run away from home without a cause just to suffer, if there’s anything I nee-d to know plea-se tell me, he insisted.
“How will I trust you when my late aunty brou-ght your kind to deliver my family but they did more havoc. They always say Once bitten twice shy right? I ran away from home because of my daughter, I didn’t want her to end up like the rest of my sisters, but i eventually lost her, I said.

“I know its always very difficult to convince someone who has been betrayed but then plea-se take out anger from your heart, don’t judge me I beg you. I think I’ll give you some time and when ever you feel you can trust me enough to open up to me I’ll be waiting okay. Let me take you to your room, come, he said getting up and I slowly followed him and he opened up a room for me.
“This is the visitor room, its yours now and are you hungry? He asked and I shook my head.

“plea-se don’t lock yourself up, I’ll tell the nanny you are here so you can feel free and relate with them. I’ll be rushing to the church now, he said.
“Okay bye, I said and he left and I weakly sat on the be-d confused. What is fate really pla-ying with me? I know I dumped my daughter in the church in my confused state because I saw that as the best thing to do, now I am ending up In a pastor house who is re-ady to take me in. Should I open up and tell him my problems if he can help my family out of this mess I ran out from? Or should I monitor to see if he is truly the man he is saying? I asked very disturbe-d…………

The next day was a Sunday and I was still slee-ping when Goodness ran into my room and greeted me,
“Morning Goodness how are you? I asked cleaning my eyes.
“I’m fine, sister won’t you be following us to church? She asked.

“Church? I asked looking at the time and saw it was just 6:45am.
“Daddy is waiting for you, she replied and ran out and I rolled my eyes and left the room to see everyone re-ady and I greeted the man.

“Morning Sharon you’re not re-ady yet? Sorry I didn’t tell you we always leave to the church very early, the man said smiling..
“Really? I asked scratching my head.

“Don’t worry daddy you can go, I’ll wait for her, Goodness said.
“Okay darling I’ll drop the transport fare for you two okay, her father said while I just watched the drama.

“Sharon take care of her okay and dont be too late, Mercy let’s go, The man said holding Mercy out and Goodness c@m£ to me.
“Don’t be scared you’ll enjoy the service, she said.

“Why not go with your father don’t worry about me, I told her.
“How will you find the church then? Sister come let’s go, she said drawing my hands and I knew I can’t escape this one.

I arrived with Goodness and I sat very uncomfortable, it was my very first time in a service and everything was so strange. But I kept following them for the weekly activities and gradually I was feeling at home and equally comfortable in church. A month later the pastor planned of hosting a programme and he bec@m£ more busy but it was not my problem, the children were really nice and I was equally helping out the nanny not until my eyes saw the calendar as I was cleaning, its my baby birthday.

I felt so bad and I ran in locking up myself in the room refusing to open up to anyb©dy until the pastor c@m£ home and learned about it.
“Sharon open up, he said knocking and I sniffed and opened up for him and greeted him.
“What happened? The children complained that you locked yourself up since in the morning why? He asked closing the door back and I drew my nose and sat on the be-d.

“Talk to me what happened? Did the children or the nanny did anything to you? He asked and I shook my head.
“No plea-se, its just that I remembered its my baby 1 year today, today is her birthday, I replied.

“Where is she? He asked and I covered my mouth trying to control myself.
“I dumped her somewhere, I haven’t seen her since then, I replied.

“Why will you do such a thing? How can you dump your baby? He asked and I shook my head.
“She was sick sir she was very sick and I was very scared. That was the day I ran away from home……… I told him everything as he carefully listened to me and he breathed out when I was done.

“Its okay Sharon its alright, don’t blame yourself and thanks for believing in the church in your confused state. Don’t worry you’ll see your daughter, in fact what’s the church name? Can you remember? he asked and I quic-kly called it out to him.
“Are you serious? I’ll be hosting the pastor of that church in the programme we will have soon, the pastor said and my eyes bulged out.
