“plea-se call him sir, I want to see my daughter, I said.
“Calm down Sharon it does not work that way and again he’s not in town, he traveled for a programme and his wife is very good. Your baby is in safe hands, he said.

“But…but what if they don’t know anything? What if someone else carried the baby without their knowledge? plea-se sir help me confirm else I’ll not have rest, I said.
“Sharon you have been having this rest for months now why today? At least I know him and he will be here next week for the programme then we will settle down and discuss this with him appropriately. St©p worrying yourself too much, the pastor is responsible and your baby is just fine, the pastor said and I bowed my head.

“Sharon why didn’t you tell me that such a thing was going on in your family? He asked but I could not reply him.
“Your family is clearly cursed and its surprising to see everyone quiet dying in the dark without looking for help, the man continued and I look at him.

“But what did we do to anyb©dy to curse us that way? I asked.
“It may not be you but your fathers, you said it yourself that so many children has been born suffering the same fate. Lamentations 5:7 says; our fathers have sinned and are no more, and we have borne their iniquities.
Your fathers must have done something that is still speaking and will still speak from generation to generation until it is being st©pped, your daughter won’t escape this fate either. This is why its very important that we should be careful of what we do, because its like a seed that may not germinate in your time but will grow in the time of your children to come and they will have to reap it bountifully, the pastor replied and I shook my head.

“No plea-se! What’s the nee-d for all this suffering am going throu-gh now by running away? I don’t want her to face same plea-se, I pleaded.
“Sharon, if there’s something wrong with the foundation, running away won’t solve it. Its like your shadow and a fate that you must face until it is being st©pped it will continue to hunt any child born, the man said.

“That’s what am saying na plea-se help me, I don’t want my daughter to go throu-gh same plea-se pastor, i said going down on my knees.
“Sharon its not me to help you. You also have to help yourself, you and your family nee-d salvation and until you accept Jesus and know him, you can’t be redeemed, the pastor said.

“I have accepted him na, I accept! I shouted and he smiled and got up.
“You know what Sharon think about this carefully, for this is not a joke. For you’re about to go into another phase of life and and on your own seek God face the way you can. Don’t worry everything will be fine, the pastor said tapping me and left the room while I just looked at him mouth opened.

I was very determined and if knowing this God will save I and family then I am re-ady to give myself wholly to him to end this suffering. The pastor was very busy that I didn’t see him at home to tell him I am re-ady to give my life to Jesus, in fact he left the house totally for prayers for the programme that I felt like crying for him. The programme finally arrived and I took the kids to the church every evening and it was so powerful. There was an altar call on the 3rd day of the programme and that was where I surrendered all and that emptiness and weirdness I have been feeling suddenly makes s-en-se to me, I un-derstood clearly that moment. Something was calling out to me all this while but I didn’t un-derstand, and it was my salvation was just what I nee-ded to fill this emptiness and have peace.

“Congratulations, the pastor said shaking hands with me and I cleaned my tears smiling.
“How do you feel now? He asked.

“I feel relieved, and there’s this peace inside of me, thank you pastor, I replied.
“No thank God. plea-se make sure the kids are with the nanny and tell her to take them home, the pastor said.

“Won’t I go home with them? I asked.
“No meet me in the office okay, he replied and I nodded and left to find the kids. I took them to the nanny telling her just what the pastor said and they went home while I left to the office. I knocked on the door and entered and saw the pastors talking,

“Oh Sharon come in, the pastor said and I got in greeting the pastors which they answered.
“Sit down plea-se, the pastor said pointing to an empty seat and I slowly sat down looking at them confused, then the pastor cleared his throat.

“She’s the one I told you about, and hallelujah she got her salvation today, the pastor said smiling.
“Praise God. Sharon right? One of the pastors asked and I cleared my throat and coughed.

“Yes sir, I replied.
“I see the resemblance, and yes your daughter is fine, the man said and I can’t explain how my b©dy vibr@ted hearing that when it bec@mÂŁ clear its the pastor of the church I dropped my daughter in. I was so speechless and all I did was cry as I saw myself leaving the chair to the floor but the pastor held me,

“Its alright and I saw the note you left with her and I knew you will return for her so I and my wife decided to take responsibility not until my friend told me what happened. Its so unfortunate you went throu-gh all that but it has to be st©pped, the man said.
“plea-se, plea-se help my family I beg you. I don’t know who has been R@pÂŁd or who has died again. The pains is just too much for us, I cried and they nodded.

“You’ll take us to them okay, and God will surely deliver you all. I have taken that girl as my daughter and i wont want her to experience the same fate, and I also want to applaud you for the great step you took today, that was a step of victory and this curse will be broken, the man said.
“Amen, amen, I said bowing my head.

“Its okay Sharon, go home okay someone is waiting for you, the pastor said.
“Who plea-se? I asked.

“Uhmmm a visitor, you know the nanny will have to go back home so keep her company for me and the children until I come okay, he replied and I nodded greeting the pastors again and left.
I got home and opened the door to see Mercy pla-ying with a little girl and I slowly went close looking at her,

“Mercy who has the child? I asked..
“Aunty, she went to use the loo, she replied and I bent down and carried her and the girl raised her hand and t©uçhed my eyebrow, one thing my daughter loves pla-ying with,

“Charity? Charity! I screamed out hvgging her ti-ght and I saw a woman c@mÂŁ out looking at me. I didn’t know what to say to her as I helplessly looked at her scared she will get the girl from me but she smiled and c@mÂŁ close,
“She’s such a lovely girl you know, you could have confided in the pastor, the woman said.

“I’m sorry ma, I didn’t know what to do at that time plea-se forgive me, I cried and she t©uçhed me.
“Its alright God alre-ady did his work and am happy she’s back to you. Is my husband still in the church? She asked and I nodded.

“Okay I’ll go meet him there and ermmm her clothes is in the room. Take care of her okay, the woman said.
“Thank you so much ma thank you, I said.

“You’re welcome. Bye my love, she said shaking my daughter hand and hurriedly left to catch up with her husband and I hvgged my daughter again happily.
“Mommy will never leave you again I promise, i said to her.

“Sister you have a daughter? Mercy asked.
“Yes dear, her name is Charity, I replied drawing her close and I didn’t see Goodness around.

“Where’s your sister? I asked.
“She’s cooking Noddles, let me go tell her you have a baby, Mercy replied and ran to the kitchen while I smiled at my baby.

“You’re welcome my love, did you miss me huh? Tell me you missed mommy, I pla-yed with her laughing ha-rd as I took her to my room.

When I heard the pastor car drove in, I ran down and hvgged him ti-ght almost pushing him down with all the fasting he has been doing. I didn’t know how to thank him for taking care of everything when I was busy worrying and delivering my best gift in perfect health,

“Now you’re in perfect peace ba? Where’s the baby? He asked laughing.
“She’s slee-ping. Thank you sir, thank you in fact I can’t thank you enough but God will bless you, I replied.

“Bless you too dear, just take good care of her okay and don’t worry she’s equally welcomed here, he said and I just hvgged him again crying……………
