After the service Bridget father took Victor and Maria to the host pastor office and begged to be with them alone.
Victor was so drained and sat down so lost as everything still looked like a dream to him as he was alre-ady thinking of what to do to his mother when he get hold of her,
“Victor are you okay? Bridget father calmly asked but he didn’t replied and he heaved.
“I’m sorry for the way the pastor dropped the message to you. He’s gifted in seeing things but I’ve always asked him to pray for God direction and wisdom on how to deliver what God has shown him but he will never listen. If I saw he left where he sat I would have st©pped him because for more than 5 times he was almost beaten in church because of the way he delivers his message, plea-se I’m sorry If you felt embarras-sed,Bridget father said and Victor sniffed looking at him.
“Nkiru told me something like that after you told us she was a witch. When we left to her place to bring her down to the hospital to see Francis, she said I should better believe in witches because my mom is not different. I thought she wanted to get me upset because we kind of embarras-sed her in the hospital, Victor said.
“She said that? Have they met before? Bridget father asked and Victor nodded.
“Yes they did and just once but they were so happy so see each other as if they have known themselves for a long time, Maria replied.
“Its alright, what ever the case is remain calm. Don’t behave rudely to her, there’s gonna be trouble in their camp and they will bring her out themselves. Just stand strong and see the salvation of the Lord as he will fight for you, the pastor said and Victor bite hisl-ips.
“I want to kill her myself, he said.
“No no no no don’t. Just be calm, if you want to act like you know who she is, you might not be strong enough to withstand her because she will have to cut you off so you won’t expo-se and tarnish her image. Keep calm, God knows how to fight this better, The pastor said and Maria heaved de-eply shaking her head.
“By the way how did you find me here? Bridget father asked.
“Bridget told me so we c@m£ because we feared you may not have the time to address this issue, Maria replied.
“What issue? He asked.
“I saw my mom today, according to her she escaped from where she’s hold prisoner to warn me, Maria replied and told him everything Nkiru told her.
“She told you all of this? He asked and she nodded.
“That’s serious. I was right when my spirit told me Nkiru can’t die like that, she must have a plan though I couldn’t decipher what the plan was because Bridget told me to forget about it. But if she really said that to you I think there’s an atom of truth in what she said especially the p@rt she said her b©dy should be burnt. But I don’t think its the physical burning she’s talking about here, the pastor said.
“I don’t un-derstand, Maria said.
“Something like this happened many years ago in my village when I was still a child. There was this strong witch that died just 2 compound from my father own that made the people lived in fear. Things are happening in this world and its happening more in the spirit, that’s why I pity those who are careless and carefree in this world because they are ignorant, the pastor replied.
“So pastor what should i do? Maria asked.
“First I’ll go to her room with my prayer p@rtners and break everything I am to break so you and your siblings will be free. But you see that burning p@rt, give to ceaser what belongs to ceaser because I won’t do it, The pastor said.
“But why? And what Ceaser do you mean? Victor asked.
“There are ancient and traditional ways things should be done, I won’t decieve you that because I’m a man of God I can command her spirit and burn it, lies! Go back to the ancient ways and let them do it their diabolical way because she went their way. That doesn’t mean you’re for them, but in this life you just have to follow principles. I know many pastors won’t tell you this because they see it evil, Nkiru un-derstands this better though she couldn’t tell you in details but this is just the simple truth, the pastor replied..
“Now I’m more weak, how and where can I find any fetish priest? I didn’t grow up in the village and I have no idea. But I thought prayers can do everything but why is this case different? Maria asked.

See there are principles you have to follow, I am not that pastor that will tell you everything traditional is diabolic. Take a case In the bible where a blind man was brou-ght to Jesus, but what did Jesus do? He first took him outside the city he met him, spat on a mud and placed it on his eyes. Why didn’t Jesus pray to heal him? The pastor asked and they were quiet.
“Didn’t what Jesus did looks diabolical, evil and all you can think of? Life is mystery and there are practises that has been in existence for hundred of years now that still help but Religion won’t tell you that. If you want to completely take out something, go to the root of it, go to the source. I won’t lie to tell you Jesus will come down to burn her spirit for you, there are still secrets in the traditional line people because of religion has ignored and subjected evil which is very important. When the ritual is done on Nkiru, then leave the rest in God hands committing all to him, I am just real here and that is me, The pastor replied and Maria nodded.
“Thank you pastor I’ll try my best. But when are you free to see my mother room? Maria asked.
“Is tomorrow okay for you? I’ll be there in the morning, he replied.
“No problem, thank you sir, Maria said getting up to leave and he shook hands with Victor.
“Don’t be scared, and always be prayerful, I repeat be prayerful, the pastor said.
“If you don’t pastor can we engage you in prayers even on phone? Victor asked.
“Very good I’m always available, he replied and gave them his number and they thanked him again and left the office.
“I can’t believe this, so its true? A prophetess, women leader and a great inspiration in my community is a witch? I feel like going to the media to publicize this, its so heartbreaking, Victor said on the road but Maria seemed not to be listening to him.
“Are you alright? Victor asked her.
“No, how will I find a fetish priest to free my mom? I really want her out of that prison, Maria said. “We just have to ask then because I don’t know. But don’t let that worry you too much, Victor replied and she let a breath out.

Francis is not still aware of Nkiru pas-sing away, when they returned to the hospital they had to wait for him to go to be-d before going into the conversation.
“So sister did you pray for me? Francis asked in be-d.
“Yes o, your father in law to be is so good, Maria replied tou-ching him and he smiled.
“I can’t wait to leave this place, he said.
“Bro you will don’t even think about leaving so fast because if you are not completely well eh, you go no where, Fred said.
“Ahh you think lying down here is sweeting me? Francis asked.

“So did you pray for me too? Seth asked and they bur-st out laughing.

“Time for be-d ba? Oya let’s excuse you so you can sleep, Maria said.
“Ahh I only yawned o, Francis said.
“Eh na its a sign that sleep is coming, good night, Maria said and Francis rolled his eyes as Maria la-id him well.
“But I don’t want to sleep now na, Francis said.
“Shhhhh its past 9pm so sleep, she said.
“Good night bro, the guys said to him.
“Good night and thank you so much, Francis said and they waved at him and left the room.

‘What happened? Fred asked.

“No it won’t go that way calm down. Bridget father is on this case and he is praying for us but he told us to be calm and not to anything rash. He said trouble will happen in their camp and they will attack her themselves so let’s just calm down, nothing will happen to him, Maria said.
“Hey Alice! Jesus! Mark exclaimed keeping his hands on his head and Victor cleaned his tears.

“Yes I remember you told me a dream like that and you even called your mother telling her that she began to cry saying her baby is sad where ever she is and that God will give her soul rest when she killed her! God! Fred said and Seth heaved.
“This is sad and I’m sorry Victor. But now that this is expo-sed, I am very sure she will know, you nee-d to be prayerful o, Seth said.

“Talking about spirit world, we heard a lot today, Maria said telling them all the pastor said concerning Nkiru matter.

“Do you know after you left with Victor we were just imagining how we wan start take burn Nkiru b©dy. Mark here suggested make we just burn down the mortuary but what about people corpse? Then I suggested we should do as if we want to transfer the b©dy to another mortuary, then take it to a place where we will burn it and give one kind lie to cover up, Fred said and Maria sighed.
“I thought of so many things as well because its not an easy thing to get her b©dy burned, how will we explain it to people? Maria asked.

“When will you be leaving? Victor asked.
