I didn’t waste time to head back home so infuriated, this should be my first disagreement with her and its so annoying.
I wondered how she got to know them in the first place and how she got to this extent.
“Was I not a good friend to her? Where did I miss it? I asked and cleaned my face scared for Charity.
“Maybe I should have spoken lightly with her and not the way I did, I thought and took my phone to call her but she didn’t pick despite my constant calls.
I sighed and got up to go inside but met my mother asleep.
I slowly t©uçhed her and saw she was sweaty and I heaved, the room nee-ds a fan but then there’s nothing like electricity to make that happen.
I cleaned her and la-id down to rest also, but all my thought was on Charity, I prayed in my heart she should withdraw from this her new company because it seems they have taken a hold of her.
But then if I don’t do something about this, it will definitely affect me too.
My fees is on her dad and we are expecting him to s£nd something this week,
“Why this temptation God! I exclaimed scared of what this girls may say to her, because its clear they are trying to tear us ap@rt and I wonder what exactly they will gain from this…….
The next day I left to school but didn’t see her in the lecture hall, I dialled her number in the clas-s and it was switched off.
I was so abs£nt minded in clas-s and left the hall first immediately the clas-s was over to the hostel but she wasn’t there.
“Hi, seen Charity today? I asked one of the girls that c@m£ out next door.
“Nah and I don’t un-derstand, she has not been slee-ping in the hostel anymore, I thought she is with you, The girl replied and I nodded.
“Thank you, I said and left trying her number but met her on the road.
She got shocked at first when she saw me then she kept a balanced face,
“Really Charity? I asked st©pping her when she wanted pas-sing me like she doesn’t know me.
“Hi was that you? She asked like she didn’t see me at first.
“You’re joking right? You just pas-sed me like a stranger and where did you spend your night? I asked and she shook her head.
“Purity, its my life okay not yours, and yea I saw the alert yesterday but the sad news is that you won’t be getting it with this your nagging attitude, sorry, she said and wanted walking away and I held her back.
“What have they done to you? Charity is this really you? When last did you look yourself in the mirror? Can’t you see what they are doing to you? Common Charity st©p this! I shouted.
“Purity what exactly do you want from me? I’m not complaining right? I love my life now so why disturbe-d? She asked.
“Because I’m your friend and I’m the only one that thinks well for you. Those girls want to destroy you, plea-se there’s still time for you to come to your s-en-ses and withdraw, I said holding her hand but she slowly took her hands off.
“I can take Care of my self and they don’t look like they want to hurt me, they are cool trust me you’re saying this because you don’t know them. sometimes what seems wrong to others may not be that bad as they paint it, I love it Purity I really do, she said and I shook my head with teary tears.
“plea-se Charity think about this carefully, and if you nee-d a friend, you know I’m always there, I calmly said and she walked away so fast and I cleaned my eyes and left to the libr@ry.
I knew I just wasted my time there because i have no where to go before the next lecture, and when my alarm notified me, I rushed out and met the idiots destroying my friend strolling.
I saw them sit somewhere with a cu-p of ice cream and I went behind them to confront them, but then they were talking about Charity.
“Oh the little girl, in less than 2 weeks we met her we have emptied her, sweet foolish girl, the one who do wait for her said and I quic-kly put on a sound recorder and stood at a distance still behind them.
“She’s really a stupid Sweet girl, she fears our voice and do whatever we command, it’s been long we have seen someone that gullible to rule and have fun with, another said.
“I saw an alert on her phone, looks like her dad just s£nt a hvge amount of money and she said its the fees of that ru-bbish girl that has been bothering us, another said.
“Her dad pays her fees? The first girl asked.
“I heard it when she called her dad to thank him, we nee-d to get that money, she can’t take it to that bit-ch, the last girl replied.
“And we nee-d to get her dad too, he is in cash mhenn just imagine if we have him at the ti-p of our f!nger, the foolish girl will be shut away and it will just be us, the first girl said and they laughed wickedly and I stood in front of them,
“Hello, I said waving at them with my phone still on sound recorder.
“What are you doing here? Charity isn’t here right? The first girl asked.
“I’m not blind to see that, but what exactly to you nee-d from her? I just want to know my friend is safe and I’ll let her be, I said and they laughed.
“Anyone walking with us is safe in this campus, your friend is wise you should join us too you know, the second girl said.
“Yea you’ll make a good girlfriend, I mean look at yourl-ips and your eyes, I can’t wait to have it, she said tou-ching my face and I went backward.
“Common Purity st©p this ha-rd ness and free yourself, that’s exactly what your girlfriend is doing but you’re blind to see the fun she is having, the third girl said and i scoffed.
“Who are you girls? Because i cant really place my mind on what you girls really do, and Is there really fun in lesbianism? I mean, how do you enjoy that $h!t? I asked and they looked at themselves and smiled.
“Baby girl not even your b©yfri£ndcan beat the fun and satisfaction in it, we give it h0t and powerful if you want you can give us a try, she said and i smiled and li-cked myl-ips.
“I swear you will never go back to your b©yfri£nd, we are full package in everything. We make you big girls on campus and you don’t nee-d to worry about anything be it lecturers or anyone, we gat you, the first girl said s£dûçt!velyand I nodded.
“Nice one though and I’m tem-pted to try, i said.
“Yes baby now you’re getting there, the first girl said happily.
“but its sad the one you have been giving her h0t is still knacking with a guy and begging for a minute plea-sure, why so? I asked and the first girl face lighted up with Anger.
“None of my girls will ever do that! She shouted.
“Are you serious? Why not ask them yourself, I said and other girls looked so terrified and i smiled.
“Looks like the plea-sure is h0t in the other gender too bad, plea-se leave my friend alone out of this $h!t! You cant give any protec-tion, st©p deceiving the young girls in campus! I shouted on them and walked away saving the recording as I was almost late for the lectures.
I quic-kly s£nt the recording on WhatsApp to Charity and got into the hall,
“Now you see they were not really your friends, plea-se we have lectures now, hope to see you in clas-s, I s£nt and heaved and switched off my data and got re-ady to the lecturer.
During the lecture as I was busy writing someone sat down beside me, and when i looked it was Charity,
“Hi, she slowly said and I smiled and gave her my book
“Its okay, I’ll get that later but I’ll continue from where I c@m£ in, she said and slowly brou-ght out her book and i was so happy.
After the lecture we sat down quietly as those who wanted leaving left and few remained at the back with their friends to talk,
“Uhmm i…….. “Purity I’m sorry, she cut in.
“Its okay but I just want to know one thing, what drove you to them? Was I not a good friend to you? I asked and she shook her head.
“I’m sorry, I really don’t know how i gave myself to be that deceived. Remember the birthday p@rty of one of the girls in the hostel i told you about? She asked.
“That was last semester if I’m not mistaken, i replied.
“They met me there, though the tall slim one. She was cool and we exchanged numbers, then she began talking with me s£nding me S-xual pictures and somehow it began to influence me. I blocked her line, but she didn’t back off, she used sweet words turning me on and showed me lies i thought were true, I suddenly felt this de-sire to how it feels you know, she said.
“You didn’t tell me this why? I thought we share everything together? why did you hide this from me? I asked and she cleaned her face.
“I’m sorry but I promise it won’t happen again, I mean Purity I’m so ashamed i can’t believe most of things they made me do, i wasn’t even thinking and when i got to know i was only used, I c@m£ to realize you were my real and best friend and I’m sorry, truly i am, she said and i t©uçhed her.
“Its okay, just forget about it alright but I’m happy you’re back, i missed you, I said and she hvgged me.
“Back as friends and never to fight again, she said and we gave our self a hi-five and laughed happily.
“But what you told them about the knacking of a guy, is it true? She asked.
“Not true o, do I even know them? I asked and we bur-st out laughing.
“Smart girl, Let’s go pay our fees plea-se, dad s£nt it yesterday, she said.
“Can i plea-se thank him for that? I asked.
“Sure, let’s go I’ll call him on the way, she said and we took our books and left holding hands together as we used to do………….
