☕ Alexander’s pov ☕
I came back from my morning jog and got ready to leave for the office. I walked down the stairs and I could hear Mia laughing happily in the kitchen. I walked over there and the sight in front of me brou-ght a smile on my face. Mia and Emma on aprons and making pancakes. the funny part of it all was that Mia was that Mia was only eating while Emma made them I’m sure she’ll be filled by the time they finish making them. ” baby your mouth is stained with chocolate you look like a cookie monster” Emma said and Mia laughed.
seeing the happiness on her face ,I felt a smile graced my li-ps. my heart beat and I couldn’t take my eyes off her that is when it hit me like a bomb . I’m falling for Emerson,the craziest woman I’ve ever met, Mia’s nanny” I stared at her in shock. I started walking backwards as I panick filled me how ? when did it happen ?

I arrived at the office and throu-ghout the day, I was just not myself,to top it all my head started Ban-ging with a terrible headache. of all the people to have a thing for, it’s that Emma ? how did you let this happen Alexander……? I scolded myself.
” why is he slapping himself ? I heard the voice of my elder brother. ” has he finally gone crazy ? Morris asked and I turned to the both of them. ” ion wanna talk about it ” I said and they both have me suspicious looks. ” we definitely wanna talk about it ” Morris said smiling sheeplesssly while Anton gave a nod in agreement. ” it’s nothing besides I have work ” I said and faced my laptop. ” it’s something serious Xander you look so nervous about it . is it about Mia’s nanny ? is she giving you troubles” Anthony asked and my heart skipped a beat.
” what….no ” I tried to deny .
” boom Alex has lived again ” Morris said and I froze . ” what…no I only love Diana okay I just like Emerson it’s nothing serious okay, I just have a thing for her it’ll fade away” I said and Morris laughed.

” you wouldn’t be this anxious if you only had a crush on her Alex you’re in denial ” Anthony said and I stood up. ” I’ve loved Diana for years guys, Emma is just Mia’s nanny I won’t let myself Fall in Love with her ” I said with determination. ” so now you’re gonna kill the feelings you have for Emerson ? Morris asked like I had said something totally insane. ” Alex can you at least try to be happy ? Diana wanted you to move on ” bro said and I bit my li-ps as tears rolled outta my eyes.

Anthony and I decided to leave Alex to himself for sometime. the guy is still hung on Diana . I just pity Alex he’s unknowingly grown strong feelings towards Emma. love hasn’t really been my thing , I grew up in a home where both my parents where in a contract marriage. they pretended to love each other in front of the world,but inside they loathed each other to the core ,their relationship was so toxic because dadfu-ck*d around and mom too.
even when I come into the picture, they had no plans of changing. as a kid I used to wonder why my parents couldn’t sit with me to have one simple meal.
I was all alone and always with the maids I saw how they changed partners with the no care of their son. I met Alex & vee during gradeschool, they showed me,the love my parents could never provide me. Alex was there for me throu-ghout he introduced me to his family and his parents treated me like their own son . vida had a thing for me during highschool while I slept around to stop thinking about my parents , I knew I hurt vee feelings but I was scared . she wanted something serious and I knew de-ep down that I wasn’t emotionally ready for anything serious. after my parents divorce, vee confessed she had feelings for me just before I left for college I told her to move on. she cried in my arms for not reciprocating her feelings but I knew and prayed she’ll get over me .
during the Time I left for college I made the worse mistake of my life . I hooked up with Stephanie north. Alex was so mad at me, that he made me promise I won’t ask vee out because he had an hint about my feelings for vee , and he knew how crazily obsessed his sister can get.

I broke up with Stephanie a year later because I couldn’t stay in the relationship we no feelings it was just all about se-x. I didn’t wanna make the same mistake like my parents and stay in a toxic relationship.
Stephanie tried to get us to date again she was so obsessed and was acting crazy . vee and I where only friends buh she hated vida ,they always fought anytime they came in contact.
I made matters worse the night I took vee’s V¡rginity at the anniversary of Alex and Diana. two years after Stephanie had created a scene downstairs at the mansion unknown to vee.

Morris phone rang as he woke up sleeping besides the love of his life . he stared at the caller ID and froze .
why was Stephanie calling ? he quickly dressed up and went downstairs. ” Morrison how dare you” she said dangerously as she slapped him with tears rolling down her eyes.
” Stephanie stop making a scene I don’t like it when you do this. I made it clear it was over between us. FYI it’s been two… almost three years” he snapped angrily.
” why ? because of vida ? did you finally have a taste of her ? is that why you’re now snapping at me Morrison fine go on I’ll ruin her I promised you” she said angrily and I pulled her back.
” wait Stephanie please leave vee outta this ” I pleaded because I knew just how dangerous she could be. ” are you seriously begging me to live your who-re Morrison ” she asked with angry tears rolling outta her eyes.
” she’s not a who-re Stephanie” I snapped. ” ” fine if I can’t have you , she shouldn’t have you too Morris or I swear I’ll kill her I don’t mind going to jail no one takes what’s mine” she said and I froze .
” Stephanie listen to me please.

I had to break vee’s heart . I didn’t know know she got depressed after Diana’s death. she made me promise we would only be friends for Alex sake. Stephanie seems to have moved on with Charles but she still calls me once in a while. I just hope vee will give me a chance.
☕ Alexander’s pov ☕
After Morris and Anthony left I couldn’t stay at the office the headache only kept increasing. ” sir I think you should go home now you look so sick ” Nina said and I stared at her she looked so scared for even suggesting I went home.
is that how she see’s me ? like a monster . I smiled at her. ” fine Nina just go tell Dan to get the car ready” I said and she stared at me wide eyed .
” sir…..” she asked shocked. ” you heard me ” I said and she gave a nod . she walked to the door and still turned to check if I was okay.
I arrived at my mansion and I could hear Emma talking to Mia . ” but he’s cute ” Mia said and I frowned.
did my daughter just call a guy cute ? I rushed in forgetting my headache . ” daddy fluffs isn’t blue cute ” she asked hu-gging my worse enemy with her chubby arms . there is nothing cute about that disrespectful animal.
” good evening Mr Alexander,you look sick” Emma said as she unknowingly walked closer and tou-ched my forehead. care has made her forget she’s avoiding me.
” Emerson I’m fine it’s just a slight headache” I said and she frowned. ” slight ? sir you look like you got ran over by a train. ” she said and I chuckled .
” I have a solution to that trouble sir ” she said smiling and I raised my eyebrows. ” o really ” I said and she clapped her hands excitedly . ” of cause trust me ” she said and held my hand like a kid . ” daddy fluffs …I have to go to bed now ” Mia said and kizzed my cheeks . I stared at her , she didn’t look sleepy a while ago. ” sir I’ll just go …” Emma was saying buh Mia stopped her. ” I’m a big big b…ig gril nanny I’m fine , just help daddy fluffs” Mia said and Emma looked confused. Mia ran upstairs and turned to me she winked secretly and my eyes grew wide open.

” sir I’ll just give you an head m@$$age ” she said and I frowned. ” what Emerson Jones I’m not giving you my hair head okay …I just got this new hair cut ” I said frowning.

” sir…..c’mon you have headache that is more serious than your trending hair style” she said sm-irking.
” o and your a nanny not a m@$$ure ” I said and she glared at me. ” sir c’mon I give m@$$ages like an African m@$$ure ” she said and I bit my li-ps to stop myself from laughing.
” c’mon ….” she said and I sat on the chair she dug her soft fingers in my hair and I nearly moa-ned . she seriously is so good at this.
” you see sir your not complaining anymore,that’s why my older brothers Finn and Br@ndon love my hands ” she said laughing.
” Emma you talk a lot ” I said and she chuckled sweetly. ” I’m not boring sir …FYI I have a lot of fans in the neighborhood where I used to live ” she said and I turned to her.
” really ? tell me ” I said and she gave a nod.
” Tintin she’s 5 , cornor he’s 8 and …..” she continued naming all the people she called where kids . my eyes soften at the love she had for kids . I don’t know when I laughed out loud.
” you’re so innocent Emma” I said and she stared at me while I laughed. ” don’t ever stop smiling sir …you look more at peace” she said and I froze . ” I’ll just go to bed ” she said and left.
” I’m done how do I get over her ? ” I asked as my heart beat heavily.
