why is Emma taking so long to get dressed ? I asked annoyed and Mia glared at me making me shut up. remind me never to say anything bad against Emma in front of this little devil.
I checked my watch and opened my mouth to speak, but couldn’t speak . I could feel my heart beat wieredly.
right infront of me Emma looked so different. the most beautiful woman I’d ever seen …I couldn’t take my eyes of it felt like I’d been Bewitched.
” sir…” she called buh I couldn’t look away.
” MR ALEXANDER” she called, more like yelled and I snapped outta my thoughts and Mia laughed.
I looked away and bit my li-ps as I blus-hed.
” let’s huh get going….” I said without looking backwards. the ride to my parents mansion was one akward ride because I couldn’t get myself to stop staring at her.
We arrived at the mansion and Emma jumped down from the car.
” Emerson that’s not lady like” I said and she frowned.
” you already called me the queen of gorillas before sir….” she said stressing the sir pa-rt and I took a de-ep breath and out to calm down.
” wow ” she said with mouth wide open.
” can you please close your mouth Emerson it’s kinda embarr@$$ing when you behave like you’ve never seen a mansion before. I mean you live in one” I said adjusting my tie.
” it’s still surprising ok don’t spoil the moment for me spoilt br@t ” she said mumuring the last pa-rt but I definitely heard it. before I could argue Mia pulled Emma with her.

” baby..wait” I said trying to catch up with Mia. this angel is forgetting I’m on heels . we ran into a group of persons chatting amongst themselves. ” hi …” I said akwardly .
” you definitely nee-d a br@in Emerson” sir said whispering and I glared at him. Mildred is so wrong I mean I’m so not crushing on this wizard .
” Omg Lexy you came ” a young woman around my age ” said as she ran into his arms then kizzed Mia’s cheeks. ” uncle Alex ” two Identical Twins said and hu-gged him then Mia.
” can you guys please allow him to breath first ? another guy asked and ruffled Alexander’s hair. ” Anthony stop” sir complained. ” shut up dude you maybe grown up ,but your still my little bro. ” he said smiling.

” well she’s not” he snapped angrily and then took a de-ep breath to calm down.

” it’s okay I get that a lot with Jake and Jerald. especially when they want something they normally snap” she said laughing realiving the tension.
“sooooooooo….. your the Emma ? Leah the boss’s youngest sister asked smiling.
” guys it’s time for dinner” the cook announced. Mr Alex turned to Mia” okay baby come to daddy” sir said but she snuggled into me making everyone laugh.
” she replaced her father ” Mr Samuel said and they started teasing the boss.
” by the way Emma I’m Mr Samuel and my wife Angela you’ve met us already…” he was saying but someone cut him off.
” guys sorry I’m late” a young woman said coming in with her husband. ” that’s my eldest daughter Olivia and their kids mora and Robbie. then Anthony whom you’ve met, younger to Olivia his wife Vera and twins Jake and Jerald. then there’s Stephanie she’s huh engaged to Charles they’ll arrive late I guess. and Leah the youngest after Alexander. she’s around your age I guess, your boss I’m sure nee-ds to introduction. ” he said and I gave a nod.
” huh …nice to meet you, I’m Emerson Jones I’m twenty three” I said.
” ooh…. seven years younger than Alex ” Olivia said smiling.

” what’s going on” we heard voices and turned due to the clic-king of heels. she was putting on red heels. so pointed they could stab a man to death. her slutty red dress hu-gged her body like a second skin. the red tattoo of a dragon on her brea-st was visible due to the excess clea-vage her dress exp-osed but she looked too beautiful to be true.
se-xy beautiful and hot at the same time with an handsome man in her arms. everyone avoided her as she walked close.
” Alexander” she said and kizzed his cheek.
” hi Stephanie” he said and she smiled. ” good evening ma’am” I said and she turned her attention to me. she stared at me from head to toe her intimidating look made me feel so small as she eyed me with disgust.
” when did servants start attending our family’s dinner” she said rudely and my eyes stung with tears .

” when did servants start attending our family’s dinner ? Stephanie asked sm-irking and Emma froze . she kept staring at her in tears .
Amongst my siblings Stephanie is the most cold hearted selfish one.
it was quite a suprise when she fell in love with Charles. she’s a fashion icon and hates cl@$$less commoners.
she hates people who are not of our status. that’s exactly how she treated and felt about Diana although Diana was from a rich family ,they weren’t from a high cl@$$ family like us .
Stephanie was so against our relationship she would always try to bully Diana. it wasn’t easy for Diana to make her place in stephenie’s heart , but just when she started accepting her she ….” I stopped thinking about that and bit my lower li-p to ease my tense nerves.
“so…….. tell me Emerson….are you fu-cking my brother ? ” Stephanie asked glaring at Emma and everyone gasped.

” JUST … STOP IT STEPHANIE” ” she’s my employee and I won’t let you hurt her like that ,if you think I have something with Emma and your trying to bully her like you normally did to my ex girlfriends even Diana then stop it I won’t tolerate it if you hurt Emma she’s important to Mia & I’ll do anything for Mia” I said angrily and she stood up.
” well congratulations I hope you don’t end up falling for her innocence remember what happened the last time you fell in love Alexander , I’m leaving” she said and left angrily.

” How dare she try to bully me ? I thought as I quickly wiped my tears . and that Mr bossy boss he just sat there and watched her say whatever she liked . I don’t know why that hurt the most.
” hey ” I heard ma’am Leah’s voice and turned. ” hi ma’am leah is Mia already looking for me ? I asked and she smiled.
” no I just wanted to say sorry about what Stephie did earlier that was so rude and uncalled for” ma’am leah said and I chuckled.
” it’s okay ma’am leah,I think ma’am Stephie just doesn’t like me” I said and she frowned.
” she’s never really liked anyone other than herself Emerson so don’t let herself to you” ma’am leah said and I frowned.
” really ? I asked curiously. ” ya she has trust issues ,she’s always been like that with any girl anton and Alex dates . she might be so beautiful on the outside but trust me her personality su-ck s” ma’am leah said and I couldn’t agree more.
” you know what ? I like it that you didn’t keep quiet and let her bully you Stephie can play dirty I tell you” she said smiling.
” by the way has anyone told you just how gorgeous you look darling she asked and I laughed. ” don’t flatter me ma’am” I said and she rolled her eyes. ” don’t call me ma’am we’re agemates call me Lia” she said and I gave a nod.
” c’mon I’ll give you a tour of the mansion” she said and started showing me around . ” and finally right here is your boss Alexander room” she said and I froze .
” really Lia ? then we should leave immediately what if sir catches us ” I said and she laughed.
” Alex hasn’t stepped his legs in here ever since Diana p@$$ed away .” she said sadly and I didn’t know what to say. ” she was a very kind hearted soul Emma I’d never seen my brother that happy like when he first met Diana. they where so happy and in love although Diana’s stepfather was against their union ,they both got married a year later .
they found out there was something wrong and Diana was infertile it wasn’t an easy task for Alex & Diana. but she still had hopes that some kind of miracles would happen and some how they’ll get a child of their own.
the miracle did happen, but it came with a price . Diana or the child’s life . it wasn’t easy for either of them Emma, especially when Diana chose Mia over her life Alex had to watch and count till the day his love did in front of him

” congratulations Mr North your wife gave birth to a baby girl. but there’s a problem sir ” the doctor said and Alex panicked. ” is Diana okay ? can I see her now ? he asked anxiously.
” of cause sir but we are still trying to stop the bleeding her life’s still in danger but she has asked to see you” the doctor said and Alex dashed into the room he looked so tired in his blue dress shirt and black formal pa-nts. showing he ran all the way from the office.
” love how are you. your fine right ? right ? Diana ” he called and she held his arms softly her blue eyes that used to shine brightly like the ocean where now dead cold with no emotions. her cherry li-ps now pale like life itself had been su-ck ed from her li-ps.
” Alexander…..I….I love you okay” she said weakly. ” I know baby just rest don’t stress out I’ll do everything I’ll talk to the doctors…the baby and I nee-d you … I’ll” he kept saying but she held his hands.
” there’s…. nothing we can do about this Alex. I can…feel life leaving slowly” she said and he bit his lower li-p in tears.
” promise me you’ll move on love , please Mia will one day nee-d a mom ….you have to learn….to give love another chance …try loving again” she said and he cried bitterly.
” Diana don’t talk like this I’ll die without you…pls ” he cried like a baby. ” I love you Alex ” she said and he kizzed her forehead.
” I have no regrets” she said and he kizzed her li-ps then her forehead. ” thanks for giving me the best gift I could ever get ” he said and she smiled as tears rolled outta her eyes as she took her last breath. ” I love you too Diana…I always will” he said as he kizzed her forehead and broke down completely.
” Alex ” Morris said and hu-gged him ” patient died 9:26 on 10th of May the nurse said and covered her. ” Diana ……….!!!!! Alex screamed.

I cried bitterly as Lia told me everything. I will help you Alex I promise to be your friend . now I know why you act all cold to keep everyone away . but I won’t give up on you.. I’ll help lessen the pain in your heart” I said in my mind as I wiped my tears.
