” I will have to go get my car at Rohan’s place “Kristi said
” I will drive you there get in ” Jayden replied and enter the car
they got in and drove there silently . Riley kept taking a glance at him .
they go there and Kristi go down and Rohan came out after hearing the car sound .
“oh you are here . why is Jayden not coming down from the car ?” Rohan asked
“he is not feeling too good . I will see you some other time” she replied
” okay ” Rohan replied and walked towards Jayden’s car .
Rohan knocked on the car door and he rolled down the glass slowly.
“hey kid , are you okay ?” Rohan asked
“I’m fine ” he replied
“Riley right? how are doing?” he asked Riley
“I’m fine thanks” she replied
” I will leave now ” Jay said and he nodded before moving away from the car .
“he drove out and Kristi followed him with her car.

” where have you been ?” Mr Thompson asked worriedly as Jayden walked into the house slowly.
” what wrong ? did you cry ? why are your eyes swollen?” Mr Thompson asked but got no response
“Jay ?” he called and was about to hold his hand but he moved away .
“where have you been witch ?” Grace yelled and walked towards Riley
“don’t even think about it ” he said calmly
“what is wrong with him ?” Anna asked and Kim hissed
“who cares ” she replied and rolled her eyes
“you can come in ” Jayden said and Kristi walked in slowly.
“who is she ?” Grace asked as Mr Thompson stood frozen on that spot
” kr… Kristina?” he asked
“yes Mr Thompson. I’m Kristina nice to meet you ” Kristi replied
“my princess has grown into a beautiful lady ” he said and mad to hug her but she moved away .
“oh that is his sister” Anna said and Kim nodded
“what does she want here ?” Grace thought.
” I’m not your princess ” she replied.
“how could you Mr Thompson ? how could you do this to us !” she yelled as tears rolled down her cheeks
“I’m sorry ” he said
“do you think your sorry can bring her back huh? do you know how much you hurt her ?” she yelled
“I’m really sorry Kristi . I was scared that she will also take Jayden away without my knowledge” he replied
“And you killed her !” Jayden yelled angrily
” listen Jay ,I didn’t kill her . I was just scared to let you go because I was not able to talk to Kristi since she left . I thought your mom also wanted to take you away ” he replied
“if I had known that she will die that day, I wouldn’t have done that ” he said regretfully.
” Jayden is old enough now to make decisions for himself , so is up to him if he still want to continue living with a monster like you ” she said
“you knew it Right? you knew it that she was dead and you lied to me that she might be living happily and forgot me ” Jayden yelled
“can you just stop yelling” Kim said and rolled her eyes
Jayden stood up angrily and her neck to the wall tightly, choking her .
” honey he’s gonna kill her ” Grace said worriedly
“Jayden stop ! you’re gonna kill her ” Kristi yelled and pushed him away
Kim fell flat to on the floor while Anna and her mom rushed to her .
“Jayden I’m sorry” Mr Thompson said and wiped his tears
“I hate you dad ” he said and went upstairs and Riley followed him immediately.
” Kristi I’m sorry” he said and hugged her while she cried on his shoulder. 615

Riley. locked the door when she enter and hugged him from the back stoping him from doing anything silly to hurt himself.
“everything will be fine ” she said still back hugging him.
he turned around and hugged her tightly.
“was this what you felt when you lost your parents? does it hurt like this” he asked and she nodded
“you always tell me that everything will be fine ” she said
“it okay to cry them out instead of keeping it in ” she said stroking his hair
he cried silently on her shoulder till he decided not to cry again.
” thanks” he said
he went into the bathroom, showered and got dressed and still met her sitting there.
“I’m fine . you can go and shower and then take a rest ” he replied
” i will be back . don’t do anything silly and I think Kristi is still downstairs” she said and they both walked out
Riley went into her room to shower while Jayden went downstairs.
he met Kristi laying her head on their dad’s thighs.
“Kristi” he called
“she’s asleep” Mr Thompson replied and looked at Jay .
” I will take care of this” Jayden replied and carried Kristi in a bridal style to his room .
after laying her down on his bed . he stare at his mother’s photo and then head towards Riley’s room .
“come in ” Riley said when she heard the knock
he walked in slowly and she smile seeing that he’s no longer crying.he hugged her slowly
“I love you ” he said
“I love you too ” she replied and kissed him after the hug
” she’s asleep” he said and she nodded.
“are you okay ?” see asked
“I’m fine . I’m sorry I couldn’t fulfill my promise to help you study ” he said
“it’s fine I will be able to cover up before next week Monday” she replied
“what are we doing by next week Monday?” he asked like he forgot
“don’t tell me you forgot about our final exam . I can’t wait to get out of high school” she said happily and fell on the bed .
“really ?”” he asked and came on top of her
“what are you doing?” she asked
“this ” he replied and took her lips in slowly.

wat was the meaning of that. he almost killed our daughter” Grace yelled when Mason came in
” I don’t want to talk about anything right now. I’m not in the mood for all this ” he replied and lay down.
“really? you would have just stood there and allow him kill our daughter just like his mom killed my unborn child and made me lost my womb ?” she said
“don’t ever bring their mom into this again” he replied and closed his eyes
“I will make the both of them regret this .that witch should be lucky that she was not with her mom that day” she thought and smirked
“not bad anyway she came back all by herself to die ” she thought and let out a laugh which made Mason opened his eyes
“why are you laughing?” he asked
“none of you business” she replied and left the room .
