EPISODE 19
“Stacy! Eli..!” Ethan ran towards their direction. He was so worried when he heard the gunshot.
“Eli, are you okay?” Aisha asked his son when the culprit was apprehended. She can feel Eli trembling so she his back. Ethan embr@ce them both. He look at the culprit. He was shot in his arms and the police arrested him. Stacy on the other hand, really wanted to confront the culprit but he was already surrounded by the police. Ethan noticed it so he as-sured her.
“Don’t worry honey, I’ll make sure to interrogate him.” He ki-ssed her forehead as he carried Eli in his arms. “Let’s go home first.” Aisha nodded.
“Miss Stacy, Mr. Ethan, we really apologize for what happened earlier,” the chief officer came and apologized to them especially to Stacy. She smiled at him but shock was written all over her face. She’s having a ha-rd time processing all the things that happened.
Ethan as-sisted them inside his car. Stacy can’t drive her car since she was a little bit unstable so he called Larry to bring her car back home.
Meanwhile, Caleb also called Aisha.
“Are you okay?” He asked on the other line.
“Ehmm..” Stacy answered.
“I’m sorry I didn’t arrive on time but I was able to graze the culprit so you can interrogate him further.” Caleb explained.
“I un-derstand.. thank you Caleb.” She mumbled lightly. So it was Caleb who shot him huh. Thank goodness he arrived in time.
She ended the call. Ethan entered and saw her leaning on the backseat with her eyes closed while Eli was lying on her slseping soundly.

Ethan laid Eli on his bed as soon as they arrived at the mansion. He found Stacy sitting at the terrace in de-ep thoughts. He went and sit beside her. He didn’t speak a word. He was actually waiting for Stacy to speak.
After a while, Stacy hu-g her feet to her . She curled up.
“I-I’m sorry,. I bought you and Eli more harm than good..” she said in a minimal tone. She looked away. She can’t look at Ethan.
“It’s my fault that this things happened..” she started to sob.
Ethan didn’t answer. He was silent. He was actually waiting for her to say more.
“I’m sorry..” she was repeating the same phrase over and over again. Ethan frowned.
“It’s no one’s fault.” He answered finally. He went closer then he embr@ced her ti-ghtly. “It was never your fault.” He embr@ced her. Aisha embr@ced him back.

The next morning, Ethan received a phone call from the chief police officer regarding their son’s case. He was told that the man was not aware who the child is. Someone only instructed him to pick up the child. Someone paid him to bring Eli to the park and that certain person will meet them there. The culprit couldn’t give a name as to who paid him, so the police detained him.
Also, Master Omni called Ethan after his conversation with the chief police officer. He heard the news about Eli being kidnap. He was aggravated that he wanted to kill the person behind this.
“Ethan, Don’t you think Eli is safer at grandpa’s mansion?” Aisha suddenly spoke out of the blue. Ethan looked at her curiously..
“I was just thinking, Can we send Eli at grandpa’s house instead? He can do homeschooling there at the same time.” She explained.
“I don’t think he is safe here anymore..” she continued.
“But why? We can just as-sign some of our skilled bodyguards to protect him from here.” Ethan said questioningly.
“I don’t think it will help. It’s not that easy. Those guys seems to be playing around yesterday. I think they did that in purpose.” Aisha was trying to explain it in a simple way.
“What do you mean?” Ethan had a puzzled expression.
Aisha sighed. Looks like she doesn’t have a choice. She stood up and went to her drawer and pulled up 2 envelopes then she handed it to him.
“Butler Antonio handed me those few days ago.” She explained. Ethan was shocked and anger was written all over his face.
Ethan crumpled the envelope when he saw the content. It was all Eli’s pictiures in every angle! Seems like the real culprit was able to approach Eli without any suspicions. Ethan is so upset.
“And you’re telling me this things JUST now?” He was upset.
“I-I’m sorry Ethan. I don’t want to involve you with th—–”
” How could you say that!?” He cut her off. “Eli is my son! He is also my responsibility! Are you saying that I am incompetent!? That I cannot protect my child?!” He yelled. Aisha trembled.
“T-that’s not what I mean, I—–”
“So what? Do you have other reason to keep this from me? Is there’s anything I nee-ded to know,huh, Stacy?”
“I….I…” She can’t tell him that truth.
“How could you keep these matters to me? I really don’t un-derstand! Can you enlighten me?” He’s breaking up.
“Because of your selfishness, you almost hurt Eli! And Yourself!” Ethan decided to walk out the room before saying more painful words to Stacy. He punch the wall as he exited.
“I’m sorry!” Aisha cried silently. “I’m sorry that I can’t tell you everything. I wish I am strong enough to reveal the truth.” She sobs. “I’m so sorry for being selfish all this time. But this is for your own good.” She whispered while crying out her frustrations.
“I have to protect you until my sister comes back for good. But if protecting you means leaving you, then I guess I have no choice. I will definitely depart from your lives as soon as I finish this mission.”
Aisha was in de-ep thought. She sighed a heavy breath. It’s becoming complicated. Guess she nee-ds her Father Demetrius help then.

Ethan went to the resto-bar that he used to visit after his work. He was so upset the whole day when he discovered how Aisha kept the threat on Eli’s life from him. That morning he went to the police station to interrogate the man who took his child the other day. He didn’t get any answer from him. He was telling the truth when he said that someone paid him. Ethan did an investigation on the man’s background and finds out that he was working as a bartender in an unknown bar so he asked the Chief Police officer to rele-ase him but they should continue monitoring him. The real culprit might contact him again. He also lost an important project deal in Japan. Seems like this day isn’t his day at all.
He drunk an amount of alcohol. He’s trying to drain all his emotions. After a while, a woman sat behind him.
“Looks like you had a very bad day.” she talked sweetly. Ethan looked at her. He didn’t care.
“Is that the way you greet your drinking body? I came to join you because you look so pitiful.” She insisted.
“Don’t mind me, just go home”, Ethan motioned her to leave but she clinched closer to him.
“I can’t. I hate to leave you Ethan,” She tried to ki-ss him; but Ethan avoided her.
“Don’t do this Angel. I can’t betray my wife.” He was trying ha-rd to avoid her advances but she is so persistent.
“But it seems like your wife doesn’t care. We had this kind of relationship before, right?” she pulled his head to face her. “Don’t worry babe, I’ll take good care of you tonight.” She ki-ssed him pas-sionately.

At the mansion, Aisha tried to call Ethan numerous times but he’s not answering. His phone was off. She took her smart phone and tried to locate his whereabouts. She was worried since she didn’t see Ethan when she woke up at around 1am. Where could he be? He’s not home yet. He tried to call Larry but Larry told her that they separated at around six in the evening and that he went directly to the resto-bar. Larry gave her the address.
Her tracking device pinned his location—- he is at the Omega Hotel? But what is he doing there? He doesn’t have any schedule tonight as far as she remembered since Larry gave a copy of Ethan’s schedule. Is he still angry at her because of what she did? Aisha put away the tracking phone. She went back to sleep. Guess he doesn’t want to see her then.

Aisha rose up early and prepared breakfast for Eli. Ethan haven’t come home yet. He must be really angry at her. She decided to give him space. She will be leaving them anyway after a couple of weeks, maybe?
Ethan stro-ke his forehead. He had hangover last night as far as he remembered. He was about to stand up but he noticed that he was in a different room. It’s not his own room. Where could he be? His attention was directed to the woman beside him. she’s not Stacy! His eyes wide-ned when he recalled what transpired last night.
“Angel?” he shrieked. Angel suddenly opened her eyes and look at him.
“Ethan, you woke up.” She smiled. She stood up flaunting her body.
“D-did we…?” he unsurely asked. Angel chuckle. She grabs her robe as she covered her ness.
“Ethan babe, what do you think?” she approached him. “A man and a woman inside the hotel?” She clinched closer, “What do you think happened?” she reached his li-ps swiftly. “Should we do it again, Ethan? Coz last night, you look like a hungry wolf wanting for more…” Angel sm-irk as she tried to reach his li-ps again. Ethan stopped her.
“Angel, whatever happen to us last night is not intentional. I hope it won’t happen again.” Ethan stood up and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
“Where do you think you’re going?” angel asked.
“I have work to do.”
“ehm… okay., let’s go together then.” Angel sm-irk.

At the Saphiro Gentz Empire, Aisha felt the sudden craving for an ice cream so she asked Caleb and Lisa if they want to join her. The two definitely like the idea so they all went down the company’s café. They are enjoying the Ice Cream while taking a rest at the VIP lounge. They were laughing at Caleb’s silly stories. Suddenly, they notice that the employees were unexpectedly silent for the time being. Then they notice where their gazes are. Aisha directed her eyes to where the employees are looking. Her eyes wide-ned for a while but she tried to calm herself..
“What is that woman doing in here?” Lisa was aggravated. Aisha took his eyes on them. Lisa and Caleb look at her. They crease a brow. Last time they saw her; she was ready to murder that woman.
“Hey, Aisha! did you see how clingy that woman to your husband is?” Lisa tap her hands.
“Ehm..” she slightly smiled.
“Did you two fought again?” Caleb asked.
“Ehmm..” it was just her answered.
“Aisha, just give me the signal so I can skin that woman alive!” Lisa yelled.
“It’s okay Lisa. Just don’t mind them.” she interrupted her.
“Oh well, look who’s here.” a woman approached them.
“Angel.,!” Lisa is about to stand up to bitc-h slap her but Caleb seized her arms. Aisha didn’t even bother to look at her.
“Guys, let’s go…” Aisha commanded the two. She stood up first as she walked towards the lounge exit but she froze. Ethan was standing in front of her. They just stared at each other. Ethan was holding a cu-p of coffee when Angel holds her arm. Angel was trying to provoke her but Aisha didn’t even look at her.
“Oh by the way, in case you were looking for your husband last night, don’t worry we’re —–”
“Angel!” Ethan stopped her. He shrugs Angel’s hands on his arms. Then Ethan walked inside the lounge. Aisha heard her but she can’t freak out. So she decided to pas-s by her, however, Angel was able to whisper in her ear in a quick manner.
“He’s with me the whole night.” Angel sm-irk. Aisha pause then she looks at her then back to Ethan. Ethan look away.
Aisha felt her heart sting a bit. No! it’s not just a simple sting. It hurts. She continues to walk. Instead of walking back to her office, she decided to go outside the building. Caleb and Lisa followed her. They were just standing behind her. They un-derstood what Angel was about to say and they know Aisha is not stupid to not un-derstand what she meant.
Aisha heaved a heavy sigh.
“Come! I know exactly where we should go…” Caleb smiled. He holds her hands then the three jog towards the road then grab a taxi.
Ethan saw how Caleb held her hands. He was looking at them intently until they rode a taxi. He clenched his fist.
