It was alre-ady a Monday morning, Mrs Scott watched her son hurry out of the house before she noticed a red mark on his ne-ck.
“Ryan? Wait… What happened to your –
“Nothing, It’s fine” He interrupted raising his shirt collar up to close the mark.
“You didn’t Knott your tie? Where is it? Did you lose it?” Mrs Scott asked.
“It’s in my bag” Ryan chuckled.
“Huh,… My ne-ck hurts slightly and someone wouldn’t like to see me wear it on my pained ne-ck” He added.
“Huh? Who?” Mrs Scott asked confused.

“Sém!” ru-by heard a voice loudly and turned behind.
She met Ryan running towards her.
“Hey? Don’t..uhmm, Don’t come closer to me, I don’t want people suspecting” ru-by whispered
Ryan laughed and quickly whispered to her ears;
“I love you so much”
ru-by laughed and saw him run to the school gate.
“He is so nau-ghty” She whispered.
“who?” A tiny voice asked.
“Holy Molly! You scared the cra-p out of me” ru-by screamed facing Martha who was beside her facing down.
“No one really, I just thought of– Wait a minute,Why am I even replying you?, Run to school, You are late” ru-by said leaving her behind.
Martha walked slowly and then halted suddenly.
“Are they finally dating?” She smiled.

It was alre-ady break time and Ashley and Barbara could be seen laughing and walking as they linked their arms together.
They sat on the Cafeteria chair.
“Hey, Ashley” Barabr@ called.
“Huh? what is it?” Ashley replied
“You noticed Marco, right?”
“Marco, The tall ugly guy with the stupid glas-ses that cleans the board?”
“Come on, Ashley… Don’t talk like that, He is actually handsome”
“As if? No one beats my Ryan… Ever” Ashley mocked
“I think you should give up on Ryan alre-ady” Barbara said sipping her jui-ce
“No, I won’t… Never!” Ashley replied.
Martha came to them and bowed her head and asked;
“i’m sorry but mind if I join you, The seats here are filled up alre-ady”
They both nodded.
“thank you” Martha replied softly as she sat down and began to eat the chips she bought.
“So, as I was saying..You should give up on Ryan, I think he likes someone else”
“Who is that, Bestie?” Ashley asked curiously
Martha coughed loudly and quickly drank a bottle of water.
“oh my, i’m really sorry for being so curious, but are you guys friends now?” Martha asked pointing at them both.
They both smiled and nodded.
“oh wow” Martha smiled.
“Well, Answer me… Who’s that then?” Ashley asked sipping her americano latte.
“It’s obvious he likes someone but I don’t really know the person, but I think Marco likes you”
Ashley was shocked and irritated when she heard that and had to spill all the contents of latte from her mouth.
“Oh Geez! Bestie!” Barbara said disgusted.
“Ewwwwwww! I almost threw up, It’s Ryan or no b©dy… Okay? But who told you by the way?”
“It’s obvious, His eyes has been on you since day one, And he is still looking at you right now” Barabr@ smiled looking at the other side where Marco stayed still stealing glances at Ashley.
“That’s his damnfu-cking business”
“Hmm… Bestie, Give him a chance, He even told me to tell you what he feels about–
“Are you his spokeperson now?” Ashely cut in.
“Oh goodness, Ashley… I’ve given up, It’s your life” Barabr@ said as they both dug into their food.
Suddenly, a co-ckroach climb£d on their table.
Ashley and the others saw it.
“AAAHHHH!!!” Ashley yelled
“Hey, it’s just a co-ckroach, What’s your deal” Barbara asked laughing.
“I hates co-ckroaches! Get it away before it comes closer”
“Hates co-ckroaches? Everyone hates co-ckroaches,More like you are scared of them?”
“Yeah, Right… Kill that thing before its comes here! plea-se!”
“she is really scared of it, shouldn’t we kill it?” Martha asked Barbara who laughed.
“Let her be, I know my bestie well… Even though we love each other so much, We also like laughing at each other” Barbara replied laughing the more.
The co-ckroach seemed to behave like it was being controlled! It came closer and closer to Ashley who kept yelling and screaming.
Just then, Marco came with a swift and stepped on the co-ckroach which killed it instantly.
Ashley calmed down finally and looked at Barbara slightly angry.
Barbara continued laughing while Martha smiled.
“Why did you help me? Huh? Move… Barbara let’s leave here” Ashley said gr-abbing Barbara hand.
“You could have just said Thank you… ” Barbara said as they linked arms and walked away.
“Why would I? That ugly guy? Damn…. I’m not stupid, Didn’t even ask for his help…..Just so you know, I’m still angry with you though” Ashley replied.
Barbara laughed as they both walked together.
They saw Peter and Ryan together in the hallway discussing and laughing while using their phones.
“Hey Peter… Uhmm, I nee-d to talk to you” Barbara said wi-nking at Peter secretly.
Peter smiled and looked at Ryan.
“Alright, Let’s go…See you later, Ryan ” Peter replied as they both left.
Ryan nodded.
“Oppa!” Ashley called running towards Ryan.
“No, Stop… Don’t come any further!” Ryan cautioned.
Ashley stomped her feet angrily finally asked ;
“She’s awfully lucky huh?”
“Who?” Ryan asked.
“The girl–The girl you like!”
“Ashley, I’m done talking to you about things like this” He said as he walked away.
Ashley ran to him and hu-gged him ti-ght.
“Hey? What do you think you are doing right now?” Ryan asked.
“Don’t you feel anything for me? Is your heart not fluttering right now, I really love you,Why don’t you feel the same way for me? Am I not pretty enough?” Ashley asked hu-gging him ti-ghter.
Just then, ru-by came out from Mr Tyson office and saw this.
Her eyes blinked as she caught them on this act.
Ryan pushed her away from his b©dy which made her fall.
“Owww” She gro-an ed in pain.
“I really didn’t want to push you, But it’s your fault” Ryan said.
ru-by just walked away from them.
However,Ashley couldn’t give up yet. Still on the floor, She held his leg with her hand.
Ryan on the other hand wanted to move but he couldn’t, He looked down and was surprised seeing Ashley hold onto his leg.
“Don’t leave me, plea-se” She said.
“I think you are really going out of control… It’s really advisable you visit a psychiatrist” He said as he pu-lled his leg away.
He walked away and finally caught up with ru-by. He tried holding her hand but She was quick in dodging it.
“Don’t tou-chme” She said.
“I can explain… It’s not my –”
“No, I’m not talking about that though, I trust you, I guess she is just being clingy” ru-by cut in
“So why don’t you want me to hold your hand?” Ryan asked.
“Goodness, Ryan… We are in school”
“Alright then, Well… You just came out of Mr Tyson’s office,Why did you guys talk about?”
ru-by laughed.
“Why? Are you curious?”
“Of course, I’m your boyfriend, I should know… I’m kind of jealous” He said spouting his li-ps.
“Shhhhs…What if someone hears you, Boyfriend indeed”
“I’m jealous, Just tell me”
“Alright then, Jealous Mister, Well… He called me concerning Mike’s case. He was shocked about it and swore to take it to court for me,Most teachers and Students has also heard about it and has been rushing to my office ever since” She sighed.
“You must be tired…Sorry”
“Yeah, Uhhhhhhh……. Actually–To be sincere, I was actually jealous then too”
“When? –Oh, Don’t tell me… Ashley? When she hu-gged me?”
ru-by nodded childishly.
“Come on, Sém… Just know you are the only one for me” He smiled.
“I know right”
Ryan chuckled and looked around to see if anyone was coming while ru-by looked at him suspiciously.
Ryan smiled after looking around and faced her.
“Just give me 5 seconds” He said.
“5 seconds? Why do you –
Her words were cut short by Ryan li-ps being pushed into hers.
5……. His li-ps de-eply ki-ssed her pas-sionately with his closed eyes.
4…….He ki-ssed her pretty slowly as ru-by closed her eyes slowly.
3……..She could feel his ton-gue dance along with the rhythm of hers.
2……..She felt her upper li-p munch slowly into his mouth.
1……..He ki-ssed her fas-ter and stopped.
He finally opened his eyes and looked at her as ru-by opened her eyes slowly.
“Hey” She whispered.
“Don’t ask me why I did it, Because you closed your eyes, Responded to the ki-ss and didn’t bother to push me away”
“Ryan, We are in school… What if someone saw us”
“Well, I checked… No one did” He smiled as he left.
“This nau-ghty Ryan” She chuckled as she walked away.
(de-ep SILENCE)
Martha came out of the corner where she hid, They probably didn’t hear her footsteps when she was coming. Well,Everyone knows that her feet and shoes never makes sound when she walks.
“So, They are actually dating after all,If only they knew–” She thought aloud and sighed de-eply.

Peter and Barbara were seen ki-ssing de-eply at a corner down the stairs.
Peter paused and looked at her with his hands wra-pped around her wa-ist.
“What is it?” Barbara asked looking into his eyes.
“It’s about Ashley… Do you really trust her?” Peter asked.
Barbara sighed.
“I do, Trust me… If it’s about our secret, She won’t tell a soul,I promise… She is a good friend even though she is quite obsessed with Ryan though, But I and Ashley still love each other as besties, Ashley isn’t bad as you think she is but she still got her flaws too though” Barbara replied.
Peter smiled and ki-ssed her forehead and looked at her.
“If you trust her, I will too, Let’s go… Ashley must be waiting for you” Peter said.
Barbara smiled and nodded as both of them left the scene.
At that moment, Martha came out where she was hiding too.
“Our pretty lovers, They haven’t changed one bit” Martha smiled.

“I’m home!” ru-by shouted.
“Welcome, Aunt ru-by!” Mira greeted with a smile.
ru-by smiled back and patted her head.
Beckey rushed to her.
“That stupid man!” Beckey said.
“Who?” ru-by asked.
Beckey sighed and looked at Mira.
“Mira, Go to your room….I want to talk to Aunt ru-by, Okay?” Beckey told Mira.
Mira nodded her head and left.
“Mike of course, No wonder you once asked me about s-xual haras-sment…I’m sorry about what you went throu-gh in that je-rk’s hands, Well… He is in the process of getting sued”
“It’s okay now though”
ru-by smiled and went to the table. A mug was on the table, She stretched her hand to gr-ab the milkshake and that was when, Her elbow mistakenly to-uched the mug and it fell down and broke into pieces.
“Oh my! Are you okay? Hope it didn’t scratch or hurt you?” Beckey asked ru-by who kept staring at the Mug’s broken pieces. Her hands trembled as she looked on. Her heart beat became fas-ter.
Just then, The door bell rang.
“Let me clean this, ru-by… Go get the door, plea-se,Huh… Mira! Your father is here alre-ady” Beckey said.
“Dad?” Mira shouted running out of the room.
She ran to the door and kept jumping in order to reach the door handle so that she would open it.
“ru-by? ru-by? Can you get the door?,Mira is finding it ha-rdto pu-ll the door’s handle” Beckey asked ru-by who was lost in thoughts still looking at the broken mug.
“Huh? Oh.. Ehmmm… Su–Sure” ru-by muttered as she went close to Mira. Mira adjusted a bit as ru-by gr-abb£d the door handle.
She opened it and looked at the person in shock that she even had to cover her mouth while her whole b©dy seemed to shook in fear.
“Dad!…” Mira said hu-gging her father who stared at ru-by without a word.
“This is my Dad, Aunt ru-by…. And Dad, This is the Aunt I asked you to marry, You guys would look great together as couples” Mira added.
“You think so?” Mira’s father voiced out.
“I know so” Mira replied with a chuckle.
ru-by continued looking at Mira’s father as he stared back at her.
The stage finally moved to him and Lo and Behold, It was – Philli-p.
