( THE WEDDING )
“Are you sure about this decision of yours?” Ben asked as he watch Logan clear his desk for the day.
“I am. I can’t let Susan down” he replied.
“But you are getting married to her! How is that helping her?” Ben yelled at him but Logan only gave a smile in return.
The opening of the door prevented him from giving a reply.
“Every thing is set sir ” His secretary informed.
“Is Susan ready?” Logan asked.
“She’s all set and is waiting at the church” the secretary replied.
“Then lets go” Logan said wanting to leave but Ben held onto his hand.
“Don’t do this”
“Stop over reacting and let’s go” Logan said as he pulled out his hand before leaving the office.
“This is bad and where is Whitney to stop all this!” Ben muttered.
He pulled out his phone and dialled Whitney number and when she didn’t pick, he decided to call Elizabeth who answered on time.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with the both of them but just let Whitney know this” Ben said before ending the call.
On the other hand, Elizabeth who was getting ready for class turned to Whitney as she join her in their room.
“What’s wrong?” Whitney asked
“This is bad. Logan is getting married” Elizabeth said and on hearing that Whitney felt a pain in her heart, some thing which got her seating on the bed.
“Are you okay? Is everything fine with your heart?” Elizabeth asked.
“Yes, am just shocked by what you’ve said. Is it true? Is he getting married?” Whitney asked.
“He is. Ben called to tell me about it”
“Wh…who is he getting married to?” Whitney asked.
“Who else if it isn’t Susan. You need to stop him, you’ve got to….”
“Let’s go to class, we will be late” Whitney said as she stood up to get her things.
“Wait, aren’t you going to do some thing about this?” Elizabeth asked her.
“What do you want me to do? If he’s getting married to Susan then he must have realized that we are not meant to be and that’s what have wanted all along” she muttered looking sad when she said the last part.
“So you won’t do a thing?”
“I won’t. Let’s go to class or we will be late” Whitney said as she left the room and reluctantly Elizabeth followed.
While the professor called for attendance, Whitney sat in silence deep in thought.
When the professor called her name, she didn’t reply.
Elizabeth who was seated by her side gave her a nudge only for her to get up.
“What’s wrong?” The startled Elizabeth ask.
“I can’t let him get married to her, I just can’t” Whitney answered before running out of class with Elizabeth following suit.
Thanks to a friend of theirs, they took her car to the venue and through the whole of ride Whitney kept urging Elizabeth to drive fast.
As soon as they got to the church, Whitney got out of the car hurrying up the stairs.
Mean while, Logan and Susan stood in front of the altar while the little guest that had invited watch them get married.
“If anyone here is against this marriage, he or she should speak or forever hold their peace” the priest said and when no one said a thing.
He cleared his throat to continue the ceremony when the door burst open revealing Whitney.
“Don’t get married to her!” Whitney yelled as she drew everyone’s attention on her.
“Whitney” Logan called while Ben let out a slow smile.
“You can’t get married to her, I won’t let you!” Whitney declared and as soon as she got to where he was, she took hold of his hand and pulled him out of the church Leaving every one starring after them.
“Here you go” Elizabeth said as she threw her the car keys.
“Get in, Logan” Whitney ordered.
“Whitney you’ve got it wrong, I….”
“Get in or I swear I will do some thing you don’t like” She threatened and slowly Logan got into the car while she drove them off.
Elizabeth watch the car drove off with a smile on her face.
She’s glad that she made it on time to church to stop the wedding, she thought as she turned only to see Ben starring at her.
“Isn’t your friend some thing?” Elizabeth yelled as she walk towards him.
“How can he get married to some one when he claim to be in love with Whitney. Is this how men change their words?” Elizabeth asked as she lay her anger on him.
“And who told you that he’s getting married to her?” Ben asked confusing Elizabeth for a while.
“But you called and told me about the wedding” she said softly.
“I did but I missed telling you the important part which is that this wedding they pulled is all a fake” Ben said.
“Fake?”
“Yes. Susan younger sister is an event planner, she recently joined a bid and to win that bid she needs to send in a video of one of the best wedding she has organized and since the one she’s done in the past doesn’t please her, she thought about creating a fake wedding for the bid which led to her talking about it with Susan who ended up asking for Logan’s help”
“So all of what you saw today is a fake wedding for the bid” Ben explained.
“That’s good to know. For a while I really thought that he’s getting married to her and….oh! Thanks to what you told me, I gave Whitney the wrong information. It’s best that I call her” Elizabeth said as she tried to make a call but Ben stop her.
“Let them talk about it themselves. We’ve done enough for them and so Its up to them to finish it” Ben suggested which got her agreeing.
“Now that Whitney and Logan are both together. Why don’t we talk about us” Ben said lightly.
“What’s there to talk about?” Elizabeth ask as she turn away from him but he took hold of her hand and pulled her into his arms.
“What are you…”
“You ran away the other day I told you of my feelings and you are trying to do it again” He cut in abruptly.
“I didn’t run away, I just didn’t want to say a thing and….”
“You’ve got to say it now. Do you feel the same or am I just wasting my time with you? You’ve got to let me know rather than to keep me hanging” Ben stated firmly.
“Well I….I….I….you came onto me too fast and it’s hard trying to think things through and so it’s best if we….”
“I get it. It’s best if we stay away from each other, I was wrong to fall In love with you” he said as he turned to leave but she pulled him back and gave him a startling kiss on the lips.
“Am not saying we should stay away from each other. What I meant is that we give it a try cause I…I feel some thing too” she said when she pulled away from him.
Ben could only stare at her and feeling shy she ran off leaving him starring after her.

~ BEACH ~
Whitney stopped the car abruptly and Logan turn to stare at her.
He was about to speak when she got out of the car.
Logan got out of the car too and slowly made way to where she stood.
“Whitney you’ve got to…” He was cut off when she began to hit him on the chest.
“How could you! How can you agree to get married to some one else when you told me you love me! Do feelings change that easily? It’s just been three days since I left and I know that what I said to you back then was mean but still….how can you choose to marry her? How can you agree to stand on the aisle with some one other than me. After making me fall helplessly for you!” She said as she continued to hit his chest before bursting out in tears.
“What did you just say?” Logan asked and when she kept crying not saying a word to him, he took hold of her cheek and force her to stare at him
“Are you in love with me?” He asked.
“Do you really have to ask?” She choked out softly and that got him smiling.
“The wedding with Susan is all a fake. It isn’t real ” he said and that stopped the sobs.
“Really?”
“Really. How can I marry some one else when am in love with you, do you really think that low of me?” He asked which got her shaking her head.
“Then you should believe me when I tell you that I love you. Infact I was thinking of ways to prove to you that we belong to each other when you showed up”
“I love you Whitney, it has always been you. Crystal saved you for one reason and that reason is to make my life whole again so don’t you think of leaving me. Now that you’ve confess to me, I don’t plan to let you go” He declared softly.
“And I don’t plan to leave you,ever” she added lightly before giving him a kiss which Logan reciprocate.
They pulled apart to stare at each other and grinning widely, Logan turn to the sea.
“She’s finally mine” he yelled out which got her bursting out In laughter.
“Whitney is mine and no one else!” He yelled out again and bending towards her, he lifted her into his arms spinning her around on the soft sand.
“Put me down, Logan” she said as she gently hit his arm which got him putting her down.
“So? Are you moving back with me?” Logan asked.
“If you still want me to” she replied.
“Of course I want you….”
“Oh no! I was in the middle of an important class when I came to you. Have got to get back to the hospital before I get an F” she said as she quickly went back to the car while he went to join her.

~ BRIGHAM HOSPITAL ~
“What did you just say?” Luther asked Romeo who stood firm in front of him.
“I said that I want to break the deal we have ” Romeo said again.
“So you are willing to break your engagement with my daughter and stop me from supporting your treatment right?” Luther asked which got him nodding.
“Have you told Mary about this?”
“I haven’t, I just wanted you to know about it first” Romeo answered.
“Fine then. You can leave my office and make sure you give the news to Mary yourself” Luther told him and Romeo nodded before leaving his office.
He should have made the decision a long time.
Now that he has finally made his decision, he’s going to get his love which is Whitney….
