★ OH, AXEL… ★
It took almost all of Melanie’s being not to retrace her steps and rush to his arms, telling him how much she’s grown to love him.
She continued walking dejectedly as balls of tears kept rolling down her cheeks. She could feel her heart slowly ripping out of her chest.
Kylie, who was pa-ssing by with Leon, happened to see her. His eyes wide-ned on noticing her tears and he didn’t know when he got to her front.
On seeing him, Melanie stopped walking and never bothered to clean her tears. Rather, she kept crying.
Kylie cupped her face in his hands, rubbing it soothingly as he stared de-eply into her eyes.
“Why are you crying?” He asked softly.
“Did that bastard hurt you? Did he?” He asked again.
Melanie shook her head, still crying hard.
“I love him,” a sob wrenched out of her throat.
“I love him so much, I can’t…” She choked on her tears.
Kylie watched in sadness as her tears kept falling freely on her cheeks. He stretched his arm and pulled her to his chest, rubbing her hair before placing a light ki-ss on it.
“It’s okay, just calm down first, huh?” He whispered gently.
Melanie stood still in his arms as her tears we-t his clothes badly. Slowly, her tears died down but she couldn’t stop sniffing.
Kylie broke the hug to stare at her, his thumbs went to her eyes and he cleaned her tears off.
“What happened?” He asked gently.
Melanie explained everything to him, including the part that Ace was her ex.
“And do you think that’s the best thing? Staying away from him?” He asked.
Meanwhile, Leon stood there waiting patiently for them as he couldn’t help but to eavesdrop on their conversation.
“I don’t want them to become enemies because of me,” Melanie mumbled
“It’s not up to you, Melanie. If they become enemies, that’s because they chose to, not your fault.”
“He betrayed you, he didn’t even think of friendship with your best friend, yet he did that awful act to you. Staying away isn’t the best thing, rather you should be with him, I’m sure he needs you the most at this time,”
“I thought you loved me,” Melanie said slowly.
Kylie chuckled.
“Of course I do, but I want your happiness first. If Ace claims to love you like he said, then he should let you do what makes you happy.”
“As long as you’re happy Melanie, then I’m content,” he muttered gently.
Melanie smiled before engulfing him in a friendly hug.
“Thank you, Kylie,” she whispered.

CHEMISTRY LAB***
Aaron rushed into the empty Chemistry lab and met Axel present, his head was on the table.
He sighed before walking briskly to him.
“Buddy,” he muttered.
Axel raised his head and a surprise gasp left Aaron’s li-ps, on noticing Axel’s bloodshot eyes.
“Holly, Molly!” Aaron exclaimed, rushing to Axel immediately.
“What the fuc-k , what happened?!” He questioned.
Axel sighed before rubbing his face with his palms.
“She left me,” he whispered.
“She…” He bit his li-ps.
“I don’t think I can ever be happy again,” he whispered again.
“Wait, lemme understand you. Melanie left? Why?” Aaron asked, he’s surely in a confused state.
“She doesn’t want to be the bone of contention between me and Ace. She left,” Axel shut his eyes tightly. Mere thinking about it, sent a sharp pain de-ep inside his heart.
Can he ever cope without seeing her face? Her cute eyes? Her voice which he’s grown addicted to? Her li-ps which he can’t do without eating em’ up?
“I can’t do without her, I can’t,” he shook his head.
Aaron sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder.
“I know. I know how much you love her and I know how it’ll be so ha-rd for you, but can you just give her a little time? I perfectly understand her plight, I understand her emotions right now,”
“You can never understand,” Axel muttered and stood up. He faced Aaron and flashed a little smile at him
“Have you heard from Ace and Aiden?” He asked.
“They aren’t picking their calls, I really don’t know why they’re both acting up. And Aiden? fuc-k ,”
“I’ll just do what they want, that should be better” Axel said.
“What has that gotten to mean?” Ace asked, staring at him suspiciously.
Axel smiled briefly and patted his arm, then he left the lab.
“Axel!” Aaron rushed after him.

Lauren and Paisley both exchanged glances after Melanie was done narrating the incident to them.
“Do you know I feel like smacking your head right now?” Lauren asked.
“How could you do that to him? That guy had done nothing but to love you, why would you stay away all because of that foolish Ace??!” She suddenly yelled.
“Or, have you forgotten? I’ll gladly remind you then,”
“This so-called Ex betrayed you, he didn’t even think twice before performing an ungodly act with your friend? Did he think about your feelings then? Did he?”
“fuc-k Lanie, you keep disappointing me as days pas-sby, learn to stop being soft!”
“You shouldn’t be doing this right now,” Paisley suddenly spoke up.
“Annie is going throu-gha lot right now and you saying those words is hurting her the most. You should stop” she muttered.
“I don’t just want them to become enemies all because of me, I don’t. They’ve been friends and I have to destroy that?” Melanie cried gently.
Paisley sat beside her and held her arm gently.
“As much as I’m surprised after hearing your confession, I really think you shouldn’t have done that. You love him, right? And he loves you too. Leaving at this point in time is surely not the best thing, but I can a-ssure you that everything will be fine,”
“First time I’ve ever heard something reasonable from her,” Lauren scoffed whilst smiling secretly.
Melanie was forced to laugh, she rested her head on Paisley’s shoulder, wrapping her arms around her back.
“Thank you, Pais,” she whispered.
Lauren frowned and quickly went to join them, she hug-ged Melanie too.
“You can’t leave me out of the picture too,” she muttered.
Paisley laughed.

THREE DAYS LATER***
The news about the broken friendship between the A4 was all around the school, especially when Ace made it so obvious.
Ace and Aiden were most seen walking around together while Aaron was always alone. Axel was seldom seen in the school.
???? It’s Axel, gosh!
???? Look at that perfect jaw,
???? Is he a thing with Sierra now?
The students’ eyes were glued to their phone and they entered the school premises.
Melanie stared at the picture on her phone and her heart pricked with jealousy instantly.
Axel and Sierra were both shooting together, their li-ps almost touching. If she hadn’t looked closer, she’d have thought they ki-ssed each other there.
Worst still, Axel had a flirty smile on his face and Sierra putting on a bit-ch y smile.
Melanie bit her li-ps hardly before letting her phone down. It’s been three days since she last set her eyes on him, it was as though he disappeared from the surface of the earth.
Now, she regret ever asking him to stay away from her, because she never stopped missing him for once.
“Hey,” Julie pats her arm from behind.
“Hi,” Melanie smiled briefly.
Julie returned to school two days ago. According to her, she was ill and that was why she hadn’t been coming to school.
“Have you heard the latest news?” Julie asked as they both continued their journey.
“About what?” Melanie asked,half interested in what she was saying.
“Axel,” Julie muttered.
That piqued Melanie’s interest immediately, so she turned to her.
“What about him?” She asked.
“Well… He’s been signing with a lot of agencies and with the way things are, he might get more famous that this,”
“Gosh, I actually missed his presence here,” Julie sighed.
Melanie stared at her.

WINK MODELLING AGENCY***
Axel was in the dressing room when Sierra entered. She smiled when her eyes landed on his bare back.
“Has anyone ever told you that you look so perfect?” She asked as she took her steps towards him.
“Yea… You,” Axel rolled his eyes and wore his shirt.
Sierra chuckled when she finally got to him. She rested her b*tt on the dressing table and folds her arms across her chest.
“Why can’t we just date?” She asked.
“I mean, we’re cute together. We fit so perfectly and…” Her breath hitched in her throat when he was already close to her, their face inches apart.
“What…” She stuttered, swallowing hard.
“I love my girlfriend,” he whispered, shocking her to the core.
“What? What?” She blinked her eyes in shock.
Axel smirked before straightening himself.
“We shooting together doesn’t mean I like you or something, it’s something that has to be done. So, don’t ever think of getting into a relationship with me cos you’re gonna get hurt at the end,” he muttered.
“Is that how much you love her?” Sierra asked, biting her li-ps gently.
“More than my life,” Axel whispered with a smile.
“She’s so lucky, very” Sierra muttered.
Axel’s mind drifted to Melanie and he couldn’t help but to wonder how she was faring. Was she eating well unlike him?
“Very lucky,” he agreed with a smile.

THE BRAUN MANSION****
Ariel screamed loudly as she entered the house, her eyes glued to her phone.
“Mom! Dad!” She screamed.
Mrs. Braun got startled by her yells, she stood up in fright.
“What’s wrong, hunny?” She asked.
Ariel showed them her phone, it was a picture of Axel and Sierra shooting together.
“What’s the meaning of this?” Mrs. Brown asked, showing her husband the phone.
“Axel is a model now. He’s shooting with a lady, just look at their position!” Ariel cried.
Mr. Braun clenched his jaw as rage boiled inside him. He had always wondered why Axel hadn’t contacted him but it was all because of this??
“He won’t get away with this,” he suddenly growled.

MONASH UNIVERSITY***
“We need to talk,” Aaron said to Aiden and Ace as he walked to them.
“About what? If it’s about Axel, then count me out” Ace walked away.
“When are you going to stop this childish act!!!” Aaron yelled which made Ace stop on his tracks.
“Do you even care to know what’s up with him? Do you know what he goes throu-ghat night all because you guys deserted him, do you??” Aaron yelled.
He faced Aiden with a disappointing look on his face.
“You both are something else, seriously. And you know what? I won’t even care anymore, you can go to hell for all I care” Aaron rolled his eyes before walking away.
At that time, Melanie pa-ssed by with Paisley beside her.
Immediately her eyes set on his own, she rolled it before walking away. Paisley never glanced at him either.
That was how things were for the past three days. They never gave him any attention which hurts like hell.
“I don’t care about what he says, all I know is that I’m never forgiving him” Ace muttered to himself.

“Can you guys go alone without me? I have a thing to do,” Melanie muttered on their way home. Lectures had ended and they were all heading home.
“Where?” Lauren asked.
“I need to do something, I’m going crazy enough as it is”
“What should I tell Aunt?” Paisley asked.
“That I’ll be back,” Melanie smiled briefly before rushing away.
“She’s been acting strange,” Julie muttered.
“I think you should be saying that to yourself,” Paisley rolled her eyes.
“Anyways, see ya’ later” she went away.

MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
As soon as Melanie set her feet into the house, the scene of she and Axel welcomed her immediately.
The scene at the kitchen, the goodbye ki-ss, his smile.
She found her legs moving fast towards his room. Her hand touched the doorknob and twisted it slowly, the smell of cigarettes hitting her nose immediately.
She stepped inside the room and her eyes wide-ned when she saw him sitting on the floor. He was smoking heavily while staring at something on his phone.
As she moved closer to the bed, she realized it was a picture of her and tears escaped her eyes immediately.
“You promised to stop smoking,” she whispered slowly.
All at once, he raised his head and his eyes dilated in shock when he saw her.
He scoffed. It was surely one of his hallucinations.
“What’s the use, we’re not together anymore,” he mumbled.
Melanie sniffed and walked to him. She stretched her hand and snatched the stick away from him, she threw it to the ground.
“I miss you,” a sob escaped her li-ps.
“It was ha-rd for me, I thought I could do it but it turns out that I couldn’t, not when you were avoiding me,” she continued crying.
“I miss you so much that I almost ran crazy, it was hell for me,”
All throu-gh, Axel’s eyes were on her. His hand was itching to wipe her tears badly but he controlled himself.
Slowly, he got to his feet and walked towards the door. Just as his hand met with the doorknob, she said the unexpected
“I love you!” She yelled.
“I don’t care if you’re Ace’s friend, I don’t care if you were once a playboy, I love you!”
Axel turned to her, his eyes lingering on her face which was a bit far away from him.
In a flash, he was before her. His hand gripping her wa-isttightly and his li-ps smashing on her own.
Almost immediately, her hands went around him, pulling him impossibly closer to herself, while ki-ssing him hard.
Axel broke the ki-ss slowly, his eyes fixed on her rosy li-ps.
“Say that again,” he whispered, rubbing her cheek with his fingertips.
“I love you,” Melanie whispered, breathing heavily.
Axel smiled cutely.
“I love you more bae, and I want to stay with you…”
“Forever,” they whispered at the same time.
Their li-ps met in a fierce ki-ss, ki-ssing each other with nothing but hunger which was stirring de-eply inside them.
Axel heads to the bed while still ki-ssing her, they fell on it and his li-ps went to her neck immediately, inhaling her sweet scent which he missed a lot.
His li-ps were performing its usual magic on her neck while his hand crept to her blouse, getting a hold of her br*east which was caged in its bra.
He squee-zed it gently and this time Melanie let out a loud yet seductive mo-an.
“Oh, Axel…”
