★ CAN I RETURN THE ki-ss? ★
Kylie was in the cla-ss, eye searching for Melanie when he heard some students gossiping amongst each other.
“Did you hear what happened?”
“James tried to ra-pe Melanie in the restroom, thankfully Axel saved her”
“What?!” Kylie stood up.
“What did you just say? James did what?” He asked, almost shouting.
The girls exchanged glances.
“In the restroom, Melanie was almost ra-ped by…” Kylie was already out of the clas-sbefore they could complete that sentence.
“What’s wrong with him?” A girl shrugged.
“What you said just now, is it true?” Leon asked.
“Yes, she was almost ra-ped but Axel saved her. You need to see James face, it was unrecognizable” a girl giggled.
“I really can’t imagine what’d have happened if Axel didn’t get there on time” another girl said.
Paisley sat in a corner listening to them.
“Melanie was almost ra-ped?” She wondered to herself.

A4’S SUITE***
The whole house was filled with smoke as Axel continued smoking.
The scene of James ki-ssing Melanie kept popping on his head and he could feel himself getting angry.
“I should have just broken his balls,” he gritted.
Aaron, Aiden and Ace entered the house. They coughed loudly as the smoke in the house hit their nose.
“What the fuc-k man!” Aaron coughed.
“Dude, are you okay?” Ace asked. It was unusual for Axel to be smoking this way.
“Is what I heard true? That James tried to ra-pe Melanie in the restroom?” Aiden suddenly said.
“James did what?!” Ace half yelled.
“Where did you hear that from?” Axel asked as he stopped smoking.
“Everyone is talking about it. And, they said you saved her?”
“Is that true? Did James tried to ra-pe Melanie?” Ace glanced at Axel.
“I settled it already. He should be at the hospital now” Axel continued smoking.
“That bastard!” Ace gritted, rushing out of the house.
“That a-sshole really needs to be dealt with, must he ever try to abuse the freshmen? I’m so fuc-k ing tired of his stunts” Aiden muttered
“If he continues this way, then I’ll be the one to end his journey here in the school” Axel snarled.
“How’s Melanie?” Aaron asked.
“She must have been so scared, fuc-k ” Aaron shook his head.
Axel continued smoking without saying a word. Truly, she was the first girl that he had ever cared for.
When Lauren rushed to him in tears, telling him Melanie was in danger. The feeling he felt in him was indescribable. At that moment, he felt like killing someone.
“I’m really going crazy,” he mumbled to himself.

Melanie sat on a chair in the field, crying her eyes out. Lauren and Julie have been trying their best to console her but their efforts were futile.
“Lanie C’mon, you need to stop the tears. Axel already dealt with him” Lauren rubbed her shoulder.
“What if he hadn’t arrived, I would have gotten ra-ped. I couldn’t even do anything when he ki-ssed me, I was so weak” Melanie sobbed.
“Melanie,” Julie called gently.
“Axel, he’s mad at me. I said some harsh words to him yet he saved me, I really don’t deserve his kindness” Melanie continued crying.
“Melanie!” Kylie rushed to them.
Melanie drew the jacket to herself, covering her exposed body with it.
Kylie clenched his jaw when he saw the tears in her eyes. He sat beside her and held her cheek gently.
“I heard what happened, I’m glad you’re fine. You need to stop the tears, huh?” He smiled softly.
He wiped her tears with his thumb and brushed her hair to the back of her ear.
Melanie sniffed her tears and moved away from him.
“You don’t have to worry about me Kylie, I’m fine” she mumbled.
“You don’t have to worry, we’re here with her,” Lauren said.
“Melanie! fuc-k are you okay?!” Ace rushed to the scene.
“I’ve been searching all over the school for you, it was a girl who told me you are here” Ace rushed at once.
Kylie stood up slowly. Melanie quickly held his hand, shocking him to the bone.
“I’m fine as you can see, so take your leave” She said to Ace.
“I know you’re still mad at me, but I’m really worried about you. Don’t push me away please” Ace said gently.
“I’m fine, Ace. Please take your leave” Melanie said coldly.
“She said she’s fine, don’t you get it?” Lauren chirped in.
“She needs to be alone, so please take your leave,” Julie added.
Paisley who was walking to the scene stopped when she saw Ace there, she turned and then walked away.
“I’ll check back on you later,” Ace said. He stared at Melanie’s hand on Kylie’s finger before taking his gaze away, then he left the place.
As soon as he was gone, Melanie removed her hand from Kylie’s.
“I’m sorry for that. You can take your leave, I’ll be fine” she smiled at him.
“Are you sure?” Kylie asked.
She nodded.
“If you need anything, just let me know. We’re friends, right?”
“Sure”
Kylie smiled widely. He held her hand and raised it to his li-ps, ki-ssing it gently.
“I’ll see you later,” he muttered.
“Huh? Yeah,” Melanie said awkwardly.
Kylie left and Lauren wiggled her brow teasingly at Melanie.
“Huhu, is that what I’m thinking?” She smiled.
“Don’t be crazy, Lauren,” Melanie scoffed.
“Hmm, I don’t believe you”
“Stop teasing Lauren, she obviously doesn’t like it” Julie chirped in.
Lauren pouts.
“Lauren, can you please get me some yoghurt? My stomach suddenly hurts”
“Sure. Want it cold or hot?” Lauren asked.
“Cold please”
“Julie, can you go with her please? I want to be alone, if it’s just for a minute” Melanie said.
“Sure, we’ll give you a little space,” Julie said.
“Let’s go, Lauren” Julie and Lauren left.
Melanie heaved a sigh and her mind drifted to Axel. He was mad at her, and strangely she felt hurt with that.
“It was my fault, I shouldn’t have said those words to him” she bit her li-ps.
A sudden pain grips her and her hand holds her stomach tightly.
“Why does it hurt?” She gro-aned.

FEW MINUTES LATER***
“I really can’t believe I’m doing this” Axel mumbled to himself as he walked to the field.
His eyes sighted Melanie and he quickly turned away, going to hide by a tree.
“Am I being a stalker now?” He scoffed to himself.
“Is she okay?” He found himself asking.
“fuc-k , I should just leave” he made to turn when he saw Melanie standing up.
He tried to hide himself but it was too late, she already saw him.
Melanie was on her way to the infirmary as her stomach suddenly hurt when she sighted Axel.
She managed to walk to him as the pain became unbearable.
“Axel,” she called slowly when she got to him.
Axel tried to walk away but she stopped him with her next statement.
“I’m sorry,” she raised her voice a bit.
He turned to her.
“For?” He raised a brow.
“I…” She bit her li-ps when a pain gripped her, more painful than the first.
“Are…” Axel stopped himself from completing the sentence.
“I… Let’s talk later” Melanie quickly said.
She walked past him and immediately Axel spotted a red stain on her white gown.
His eyes wide-ned.
Some students were already appearing as it was sports time.
Melanie squee-zed her face in pain as she walked away, she suddenly froze when she felt him hugging her from the back.
Her heart skipped a thousand beats at the close proximity.
“Your…. You have a red stain on your clothes,” she heard him say.
Melanie went still and her eyes wide-ned.
She turned to look at him but he stopped her, his arms tightening around her.
“Stay still, don’t take a move,” he whispered.
Ace, who was just appearing with Aaron and Aiden since they insisted that they wanted to check on Melanie, stopped walking immediately when he saw the scene in front of him.
“What’s going on?”
“Are they a couple?”
“Was that the reason why Axel almost killed James? Because he’s her boyfriend?”
The students started to murmur as they kept watching the scene who felt romantic to them. Some brou-ght out their phones and started making videos.
“What’s going on?” Aaron whispered to Aiden who was also shocked at the scene in front of him.
Lauren and Julie returned with the yogurt in Julie’s hand, they suddenly stopped when they saw the scene.
The yogurt fell from Julie’s hand, her hands widening like an orange.
Melanie stood still as her cheeks flushed in embarra-ssment.
“Stay still, Mel. I’ll sort it out” Axel whispered, still hugging her.
He moved back a bit and removed his jacket, he wore it around her waist, his hands touching her a-ss by mistake. Melanie’s body stiffened at the act and Axel didn’t fail to notice that.
After he was done wearing the jacket around her, he carried her in his arms, in a bridal style.
Melanie stared at him in shock.
He smiled gently at her and started walking away.
“fuc-k , this is so sweet!”
“What the hell! Who’s that bit-ch with Axel!”
“I so much hate her right now”
The students started screaming while some were glaring at Melanie hatefully.
Ace turned and left the place immediately in anger
Freya, who was also watching, left the place too.
Lauren turned to Julie whose eyes were already filled with tears.
“Are you okay?” She asked.
Julie ran off without a word.
“Ju…” Lauren sighed and stopped herself from running after her.
She glanced at Axel and Melanie for the last time, she picked the yogurt and left the field.

“Are you okay?” Axel glanced at Melanie who wouldn’t stop gro-aning in pain.
They were both in his car and he was driving home.
“My stomach hurts,” Melanie whispered.
“Hang on a bit, okay? I’ll stop at a nearby sto-re” Axel said, staring outside to see if he’s gonna find a sto-re.
Luckily for them, Axel found a sto-re. He parked the car and glanced at Melanie who was in pain.
“I’ll be back soon, Mel,” he said.
He got down from the car and rushed into the sto-re.
“Welcom…” The attendant gasped when she saw him.
“Wow, so hot” her mind screamed.
“I need your help, Miss,” Axel said to her.
“Sure, you can ask me anything,” she smiled in a flirting way.
“My girlfriend is on her flow, I need to buy that white stuff for her”
At the mention of Girlfriend, the attendant’s countenance changed.
“Huh? You mean, Tampons?” She asked slowly.
“Er, yea” Axel smiled.
“Okay, I’ll be back,” The attendant said.
“Can you let it be pretty much please? She seems to be in a lot of pain” Axel said.
The attendant smiled and went away.
Not long after, she returned with her a basket full of Tampons.
“Will these be enough?” Axel asked.
The attendant stared at him in amazement.
“More than enough,” she muttered.
She placed them in a big bag and handed it to him. He paid and left the sto-re afterwards.
“His girlfriend must be so lucky. Gosh, I’m so jealous” the attendant bit her li-ps.

Axel returned to the car to meet Melanie resting on the window.
“Here, you should use them when you get home” he placed the bag on her lap and settled himself in the driver’s seat.
Melanie glanced at the bag and stared at him in surprise.
“This….”
“Is it too small? Should I get more?” He asked.
“No, I mean…. It’s too much, and…” She bit her li-ps in embarra-ssment.
“Thank you,” she mumbled shyly.
Axel nodded and started the car, it zoomed off speedily.

MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
The car stopped outside the house and Melanie quickly got down from it, clutching the bag to her tightly.
She rushed into the house, heading to her room straight.
She went to the bathroom and undressed herself, her pan-ts were soaked badly.
She shuts her eyes in embarra-ssment as the scene of Axel seeing the stain replayed in her head.
She had her bath and dressed in her clothes, using the pad he bought for her.
Minutes later, she returned to her room. Her stomach was still hurting her but she was just managing.
She looked at the bag on the bed, she picked it slowly.
“He really bought a lot. It must have cost a lot” she bit her li-ps.
There was a sudden knock on the door. Her heart skipped a beat immediately.
“Are you okay, Mel? Do you need anything?” Axel asked.
“I… I’m fine!” Melanie yelled.
“What about your stomach? Does it still hurt?” Axel asked.
“fuc-k , he’s just making me embarra-ssed” Melanie mumbled to herself, sitting on the bed.

Axel waited for a reply but there was none. He went to the kitchen.
He got to the counter and brou-ght out his phone, searching for the perfect meal to make for a girl when she’s on her flow.
“Just hot water?” He scoffed in disbelief.
He brou-ght out a pot and poured water in it. He switched on the gas and placed the pot on it.
“And a ma-ssage?” He asked himself.
“That’ll be pretty hard,” he mumbled.
He walked to the fridge and opened it, fortunately for him, he saw some fruits there.
He picked some and started slicing them bit by bit.

“Oww, my tummy” Melanie mo-an-ed in pain. She sat up and walked to the door.
She opened it slightly and exhaled loudly when there was no sign of Axel.
She went to the kitchen and her eyes grew wide when she saw him there.
Staring at his back view, the way his muscles flexed as he sliced the fruit, a smile left her li-ps.
“Why are you standing over there?” She heard his voice.
“Huh!” She came back to earth and found him staring at her.
“I….”
“Come closer,” Axel said
Melanie’s cheeks went red and she went closer to him.
Axel poured the warm water into a cup and handed it to her.
“I heard it helps a lot,” he said, looking away from her.
Melanie collected it from him and drank it slowly, she then placed the cup on the counter.
She watched as he sliced the remaining fruits in the plate and a wave of guilt washed over her.
She was wrong when she compared him to Ace, the guy in front of her was totally different from Ace… Very different.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered.
Axel stopped what he was doing at once.
“I was wrong, I shouldn’t have judged you the way I did. I was just hurt and broken, I’m sorry for my harsh words” she said slowly.
She held the counter, avoiding his eyes as she continued talking.
“Today, I thought… I thought I was going to get ra-ped, I was already torn and devastated. I couldn’t imagine what’d happened if you hadn’t showed up, I’d have probably got ra-ped in the restroom” she sniffed.
“I’m sorry for misjudging you, I’m really sorry” she whispered in tears.
Axel suddenly hug-ged her from behind and her heart started beating fast.
“Does your stomach still hurt?” He asked softly.
“Huh?”
He turned her to him and he swore to himself that he got lost in her cute eyes for a while.
“Your stomach, does it still hurt?” He repeated.
“You’re not mad at me?” She asked slowly.
Axel smiled and carried her, making her sit on the counter. His hand went inside her top and started ma-ssaging her stomach gently.
“It helps to relieve the pain,” he said.
His hand on her stomach, sent bu-tterflies to the pit of Melanie’s stomach.
She suddenly held his hand that was ma-ssaging her stomach and Axel stared at her.
“Are you mad at me?” She asked again.
“I’m still mad, but not anymore” his eyes flic-kered to her li-ps.
He raised his hand and touched them softly, using his thumb to caress the lower li-p.
Melanie’s breath seized up in her throat as his thumb kept moving on her li-ps.
“The ki-ss… Can I return it now?” He asked, looking fixedly at her li-ps.
“I don’t want to be a debtor” he added, staring into her eyes this time around.
“I want to return what I borrowed,” he murmured softly.
His hand went to her waist, gripping it tight as he smashed his li-ps on hers, ki-ssing her de-eply.
Melanie gasped into his mouth, he used that as an opportunity and shoved his tongue into her mouth, exploring the sweet taste of her mouth.
