Immediately his li-ps landed on hers, Melanie gasped into his mouth and her eyes grew wide in shock.
“Oh my!”
“This is so sweet and shocking!”
Everyone watched in astonishment as Axel continued feeding on Melanie’s li-ps who was still trying to register what was going on.
Among them was Ace who was staring at the duo like a movie, it felt unreal to him.
Melanie raised her hand with the aim of pushing him, but she found herself holding him by the arm, slowly responding to his ki-sses.
It was against her will, but she had to do it. Ace and Paisley were both watching, and this was the best way to get back at them.
“Is this really real right now?” Aaron mumbled in shock.
Seeing how Melanie was responding to the ki-ss, Ace’s mouth flew open in shock. Anger boiled inside him and he felt rage threatening to to-re out of his skin.
Audrey watched with anger de-ep inside her, seeing Axel ki-ssing another lady other than her stirred something de-ep inside her…. Hatred.
Axel’s hand sli-pped to Melanie’s waist, ki-ssing her softly and tenderly, enjoying the juicy taste of her li-ps.
The girls who fainted woke up, but seeing how they were still ki-ssing, they fainted back.
“Time is up!” Aaron suddenly shouted.
Melanie regained her senses back and suddenly pushed him off her, staring at him in nothing but shock.
Their li-ps were both red and we-t as a result of the ki-ss they both shared.
“I….” Melanie stood up and rushed out of the scene immediately.
“That was hot, dude” Aaron said.
Axel smiled softly. He stood up and went after Melanie.
Audrey stood and left the place in anger.
Paisley glanced at Ace who was still staring into space, she bit her li-ps before looking away.
Axel has always hated right from the day he set his eyes on her, but he ki-ssed Melanie?
Thinking of it baffles her a lot.
Lauren and Julie exchanged glances and they both shrugged at the same time.
“Did Axel just ki-ssed Melanie?”
“Is something going on between them? Oh, I’m jealous”
“I guess the game is ruined already” A girl sighed.
“Let’s do something else” another girl suggested.

Melanie stood outside, touching her li-ps as her mind reminisced the ki-ss she shared with Axel.
Someone suddenly held her arm and she threw it away reflexively.
“Don’t touch me!” She screamed, turning to face the person.
“You…” She pointed a finger at him.
“Why the fuc-k will you ki-ss me?! Why?!” She screamed.
“Because I had to. It was a dare, and I had to do it” Axel replied.
“And you couldn’t find any other girl but me?”
“Why are you making a fuss? You ki-ssed me back, didn’t you?”
“That….” Melanie stopped and bit her li-ps.
“I had to do that because Ace was watching, I had to make him believe that I moved on already” she muttered.
“And you did. You should be thanking me not yelling at me this way”
Hearing that, Melanie calmed down a bit.
“You should come back later, it will be weird if you leave this way” Axel said. He stared at her for a while before going back inside.
“Can’t believe this,” Melanie mumbled, her hand going back to her li-ps again.
Never had she imagined she was ever gonna ki-ss Axel, and in the presence of the students too?

Melanie entered the club and everyone was busy dancing, while some doing nasty things to each other.
She walked to Lauren and Julie who were busy throwing suspicious gaze at her.
“Hi,” she chuckled nervously and sat beside them.
“Can you kindly explain what happened here a while ago?” Lauren questioned, folding her arms across her chest.
“It’s nothing,” Melanie mumbled.
“Nothing,you say? Axel ki-ssed you and you fuc-k ing ki-ssed him back! What the hell is between you two?” Julie half yelled.
“Nothing” Melanie quickly replied.
“I had to ki-ss him because Ace was watching, that was my revenge”
“Ace?” Julie muttered
“And you did well babe, you need to see the look on his face. I’m sure he’ll be regretting why he cheated on you in the first place” Lauren smiled.
“Ace is your ex boyfriend?” Julie.
“Yea…” Melanie sighed.
Her eyes went to Ace who was busy drinking alcohol, Paisley wasn’t with him.
She brou-ght a glas-sof beer to her li-ps and drank from it, taking her gaze away from him.

HOURS LATER***
“Gosh, you aren’t tolerant to alcohol and you had to drink?” Lauren gro-aned in frustration, trying to calm Melanie who was speaking gibberish. She was damn drunk.
“It was so sweet, I couldn’t resist drinking it” Melanie grinned drunkenly.
“God!” Lauren slapped her forehead.
Julie appeared and Lauren quickly smiled in relief.
“Found a cab?” She asked.
“No. It’s late already and I couldn’t find anyone” Julie replied.
“How do we take her home? She wouldn’t stop throwing tantrums” Lauren said.
“There’s only one solution….” She added.
Julie stared at her.

Axel stood outside, staring at the stars whilst smoking heavily.
“Why did you do that?” He suddenly heard behind him.
He turned to find Ace, glaring daggers at him.
“You bastard!” Ace rushed to him and landed a punch on his face.
“You knew I was dating her and you ki-ssed her? Are you my friend at all?” Ace shouted, veins popping out of his neck.
Axel chuckled and threw him off him, wiping his li-ps which had a little bloodstain on it.
“Dating? You were dating her and you had the gut to fuc-k her best friend? Don’t you feel ashamed spilling that out of your mouth?” He snapped.
“She caught you both, you weren’t even remorseful, you even had the gut to do it in the restroom!”
Ace’s eyes wide-ned a bit.
“How….”
Axel shook his head. He threw the stick on the floor and stepped on it.
“I let this go because you’re my friend, but anytime your hand touches my face again…. I won’t think twice before acting rashly” he pats Ace’s shoulder before walking back inside the club.
Ace shut his eyes, clenching his fist hard. He stood there for a while before leaving the place in anger.

“Axel, good thing you’re here. We really need your help. Lanie is drunk and…”
“Mel is drunk?” Axel cuts Lauren off.
“Huh, yeah….”
“Where’s she?”
Lauren led him to where Melanie was, Julie was staying with her so she wouldn’t do anything stupid.
“Here…. Can you please take her home for us? There’s no cab in sight and… We have no means of taking her home by ourselves” Lauren explained.
Axel stared at Melanie who was already dozing off. He walked closer to her.
“Move,” he muttered.
Julie shifted and he carried Melanie in his arms
“You won’t do anything to her, right?” Lauren suddenly asked.
“Is that how you see me?” Axel scoffed. He placed Melanie in his arms well before walking away.
“Do you think Lanie is safe with him?” Lauren asked Julie.
“Yes, he wouldn’t do anything” Julie smiled shortly.

MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
Axel entered the room and placed Melanie on the bed gently. He covered her with the quilt and was about to leave when he heard her whimpers.
“Mom… I’m broken, I miss her a lot. I miss our times together, I miss us having breakfast and lunch together. But she doesn’t care anymore, she hates me Mom. She betrayed me, she hurts me beyond repair” Melanie cried in her sleep.
“But still, I miss her Mom”
Axel watched her as she cried. He gently raised his hand and placed it on her hair, patting it slowly.
He did it for a while before Melanie finally slept off.
“You’ll be fine, Mel. You’ll be fine” he murmured softly.
He leaned closer and ki-ssed her forehead before finally leaving the room.
He entered his room and a call came in on his phone. It was Aaron calling.
“Dude, you left us behind. Are you okay?” Aaron asked, almost yelling as a result of the music playing at the background.
“Yea, I had to take care of something” Axel muttered, going to his bed.
“Like what? You took a girl home, right?” Aaron giggled.
“I knew it. You can never do without fuc-k ing a girl” Aaron laughed.
“I’m hanging up” Axel said and hung the call at once.
He laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
His mind drifted to the ki-ss he shared with Melanie and a smile escaped his li-ps.
He closed his eyes and after some minutes, nature took its place.
***
QUEEN’S VILLA***
Freya and Sienna entered the room to find Audrey drinking herself to stupor.
“Drinking alone, huh?” Freya smiled and joined her.
“Who the hell is that girl?! Why’d Axel ki-ssed her?” Audrey fumed.
“Is that why you’re drinking?” Freya asked, pouring a drink into a cup.
“We all know it was a dare, so why stressing yourself? Besides, you aren’t dating him, it shouldn’t bother you” Freya said
Audrey glared at her.
“Freya is right. It was just a dare, no strings attached… So chill” Sienna said, stri-pping herself.
Audrey ignored them and continued drinking. The scene of Axel ki-ssing that strange girl in the club kept appearing to her and she couldn’t stop drinking.
****
NEXT DAY***
MELANIE’S APARTMENT***
Melanie squinted her eyes and gro-aned loudly when a terrible headache hits her on the head.
Her eyes flew open and she quickly sat up, holding her throbbing head.
“That hurts,” she whimpered.
She got down from the bed and walked to the kitchen, she suddenly turned back when she saw Axel there.
The scene of them ki-ssing last night flashed throu-ghher mind and she quickly shook her head, chasing the thoughts away.
“You’re awake?” She heard his voice.
She turned to see him holding a plate in his hand.
He walked to her and handed the plate to her, shocking the hell outta her.
“It’s a hangover soup. I figured out you’ll need it since you were heavily drunk last night” Axel said.
“Drunk?” Melanie asked.
“Yea… Drink it, it helps a lot” he urged.
“Why are you suddenly being nice to me?” She asked.
“Because we’re roomies” he simply replied and walked to the entrance.
“What’s your motive?” She asked, stopping him from taking any further move.
“Meaning?” Axel turned to her.
“You wouldn’t be acting all nice to me without having any motive… What are you planning?” She asked.
“Was it because of the ki-ss? Because I returned it, you felt you could have your way with me?” She suddenly chuckled.
“Do I look that stupid to you?”
“What the hell are you saying?” Axel asked in confusion.
“I’m telling you to stop whatever you’re planning cos its not gonna work. If you think you’re planning to sed-uce me and then dump me later just like your friend did, then you must be stupid”
She walked to the zinc and poured the soup away.
“You aren’t in any way different from Ace, so don’t try to be nice, it ain’t gonna work on me” she muttered and walked out of the kitchen.
Axel chuckled in disbelief.
“All this just because I helped her?” He asked no one in particular.
His eyes went to the zinc and he clenched his jaw, he left the kitchen afterwards.
