“securities!!” I yelled and the school securities rushed out from their little houses behind the school gate which serves as their comfort zone most times
I immediately suspected the guy who had held Robyn,shoving her r0ûghly into the car, to be the so-called caller,Robyn had been worried about
“help plea-se….help my friend!” I cried hysterically, gesturing at the stranger who had quic-kly got into the drivers seat and had began igniting the car engine
“call the cops plea-se!!….someb©dy help!”I screamed with every breath in me and the securities rushed into one of the school buses and began trailing after the culprit
omg!
this was the very first time i was experiencing a kidnap!
not even any other person but Robyn!
my best friend!
the whole school was in chaos and a loud uproar had suddenly erupted
students tried trooping out of the school gate to get a view of the scene
my whole b©dy was shaken, I felt my lungs dried
I felt like I was gonna slump and just then, I did slump!
I felt my legs give way and I found myself falling, not unto the floor!
but into a soft pair of hands
I turned sideways to have a look at my savior and my eyes fell on the clas-s introvert,
the school silent king!
Alex!
he’s actually the school principal’s only son and he isn’t mean or grumpy but he’s more of an handsome cute dude,who hates attention
“hey! take it easy okay!”his voice c@m£ out slow and calm like he’s counting his words
suddenly the realization of what’s going on, hit at me and I found myself yelling
something I ordinarily won’t do if the situation wasn’t tense like it was now
“they’ve got my friend…….I mean he!
A guy!” I yelled pointing at the direction the kidnapper had took
” it’s okay Nicole!
the cops had been alerted and am pretty sure they would caught up with them ….I mean he”he said and I wasn’t even relief
not one bit!
hold on, did he just call my name?
like,he knew my name is Nicole?
oh! plea-se to hell with it!
all I nee-d now is my Robyn
oh! gracious lord!
I feel like screaming!
I feel like shouting!
I just feel like dying!!!
Alex got a hold of my shoulder with his hands wra-pped around me while he helped me walk back into the school
not like I was lame or something!
is hands on my shoulders were soothing but I wasn’t comfortable.
I mean a guys hand is on my shoulder!
not just a guy but him!

the school management and some of the security men around,tried st©pping the students from getting out of the school premises and they kinda succeeded cause the students suddenly began dispersing one after the other in groups,the in pairs
soon they began dispersing in one and two’s
soon the coast was cleared and the school management board had immediately called for an emergency meeting
probably to reinstate new securities or probably find a scheme to inform Robyn’s parents about it
I caught sight of our Stout looking principal, whose bald head shone un-der the rays of the sun, with his spectacles hanging on his nose
he was speaking tough into the phone
he’s obviously angry, even a toddler could tell
“Nicole!” I heard Cas-sy’s voice and my eyes caught sight of her running towards me, fears where visible in her eyes
“have a fun day with your friend!
wanna have a word with my dad” Alex said letting go off me and I couldn’t help staring at him as i watched him catwalk beautifully towards his dad who had dropped the call alre-ady
I took in a de-ep breath and continued walking towards Cas-sy who looked dishealved, I almost slump on her and she drew me closer to herself placing a hand on my back
“tell me it’s not true Nicole!
tell me Robyn is safe!”she cooed as we both moved our shaken legs into the school cafeteria
“am going crazy Cas-sy!
I saw it all Cas-sy!
I saw her being sed@t£d and abducted!
Ifu-cking saw it”I cried as tears began streaming down my eyes and Cas-sy’s eyes watered with unshed tears.

I opened my eyes slowly to hear the angry voice of dad, who seems to be speaking into his phone

my head hurts!
I placed my hands on my head which had suddenly seems to be twice it’s size,trying to sit upright on the be-d
where am I?
this place doesn’t even look like an hospital room!
the sight of my fancy wardrobe and queen like dressing table,made me calm my nerves
I was kidnapped!
wasn’t I?
how come am home and in my room?
“omg! princess is awake!” I heard mom’s loud voice and I gro-an ed
“honey Robyn is awake!” mum screamed again and rushed towards me,
I never knew she had been sitting on one of the couch in my room all this while!
“mum!” I called and could still hear dad’s voice from the far end of my large room ma-king a call
he took a glance at me and I could see a tinge of happiness and excitement in his eyes
mum kept bombarding me with questions and I was beginning to feel sick
gosh!
“princess are you okay?
like for real?
do you feel pains anywhere?
should we call in doctor badmus?
do you feel sick?
do you feel hungry?
come on baby, talk to mummy!
tell me how your feeling, your all have gat!”mum cried hvgging my sitting b©dy and I rolled my eyes at her back view
at times she’s sweet, another time she’s something else
“am fine mum!
like, very fine!” I said and mum gave me a look which clearly shows she doesn’t believe me
well, who cares??
“in a short s£ntence mum! tell me how Ifu-cking ended up here?” I asked raising my brows at her

“can we plea-se not talk about that baby, your still recovering” mum said and I restrained myself from yelling at her
“am fine mum!” I told you that alre-ady,so plea-se….start talking”I said placing my left hand on my forehead
“your dad actually got a call from the school authority saying you got kidnapped by an unknown and one of your friends had actually caught sight of you being sed@t£d and she alerted the school authorities who immediately alerted the cops and trailed after the bandit who tried escaping with you in his car, and …….you know what?
I think am done narrating this $h!ts to you!
you got rescued by the cops and the kidnapper is behind bars” mum said and I felt so icy, like water was poured on me
“mum!” I called and mum looked up at me
“what happened to him mum?

was he caught or he escaped?” I asked looking at mum with expectant eyes
“he’s pres£ntly behind bars princess!
I just said that” mum said and I took in a de-ep breath
“mum I wanna make a request!” I said and mum pop up her head at me
“what’s it princess?
make any request mummy is here for you” mum said and I tint my head to the left
“I wanna have a word with him mum!
the anonymous who tried kidnapping me” I said and could see the shock and disappointing look on mums face
“why do you wanna see him Robyn?
your dad won’t even allow it!”mum said looking skeptical and I took my eyes to dad who wasn’t even done with the calls he was ma-king
but the tone of his voice shows he was angry, if not super angry
and I nee-d no one to tell me he was speaking to the cops or perhaps the school management
“I wanna know who’s behind my kidnap mum!
I wanna know the br@in behind it and the reason why, I really nee-d you to let me go see him mum!
for goodness sake, am the kidnapped one here!
am the one being tamed!
and I can’t go out freely like I use to, for fear of this incident reoccurring again!
am scared mum! am really scared!”
I felt like bur-sting out, I feel so scared and insecure
“the cops alre-ady did that and the br@in behind it has been p@rtially fished out”
“what do you mean by ‘p@rtially fished out mum!” I cooed anger and fear were visible in my eyes
“after severe torturing and investigations from the bandit,he had confessed that he was being s£nt by one of your dad’s political opponent who want you dead so your dad would bail out from the forth coming election since he and your dad are rivals and it’s obvious he’s gonna lose out of the election cause you dad was beginning to get the upper hand but he still didn’t disclose the main culprit to the cops”mum said and I felt my throat dry
“dad is into politics mum!
and I wasn’t even aware!”I asked gleamingly
“I didn’t even get to know until last night when you were rescued,
I overheard his calls and had to confront him,
to think he had to keep it away from me, his wife!
his quite an un-derstatement” mum said and I could see the hurt in her eyes
“I guess this is the reason why he kept having one appointment with Mr president or the other”I said and mum sighed
“and I never for once suspected,
even with the bill boards having his pictures on it!
I never for once thought of it” mum said
“how would you, when your damn crazy over your modeling career!”I felt like saying but kept mute
I don’t wanna add to her worries and tense mood
dad ended his call and walked towards mum and i,giving mum a pe-ck on her cheeks but mum just kept a straight face
“good morning angel!” dad said and I shrink
what!
it’s morning?
does that means have been unconscious for almost a day?
geez!
“lemme get you something princess, you must be famished alre-ady”mum said and made to stand up, ignoring dad
“hey what’s wrong?” dad asked no one in p@rticular but I could tell he’s indirectly speaking to my mum,
mum could be strong headed at times most especially when angry
and she’s the softest person have ever seen though she likes acting tough
“am fine dad” I replied sarcastically and dad raised a brow at me
“I wasn’t talking to you princess, what’s wrong with her?”dad asked staring at mum’s retreating figure and I rolled my eyes at him
“you said you weren’t talking to me remember?” I asked and dad kept mute
“mum!” I called and mum st©pped to stare at me and I could visibly see hurt in her eyes
I could tell my dad saw that too
“yes princess!”mum called, her Voice almost shuttering
“get me cheese and jui-ce, but before then,get me my phone
I wanna pu-ll a call across to my friends
they might still be panicking alre-ady”I said taking my eyes to the wall clock
9:43!
amfu-cking late!
there’s no way am going to school by this time of the day and dad won’t let me go to school today either
so am stuck here
“the anonymous, smashed your phone or something, cause we couldn’t find it but your dad ordered another one for you few hours ago
i will get it alongside…..your…..your…..or…ders”she said, her voice coming out slow with muffled breath and i nee-ded no one to tell me she’s at the verge of crying
she ran off and dad stared into space
“hold on princess, lemme go sort something out with momma” dad said and hurried behind mum even before i could reply
“whatever!” i huffed placing my hands properly on my soft pillows
