THE HAYES APARTMENT
Merritt was crying in the living room when Juliet got home, Gina is beside her, petting her.
“Bess, what exactly is up?” She asked, sitting on her left side.
“He’s her boyfriend i think, she met him not long ago an..
“We’re not dating yet, we just know that we love each other so much, tonight we planned to meet at the park but he didn’t show up and he’s not picking my calls either, while heading back, I saw a pool of blood down that street, I’m so scared right now, what if Joel hurt him?” Merritt cried as she explained.
“We all know Joel kills and never buries, if it’s him, you’ll find his body there, it’s definitely not him , and you didn’t tell me you’ve gotten acquainted with him to this extent, you only told me about the black card” Juliet said.
“I wanted to wait till when he asks me out before I’d tell you ” Merritt said as Gina wiped her tears.
“You don’t know his place?” Juliet asked.
“Anytime I ask about his background, he tells me it’s nothing to talk about, that he’s just an ordinary guy” Merritt replied.
“This is ha-rd, but you nee-d to stop crying first please” Juliet said, wiping the remaining traces of tears away from Merritt’s face.
“What am I gonna do?, I miss him so much” she said.
“Let’s just believe he’s fine and he’ll come back to you ok?” Juliet said, holding Merritt’s hands.
“I hope so” Merritt sniffed and hu-gged her.
“So our Merritt can also fall in love” Gina said and Juliet smiled.
“He’s not only caring and attentive, he’s R0m-ntic and very handsome too” Merritt replied shyly, dipping her face in Juliet’s shoulder.
“How cute, I can’t wait to meet him though , I also believe he’ll come back to you” Gina replied and stood.
“I’ll go to bed first” she said.
“Goodnight mum” Juliet said.
“Goodnight mummy Gina” Merritt said.
“Goodnight babies, I love you both!” Gina replied and ki-ssed their hairs before leaving for her room.
“Let’s go in” Merritt said and Juliet nodded.
They both went in and as Juliet took off her wristwatch, she remembered how Romeo held her hand earlier and smiled sheepishly in front of the closet.
Then the 12 course meal, it was so delicious, very sumptuous and sweet.
She’d have said it loud that he cooks better than Gina but Gina will skin her alive.
“He’s going to England on Friday?, I wish to go too, and I wish he finds a fake girlfriend that’ll follow him” she said to herself and when she remembered Agnes, she giggled.
Her craziness is cute.
“What are you doing giggling and murmuring alone?” Merritt suddenly asked behind her and she quickly faced her , holding her che-st.
“Gosh!, You have the knack for scaring me” she said.
“Were you with your boss earlier?” Merritt asked.
“How did you know?” Juliet replied surprisingly.
“I’m a born detective” Merritt replied.
“Descendant of Sherlock Holmes huh?” Juliet rolled eyes and took off her clothes completely, leaving her in her pan-ties and Br@.
“Tell me everything you did with him” Merritt said.
“Go away” Juliet replied, trying to walk into the bathroom but Merritt pulled her back.
“Tell me what you did with Romeo Spencer” Merritt said seriously and Juliet sighed.
“Living with a born detective was a bad idea” she said.
“I’m listening” Merritt turned her ear to Juliet.
“Ok we hu-gged and he wiped my tears,he ru-bbed the back of my ne-ck when I was hiccu-pping, he noticed I’m starving and took me to his island, he cooked a 12 course meal for me and….
“OMG!!!!!!!!” Merritt screamed before she could finish.
Juliet entered the bathroom.
Merritt stri-pped herself and entered the bathroom too.
“Romeo Spencer did all that for you?, Jeez!” She said, walking around Juliet.
“Let’s not talk about it anymore” Juliet replied and her phone rang in her hand.
She checked and smiled when she saw it’s Gras-shopper.
“Did she stop crying already?, Is she ok?” He asked instantly.
“Yes, luckily I was able to calm her” she replied and he inhaled.
There was silence for a while then he spoke.
“Juliet”
“Yes boss?” She replied.
“For the get-together on Friday, will you go with me as my fake girlfriend?” He asked and she gasped, feeling her loud and fast heartbeats.
She held her che-st as it raced fas-ter.
“You’re not saying anything, I’m not hiring you for free, I’ll pay you any amount you want” he said.
She bit her li-p.
“I’ll… think about it” she replied.
“Take your time, but let me know your decision before Friday” he said.
“Sure” she replied.
“Are you busy?” He asked.
“Not really, I’m in the bathroom, about to shower” she replied.
“Oh!, Then I guess I should go, see you at work tomorrow” he said.
“Yes boss, goodnight”
He went silent for a second.
“Sleep ti-ght” he replied and all the hair in her head rose immediately.
When he finally hung up, she kept standing, thinking about his last word.
“Sleep ti-ght”
She smiled, hu-gging the phone to her che-st.
“Should I start singing STUCK IN THE MOMENT by Justin Bieber for you guys?” Merritt suddenly said, waking her up.
“It’s not what you think” she said and Merritt gasped.
“Come to think of it, Romeo and Juliet!” She said.
Juliet’s cheeks became red slightly .
“Romeo and Juliet sitting on a tree, ki-ssING” Merritt sang.
“You’re crazy” Juliet said, getting un-der the shower.
Merritt did same and they took off their undies too, showering in front of each other.
“Your face is seriously getting clean, just a little bit left for you to have a sp-otless face” Merritt smiled.
“My dermatologist is the best” Juliet replied happily.
“Your tiny hips grew roun-der, and is it me or your bo-obs grew bigger too, Romeo Spencer’s property” Merritt winked.
“Merritt!!!!!!”

NEXT MORNING≈ROMEO’S ISLAND
Romeo finished dressing up for work and got his red suit from the bed where he had placed it.
He checked himself out in the mirror and when he seems satisfied, he went for his phone and decided to call Juliet, yearning to hear her voice again.
“But I’ll see her at work” he thought otherwise.
“But….it doesn’t matter” he said and tried dialing again but he stopped himself.
“He’s my intern, not something else” he said and left the room, meeting Agnes downstairs.
She’s sitting on the couch, reading his new book MELT ME
“Romeo I envy your writing skills seriously, how could a novel feel so real, you made the male lead so cold like you, and the female lead is slow-witted, I just couldn’t stop reading it since last night, I must finish it today, I heard your movie with late Megan Mel is gonna be out by 12 today, can’t wait to watch LOVE RAIN!, and I’m following you to work so….
“It’s ok, I’ve heard enough please” Romeo interrupted Agnes and she pouted.
“And why would you follow me to the office, follow Justus instead”
“I want to follow you, and also…I nee-d 20 million dollars” she said.
“For what?” He asked immediately.
“My closet, I nee-d to change it, I’m tired of the clothes I brou-ght from Hong Kong already” she replied childishly.
“You arrived just yesterday and you’re already tired of them? I can’t keep up with your lavish lifestyle just like last time ok?, Go meet dad or doctor Mona, Justus will give you any amount too but not me” Romeo retorted.
“Then… should I post that picture online?” Agnes said tactfully.
“What picture?” Romeo said curiously.
“Your as-s, you know I once snapped it accidentally” she replied and his eyes wide-ned.
“You don’t dare!” He glared.
“Then give me my money, and let’s go to work, I’m driving with you” she winked and hu-gged him before using her shades, she walked out.
Romeo leaned on the wall.
“I wanna go extinct” he muttered.

Juliet and Merritt came out with Gina at the same time, all dressed for their different places of work
Surprisingly, Justus is already waiting in his car .
“Son-in-law” Gina smiled immediately and he came out.
“Mum you can’t start again” Juliet muttered.
“Keep quiet” Gina glared.
“Goodmorning Lady Gaga” he greeted.
“Morning son-in-
“Mum!” Juliet said and she shook her head.
“I’ll drop everyone at their destinations, hop in” he said.
“You’re the best ” Merritt said and hopped in with Gina.
“Hey” Justus came to Juliet.
“Don’t mind my mum, she’s just a bone” she said and he smiled.
“I get, let’s go” he said.
They got in too and he drove off.
TWENTY MINUTES LATER**
Merritt and Gina are gone, Justus dropped them at the news station and the sto-re respectfully.
Juliet is left in the car with him.
“Happy New month” he suddenly said as he drove.
“Oh!, Today is February 1st, I totally forgot, same wishes cute Justus” she replied and he smiled.
“It’s been a while since you called me that”.
He looked at the hairpin in her hair .
“Your hairpin is pretty” he said.
“Oh… Romeo gave it….I mean. ..my boss gave it to me” she quickly said, bi-ting the side of her mouth afterwards.
“Romeo gave you an hairpin?” He asked.
“Yes” she replied.
“You’ve never used the one I gave you” he said and she faced him.
“Justus….you see….I….
“I see you lost it” he said and she started feeling guilty.
“I’m sorry, it wasn’t intentional, I didn’t know when it fell from my hair, I just suddenly couldn’t find it”
“It’s fine, I guess I’ll get something more precious next time ” he replied.
“You’re not mad at me?” She asked.
“Why would I be?” He replied and she smiled.
The car stopped in front of the company and when she made to go , he held her back.
“Tonight….can I pick you up for dinner by 8?” He asked.
“Dinner?”
“Yes, I want to eat with you, please” he said and she smiled
“Sure” she said and he sque-ezed her hand gently.
“I’ll call you” he said.
“Ok” she replied and came out of the car.
Justus left and Romeo came out of his car.
“Boss!” Her face grew bright.
“You’re getting closer to him everyday” he said.
“What do you…mean?” She slowly asked.
“Nothing” he replied and she brushed her hair back slightly, turning her right ear to him so he’ll see the pin.
“Looks good on your dress” he said, noticing it
She smiled and Agnes came out of the car.
“Juliet!” She waved.
“Agnes!” She waved too and they hu-gged
“The worse combo I’ve ever seen” Romeo muttered and went in with Ben.
“How was your night?” Agnes asked, touching Juliet’s hair.
“Splendid, yours?” She replied.
“Cool, Romeo gave you this pin?” Agnes asked, touching the hairpin.
“Yes”
Agnes smiled and hu-gged her again.
“It’s definitely what I’m thinking” she said.
“What?” Juliet asked curiously.
“You’ll find out soon pretty” Agnes replied.
“Pretty?”
“You’re pretty, trust me” Agnes said and Juliet blus-hed.
“You should go up first” Agnes said, releasing her.
“Alright, see ya!” Juliet entered the company and Agnes got her phone.
She stood beside Romeo’s car and snapped some selfies then Michelin’s car stopped beside her.
Michelin came out and she smi-rked as they walked towards each other.
She blocked her way and Michelin sighed.
“Out of my way” she said.
“This is still my amor’s company, so tell me what right you have to tell me what to do” Agnes replied.
“You grew more rude, I never liked you” Michelin said hatefully.
“It’s mutual….witch” Agnes replied.
“You’re trespas-sing” Michelin smi-rked.
Agnes removed her shades and leaned in.
“Should i tell the whole world what really happened that night?” She whispered and Michelin froze.
Agnes faced her again and removed her shades.
“Go back home and take a nap,heard your food stopped digesting, very soon you won’t be able to urinate throu-ghyour pu-ssy again, it’ll be throu-ghyour nose, slut” she said and walked in fast.
Michelin got into her car immediately, thinking about what she said as she held the steering ti-ght.
“What does she mean?” She wondered.

Agnes got to Romeo’s floor and the first person she came across was Sugar.
They kept staring at each other till she laughed out loud suddenly.
Sugar started laughing too.
“Who the Fu-ck told you to be a crossdresser, that person is cruel” Agnes laughed
One will think they’ve known each other for long.
“And whoever told you to be wearing glas-ses is totally a wicked soul, you look like an alien in glas-ses” Sugar laughed too.
“What!, Alien?” Agnes said, removing her shades immediately.
“Of course” Sugar folded his arms beneath his “empty b-oobs”
“Yes, an alien from the planet of apes” Sugar replied and Agnes threw her shades away.
“I’m Agnes Spencer!, upcoming hottest model in Mexico!” She shouted.
“And I’m Sugar Rhys, the beauty goddess of Mexico” Sugar replied.
“You can’t win that title even if you employ black magic” Agnes laughed.
“And you can’t become a model even if you swallow a bowl of luck” Sugar replied.
“Yahh!!!!” Agnes yelled.
Sugar turned her flat as-s and shook it with much effort.
Agnes was about to do the same when the elevator opened and Swan came in with Kyle.
Immediately Agnes saw Kyle, her eyes wide-ned and a bright light illuminated his handsome face as he walked in.
He’s the hottest man she has ever seen and his tallness is….
“This is too much for me to handle” she said and went down, fainting immediately.
“What’s up with her?” Swan wondered.
“She’s taking a nap, don’t mind her” Sugar replied.
“Miss Rhonda, you nee-d to answer some questions about the poison case” Kyle said and Rhonda stood with a racing heart.
“Huh?, Why?”
“Come with us” Swan replied.
Rhonda left with them reluctantly.
A lady entered immediately and Juliet spranged up.
“Tessa Jordan!” She said surprisingly.
“Where’s Romeo?” She asked arrogantly.
“Do you have an appointment with him?” Juliet asked.
“Show me to his office already” Tessa replied and Juliet did that reluctantly.
“It’s true that she’s arrogant, she’s not even dressed decently, can’t believe boss is shooting his next movie with her” Juliet muttered and noticed Lovelyn has been quiet and unsettled since morning.
“Lovelyn are you ok?” She asked worriedly .
“Of course, I’ll go make coffee for Tessa” Lovelyn replied.
“No, I’ll do it” Juliet replied and went to the pa-ntry.
She made the coffee and didn’t bother to knock before going in but immediately she went in, she rushed out at what she saw.
“What?” Lovelyn asked.
“Nothing” she replied, making her way back to the pa-ntry.
Tessa was sitting on his lap-s and she was just about to ki-ss him!.
She dropped the tray on the table and closed her eyes, resting on it.
“Calm down, calm down…calm” she told herself and left the pa-ntry.
When she got to the office, Tessa was already leaving the office angrily.
She even bumped into her and entered the elevator without saying sorry.
“What’s up with that fishbone?” Lovelyn said.
“No idea” Juliet replied and her desk bell rang.
She inhaled before walking to Romeo’s door.
She exhaled as she opened the door and went in.
He’s on his laptop when she got there so she waited in front of him, stealing glances at him.
“About the get-together…” He said, looking up suddenly.
“Why don’t you tell Tessa Jordan to be your fake girlfriend” she cut in.
“What?”
“I just thought… she’ll be more…. clas-sic” she replied with her head down.
“What has Tessa got to do with this?” Romeo said.
“I don’t know” Juliet replied in a low voice.
“Come here” Romeo said and she looked up.
“Come already” he said and she walked slowly to him.
He grabbed her wai-st immediately, pulling her to his lap-s.
Her bu-tt landed on his lap-s and she gasped.
“She tried to ki-ss me truly, but I told her to get lost, so she left angrily” he said and Juliet blinked as he brou-ght his face closer.
“You’re more clas-sic, and you’re beautiful” he whispered into her ear and her cheeks turned red immediately.
She suddenly rested her head on her bo-obs directly, she gasped again, feeling the currents as her heart raced like dum!, dum! dum!
“I’m slightly feeling cold, stay for a while… like this” he said, closing his eyes.
