“I’m sorry I made you suffer again” Romeo said, wrapping his arms around her too.
“Thanks for waking up” she hiccu-pp-ed.
Romeo kept her with him like that and they only disengaged after close to three minutes.
He took a closer look at her and she kept hiccu-ping.
“Try to stop” he said.
“It won’t” she said, hiccu-ping again.
He sli-pped his hand behind her back and started ru-b-bing the back of her ne-ck.
“Calm down” he said, locking eyes with her as he ru-bbed.
Her hiccu-ps only increa-sed instead of decreasing as she stared into his sparkling eyes.
“Seems it won’t get any better” Romeo said, ru-b-bing slower.
“I … I… Guess so” she replied, looking away from him.
“Your eyes are still so red, your face is same, your li-ps are pale too, did you eat today?” He asked.
“Just breakfast” she replied.
“How about we go fill up your stomach?” He asked.
Her stomach rumbled and he smiled.
“Where?” She asked, holding her stomach.
“My place” he replied and her eyes wide-ned.
“Your….house?” She said shockingly.
Like she heard, no one else has entered his house except Ben and his cousin who’s out of Mexico.
“Yes, my house” he said, grabbing her hand.
“But…wait….we…
She wants to protest but the right words didn’t come so he kept pulling her and she kept following till they got to the front of the hospital, meeting Justus.
Justus looked at Juliet’s hand that Romeo is holding before looking at their faces.
“My car isn’t here” Romeo said, looking at the cars in the park.
“You were brou-ght in an ambulance” Juliet replied.
“Are you both going somewhere?, You should at least change your hospital uniform first” Justus said.
” No time to change, this dumb genius here is starving” he said.
Baby came out with the others and Juliet tried removing her hand but Romeo held her ti-ghter.
Everyone gasped when they saw the contact .
Romeo is holding a girl!
Michelin ti-ghtened her hold on her bag.
“Nice sight” Baby winked.
“Wow” Naomi muttered.
“di-ckson, your car key” Romeo said.
“Not available” Baby replied.
Naomi threw her car key to Romeo and Romeo caught it.
“Thanks, you’re the best” Romeo winked and opened the car door, he pushed Juliet in.
Justus felt his throat drying up as he stared at the scene.
“See you guys tomorrow!” Romeo said and entered too, he drove off and Naomi giggled.
“Seriously?, Wow wow!, Romeo winked?, When last did i see him do that?, Seven years ago?” She said.
Michelin walked past them to her car.
“No goodbyes?” Baby said.
She looked back and rolled eyes at him.
She looked at Naomi and Naomi smiled as she got into her car and left
Justus left too and Mona rushed out.
“Romeo left already?” She asked, breathing heavily.
“Yes, why?” Baby asked.
“I forgot to tell him that Agnes is back” Mona replied.
“What the Fu-ck!, Agnes is…what!” Naomi screamed.
“It’s over, that money su-cking parasitic cousin of Romeo” Baby laughed.
“Not to talk of how she frustrates the hell out of him” Naomi replied.
Mona smiled and went back in.
“Romeo in trouble don’t you think?” Naomi said
“Maybe or maybe not, how are you going to get home since you gave Mr grumpy your car” Baby said.
“Drive me home idiot” Naomi rolled eyes and got in Baby’s car.
“Bully” he smiled and his phone rang.
“Hey Jenny” he picked the call.
It’s one of his flings.
“Yes, I’m on my way, Silverbird hotel?, Give me just twenty minutes” he said and hung up.
“Wow!, I’m Fu-cking again tonight, I can’t survive a night without Fu-cking I think” he said proudly before entering his car.
“Another pros-titute to lay with?” Naomi asked.
“Yes, I’ll go meet her after dropping you at home” Baby winked.
Naomi stared out of the window without replying.

Merritt has a confused look on her face as she walked down the park street, she’s tired but at the same time, scared and worried.
She got her phone and dialled Reid’s line again but he’s still not picking.
“Why?, Why?, Why is he not picking why!!!” She shouted at no one, throwing her phone away.
She sat on a bench in front of a house and rested her back on the wall, replaying the fight earlier in her mind.
FLASHBACK≈THIRTY MINUTES AGO
Merritt’s phone fell from her immediately she saw the five men.
She shifted back slowly as they came closer, five of them at once.
“Your dad wants you back home right now” the tallest said, his voice so scary.
“D …. Dd … Dad?” She said in a stammer.
“Don’t tell me you forgot you have a dad already, chief Barrington” the tallest replied again.
Merritt stopped shifting back and stood her ground, they stopped advancing too.
“It’s time to come back home, you’ve spent enough time outside the house, follow us gently” another one said.
“Do I look like a stray dog?” She glared.
“I’m not a dog who can be taken anywhere anytime, so go back and tell him that I… Merritt isn’t coming back to that house, ok?” She said and picked her phone, then she started leaving.
“Stop!” They ordered.
“Stop me if you can” she replied and kept walking.
The five started walking towards her and she didn’t bother to run, she walked slowly till they got to her and tried getting a hold of her.
She removed the muffle in the blouse she’s wearing, as fast as the wind.
She swung it behind herself and it hooked the ne-ck of two of them.
She faced them and rolled the muffler on their ne-cks, the two screamed out painfully and when the other three tried to step in, she used the elastic technique to climb up the shoulders of the two.
She jumped down at their backs and pushed them, they staggered forward and fell on the other three.
They all fell in one sp-ot and Merritt started giving them kicks one after the other, making them bleed a lot before letting them be.
“I knew it, I think cheese balls enhanced your hefty growth, no strength to even face me, I’m not surprised anyways, he hired those who are as useless as he is” she said and drew out her gun.
She shot at the air three times and the guys froze without movements.
“If you guys come closer again, I’ll shoot out your balls and feed them to dogs” she said bent beside them.
“Is that clear?” She said and they kept Gr0-ning in pains.
“Answer me!” She yelled .
“Yes miss!” They replied.
END OF FLASHBACK
Merritt sighed and stood from the bench then she continued walking down the lane till she saw something
She ran to the sp-ot and her eyes wide-ned, blood!
A pool of blood is on the ground, getting her more scared.
“Joel?, Who did….what happened…here?” She stuttered fearfully.

ROMEO’S ISLAND
Romeo stopped the car at the park and stepped out with Juliet.
Juliet’s eyes wide-ned as she looked around.
There’s ha-rdly any space to step on, everywhere is full of flowers, different types.
The scent of flowers made the air so pleasant to breathe in.
She closed her eyes and inhaled as much as she could before facing the mansion itself.
She has seen pictures of it and even the elegance could be smelled from them but right now, she’s standing right in front of the elegant building itself.
“Wow” she said without realizing.
“Cool?” Romeo’s voice brou-ght her back and she quickly faced him.
“Oh….yes… it’s… beautiful” she said and he took her hand again.
“Let’s go in” he said, pulling her in.
She looked at the contact and bit her li-p, smiling cutely.
They got in and he pushed her to a couch.
“Stay here” he said .
“Huh?” She replied.
“I’ll be back with a 12 course meal in a little bit” he said and made his way to the kitchen.
Juliet looked around and stood, glancing at everything.
99 percent of the designs are flowers, a hu-ge glas-s flowerpot is sitting beside the glas-s wall
Everywhere is too tidy and sparkling clean.
Like she heard, most guys have no time to clean but it’s amazing how this man manages to be as clean as this.
Her room is surely the opposite of this house.
She walked to an open room and when she saw it’s his home office, she sighed, looking around.
Flowerpots filled everywhere with different species of flowers in them.
It’s More of a flower room than an office.
Papers were glued to the wall with I MISS YOU MUM written on them.
She remembered the incident at the elevator and looked at the papers again.
“He loves her a lot” she muttered and walked out of the room.
“Wait… am i really in Romeo Spencer’s house right now?” she said to herself.
“It’s real, he took me here….I can’t believe it” she smiled, sniffing the air.
The smell of eggs, peas, onions…
Everything is hanging in the air.
“Is he really making a…12 course meal?” She asked herself and tiptoed to the kitchen.
She peeped by the door and she lost her breath when she saw him.
He rolled up the sleeves of the uniform and that revealed his killer biceps.
He’s wearing an apron but even the apron looks Se-xy on him as he cooked with all his attention.
She was unaware of when she bit her li-p ha-rd, causing her to gasp.
She quickly went low, touching her li-p. “I’m so stupid” she muttered, standing slowly again to take another peak but he’s already by the door.
“My che-st!” She gasped, holding it as she was scared.
“Wanna watch me cook?” He asked.
She nodded slowly and he led the way back in.
She followed happily and just watched as he did everything perfectly, he looks flawless like perfection itself.
“He’s a pro at everything” she mumbled silently.
The meal was done in another twenty minutes and he took everything out to the dinning table.
She sat and he stood beside her, resting his hands on the table.
“Eat” he said and she said took a fork.
She digged in and her eyes wide-ned when she ate.
“Sweet!” She said before he could ask.
She ate the second and third forklift then she started eating fast while he just watched happily.
The question came to his mind again and he bit his tongue first before summoning courage.
“Juliet” he called and she looked up.
“Huh?, Wait… you’re not gonna eat?” She said.
“I’m fine but…
She gave him a “what?” Look.
“There’s a writers get-together on Friday, in England” he said.
“England?, My dream country, I wish to go someday, so are you attending?, You should” she said.
“I’m thinking of it but…I nee-d someone to…pose as my….. girlfriend”
“Girl…. friend?” Juliet said, still looking at him.
“Yes, so I’m thinking if you’ll…
“Booomm!!!!!!” A loud scream cut him short.
“AHHHHH!!!!” Juliet shouted in fear, hu-gging Romeo quickly.
“Agnes?, What the hell are you doing here?” Romeo asked shockingly as the devil herself came down.
“I arrived since 5 but I didn’t want to visit you at the hospital, you know how much I hate the smell, and I’m glad mi Amor is fine!” She gushed.
Juliet slowly let go of Romeo, facing her.
“Wait…the intern!, The blue boxers!, The same person who was accused of poisoning you!, I’ve been thinking of meeting you immediately I land and here you are!, Why didn’t you pull down his boxers too?, I was soooo disappointed when I saw the picture, I wanted the whole Mexico to see his caterpillar, I haven’t seen it before but Avril once told me his caterpillar is very long and….
“Stop talking!!” Romeo yelled.
Juliet blocked her mouth with her palm as she giggled.
“Did you just laugh?” Romeo faced her.
“She’s…. funny” Juliet laughed.
“Seriously?” He replied.
“You’re just my kind of person, I like you so much!, And did he just prepare a meal for you?, 12 course meal?, Romeo this is exactly what you cooked for Avril back then and…”
“Stop talking Agnes” Romeo said, holding his forehead.
“Are you perhaps in l….
“Agnes!!!” Romeo yelled.
Juliet’s phone rang, it’s Merritt.
“Bess” she picked immediately
“Come home please, I don’t know what’s happening anymore” she said weakly.
“Merritt tell me you’re ok” she replied fearfully.
“I’m not ok, I don’t know what happened to Oliver, he’s not picking my calls and…and…
She broke down in tears
“Merritt!” Juliet said and Merritt hung up.
“I nee-d to go now” Juliet said.
“Is everything ok?” Romeo asked.
“Merritt, my friend…I think she’s not fine” she replied.
“Hi boss!” Ben came in immediately.
“Cool, please drop her home” Romeo said and Ben smiled.
“After you my lady” he said and Juliet looked at Romeo.
“I’ll…. see you tomorrow” she said.
Romeo came to her and held her right shoulder.
“Keep calm, and call me when you get home, I hope you’ll be able to calm her down” he said and she nodded.
“I hope she’ll be ok, we’ll see in the company tommorow” Agnes said.
“Sure” Juliet said.
She left with Ben and Romeo faced Agnes.
“I have the time to kill you finally” he said and she took to her heels, running upstairs.
Romeo walked fast after her till they got to her room.
“Get out of my house right now” he said.
“Hong Kong is too far” she pouted.
“It wasn’t a good idea to let you have a key” he mumbled.
” Romeo…” she said.
“What?”
“Your intern, are you….in love with….
“Stop thinking like a kid” he interrupted, looking serious.
“Remember you cooked a 12 course meal for Avril too when you started falling for her back then”
“So?, Does that mean I’m in love with any lady I cook the meal for?” He replied.
“If there’s anyone who knows you most, it’s me” Agnes said bluntly.
“I’m not in love with her” he insisted.
“I know you’re attending the get-together because of Avril, your ex girlfriend who jilted you a week after your mother’s death without a reason, I heard she’s attending” she said.
“Goodnight” he said and started walking out.
“If you aren’t in love with your intern, then are you still in love with Avril?” Agnes asked.
He stopped for a while and without saying another thing, he left the room.

LOVELYN’S PLACE
Getting back home after a scary night, Lovelyn fell on her bed.
“I won’t be able to sleep tonight” she thought and checked the time on her watch, some minutes to 9.
Then she noticed blood in her palm
“His blood stained my palm” she muttered, inhaling as she remembered what happened when she was coming back from Rhonda’s place.
FLASHBACK≈AN HOUR AND SOME MINUTES AGO
Lovelyn was still coming out of Rhonda’s street after spying on her when she suddenly bumped into a scene.
A guy was walking but he suddenly looked back and immediately he did, a man stabbed him with a knife.
Her eyes wide-ned and she blocked her mouth with her palms as she quickly hid.
Her body shook so much and she fell on the wall as a result.
“J … J…Joel..” she stuttered.
END OF FLASHBACK
“I can’t even think about it anymore, no, no no, and why is that Peter guy not calling… Fu-ck!” she said and covered herself completely with the duvet.

TREASURE CASTLE
Queen Lucy came into Reid’s room and sighed when she saw the doctor has finished taking out the knife from Reid’s stomach.
Reid is lying unconsciously on the bed and Maria is sitting beside him, holding his hand.
“This happened because of that lowly reporter, I’m sure he was going to meet her when this happened, can’t believe Joel almost killed my prince” she said, looking at Reid.
“Where’s Peter?” She asked.
“I had him locked up in the dungeon” Maria replied.
“The injection is ready” the doctor said.
“What are you waiting for?, Wipe his memories!” Maria stood.
He brou-ght out the injection and queen Lucy smiled.
“If I inject him with this unconsciously especially when he’s wounded like this, there’ll surely be side effects in the future” he said.
“Like?” Maria asked.
“His sanity might be.. affected” he said plainly and Lucy snatched the injection from him.
“So far he’ll forget about that reporter girl, I don’t care” she said and dived it into Reid’s arm.
