Princess Dawn POV
After the lesson with Mark I went to my room ,I dressed up and went to find Blake
“Blake!!” I wave and went to him
He was at the hall with some guards , he smiled at me
“” your highness!” They greeted
“I’ve been looking everywhere for you”I said to Blake
He smiled and pat my her “I promise I’ll protect you no matter what happen”
I frown “no”
“No?” Blake ask
“I will protect you”
Blake laugh
“I’ve got power now ”
He laugh again”sure thing Dawn ”
“What’s all the decorations for?”I ask noticing the extreme decorations
“” the neighboring Kingdom that send guards for us are coming for visit so we’re throwing them a party”
“Oh I remember now , it’s a Queen that rule that kingdom with her son”
“It’s her son that rules but the Queen controls him”Blake said
” it’s the same thing and besides it’s not her real son”
“It’s not her son?” Blake ask
“Of course not ” I scoff ” everybody knows that she sed-uce the King and dethrone the Queen to be in the position she is”I scoff again “imagine seducing a man old enough to be your grandfather just because he’s the king”
“But now she’s in power so it was worth it” Blake said
I roll my eyes”I wonder why she helped us ”
“Where are you going? ” Blake ask seeing me leaving
“” I want to see my Father I’ve not seen him since I woke up”I wave “I’ll be coming back”

“Dad why haven’t you come to see me or did you not miss me?” I ask coming into the throne room ignoring the little meeting that was being held
He quickly dismiss everyone “of course I miss you dear”
“Don’t seem like it” I pout
He chuckle “I’ve been busy trying to gather enough people to protect you”
I frown “I can protect myself, I don’t need anyone”
He smiled “”so how’s your lessons going?””
“Fine”
” what about your teacher?”
“I like him, he’s handsome and he’s kinda funny” I smiled remembering the lesson
“Did you know that it was Mike that volunteer to teach you ? He’s special too ”
l raise a brow “I know” I frown “the only thing I don’t understand is why the heads don’t also go after him?”
$”maybe because they know he can protect himself..”he paused “and if he get married to you he’ll protect you too ”
I look at dad confuse
My dad face turn serious”if you marry him , you will be protected for life , he has the power and he can teach you how to use yours and he also like you…..”
I gasp “I don’t like him that way and I don’t want to marry him besides I already have someone and if you weren’t to busy , you would have notice ”
Dad frown “” I did notice, isn’t he the fighter or warrior that helped us and he came with you”
“And he also saved me ” I added
“it doesn’t matter “dad replied coldly
“I love him and no one else”I declared
” love can’t protect you from harm dear”
“I’ll protect myself” I said angrily
“You are marrying Mike and that’s final””
I scoff “do you really think I’ll obey? ”
“You don’t have a choice”
I frown “I’m regretting coming to meet you, I would have stayed with mom”I said walking away
He scoff “” it was your mom that suggested it though she is trying to tell you in the best way she can but right now time is not on our side anytime the evil ones could attack”
I stop”mom would never ”
He raise a brow
I walked away to find mom
“Mom did you agree to marry me off to Mike” I said angrily
“”This is not the time to talk about that ” she said leaving her room all dressed up “why aren’t you ready yet ?”
“Answer me”
She glared at me “after we welcome our guests we’ll talk about it” she declared leaving no room for argument
I frown going to my room , the servants dressed me

I entered the hall, the background music was loud matching the cheers of the princes, Lords, princesses and Queens
I walk elegantly , my blue gown swept the ground , my long hair decorated, my earrings and necklace sparkle matching the sliver shoe
” Hey gorgeous “someone whispered in my ear
Inhaling his scent , I already knew it was him ” Blake ” I smiled
He chuckle “I thought coming back home would make you happy yet I still see a frown on your face? ”
I sigh
“Tell me what’s troubling you”
“It’s….. ”
“Your Royal Highness. Princess Dawn and her lifesaver” the announcer called my name
Claps could be heard
I smiled slightly
Blake link his arm with mine walking towards the ‘high table’ “I kinda like that title lifesaver” he whisper to me imitating the announcer voice when he said lifesaver
I giggle
I froze , my smile fade
The Queen look shocked
We were wearing the same dressing and the necklace, earrings , shoe everything was the same as mine
I look at her shocked , she also look shocked but her eyes weren’t on me , they were on …..
I turn to Blake who was equally shocked
She stood up walking towards us, staring directly at Blake, her eyes full of emotions
Blake’s eyes never left hers
She came closer and like a whisper she said his name “Blake….”
I stood there feeling lost than ever before

Princess Dawn POV
“Blake….. ” she called out again but this time Blake looked away and left
What just happen , who is she? Why did Blake react that way?
I stood there with countless of question running throu-ghmy mind
“You copied my Lady’s outfit” her personal a-ssistant said displeased “my Lady don’t like being copied” she said
I frown “I copy no one”
The Queen attention was now on me”how displeasing! ” she exclaim
“It was a coincidence, she will change it immediately” my mother said trying to urge me to go back to my room and change
Why would I be the one to change ? It’s not like I purposely did it and what’s bad if we both dress alike , I frown I don’t like her , my mom is also a Queen yet this lady wants my mom to be submissive to her and that’s exactly what mom is doing and to make it worst , mom is far older than her
“I’m not changing anything” I said stubbornly
Mom gasp
The Queen scoff “it seem the princess wasn’t brou-ght up well, let me show you how it’s done”
She went closer to me

I gasp as I keep feeling the sting of her slap
“” Hold her” the Queen command
Her guards held me down
I clench my fist in anger, I could feel my powers threatening to hurt someone
She came close to me and whisper in my ear
“Is time to choose , using your power to fight me or getting humiliated by me”
She was acting strange, if I use my powers ,people will call me a monster and will attack me and I in anger will kill them all
I gasp , is that what she wants??
“Your majesty , I pled for my daughter” my mother went on her knees
The Queen smiled “stri-p her”
My eye widen
Her maids began dragging my clothes
My mom kept pleading with her
I clench my fist in anger struggling with her maid
