Guards pointed their sword at Blake
I look at Blake I should be grateful that he kept me alive and protected me but I’m here doing the opposite
I sigh clench my fist ” leave ”
“What?” One of the guard question shocked by my sudden change of order
I took the sword from him and slit his throat , blood splash everywhere “I said leave”
The remaining guards hurriedly left
I look st the body on the ground , why do I feel like a bad person “clean up this mess”
“Yes!” The servants replied in union and started cleaning it
Blake look at me shocked at everything that just happened
I was also a little surprise by what I just did, a few minute ago I was happy in Blake’s arms and now
I sigh “I’m sorry”
“Let’s meet the queen”
I nod following him
We went to the palace garden , my mother was there picking flowers like she normally does
” your highness “” Blake greeted
” mom …..”
My mother stop what she was doing and with a smile on her face , her hands wide open
” my Dawn!” I ran and hug her
Tears rush down my face” mom!, I’ve missed you” I pout
She release me and wipe my tears ” I missed you more”
After much cuddling and hugging we went to sit in a shed built in a garden
“My daughter” mom sigh looking at me and Blake “you must be surprise about your powers” she hesitant ” well dear your great grand father powers was pas-sdown to you”
I frown ” but he was a wicked man…”
Mom nod “” every blessing comes with sacrifice ”
“Your great grandfather allowed his powers and taste for wealth control him….””
I gasp “like what I did today ”
“Today?”
“Well she had another episode just before we came here” Blake answered
Mom gasp “you must learn to control your powers quick , the charm bead is not strong anymore to hold you in , if you don’t control your powers ,when it grows rapidly it will control you ”
My eyes widen , fu-ck! Just when I was happy I was coming back to my luxurious life I have to be hit again by reality
“So much for a gifted power ” I said sarcastically
Mom smiled a little “I’ve really miss you dear ”
I smiled
“Well ,I think have waited enough for the introduction ?”
I turn shocked by the different male voice
It was a young handsome, his face was like that of an angel
Mom blus-h in embarra-ssment “forgive my manners , my Dawn meet your teacher Mark , he will teach you how to control your powers ”
I smiled widely $”you’re handsome “I blurted without thinking
Mark chuckle
WTF! When he laugh he’s more freaking cute!
” well I guess I need not to worry anymore if you will not want me to teach you ”

I felt someone come from behind , a strong arm wrap my wa-ist
“I hope you take care of my woman ” Blake said ki-ssing me on the cheek
My blus-h increase, I wonder if I’m the only one noticing Blake’s strange behavior
Blake look down at mark , though Blake height and body is far better than Mark , Mark don’t seem to care as he smiled warmly “I’m very good at taking care of women especially ones who are as special as her”
My face was as red as tomatoes , I felt Blake glare and my mother smiled wearily

Princess Dawn POV
Blake continue glaring at Mike who was still smiling
“That’s enough boys we don’t have time for that ” mom said sternly
Blake frown and look away cursing under his breath
“Blake we need to talk “mom said
I raise a brow since when did mom and Blake got so close
” and we need to be on our way princess”Mike said
“Ok” I followed him
We went to a forest
Mike look at me”you will have your first lesson here”he held my hand and removed the charm bead

Blake’s POV
Scream filled the torture room
“Tell me what the heads are planning” I said to the a-ssa-ssin that was caught alive
He remain quiet
I took the hot oil “if you refuse to talk you leg will undergo immense pain”
He bit his li-ps
I smirk”wrong choice”
I pour it on his leg , he cried in agony and pain
I stopped ” now your hand , if you tell me I will kill you immediately but if you still decide to keep your mouth shut ” I chuckle wickedly “you will pas-sthrou-ghpains before you die”
He frown
“Tsk tsk still quiet?”
I took a nail and hammer”which finger will go firs……”
“You traitor!!” He curse “after everything the heads have done for you , you would had a good life if you didn’t save that princess they were ready to make you one of them ,they even gave you they’re own person yet you betrayed them”
I frown ” they did nothing for me”
He chuckle
I look at him surprised
” nothing? ” He laugh again then hiss in pain
“Well you’ve slowly enter their black list”
I frown”I don’t care”
He chuckle “you think you’re smart?”
I raise a brow
“Stupid! You would have remained in hiding ,you shouldn’t have come here!”
I stiffened “how did you know we went into hiding?”
“They could have kill all of you since but they let you go yet you betrayed them!! Have you ever wonder how all the a-ssa-ssins that betrayed them die?, did you think they’re stupid and they don’t know you could kill those a-ssa-ssins yet they sent amateurs??”
I look at him bewildered “” what are you saying ? What do you mean ” I said confuse
He laugh “you are all inside a game they create the only luck you have is that someone ………” He stop , he held his throat , he cough out blood “you will be next soon you…..traitor” he cough out blood again and stopped moving
I rush to him and check his pulse ” his dead ,: how?” I look around it’s just me and few guards
who were appointed to me
I shivered
Are we really in a game set by them? What does he mean?
I frown as I notice the fear in me
If they knew she was alive from the beginning why didn’t they kill us?
What are they planning? Just who the fuc-k are they? And how the fuc-k am i going to continue fighting with them if they’ve been using me all this while??
What should I do?
How do I protect Dawn if I can’t protect myself?
