ANDREA POV
“If you have ever lied to your p@rtner, put up your hands”Beatrice said and we that were gathered there raised our hands
After the p@rty last night, every one have decided to pl@yaround and Beatrice along with the guys were all pla-ying while seated on the field.
I stood watching them and I didn’t want to join because weird questions would be asked and I didnt want that.
Just then I got a text and it was from Max, asking me to come to the cafeteria and quic-kly I gave him a reply, telling him that I will be there soon and I was heading there when Jack pu-ll-ed me back.
“Where are you in a hurry to?”He asked
“To do some thing, I will be back soon”I said wanting to leave but he pu-ll-ed me back into his arms
Some how I found myself being in his arms, he had a strange look on his face
“Are you going to see him?”he asked
“See who?”I asked still feeling shocked that I was in his arms.
“Did you get to tell him of your feeling?” He asked again.
I had no idea what he was talking about but when he asked his last question, I finally got an inkling
“Did you tell him?”he asked again
“Since you happen to know how I feel about Max, I think you should know that he and I are d@t!ng, we haven’t told anyone about it, you are the first and I would like it if you didn’t tell any one”I said and then giving him a smile I pu-ll-ed away and ran towards the cafeteria.
I didn’t see the sad look that appeared on Jack face nor the way he clenched his fist in anger.
I got to the cafeteria only to find it empty,i walked in wondering where Max could be
I brou-ght out my phone wanting to sĀ£nd him a message when some one wra-pped his arm around me from behind
“Looking for me?”he asked as he pu-ll-ed me to him
“Where were you, I was worried”I said as I held him in my arms
“Hiding from you, I wanted to see if you will be worried by my absĀ£nce”he said
“You know I will be worried”I said sighing a bit.
Slowly he turned me in his arms and stared at me
“I will also be worried about you Andrea, so never ever leave my sight”he said and k!$$Ā£d me.
I wra-pped my arms around his nĀ£Ā¢k, returning his k!ssand unknown to us Jack stood by the door starring at us.
JACK POV
I stood by the door watching Max k!ss!ngAndrea, I felt like punching him, I felt like going to the both of them and to pu-ll them ap@rt but I held myself in check.
“What are you doing there?”Rose asked as she began to walk towards the cafeteria door.
“Nothing, let’s go”I said blocking her path
“We didn’t come together, so you can as well leave”she said wanting to go into the cafeteria but I pu-ll-ed her hand and ran off with her
When we got to a safe distance, I let go of her and quic-kly sĀ£nt a text to Andrea to get out of the cafeteria.
“What was that for”she asked after catching her breath
“Nothing “I replied and was about to leave when some thing she said stĀ©pped me
“Andrea and Max were the one in the cafeteria right? That’s why you ran off with me, so I won’t see them?”she asked
“If you know why did you pretend?”I asked
“I wanted to see what you will do, you like Andrea right?”she asked
“Why do you ask?”
“If you like Andrea and I like Max,we can both have what we want with out any difficulty ” she said
“So you are trying to ask for my help?”I asked
“Those two are quite too close for my comfort, I hate it each time I see them together and I know that with your help we can pu-ll them ap@rt” she said.
“Forget it, I would rather p@rtner with the devil than with you”I said as I began to walk off.
“Fine then, you lost your chance to be with Andrea, I know for a fact that I will be marrying Max, his parents and my parents will make that possible, that would leave Andrea devastated and am sure that by then she wouldn’t want any one in her life again, even if you went to her, she wouldn’t be yours but If you choose to help me now, you will get to have Andrea while I have Max”
I must admit that the idea sound tempting but I know better than to join hands with Rose.
“It’s still a no”I said and walked off in anger.
If Max was to marry Rose then that is bound to leave Andrea in misery
Does she even know this, I doubt that Max have told her about it.
I turned into an hall wall only to see Max walking towards me
“Just what did you text Andrea that got her leaving the cafeteria?”Max asked as he walk towards me.
Still reeling from anger,I pu-ll-ed him r0ƻghly by his shi-t
“What ever you have going with Andrea should stĀ©p now”I said and he pu-ll-ed off my hand
“Why should I listen to you ?”
“You know the kind of life we have, it’s either we get married due to some business arrangement or because our parents have chosĀ£n it, we have no say in it and we certainly can’t fight it, so before things gets worse break up with Andrea”
“I won’t break up with her and as you have said our future p@rtner are either given to us by our parents or throu-gh a business arrangement but mine will be different”Max replied fiercely
“And how will it be different when your parents have alre-ady planned your engagement with Rose, am sure Andrea doesn’t know about this?”I asked
“I will deal with my engagement with my parents m,so quit being annoying”
“Not when it comes to Andrea happiness, I won’t let you mess it up” I said and walked off angrily.
MAX POV
Hands in hands Andrea and I walked the short distance back home.
The school trip had ended and everyone head back to their respective house.
I still can’t believe that am with the girl I love although the fight I had with Jack earlier got me feeling worried.
Will my parents really f0rƧĀ£ me to marry Rose whom I still hate and dislike.
Not after what happened with Nick, they wouldn’t want to You me angry, I thought as I held Andrea hand ti-ghtly
“Is some thing bothering you?”She asked and I got out my reverie to stare at her
“Am wondering where we should go to on our first d@tĀ£”I lied
“Ahhhhh…..I think that should be left to you, you are the guy and you should be the one doing the thinking “she replied
“Really? Why can’t the girls do the thinking too”I asked
“Because we can’t be bothered, so you better start thinking of a place we can go to, i want to know how far you are willing to plea-se me”she said and wanting a bit of mischief, I pu-ll-ed her closer and said into her ear
” I know of a better way to plea-se you”
“My God Max, you really are a pl@yboy”She said as she pu-ll-ed away from me
“Why don’t I use my pla-yboy wiles on you”I said as I pursued her
“Stay away!”she yelled as she ran off but I got to her and I pu-ll-ed her to me, holding her ti-ght and giving her a k!ss.
We were so lost in
each other that we didn’t notice that some one was watching us.
“We will have to start here”She said as she stĀ©pped us both by the route that led to the house
“Start what?”
“Our pretence, I might be your girlfriend but that will only be out of your house, in your house we are only just employer and employee”she said.
“I wish I can do some thing about it”I muttered to her
“But we can’t do a thing, we both know that I would never be accepted by your parents and if they were to find out that you and I are d@t!ng, they might do some thing to separate us quic-kly and I don’t want that, not yet at least”
“What has the least p@rt got to do with this? We are not going to separate, even if my parents doesn’t wasn’t you for me,I will do my best to have you in my life , no one will separate us okay”I said and gave her a gentle k!ssbefore heading into the house first
Some how I felt that the promise I made to Andrea will never be kept.

A WEEK LATER
ANDREA POV
It’s been a week since we c@mĀ£ back from the school trip, since I have confessed my feelings to Max and it’s been a week since we have been d@t!ngsecretly.
Mom had returned from the hospital and she is getting better as days go by.
Max parents haven’t said any thing about him and Rose and if his mom noticed that he and I have gotten much closer she never said.
I keep enjoying each day as it goes because I know that when our relationsh!pis known, they will certainly put an end to it and I want to do every thing that I can with him.
Though I hate thinking of us being seprated, I know that some thing will certainly happen that will bring us ap@rt but for now I will live in the moment and spend a lot of time with Max.
It was the weekends and we didn’t have school rather than to go out I decided to stay at home and help with some of the chores.
I was spre-ading sheets on the rail outside when some one c@mĀ£ to me
“My Gosh Max, you scared me”I said as I hit him on the arm
“Why weren’t you picking my calls or answering my message?”he asked looking worried,
“I left my phone in my room and I was busy with this”I said showing him the sheets
“I thought you were avoiding my calls”he said giving me a smile
“You know I would never do that, why don’t you leave, I will go get my phone and I will call you”I said looking around but suddenly he pu-ll-ed me to him and gave me a k!sson myl-ips
“Max this Is your home and no one must ……..”
“I know but I was dying to give you a k!ss”he said as he k!$$Ā£d me again
“Okay that’s enough, go back upstairs,I will head to my room and get my phone”I said as I tried to pu-ll away only for him to pu-ll me into a hvg
“What’s going on Max?”I asked as I hvgged him back
“I just want to do this!”he replied and I tried to pu-ll free only for him to pu-ll me back
“Let’s stay like this for a while, I don’t know when I will get the chance to hold you this close again”He said
“What do you mean?”I asked still in his arms
“Just hold me back, that’s all I want right now”he said and I did as he said.
We stood like that for a while and then he let go of me and with out another word, he head to his room.
I stood still starring after him, feeling worried about his behaviour.
I went back to the room only to my mom asleep and then I took my phone and dialled his number but there was no answer from him and then I sĀ£nt him a text and there was no reply too.
What’s wrong with him,I thought as I stood at the sitting room starring upstairs.
I can’t go up stairs with out having a tangible reason and so when I saw a maid carrying a tray heading up stairs I stĀ©pped her
“This? It’s for the young master, he ordered for it”she replied
“Can I help you with it”I suggested
“Really?”she asked and i nodded
“That’s great”She said handing me the tray which was filled with a bowl of popcorn and an orange jui-ce.
Now having a reason to go to his room, I went up the stairs.
MAX POV
I layed on the be-d thinking of what happened last night.
Before last night my world only revolved around Andrea, For a week we have been d@t!ngsecretly and I can only say that I have been very happy during that week.
I have never felt so much happiness and all this is because am with the one I love, yes I love Andrea, what I feel for her is not just like, I love her so much.
And I realised this when I had that talk with my mom last night.
Slowly I let my mind drift off to what happened last night………..
FLASH BACK BEGINS
I had just finished chatting with Andrea when I felt that I had to see her.
I was heading to the kitchen when a man whom I recognised to be my mom Detective walked out of the room
Each time she calls for her detective, it’s either to spy on one of her workers at work but I haven’t heard her babble about any worker of hers acting weirdly,who could she have spied on, I thought and just then a thought struck into my head and quic-kly I went into the study and by the look on her face,I had surprise her.
“What brings you here ?”she asked as she tried to keep some pictures
I went to her and pu-ll-ed the picture away from her.
Only to see that it was of picture of Andrea and I,it had all been taken during the time we went out on d@tĀ£s after school,
“What’s this mom?”I asked
“I told you to stay away from that girl but you won’t listen?”She said
“Are you still on the point that I get engaged to Rose, you asked me to be civil towards Rose and have done that, what more do you want?”I asked
“I want you to break what ever relationsh!pyou have with that girl, you know that your father won’t ever allow you to be with a girl who is the daughter of a maid”she yelled at me
“Why can’t I be with the girl I love?”he asked
“That’s because you are our only heir and will take over the company, you will nee-d a girl from a good family and that will fit your wife and that is Rose”
“I don’t want Rose,I don’t want her!”I yelled at her
“Lower your voice boy, you don’t have a choice, your father will never let you to be with that girl and if you insist he will try to make her life a living hell, he has alre-ady asked me to fire them but I couldn’t because I know that they nee-d the job”
“If you love that girl you will stay away from her” she finished.
“And if I refuse?”I asked
“Then I will have to do as your father says, I will have to fire them and if I do fire them, you won’t ever be seeing her again, that I will as-sure you” She said.
“So,if I want her to keep on living in this house, I must stay away from her?” I asked
“Not only that, tomorrow Rose parents will be coming and you and Rose should be presĀ£nt,it’s a must”she said
“It’s like you alre-ady have every thing mapped out”I said
“It’s better than your father doing it, once he returns am sure that he will be doing far worse”she said.
“Fine then, so be it, I will stay away from Andrea and i will also be there tomorrow and in exchange you will leave Andrea and her mom here, they have no where to go and Andrea can’t afford to leave Jupiter high” I said.
“If you agree to stay away from her, I might even sponsor Andrea and have her mom stĀ©p worrying about the fee for school , what happens to Andrea depends on you”She said
“Just let her be ,that’s all I ask of you “I said as I left the study
FLASH BACK END
I layed on the be-d Starring at Andrea picture, it’s the one we took on the beach, even till today she hasn’t let me take a picture of her but she had a lot of collection of me on her phone
This picture is the only thing I have of her and the only thing I will treasure for ever .
I don’t know when I will be able to talk to her again because some one will be watching.
Just then there was a knock on the door and knowing that it will be the maid with my popcorn and jui-ce,I went to the door only to see Andrea there.
“You ordered for popcorn and jui-ce and I brou-ght it here myself”she said giving me a smile.
I took the tray from her and pu-ll-ed her into a ti-ght hvg.
I just can’t see myself staying away from her,I can’t see myself living un-der the same roof with out talking to her.
Hell will break loose before I let go of her,I thought as I held her ti-ghtly.
