MARY POV
I stood in front of the mirror , all dressed and re-ady for school.
I wouldn’t deny, Jupiter high uniform fits me perfectly and it gives me a certain aura,I thought as I picked up my bag and went down stairs.
I saw my mom by the phone, she was talking to some one and she had a smile on her face, i ha-rd ly see her smile like that, who is she talking to that is ma-king her smile in that manner.
“A restaurant? Hope it’s not that fancy place you took me to the last time”
“Fine then, I would prefer that place”
“No, I don’t think we should tell them yet, we just started going out Jack, I think we should just hold on”she said
What? Mom and Jack are going out,I thought as I kept on listening to the conversation
“Fine then! I will see you in the evening”she said and switched off the phone.
I hid behind the door and watched her walk into the kitchen to cook the meal
“Mary! Come down now or you will be late for school”She yelled and quic-kly I pretended that I was just coming downstairs.
“Wow, look at my baby,you look gorgeous”she said as I went to sit at a chair to eat break fast
“Thanks mom, after all I take after you”i said.
I didn’t ask her about Jack because I didn’t want to pry and if she has a reason for not telling us then it should be left that way, mom have always been alone and if she has some one now am content with it.
“Won’t it be better to take a taxi!”she asked as she walked me to the bus station
“It would but I don’t want to, I don’t mind walking into the school, I know the school is meant for rich kids, that is one of the reason you asked me not to go but don’t worry, they are social care students like me and I don’t mind if am not rich like the other students, so don’t worry mom, I will be fine”I said softly and she nodded her head.
As soon as the bus arrived,I boarded it and when it got to its next stĀ©p, I got off and walked into the gate.
This is it, my dream school, here I come, I thought as I walked past other students who you could tell that they are all rich.
A car drove past us but I wasn’t really interested in it because I got a message from James.
“How was your night! Hope you are re-ady for school today”on re-ading his message it made me remember what he said last night.
He said some thing about attending this school too, what am I going to do if he comes to school?
“Why would he even like some one like me”I said and I didn’t realise that I had said it out so loud until I saw the other students starring at me
“Sorry! ” I muttered and began to walk fast but I stĀ©pped when I heard them whispering and I thought that it was about me but I saw them starring afar.
I also stared at the same place and was shocked at who I saw standing talking to a woman, it could be his mom!
“Isn’t he so hand some?”
“I wonder what clas-s he is?”
“If he is single,I don’t mind going after him”
“Why the hell is here? “I said and the three girls who had spoken earlier stared at me
I turned to see them starring at me and I gave them a smile which they ignored and walk off.
I turned to see if he was gone but I stood shocked when I saw him starring at me.
I watched him wave his mother off and began to head towards me.
“Oh no!”I muttered and began to head back out side and if I hadn’t been watching, the car driving in would have hit me.
I was still reeling from shock when the driver got out of his car.
Just by hearing the scream every one made, I knew who it was before he got to me
“Are you okay?”James asked as he stood in front of me
“Yes,am okay”I said still shaking a bit
“I don’t think you are okay!”he said as he held my hand
“What are you doing?”I asked
“I will drive you in, you are still shaking from the shock”he said as he pushed me into his car and got in beside me .
I sat in the car and stared out only to see the rude jĀ£rk starring at me throu-gh the car.
James held my hand ma-king me look at him and then he k!$$Ā£d it.
“What are you doing?”I asked trying to pu-ll away but he held it ti-ght
“Am I not even allowed to k!ssyour hand ?” He asked giving me a smile and then he began to drive off.
I turned to see if he was still standing there but he wasn’t there.
He wouldn’t have seen that k!ssright? I thought.
As soon as James stĀ©pped the car, I got out of it and he did the same thing too
“Wait let me go in with you!”he said
“I’d rather you don’t do that, I want to go in my self”I said and with out waiting to hear his reply, I began to head in.
A lot of students were starring at me and am sure that it’s because of James, after all they would be wondering what a h0t sh0t is doing with a girl like me.
With the help of no one, I got to the teacher office to register but I stĀ©pped when I saw him there alre-ady.
“Come in! You must have come to register too!”the teacher said leaving there no room for me to escape.
I walked in and as the teacher asked him some questions, he asked me too
“Your father is Max Callaghan, isn’t he that wealthy ty……”
“I would like it if you don’t talk about my father”he said quic-kly and the teacher stĀ©pped with his questions.
“Let me go and get your ID for you two”He said and walked out of the office.
There was silence in the room as soon as the teacher left, I turned to look at him,only to find him starring at me
“Do you have some thing to ask?”he asked
The thing about his father made me curious but I held it in
“Nothing!”I said swiftly hoping the teacher will get back soon, I don’t know why I always feel nervous around him.
“I have some thing to ask if you don’t !”he said and I turned to stare at him
“What?”
“Are you d@t!ngJames?”he asked
“Of course not!”my answer was so swift that he gave me a smile
“Why do you ask and why are you smiling? Are you ma-king fun of me because I don’t ……..”I stĀ©pped when he moved his chair close to mine
“Why are you coming close !”I asked shrinking back on my seat
“Tell me why he is always around yiu?”he asked
“Well that is because his father is a friend of my mom”I said
“You don’t like him right?”he asked again
“I don……wait why am I even answering your questions?”I said to myself
“If my father becomes your mom friend m, would you be close to me!”he asked softly
“Why would my mom be close to your father?”I asked
“Once a man and woman are close,it only means one thing and that is they are lovers, your mom being close with his dad certainly means some thing and you being close to that guy means some thing too, so quit the act and tell me right now, are you that guy lover?”he asked
“Really is that the only thing you can come up with! I can’t believe you said that!”I said getting angry
“Then tell me why he is always around you? A guy won’t act that way if you aren’t…….”
“Don’t you dare complete it, don’t you! I can tolerate any thing but you insulting my purity is some thing I won’t take from you or from any one else”I said seething with anger
“Just because he is always around me doesn’t mean that am slee-ping with him and you having such thought makes you an idiot”I said and the teacher walked in handing us our ID card
“Your clas-s is…….”
“My clas-s is down by the right, I know it because you have told me, excuse me sir”I said and left the room.
I was still seething with anger as I went to my clas-s.
Why would he think such a thing, it some how hurt hearing him say such a thing and I don’t even know why!.

DANIEL POV
Having taken my ID, I head to my clas-s, it would also be the same one as Mary.
Why did I behave like a jĀ£rk towards her awhile ago
It would only be because I was jealous, seeing her with James got me feeling jealous.
I had said the first thing that c@mĀ£ to my head and now have gotten her angry, I thought as I took notice that people were starring at me, most especially the girls.
“Wow he is so handsome”
“I like him alre-ady”
“The way he walks make my heart flutter ”
“He looks like a god”
I sighed as I listened to all of their compliment, I should be used to this right? I thought as I got to the clas-s.
I walked in only for the students in the clas-s to stare at me.
I stood by the door way looking for Mary and i found her sitting on the third seat, she was talking to a girl , seems like she has made some new friend, I thought as I began to head towards her only to stĀ©p when James walked into the clas-s.
He spĀ©tted Mary and went towards her, the girl beside her skrie-k in happiness, she was seeing an idol for the first time and Mary gave him a look which showed that she didn’t want him in the same clas-s as her
“Would you mind moving, I want to seat there”James said
“Why should she move? Go and look for some where else to seat”Mary replied
” But I want to seat next to you”he said softly
“But I don’t want to, some people will keep on having weird thoughts if you should seat with me”She said and stared at me
“Fine then, I will just seat behind you, that will be much better”James said going to seat on the empty seat at her back
“You can seat here, it’s free”some one said beside me and I turned to see a nerdy looking girl starring at me.
I would have preferred to seat somewhere else but I had no choice because the teacher walked in.
I took the seat beside her and clas-s began, if Mary is not really d@t!ngJames as she says, I have an apology to make, I thought as I left the clas-s.
MARY POV
“I never knew there can be a lot of food at a school?”I said as I put in a lot of food in my plate
“You sure do eat a lot Mary”Miranda said as we both walked to an empty table to munch on our meal
It was lunch time and every one was at the cafeteria to get some thing to eat.
Miranda is the first friend I made when I got to clas-s.
She is cute,friendly and charming and i prefer her friend sh!pthan to those of the snobbish looking girls who were starring at me a while ago.
“Are you really sure that you and James aren’t an item?”Miranda asked for the fifth time
“We are not Miranda,am not d@t!ngJames”I answered for the fifth time
“So why? Why did he want me to leave so he can seat beside you? Why was he glaring at you throu-gh the whole of today clas-s”she asked
“Well….I don’t know”I said quic-kly.
“Well I do know some thing and that is you are the talk of the school now”She said
“Me?”I asked surprise
“You were seen getting into James car this morning, every one thinks that you two are d@t!ng”Miranda said
I wasn’t given the chance to explain myself because the cafeteria went up roar with a lot of noise
“It’s James and he is coming our way!”Miranda said and I sighed
If James keeps on doing this then every one will think that am really his girlfriend
He pu-ll-ed out a chair and sat down close to me
“What are you having? Mind if I have too”he said trying to take cutlery
“I think you should get your own food your self “I said
“Don’t be a meanie, your friend wouldn’t mind giving me her food right? “He asked Miranda
“I wouldn’t mind at all”Miranda said
“Common give me, I wanna eat”He said
“Then you can have it all, I just lost my appetite”I said wanting to get up but he held me back
“Why are you being cold towards me today, is it because he is here?”James asked
“Who are you even talking about?”I asked
“You know who I am talking about”he said softly
“Am not being cold towards you or any one James, all I want right now is to have a bit of peace of mind and you look around you! You aren’t giving me that James, Every one thinks that am d@t!ngyou and right now they are talking about me”I said
he looked around and saw that the other students were starring at us
“Mary I……..”
“Don’t say any thing James and plea-se do not follow me when I leave”I said and got up from the chair heading out side.
I went straight to school roof tĀ©p, enjoying the calm cool air calmed a bit of my nerves.
All I ever wanted is to study ha-rd and excel, I don’t want to be the talk of the school neither do I want to d@tĀ£ any one, my study and dancing comes first, I thought.
But James being James wouldn’t let me have that and ………..I couldn’t complete my word because I began to feel pain in my stomach and then I let out a fart
It didn’t come out once but thrice and I am lucky that no one was around to hear or smell it.
“Was it some thing I ate?”I muttered to myself
“It might be but It smells really bad!”Hearing Daniel behind me, I stood in shock
“Did you see that ? Every thing? “I asked as I turned towards him and he nodded softly
“I did”
“Oh no”I muttered feeling embarras-sed
“It’s not some thing to be shy about , you should ……..”I didn’t wait for him to speak finish, I ran off heading towards the rest room
Did he see all that? How humiliating! I thought as i put my fore head on the school glas-s
“Today is Certainly the worst day of my life”I thought softly.
ANDREA POV
“Wow this restaurant is much more clas-sy”I said as both Jack and I walked in
“I knew that you would like this place, that is why I brou-ght you here”he said as we were ursshered to our seat by the an attendant.
I sat down and picked up the menu book to check out the content
“What would you like to eat Jack, I will go with what ever you choose”I said still starring at the menu and when he didn’t reply, I turned to look at him only to see him starring at me.
“What’s wrong? Is some thing on my face?”I asked
“No,am just soaking in your beauty”He said and I smiled
“StĀ©p teasing me Jack!”I said softly and he held my hand and k!$$Ā£d it softly
“Am not teasing you, I mean it, you are still as beautiful as ever and am lucky”he said softly
“Lucky for what?”I asked
“Lucky to have you in my life, thanks for giving me a chance” he said as he k!$$Ā£d my hands again
“Wow! What a beautiful scene”someone said softly and we both look up to see Rose standing in front of us
“Tell me? Are you two finally together?”She asked ma-king me feel uncomfortable.
“Why are you here Rose? To ruin our appetite?”Jack asked
“Of course not! ,It’s been so long since we have seen each other, I just want us to reunite”She said as she sat on an empty seat at our table
“And where would your husband be?aren’t you suppose to be with him”Jack asked
“Oh he is parking the car, he will be here soon”She said starring at me
After the k!ssI shared with him,I havent seen him since then and having to see him now got me feeling all jittery
“Why don’t you find some where else to seat”Jack said
“Why should I do that when the four of us can manage perfectly ” she said
“Oh he has arrived”she said raising her hand for him to see where she was
He began to head to our table but when he saw me and Jack sitted, he stĀ©pped .
He gave Rose a look and when he saw that she was starring at him, she gave him a smile
“Look who I found! Jack and Andrea, common let’s have dinner with them”she said
“Let’s go Rose”he said softly
“Why? It’s been long since we have seen each other, let’s have a chat with them, just have a seat cause I won’t be leaving here”Rose said
“Fine then, let’s have dinner with them”he said and sat down too.
