JACK POV
“Let go you! You are hurting me”She said as we got to the hall and immediately I let her go.
“What is your problem?”she asked
“You really want to know what my problem is? That is you Rose”I said angrily.
“Well you aren’t my problem and I don’t give a darn If am your problem” she said
“You really are a bit-ch”I said and she gave me an evil sm-irk
“Why? Is it because of what I did to your beloved Andrea, sorry about that but I just cant stand watching the other students being lied to”she said
“Well you did a great job every one now knows that Andrea is a liar and a fake”
“At least they know the truth”she said
“And so tell me, by telling them the truth has It gained you any thing, I will bet that you did it to have Max by your side but is he with you now?”I asked and that got her annoyed.
“And what about you? Aren’t you suppose to be out there looking for her, you should be grate ful that i did this, i at least c@mĀ£ out with the truth, Max knows about my feelings but what about you? Have you told Andrea yet that you like her, does she know about your feelings, I doubt that and I doubt if I will keep on staying in the shadows like you.”she finished h0tly
“Me being in the shadows still got me Andrea respect, what about you? Can you say the same for your self?”I asked
“You might think that you won this time but you should br@ce your self for more cause i believe that Andrea will come back being much more stronger ”
“Your act today only cost you nothing because the guy you did it for is out there looking for the girl he loves, you will only regret what you did today” I finished
“I won’t regret it”she said with tears in her eyes.
“In the past I thought highly of you but now, I only see you as a piece of thrash”I finished and walked off knowing that what I said will hurt her a lot.
MAX POV
I ran around looking for Andrea but she was no where to be found.
I could not find her at the cafe where we study or at home or any of the places we have visited together.
It frustrates me just not knowing where she might be.
I should have been there with her, I should have gone to school today, I should never have broke up with her!
Where could she be? I thought as I began to head back home.
It was getting dark and she is not back yet,I brou-ght out my phone and dialled her number and still there was no answer.
I got back home and heading in when I saw her mother heading towards me.
quic-kly I ran to her “Good evening ma’am, plea-se is Andrea back?” I asked and she nodded gently
“Can I see her?”I asked
“Am afraid that you have missed her, she just left again”She Answered
“Where did she go to? plea-se tell me ?”I urged her.kindly Hi waploaded story Home on zero eight one eight seven eight six six two six seven to join our story group.
“I don’t know, she just said that she was going to a friend house to spend some couple of days, she looked sad and her eyes were swollen from tears, can you plea-se tell me what happen?”She asked looking worried
“I didnt want to ask her cause I felt that she would be more sad, so I kept shut But you might know some thing right plea-se tell me what you know?”She asked
“Every thing is okay, you don’t have to worry”I lied hoping she buy it
“I will try to give her a call again”I said as I excused myself .
If Andrea hadn’t said a thing to her it was to keep her from being worried and I must also do the same thing too, she got out of the hospital, we won’t want some thing bad to happen to her.
Taking out my phone again, I called Andrea only for it to go to voice mail again.
“Andrea this is the tenth voice mail am sĀ£nding to you, at least answer my call or text me back, am worried about you and I…..I……just keep on remembering that I love you okay,I will be waiting for your call”I said and caught the call
I hope she calls and reply me back ………
ANDREA POV
“I……I…..just keep on remembering that I love you okay, I will be waiting for your call”
I sighed as I received a tenth voice call from Max ,how can I reply or pick his calls when am a total mess my self.
I can’t believe that the secret have been trying ha-rd to keep is finally out in the open.
No one except Max knows my secret and would he have told Rose, After all they are both engaged
“Just keep on remembering that I love you”
Max loves me , he wouldn’t have told Rose a thing, why am I even doubting him? I thought as I took the bus.
How can today have gone wrong, I was still thinking about Max engagement to Rose yet another problem had to arise again.
I knew this day will come but I never thought that it will happen soon.
I can still remember the hateful comment I heard from the students today .
Slowly my mind drifted off to when I was still at school.
“Tell us Andrea? Are you really the daugher of a maid?”Beatrice asked again and feeling nervous, I began to shake all over .
I never thought that today will be the day every one know the truth.
What am I going to do? I thought as I stood frozen by the door .

“And she had lied to us,I can’t believe this?” Some students said
“I didn’t mean to”I muttered softly
“But you did, to think that have been friends with the daughter of a maid irritates me
“A poor thing acting like a rich thing”
“Why don’t you leave, you belong here in the first place”
“Get out you liar”Another student c@mĀ£ pushing me by the shoulder
I stared at Beatrice and Brenda and they both look sad.
Beatrice was alre-ady crying, while Brenda was holding onto her.
“Leave you stupid maid”Another said as they pushed me again
“Let me explain”I said
“We don’t want your explanation, All we want you to do now is to leave,we can’t have the daughter of a maid here, get out”she began and then the other students began to say it too, they kept on telling me to get out.
Feeling that I had nothing to say that will convince, I ran out of the clas-s and out of Jupiter high too.
The bus jo-lting me out of my reverie and quic-kly I got down heading to my place of destination.
I decided to leave the mansion for some days, I have to think about every thing with out being worried about my mom or with out Max calling or looking for me.
His mom is right when she says that some one else will be good for her, I can never match up to the looks and riches of Rose, I always wondered why Some one like max fell for me and am also glad for the time we spent together but I know that if this keeps on going,I will only ruin Max and I don’t want that .
He should be with some one of his Caliber, am not good for him and I don’t think I will ever be a good enough.
So it’s best that we just keep our distance fir now, in time am sure that he will un-der stand and though it hurts, he will focus on his engagement to Rose and he will forget about me completely.

ANDREA POV
I got to my destination and I told the guards that am a friend of the person living there and they were at first doubtful about me and so they made a call to the owner.
At first I thought that she will refuse me but I was surprised when I was told to go in, I never thought that after what happen at school today, she will let me into her house
I was still looking around the big mansion when Brenda walked out of the house.
“Good evening”I greeted
“Why are you here?”She asked looking more surprised than any thing else.
“I never thought that you will be Coming here, after what you did “She said
“I have no place to go that is why I c@mĀ£ here”
“Why would you pick my place out if every where to go to” she asked
“Because you were the only one who didn’t say a thing, your eyes weren’t condemning like the rest”I said softly
“Just because I didn’t ask any question doesn’t mean am not mad at you”She said
“I know that what I did is upsetting and am sorry about it, can I stay at your house tonight, I have no where to go”I said
“No! I don’t want you at my house, just go”she said and went back to her house.
She was my only hope, every one else was angry but she wasn’t and I thought that she will be willing to help but it turns out that she is also angry.
I turned to leave only to hear the door open again.
“I will let you stay only if you tell me why you lied”She said and i smiled at her
Though she might be angry, she wouldnt let me sleep out on the streets, I thought as I gave her a smile.

“What did your father say about my staying?”I asked as I stood in her room, waiting for her to come in.
“Nothing, my friends coming to stay in my house is none of his business just as his work and love life is none of my business too, so come,tell me why you lied”She said as she pu-ll-ed me to her be-d.
“It’s a long story, would you still want to listen to it?”I asked
“I have all the time in the world, you see when every one was judging you, I kept quiet only because I knew that there must be a reason for you lying to us, I wanted you to say it back then but when you didn’t I was a bit disasapointed”she said
“What about Beatrice? Is she disasapointed or angry at me?”I asked
“I wouldn’t say she is disappointed but instead I will say she sad,. You didn’t trust us enough to tell us the truth, that really hurts, you know after you left, she was very said, she couldn’t stĀ©p crying”She added
“Am sorry, I didn’t mean to keep it a secret and I trust both you and Brenda”I said
“Then why did you keep it a lie?”She asked
“Because I didn’t want you to hate me, I didn’t want you to be disappointed in me, you see in my former school, I was bullied and that was because they found out I was poor, my mom is some one who is obsessed about sĀ£nding me to a rich school”
“But why insist on sĀ£nding you to a rich school, she could have sĀ£nd you to a public school.”She said
” I once asked her that and she said that she didn’t want me to be like her, you see she went to a public school, did her best to finish college and when it was time for her to get a job, she didn’t get one and that is because of the poor school she attended, no one would accept her even when she good, after searching for jobs and not finding one, she decided to get a pick up jobs, she did all sort of jobs and that was to save up for me, she didn’t want me to be her ”
“For years I had to watch her work her self to the bone and some times I blame myself for it but I can’t keep on blaming myself forever, all I have to do is to make sure her effort on me works out, so I lied just to be free of other students criticising me and also to be free from being bullied”I finished softly
“But you shouldn’t be afraid Andrea, you should have come out with the truth and if any one still condemned you, we would have fought for you, You should be proud of your mom, she works as a maid and yet she pays for your school tuition, if I were you I would have proudly told every one about my mom””Brenda said softly
“I know right! Am a coward”I added softly
“No you are not ,you were scared of being bullied and so you told us all a lie, you did it to protect your self”She said as-suring me and I hvgged her.
“Thank you Brenda, thanks for not judging me”I said
“That’s because I now know the reason you lied, am sure that if the others know about this too, they will un-derstand”She replied as she gave me a ti-ght hvg
“Will Beatrice un-der stand too?”I asked
“Yes she will, once she knows why you did it”She said and i gave her a smile.
“You know it’s been long since have had a sleep over, I like it that you are here”She said happily
Just then my phone began to ring again and it was Max.
“Who is that? Oh its Max”She said as she saw the caller.
“You can pick, I will give you privacy if you want”
“No don’t worry, I won’t be picking his call”I said as I caught the call.
“I think you should pick it, he has been worried about you, as soon as you left he c@mĀ£ running in and he was not even in his uniform and when Joshua said some thing rude about you, he was about to hit him, of Geoffrey hadn’t held him back, the guy would have ended at a hospital, Some how I think that he is very protective of you and now that I think about it, he always accompany us if you are there, could it be that…….”
“Max and i like each other”I said and she stared at me in surprise
“I don’t want any secrets between us that is why have decided to tell you this, you are the first one am telling”I said
“You two like each other, I just can’t believe it”She said
“Why can’t you ?”
“Max strikes me as some one who doesn’t like a girl, you know I kind of see him as the pla-yer type”She said and i smiled wistfully
“He is not a pla-yer, Max is sweet and kind and too good for me, we were d@t!ngsecretly for a week and I can say that he made me the most happiest girl during that week”I said having a sad look
“Wow, how can you keep such thing a secret from me”She said
“I had to keep it a secret because I didn’t want people talking and also because of his mind who wants Rose for him”I said
“That’s right! I heard that they got engaged? What about you!”she asked
“What do you think, we had to break up “I said
“But he still calling you and the way he acted when he was looking for you, I think he still cares about you” she said
“He still care about me,he still loves me and I still love him but he can’t be with me and I can’t be wit h him, I shouldn’t have set my eyes on him, I should have stayed away but I had foolishly let my heart go to him, I love him but he can never be mine and so it’s best that I stay away from him”I said
