“I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU TRY,” a cold dangerous voice said
They turned in the direction of the voice to see a man standing in front of a very expensive car with a fiery eye, he looks like he could kill any moment
Taking a few steps towards them the crowd part ways for him, he looked at the man then at the lady he was still held by the hair, she has a cut on her li-ps and blood traced on her mouth
“If only you know who she is,” he muttered and slowly lifted his head up
“Oh are you her savior, she’s me….” That was interrupted by a Punch
He punched the man on his jaw making him stand still for a while, everyone watched closely and to their surprise, the man falls heavily on the grand, and three of his teeth falls out
The boys made to charge toward him, he stood his ground waiting for them, the first person throws a punch and he ducked it making it hit their gang members,
He did a handstand and sent two of the guys down, within a short while they were all groa-ning In pain,
He walked up to the man who was still regaining his strength from the unknown Punch and grabbed him by his collar designing his face with punches
“How dare you touch her,” he yelled and continue punching him
The man’s breathing quickened and his face was already covered with bruise and blood
The others joined them and quickly pulled him away from the man who falls lifelessly on the floor
Lucas runs to unconscious Chelsea and carried her to his car while others carried Bella

ALIVE HOSPITAL*
“I need help, someone call the doctor,” Lucas shouted as he made his way into the building
Two doctors and some nurses rushed to them with a scratcher, he placed Chelsea on it and they carried her away
A few minutes later Jason and the others arrived with Bella and she was also carried away, they all waited in the hallway expecting news from the doctor
They contact the others already and everyone was present, they waited patiently for the doctors to come out and it was like forever for Lucas
Shortly after the doctors came out with no expression on their faces, Lucas was the first to run toward them
“How is she?” He asked
“Well she’s out of danger for now, and she was lucky enough, if you didn’t bring her here on time she might not……”
“Go straight to the point am losing it,” Lucas yelled with fiery eyes
Mrs. Hillary place her hand on his shoulder and pet him gently
“The good news is, she’s out of danger and might wake up soon, well the bad news is she has amnesia, it might take time before she recovers cos her brain is still not stable,” the second doctor said
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Steve asked
“Can I at least see her,” Lucas asked
“Sure, but don’t talk about the past” the doctor instructed and left
“Hi, it’s me, Lucas, I know you can hear me, he stopped and Remove the strains of hair on her face then continue, am sorry for all that I put you throu-gh, you are indeed a good person and if it wasn’t for me you wouldn’t have ended up this way, I wish I can make things right again,” he said and sobbed slowly
“Am sorry for all this and I promise to make that bastard pay for all that he did to you, please wake up soon, I feel empty these few days that you have not been around and my heart was searching for you, I never give up hope on finding you and my heart hurt to know that you’re laying here just because of me,” he stopped as tears flow down his cheeks
“Am sorry for everything, he continues* I never knew that I love you this much until you were gone, everything about me seem to stop working when I couldn’t see or hear your sweet voice again, I missed the way you always tell me that am not your boss,” he chuckled lightning
“Is he giving a love speech?” Jason asked looking around to see everyone in tears already
“Maybe, have start jotting it down already can’t wait to read to the next p**sy I will be Fu-cking,” Steve replied bringing out a pen and paper
“You both are crazy,” Richa-rd added and hit them lightly
“Why are you all crying,” Steve asked when he noticed girls sobbing
“Have never seen him this weak, he must love her very much,” Richa-rd asked sadly as if he wants to cry also
Mrs. Hillary hug-ged Mr. Smith and Lucy hug-ged Sandra who was close to her but Jason saw that and pulled Lucy away from her
“Hug me instead,” he pouted
“Am here for you sweetie come to daddy don’t mind this jealous freak,” Steve said and pulled Sandra to his body
“I pity those that don’t have a girlfriend,” Steve winked at Richard
“Crazy people everywhere,” Richa-rd muttered and turned his gaze back to Lucas
“Please wake up soon, I really missed you so much, I promise to be the best man I can be just for you, wake up soon am going crazy, I love you more than anything in this world please wake up already,” he said in tears and kis-s her li-ps slowly
A drop of tears falls from his eyes and landed on her li-ps as he pulled away from her, she moved a finger but no one saw it, he made to walk away as tears kept falling from his eyes but she suddenly hold his hand and muttered a word
“Please!” She said but it came as a whisper
He turned instantly and looked at her with surprised
“Don’t live,” she mumbled with her eyes still closed
“I wouldn’t I promise,” Lucas said and sit beside her stro-king her hear gently
“Bella,” she mumbled

STATION*
Bella’s dad and his boys have been beaten beyond recognition by their jail inmate
“Heard you guys specialize in beating women?” Jail President asked but when he gets no response he punched Bella’s dad’s already wounded face
“And you all are his minions,” he said and went towards them
He grabbed one person by his ne-ck and start choking him
“I hate guys that beats woman,” he said still choking him

ALIVE HOSPITAL* Next day*
Others were already gone, Richa-rd left cos he had an appointment with his therapist, and Steve and Sandra left at the same time cos they needed to buy a few things for school
Jason left earlier cos he got a call at the company, he later called Lucy to join him so she could arrange his schedule
Mrs. Hillary left to prepare some food Incase if she woke up, Mr. Smith went to the station while Lucas stayed behind
“How is she?” Lucas asked the doctor who finished checking on her
“She is fine and as I said earlier, don’t remind her of the past cos she might wake up at any time,” he replied
“Bella…” Chelsea muttered again
“That reminds me, she has been saying this same name for over an hour now,” Lucas said staring at the doctor
“you need to find whoever is that, the person will be a good help for her to wake up quickly,” he replied
“There is this girl she came with I don’t know if she’s the one, but I will check on her,” he replied and stood

Getting to the ward he saw Bella sitting at the edge of the bed hugging her knees
“Hey, how are you,” Lucas said gently but get no response
“You don’t need to be afraid I won’t hurt you, you are Bella right,” he said and she nodded
“Where is the pretty lady,” she asked instead
“I will take you to her, come with me,” he said walking out and she followed

“Miss,” Bella called immediately after she entered the ward and saw her laying down lifelessly on the bed
She rushed towards her but was stopped by Lucas,
“Easy girl, ” he said
“Bella, baby…..” Chelsea mumbled again
“Am here miss, am sorry for your pain,” she said sadly and hold Chelsea’s hand then hug-ged her afterward crying on her body
As if a miracle happened, Chelsea slowly open her eyes, everything was black at first as she tried to adjust
“Baby” she called gently more like a whisper
“Miss, I was afraid I thought I won’t see you again,” Bella said still hugging her
“Hey,” Lucas said as he moved towards them making Bella disengage from the hug
“Who are you?” Chelsea asked looking strangely at him
“This is what I was afraid of, he thought silently before facing her, it’s me, Lucas,” he replied
“Lucas,” she said emphasizing the word
“Don’t know you?” She slowly asked
“Yes, I mean no,” he replied quickly
why does it sound familiar,” she said trying to remember where she heard the name
“Don’t think too much it’s not…….
“Ouch, my head, my head… It hurts,” she suddenly
“Doctor, doctor,” Lucas yelled and runs out of the place
“My head,” was the last thing she said and everything went black
The doctor rushed in and Lucas was for-ced to stay outside, few minutes pa-ssed and the doctors were still didn’t come out
He kept tapping his feet on the ground, after what seemed like forever the doctor finally came out with a sad expression on his face
“How is she?” Lucas asked as he rushed to him immediately
“Am sorry we did all we could,” he replied
Mrs. Hillary who was just coming in heard that and froze in her sport
“Wait, what, you are joking right?” he asked
“Am sorry, we couldn’t save her, we tried all we could,” the doctor added and left
