Paps could be seen beside his sister who was laying down on the bed, he stared endlessly at her without saying a word
He stood up from the bed and start walking out of the room, he got to the door and made to twist the handle when his sister’s said something
“Did you come to know if I was truly alive?” She asked slowly
He walked back to her and stared at her
“You were never like this before, look what you did to yourself,” he mumbled
“I know I made a very big mistake, I was just too foolish to un-derstand that you can’t for-ce someone to love you,” she muttered already in tears
“I hope Derek will forgive me and come see me one day, I was just seeking revenge and now look where it ends me,” she added
“I told you but you never listen, you are the only family I have, I would have protected you with all I have but instead you insisted on getting revenge on the innocent man that did nothing to you,” Paps said angrily and stood
“I tried my best for you, I did all I could to make you happy but what did you pay me back with…..” He said and hit his hand on the edge of the bed

“Don’t Williams me, I sacrificed everything I have just for you and now this, did you even know how I managed to survive the bomb blast, you heard that I was dead yet you didn’t care,” he added looking angrily at her
“Am sorry Will,” she whimpered
“Now look at my son, he hasn’t been himself since that girl went missing, did you think am happy with that? I loved you and tolerated everything you did expecting that you will change one day but little did I know that you can never change,” he said sadly
“I have changed, I promise,” she quickly said
“Oh please, you said that to me many times yet you keep getting worse, I wish you died,” he added and began walking out of the room
“Am sorry Williams, I have learned my lessons now, please don’t live me like this,” she sobbed but paps ignored her and walked out of the door
“Williams, come back! Please am sorry come back,” she cried out

“Will, am sorry come back,” she said as tears flow freely from her cheeks

“how did the search go?” Steve asked
“No progress, we search all the neighboring villages but found nothing,” Richa-rd replied
“Yeah except for a girl who was acting weird,” Jason added and they all laughed
“I wish I was there,” Steve said and laughed
“Weird as how,” Lucas who has been quite asked
“Like she wanted to say something but didn’t know how or what to say, but she kept looking at me and when I made to follow her she disappeared” Jason replied
“Damn it, I know it, I know she’s alive,” Lucas said and stoop up
“What did you mean,” both Steve and Jason asked
“That girl might be the key to finding her, you said she was staring at you right,” he asked and Jason nodded
“She was saying something with her eyes but you didn’t un-derstand, she might be afraid of something that’s why she was staring at you, damn it, why didn’t you tell me,” Lucas said
“I didn’t know, I thought she was……”
“Describe the place you saw her am running out of patience,” Lucas interrupted
“The last village, she’s like 14 years old or so, she has blond her and….”
Lucas runs out before he could finish

Chelsea walked out of the house but didn’t see anyone, she looked around the house and still didn’t see any sign of Bella or her father
“Bella,” she called walking around the house
She went to the backyard but still didn’t see anyone, she decided to check the neighborhood when she heard some sounds from the basement
She took slow steps toward it and slowly peeped throu-ghthe door since it was slightly opened, she was shocked and didn’t believe what her eyes saw
Bella was slowly removing her clothes while two fat men stood and watch, she has already removed all her clothes and is now left with only her undies
One of the men smile lustfully and made to touch her back she moved backward with teary eyes
“Did I need to talk before you remove those things,” another person said and Chelsea recognize that voice instantly
Bella holds her bra with a shaky hand and made to pull it off but Chelsea pushed the door open shocking them all
“What are you doing here, and you put those things on,” Bella’s father diverted his gaze to Chelsea
“What’s going on here?” She asked looking at them with disgust
“It’s not what you think, and you are not supposed to be here,” Bella’s father said calmly
“Go guys deal is off,” he said to the men
“What do you mean the deal is off? Where is my money?” The first man said
“Yes refund us,” another added
“I will be back,” he said to Chelsea and left with the men
She walked towards Bella who was crying and placed her hand on her shoulder
“Baby…” She called slowly
Silence
“Baby are you alright, did they hurt you?” She asked
Bella only increases her cries without saying anything, she buried her face in her palms and refused to look at her
“Baby look at me,” she said
“Go home, you are not supposed to see this, it’s embarra-ssing. Ok fine, this is what I have been hiding from you, he does this all the time, ok! is not new, he touches me anyhow and anywhere he wants and I can’t do anything about it,” She replied
“Oh my baby, I will take you away from here I promise,” she said already in the pool of tears
“He’s so horrible,” she mumbled and hug-ged her
SAME DAY* 3:00 PM
“Are you sure about this miss,” Bella asked
“Yes, let’s keep going might see help,” Chelsea replied
They were running to the city, Chelsea couldn’t watch Bella being abused by her wicked father and decided to run away with her
“Am tired, I can’t run anymore,” Bella said and they stopped to rest
“Baby we need to keep going your dad might have come back and noticed our obscene,” Chelsea said
“You go without me, he can do anything he wants with me,” Bella replied
“Never, am never living you here, climb on my back,” she said and carried her
They succeeded in coming from the bush but didn’t expect what was waiting for them outside
“Dad,” Bella whisper
His father was standing on the road with a group of boys,
“Is this how you repay me, by running away with my daughter,” he said but Chelsea kept quiet
“I gave you everything, and this is how you repay my kindness,” he yelled and grabbed her hair rou-ghly making Bella fall from her
“Dad, please stop you are hurting her,” Bella pleaded but received a thun-derous slap which made her lose consciousness
He slapped Chelsea and pushed her down, making her hurt her wrist, he grabbed her hair rou-ghly and tears streamed down her cheeks
“You’re hurting me,” she said in tears
“How dare you, I gave you everything,” he replied and punched her stomach really head
“Am sorry, please stop hurting me,” she said weakly and vomit blood
“You’re mine and mine alone you shall be, nobody will change that,” he said and punched her stomach
Many people gathered around them watching the scan, but no one dare to say a word
He for-cefully made her face him before slapping her again making her cheeks turn red instantly, a middle-aged woman who seems not to take it anymore speak up
“Young Man, I demand you to stop this at once,” she shouted looking angrily at him
“You have no right to tell me what to do with my subjects, mind your business, or I will be for-ced to help you with it,” Bella’s father replied
“Have you no honor young man, beating a woman,” the woman said
“She’s mine and I will do to her as it pleases me,” he replied and his boys laughed loudly
The woman turned to walk away but he ordered his men to stop her
“You stay and watch how I deal with those that disobey me,” he said and laughed
“Now who would love to see me finish her off before starting with this woman,” he said pointing at the woman
“I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU TRY,” a cold dangerous voice said from the crowd
