I was lucky to see & get an empty cab that moment, I hub in and just asked the driver to follow the cab that the girl entered….. He obeyed and followed the cab immediately……
Well, I don’t understand what’s wrong with me at that point, why I’m I following the girl that just acted weird and insulting to me is what I don’t understand….. But Why I’m I following her is the major question that I don’t have the answer just yet….
The cab finally pulled to a halt and the girl came out and gave the driver some money and then headed towards a direction, then I asked the driver to move a little forward so that I will see properly where the girl is actually headed to…..
Why are you following that girl, hope you don’t intend to hurt her after finding out where she lives?…. That was the voice of the driver… He sounds some how worried and concerned about the way I was desperately following the girl……
Oh, no no… I smiled at him, I don’t want to hurt her or do I look like some one that’s capable of hurting some one? I asked the driver with the confidence that I will get a favourable response because I look quit harmless…. By this time, the girl has stopped somewhere and was charting with two girls about her age….
I took a knee interest and watch her, though from a distance……. Her smiles and the way she makes some moves while talking is very captivating that I even forgot that I was with a driver who needed to go to his other routines…….
Well, the thing is that we don’t know what to trust or believe anymore Pierce the voice of the driver actually interrupting my thoughts….. Then I realized I was actually in a cab and not in my personal car… I turned my attention to the driver….
You know, those that robs banks and other valuable places now dresses in suit and appears like a honourable gentle men with a deceiving looks which actually deceives people to believe that they are noble and responsible people and before you not it, gbagam! They accomplish their purpose and move away….
The man said with a tone that indicates certainty…..
I looked at the driver, his really saying the obvious but I don’t want to engage him with that discussion because that’s not why I’m here right now…. It seems you knows that young girl? I throw the question at him searching his face to know his reactions……..
He looked back at me and replied….. Well only if you are not stalking her to hurt her or for negative purposes…. He signed and continues…. I’m a driver so I knew many people even though they might not really know me….. I have been privileged to carry that young girl most times and have accessed her life without her knowledge…. She’s been throu-gha lot in life together with her sister. They are both good and descent girls that works and Carter for themselves without looking at men or behaving like many girls out here does….. It seems that they have lost their parents… The driver said feeling pity for the poor girl…..
What I just heard him said sent a cold shiver in my entire body, I suddenly felt goose pimples all over me that made me swallow hard..
I need to hear more from this driver about this very girl…

I was touched by the things the driver has said about the girl but I’m not really convinced… How does he know all these facts, is he related to the girl or is he her neighbor? I don’t really get it so I had to ask more questions……
But excuse me, how did you know so much about this girl, and how did you know that her parents are dead already?……. I asked him hoping for answers to my question……
Well, you already know that I’m a taxi driver and we gather information regularly. The girl in question is my regular customer, she often enters my cab while going to work or coming back, some times alone and sometimes with her sister…. She’s works in a hotel and she sometimes attends to me when ever I goes to the hotel for relaxation….. She’s such a wonderful girl, always cheerful, respectful and diligent in her duties…..
I was gulping down every details the man is saying about this very girl like a cup of chilled water and before you know it my mindset about her begins to change gradually, I no longer have that lustful desires about her anymore, I began to see her in another dimension…. Then she smiled and waved goodbye to those she has been chatting with and continue to her destination.. Her smile melted my heart and makes butterflies to start perching in my stomach…….. And was brou-ght out of my thoughts by the driver……
See bros! The reasons why I’m telling you this things is for you not to hurt that poor innocent girl oo! She’s exceptional and doesn’t behave like all this wild girls in this area…. Please let your motives and intentions towards her be of genuine and positive ones,….
But why are you saying so much good things about this girl, you’re talking as if you’re in love with her or something….. I said directly to the driver and he burst into laughter…. When he is done laughing he said….
You’re very correct my brother, I’m in love with the girl but circu-mstances can’t let me go for her….
What! I heard my inner man exclaimed, I felt somehow jealous about hearing that he is in love with her…. I can’t believe that I’m jealous already… Hmmm! This is absurd but I managed to put myself under control…… And calmly asked him…
What do you mean circu-mstances, what kind of circu-mstances will make you to shy away from someone you love and have crush on and you’re dying silently inside?…..
He laughed again… Well bros, the truth of the matter is that I’m married with 2kids already and I love my family so I can’t cheat on my wife.. I like the girl because she’s responsible, beautiful and humble nothing more, he added…..
That was a huge sign of relief on hearing that the young man is married…. I smiled inwardly…. Yah you’re right bros, there’s no dignity in cheating on your spouse…
Is like you are in love with the young girl…. The driver said..
Menh! I never expected him to say that, he said it so direct that it doesn’t pose as a question but just as he is certain about it…… What does he mean? I never acted as if I’m in love with the girl…
Eemm! Not really, just that she looks exactly like some one I have come in contact with some months back that was why I decided to follow her to know If she’s actually the one……. I said defensively,hoping that I convinced him….
Well I hope you are telling the truth but as far as I know, your eyes is saying a different things…. I can see love in your eyes….. He smiled…. I have wasted enough time here, can I get my pay I need to continue my work… He said nonchalantly
Yah sure! But can you take me back to the hotel? I will pay extra even for your time wasted here, i said to him hoping that he agrees….
That’s good, why not… I’m at your service sir he said and brou-ght the engine back to life…. He revised the car and drove back towards the hotel…..
I felt that I have known this dude a long time now…. We got there and I pay him extra money for his time and news, we exchanged contacts and hope to meet again……..
I need to tell my self the truth and sought myself out…. I said and entered my own car and drove home…… **
