Nathan clasped his l@pt©p closed in anger and turned to look at Betty with his angry eyes
“You lied to me, straight to my face” he said calmly at first
“I swear, I didn’t say all that-
“Liar, you’re still lying even after all the evidence are fishes out!” He yelled as she smashed his l@pt©p on the floor, that made Betty flin-ched in fear
“All my love means nothing to you huh? You are after my money, I got pla-yed my a woman again!!!” He yelled as he kept on smashing everything in the living room
Betty got scared with his behavior, she hvgged Cindy ti-ght still crying
“Nathan st©p this madness!” Regina yelled
“What! You think I’m mad, can’t you see all my life is based on betrayal!!!!” He yelled out tears
“I never said all that, believe me, you’re ma-king a mistake” Betty cried but Nathan pla-yed deaf ears
“You can’t trust women this days, you nee-d money right?? Hold up!” He went to his room
“Nathan” Betty ran after him
“Nathan plea-se don’t do this, why can’t you believe me for once Nathan” Betty cried but he was just writing a cheque angrily
“This is $500,000,000 USD, you wanted to leave me for 100 right, well I’m given five times of it, pack your things and leave” he said as he threw the cheque on her face
Betty heart sank with what she just heard. No it’s all a dream, all this are not happening
“Nathan plea-se don’t do this” she cried bitterly and pleaded but Nathan gr@bbÂŁd her harshly by the arm
“Nathan calm down” Charles trued talking to him but he didn’t answer, he dragged Betty down the stairs, ignoring her pleads and her crys
Some maids were following them behind with all Betty’s luggages
“Nathan!” Regina yelled, running after him along with Cindy
“plea-se don’t do this to me Nathan, all this are mistakes trust me I’m innocent” Betty cried to him but still, she was pushed out and all her luggages were thrown to her along with the cheque
“Don’t ever show your face, ever again” Nathan said coldly and then slam the gate at her face
“Nathan open the gate, don’t do this plea-se, don’t leave me, don’t push me away!” She cried and ban-ged on the gate with all her strength
“Nathan plea-se, it’s all a mistake!” She cried and cried
It was alre-ady getting darker and darker, Betty has been there for over thirty minutes still no one
“You thought I was d@t!ngyou for your money right?, All our times together you thought it was a joke right?” She cried bitterly
“I really do love you Nathan, all the times I’ve spent with you was all love but because of one woman you chose to punish me like this then fine” she stood up and cleaned her eyes which more tears were still pouring
“I’ll leave and and you’ll never, never see me again. Good bye Nathan Davis” she said one last time before turning around and leaving
The sound of the lighten could be heard, followed by heavy wind and then the dark sky turning darker and darker
One could tell it would rain heavily anytime but Betty didn’t care, she kept on walking alone, empty handed, she didn’t take her luggages or the cheque cause the pain she’s feeling now money can’t fix quarter of it
Slowly the rain started dripping but Betty didn’t mind, instead she kept on thinking about the goods times they had spent together, her first k!ss, her first night all this just made her cry bitterly
By now the rain was pouring heavily but Betty was still walking un-der it, her b©dy was shaking visibly due to the rain and cold but she didn’t care, she kept on walking and crying
“Why did you do this to me Nathan, it hurts so much” she hits her che-st painfully, she cried and cried still moving, anywhere her legs can carry her
It got to a point she started seeing double, unable to carry herself she fell on her knees, feeling weak, stupid, useless and helpless as the rain dropped on her mercilessly, tears kept streaming down those beautiful eyes
“Just take it alre-ady, just kill me, take my life God plea-se just do it. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh” she screamed with had remaining strength before her b©dy slowly dropped unconscious on the we-t floor

NATHAN MANSION***
“You’re a heartless bastard, you made her leave by this time of the night!!’ Regina yelled but Nathan just sat on the couch and kept mute
“Mom will here about this when she gets back” Regina said and angrily stormed to her room
“I’ll never forgive you for this Nathan,you’re a sicko!” Cindy yelled in anger, she made to leave but Charles gr@bbÂŁd her back
“Where to?”
“My bestie nee-ds me now” Cindy replied
“But it’s raining heavily, it’s dangerous” Charles said
“Ion care, she took care of me when I was ill, she hawked goods un-der the sun just to help me with my hospital bills when I was at the verge of death, she loved me like a sister, she let me sleep and eat un-der her roof even when she has nothing she still feed me, she made me smile and I’m not even her relative!” Cindy yelled in tears
“Cindy we’ll look for her together but not now” Charles pleaded
“You also believe that she pla-yed Nathan right?” Cindy asked, feeling disappointed
“Well we all watched the vedio, we saw her face, it was her, you saw the picture it was her, we heard the voice still hers” Charles said while Cindy shook her head in anger
“Wow just wow, yunno Charles, you’ve been a good and wonderful b©yfriÂŁndlately but I’m afraid I’ll have to chose my best friend over you so, it’s goodbye for us” Cindy said and Charles eyes wi-de-ned
“You’re breaking up with me?” He said in shock
“Sorry but yes and I don’t regret it so goodbye, don’t I mean don’t come looking for me cause you’ll never find me” she said and just like that she left leaving Charles shocked to the core
“Women of nowadays” Xavier shook his head
Nathan then stood up and went to his room, he slumped on the floor immediately
“How could you do this to me Betty, wasn’t my love enough, first Clarie now Betty. I’m done with women, Nathan you’ll never fall in love ever again, if I do heaven plea-se take my life” he swore
His eyes went to hvge portrait of Betty on the wall, he remembered Clarie
“bit-ches” he cursed with teary eyes
“bit-ches!!!” He yelled as he stood up and rushed to the portrait of Betty, he took it and started destroying it to his content
“I hate y’all” he yelled in tears

Cindy kept running outside the rain searching for Betty
“Betty” she yelled in tears
“Betty” she yelled again and kept on running and running till she found someone lying unconscious on the ground
“Betty” she muttered as she moved close to the person and truly it was Betty
She looked lifeless and pale, the rain had soa-ked her really bad, Cindy managed to carry Betty in her arms
“Hang on okay” she said in tears as she started looking for a cab
Thankfully luck shinned on them cause a cab seemed to st©p by
“plea-se any h0tel room, just take us there” Cindy said, she sat and made Betty l@yin her l@ps
She can’t take Betty to the hospital now, people would start to ask question that she can’t answer
Cindy heaved heavily as the cab zoomed off

TAMAYA MANSION (next day)***
“Issa goal” Tamaya smiled while drinking and dancing in her living room
Gwyneth is sitting on the couch and angrily watching TV
“La la la la, my father told me that I’ll be the winner” she sings out loud
“Mom lower your voice, I’m watching TV here” Gwyneth exclaimed in annoyance
“Mom I’m leaving now” Lisa c@mÂŁ out with her luggages carried by a maid
“Bye my baby darling, enjoy you’re vacation with your uncle” Tamaya smiled as she k!$$ÂŁd Lisa forehead
“Lisa can I come with you?” Gwyneth asked
“No you’re staying here with mummy, we have unfinished business remember” Tamaya smiled
“Damn” Gwyneth cursed un-der her breath

Betty slowly opened her eyes and blinked lightly, the first thing her gaze cought was the ceiling and the fan
“Betty” that was Cindy’s voice
“Where are we Cindy?” Betty asked
“A h0tel but don’t worry, I’ll find us a place” Cindy replied, she turned to carry a bowl of water and a neat rag
“Look your b©dy is burning up badly, I don’t want you falling sick okay?” Cindy said almost tearing up
Betty smiled and watched how Cindy cleaned her face with the we-t rag
“Cindy” she called and Cindy looked at her
“Thank you” she added while Cindy just only smiled
“It’s nothing compared to how you’ve helped me, shower up I bought you cloth since you have nothing to wear” Cindy said, she took Betty’s hand and made her stand
“Go now” she said, Betty nodded slowly and went to the bathroom with a towel the h0tel provide

Betty turn on the shower and let it pour on her. “Don’t ever show your face here, ever again”
Nathan harsh words struck her once again like lightening
“You broke me Nathan, you broke me real bad and when you come back begging, I won’t ever forgive you, ever” she cried silently as the shower poured on her

Cindy was sitting in the stool and pla-ying with her f!ngerswhile waiting for Betty to come out, her phone started ringing and she sighed when it was Charles calling, she angrily picked the call
“What do you want!” She yelled
“I’m not here to quarry you, just wanna let you know that if you nee-d anything you can count on me” Charles said from the other end
Cindy li-cked herl-ips and sighed. “I’m fine Charles, you should leave me and you should hate me, I dumped you remember?? Plus ion think I’m coming back to you anytime soon” Cindy said
“I un-derstand, that’s why I’m willing to wait, willing to give you the space you nee-d with your friend, I know Betty nee-ds you but de-ep down you still love me and you’re forcing yourself to be angry at me. Anyways I’m transferring you salary to you whether you like it or not and I’m also willing to help you so feel free to call me” he said and hanged up
Cindy sighed and slowly re-moved her phone from her ear,she was now looking at her phone for a very long while now
“Cindy you dumped Charles, just to be with me?” Betty asked with teary eyes, she was done showering and overhead Cindy’s conversation with Charles on the phone
Cindy rose up immediately and moved closer to Betty, taking her both hands on hers
“You don’t have to feel bad about this or anything, trust me I’m really cool with it”
Betty immediately hvgged Cindy ti-ght and started crying
“You don’t have to suffer with me yunno, it’s my mistake for falling for the wrong person not yours, Charles is a good guy so go back to him” Betty said in amidst tears
“Betty I choose you, I choose to stay and suffer with you, Charles un-derstands okay” Cindy cooed as she stro-ked her hair
“Oh, Cindy” Betty cried, she can see the hurt in Cindy’s eyes and she can hear the crack in Cindy’s voice
“I’ll be fine, okay” Cindy reas-sured with a smile and Betty pu-ll-ed away from the hvg
“I ordered us something, you must be hungry I know you haven’t eaten since morning” Cindy said
“I’m so hungry, you’re right?” Betty let out a weak smile
There was a knock on their door
“I think it’s our food” Cindy said, going to get the door

NATHAN MANSION***
Nathan stepped out of the mansion with Justin, on their way to the garage Nathan’s eyes cought something
“What are those?” He asked, referring to some luggages that looked soa-ked
“Oh, that’s for ma’am Betty, she left without them sir” Justin replied
Nathan eye cought the cheque that was alre-ady badly drenched
“She didn’t even take the money you gave her, I wonder how she would survive” Justin said
Nathan was silent for a while before entering his car, Justin sat beside him and the driver started driving
During the drive, no one talked but Nathan was feeling somehow restless. She didn’t carry her luggages or the cheque, how’s she doing now, where is she cause her phone is also outside, damaged by the rain
Nathan closed his eyes and inhaled ha-rd . Whatever it is then that’s her problem, she caused it herself

JR. INC***
Regina is standing by the coffee machine and ma-king a cu-p for herself
“Aunty” she heard Lisa’s voice, she turned to see Lisa standing with Evan
“Good morning boss” she greeted dully
“Morning Gina, can you make me a cu-p also. I didn’t have any breakfast” Evan requested and Regina nodded
“I’ll stroll around” Lisa win-ked at Evan before jogging off
Evan stared at the small girl in awe before looking at Regina, his eyes wi-den when he saw that the cu-p has overfilled and it was alre-ady dripping on her hands
“Regina” he called and that’s when she c@mÂŁ back to earth
“Ouch my hand” she dropped the cu-p and started jumping
“Clumsy, come here” he took her hand, and dragged her to the office clinic
“My hand hurts, ouch” she winced with teary eyes
“Oh it’s now you’re feeling it” Evan shook his head
The nurse addressed Regina’s hand and is now giving Evan instructions
“Apply this ointment daily so the bruises can clear off” the nurse explained
Evan nodded as he collected the bottle and took Regina’s hand away

“Why did you do that earlier?” He asked when they got to his office and settled down
“Don’t you know you almost damage your skin” he scolded
“I’m sorry it won’t happen again” Regina pouted
“Whatever, sit and tell me why you’re feeling down” he said
Regina sat properly and sniffed. “It’s Nathan, he broke up with Betty” she said sadly
“They. They broke up” Evan looks surprised and Regina nodded
“Your mom said Betty collected money from her to leave Nathan” she added
“My mom?” Evan was once again stupefied
“Yeah your mom, Nathan dragged Betty out harshly and made her leave un-der the rain” Regina said as a tear drop sl!pfrom her eyes
“And you’re crying about that, is Nathan your b©yfriÂŁnd” Evan chuckled
“You’re laughing it’s not funny, I hate you” she stood up and angrily left
Evan smiled and shook his head. “How cute” he murmured

Cindy and Betty alre-ady moved out of the h0tel, they rented a small house that they were both comfortable with, it’s perfect to relax
“And done” Cindy carried the remaining carton inside the living room
“Thanks Cindy but you don’t have to use your salary to do all this” Betty said
“It’s nothing how many times will I tell you” Cindy smiled and Betty pouted
“Don’t make that face, come help me arrange all this” Cindy said and Betty nodded
They both arranged all the appliances in the house and it looked good in the eye
“Urgh I’m so tired” Betty exclaimed as she fell on the couch
“Lazy” Cindy scoffed
“Earlier I bought a small shop, I’m thinking maybe we should start selling delicious pastries so we can make little money for ourselves and-
Cindy paused when she saw Betty fast as sleep alre-ady
“Like seriously?? I’m I boring you?” She shook her head while standing akimbo
