Betty woke up when a strong smell hit her nose
“Hmm what’s that” she muttered as she stood up from the be-d, ru-bbing her eyes she went to the kitchen and met Cindy in an apron with flour stained all over her bĀ©dy
“Cindy what are you ma-king?” Betty asked
“Oh, hi I thought you’ll use the whole day to sleep” Cindy said with an eye roll
“I’m sorry, what are you ma-king and let me help” Betty said as she opened the pots
“I was telling you about us opening a small shop for pastries but you sle-pt off” Cindy said
“Oh” Betty mouthed
“So try this donut and tell me how it taste” Cindy handed Betty a donut
Betty took a bite, she took another bite again and frowned
” It’s tasteless I think the world has run out of sugar cause everything are tasteless, give me another one” she said, Cindy bit herl-ips and gave Betty bre-ad
” Try this also” Betty took a bit everything taste bad try adding more Sweetness” she said Cindy bit herl-ips and looked down
” I don’t know I was bad in ma-king all these, I’ll make another set” she turned to leave but Betty gr@bbĀ£d her back
” I’m sorry I didn’t mean to say all that, I just, sorry I was venting all my anger out on you, I don’t think I have appetite to eat anything” Betty said walking to her room.
Cindy sighed as she watched Betty leave, she tried the donut
” It’s tasty but still lemme add sugar” she thought as she went to carry the plate of sugar and added

CRYSTAL COLLEGE*****
Evelyn and Freddy are studying together in the libr@ry
“Okay so what did you get in your number 5?” Freddy asked while Evelyn scratched her temples
” You still don’t get it??” he asked
” What I’m not a math freek like you” Evelyn pouted while Freddy just smiled
” Come here baby” he made her sit in his l@ps
” Your head is h0t that’s why you aren’t getting the answer, I think you nee-d ice cream” he said
” Ice cream?” she repeated
” Yeah trust me come on” he gr@bbĀ£d her hands
” We’ve been studying for hours that’s why your br@in can’t process anything anymore, let’s go chill” he said dragging her to the cafeteria
” A large strawberry ice cream with large strawberry on tĀ©p for two” Freddy said
” And don’t forget to add tĀ©ppings on tĀ©p” Evelyn added and the woman just smiled and started preparing their orders
” Here you go enjoy” the woman handed them the ice cream
” Freddy are you sure we can finish this” Evelyn asked
” Sure we can gr-ab your spoon and let’s start” he said as they both settled down
” Hmm I can feel my br@in cooling down” Evelyn smiled while eating on her icecream
” I know right” Freddy smiled watching her
” Why aren’t you eating” Evelyn asked
” I’m full just watching you eat” he said
” Okay then, I’ll go eat this somewhere else” Evelyn said standing up
” Why” Freddy asked smiling
” Cause you are looking at me like a miniac” she replied
” Okay let me take one spoon first” Freddy took his spoon and stood up too
” What I thought you were full” Evelyn said
” No I’m not”
You are, and you are not eating this with me” Evelyn pouted and then ran off with the ice cream
” Haven’t you heard about sharing?” Freddy asked as he ran after her. Their laughter could be heard everywhere in the cafeteria

TAMAYA MANSION**
It’s been two weeks since Nathan and Betty broke up, Tamaya had plans that Gywenth work at star entertainment and Nathan PA, she would sĀ£dƻƧĀ£him, she would make Nathan start falling for her slowly and before anyone know it, Nathan would fall madly in love with her, they would get married and 50% shares of star entertainment would belong to their family
That was Tamaya plan, she wants Nathan for her daughter at all cost, she doesn’t care how even if it means sacrificing her daughter’s pride as a woman she does care
Right now she’s helping Gwyneth to style her hair. “There, smile my dear, you look good I’m sure Nathan won’t resist this beauty” Tamaya said with a satisfied smile
Gwyneth f0rƧĀ£d a smile on her face. “Happy now?” She asked
“Yeah good luck baby and don’t b!ow this up” Tamaya said
“Fine mother, I know how to sĀ£dƻƧĀ£a guy” Gwyneth said as she carried her bag
“Okay go, and why is your bag to big?” Tamaya asked
“Nothing, it’s my stuff bye mum” she k!$$Ā£d her mom cheek and left

Gwyneth took a cab to star entertainment
“Do this do that, tsk!” She scoffed when she got down from the car and opened the door to star entertainment harshly
“Who are you?” The guards asked
“I’m here to apply for a job sir, thanks” without waiting she walked past them and entered
“Where is that Nathan, come let me sĀ£dƻƧĀ£you” she cursed, she wasn’t watching were she was going and mistakenly bu-mped into someone
“You again, what are you doing here?” Xavier asked angrily
“And who are you to question me, crocodile” she fired back at him
Xavier rolled his eyes and walked out while she was ma-king faces at him from behind
“Gwyneth” someone tapped her, she turned to see Charles
“Oh hi” she smiled
“What are you doing here?” He asked
“Well, where’s Nathan I’m here for the job interview” she said
“Not sure who told you that but he’s office is over there, by the way what did you put in your bag, it’s pretty big?” Charles asked
“Oh, this is nothing it’s just stuffs I nee-d” she replied
“Stuffs you nee-d like?” He asked
“If you think I’m hiding something well I’m not, I’ll show you” she said, she stared scattering her bag on the floor
“Hey no no- Charles paused when he saw her brou-ght out a hvge teddy bear and a blanket
“Incase I’m tired, I can’t sleep without it” she said, showing him
Charles put his hands on his mouth so he won’t laugh
“And who told you there would be slee-ping hour?” He asked with his hands folded on his che-st
“Is there not?” She asked back and Charles slowly shook his head
“I knew it, I knew you were dumb” Xavier appeared from behind with his hand at his pocket
“Okay why is this boy working here?” She asked Charles, totally ignoring Xavier’s presĀ£nce
“I’m a man, I’m p@rt of the boss here and I can fire you right now” Xavier replied
“No you can’t” Charles pipped in
“I know but Nathan would, he hate irritating girls” Xavier said
Gwyneth smiled and moved closer to him, she then stepped on his foot
“Ouch” he winced
“Who’s irritating now?” She asked and jogged off
“Who are you leaving this teddy here for!” Xavier yelled
“Throw it away” she yelled too but her voice was far far away
Charles smiled and looked at Xavier
“What! Get out” Xavier pushed him off and limped to his office

Gwyneth knocked on Nathan’s door
“Come in” he said from inside, she stepped in and sat down opposite him
“Did I ask you to sit?” He said flatly
“Won’t I sit anyways?” She asked back
“Ion want you to sit, stand up” he ordered and she stood up glaring at him
“Why are you here Gwyneth, you better go to your brother company and pla-y” Nathan said harshly
“Geez I wanna work as your PA” she said
“Who told you I nee-d a PA?” Nathan said with twitchedl-ips
“But Betty-
“I have Luke with me, get lost” he cut her off
“What do I tell my mom now?” Gwyneth thought
“Didn’t I ask you to leave” Nathan voice rang again
“plea-se just give me anything” she pleaded
“So you can beg, if you wanna work for someone else you’re free as for me I’m cool” Nathan said
“Well who then?” She asked
“Luke” Nathan called and Luke entered
“Take her to Xavier office, that boy nee-ds someone to as-sist him” he instructed
“Well I’ll just lie my mom either aways” Gwyneth thought as she followed Luke
“Here’s Xavier office, he’s to grumpy plea-se don’t anger him too much” Luke said as he left
“Whatever” she rolled her eyes and opened the door
“How dare you not knock, get the fvĀ¢k back outside and knock the door you br@t” Xavier rolled
“Geez stĀ©p barking I’m going okay, it’s knock you want right?” She muttered as she went out and knocked the door with her both hands
“Can I come in now or is this not enough!” She yelled

“Fine come in” Xavier hissed and Gwyneth opened the door and entered
“Who called you here?” He asked
“Nathan” she answered
“Well ion want you so you’re fired” he said
“You can’t do that” she laughed
“I can and I’m doing it now” he said nonchalantly
“Nathan said I should come here and work so there’s nothing you can do about it” she dared
“Daring me huh? So at the count of three you’ll leave my office” he said, crossing his legs on the table
“One”
“Make me” she crossed her arm
“Two”
“You serious??”
“Three” he stood up and she fell on her knees immediately
“plea-se don’t kick me out, just help me out this once” she pleaded
Xavier looked down at her and sm-irked
“You seem so desperate to work here” he said
“My hands are tied I’m in nee-d of money badly, plea-se help me out” she said softly as she blinked her eyes repeatedly
“Okay what are you doing with your eyes?” He asked
“It’s called wi-nking, don’t you know anything” she scoffed
“Out” he said
“Oh plea-se” she started bowing
Xavier laughed ha-rd , holding his stomach even
“Laugh all you want jĀ£rk” she scoffed inside her head
“Fine the you’re hired, if you fvĀ¢k up or annoy me it’s” he used his hands to slash his nĀ£Ā¢k as though it was an imaginary knife
Gwyneth nodded brightly
“Run on, come tomorrow” he said and she ran off, her screams and jumps could be seen and heard

CITTY’S PASTRIES***
The name Citty was formed by the mixture of Betty and Cindy’s name, that was their pastry shop they opened about two weeks ago and surprisingly it has been booming well
Right now Cindy was attending to customers while Betty was busy ma-king another set of muffins
“Betty can you make it snappy, the chairs are full and the line’s becoming crowdy” Cindy said, handing some donuts to some people
Betty c@mĀ£ out with rolls of muffins. “Here,it’s not that easy to make so go make I’ll sell” she said and Cindy nodded
“Can I have two large bre-ad plea-se?” a familiar male voice asked
Betty immediately raised her head to see someone she’s not re-ady to face. Adam.
She wore her gloves and took two large bre-ad after packaging it neatly she handed it to him but he kept looking at her
“Are you gonna take it or what?” Betty snapped
“Those times I’ll tell you come with me but because you were d@t!nga rich guy, you shunned me off now look how he dumped you, his company is blooming but you’re here selling bre-ad and becoming lean” he said in mockery voice
Betty stared at him in anger, she was trying her best not to cry
“Get out, if you won’t bye this” she said sternly
“Oh I’m gonna bye it” Adam smiled, he collected the bre-ad and payed the money, still standing there, he opened one of the bre-ad and tasted it
“To salty, did you perhaps use your tears to make this?” He asked and kept on eating on it
“Get out if here Adam” Betty said with the remaining patience she has left with her
“Why it’s my money I have all the right to-
Before he could finish a pan landed on his head
“Didn’t I say leave! I’m gonna kill you” Betty roared and gr@bbĀ£d his collar, she stared beating him, not enough she dragged to the kitchen and di-pped his head into a pan of flour
“Betty” Cindy yelled as she rushed to separate them
Adam is p@n-ting heavily
“What are y’all looking at, eat and go” Cindy said to the customers, they immediately faced their food, murmuring something among themselves
“Adam get the fvĀ¢k outta here, this is small talk ru-bbish and I’ll beat you myself next time, now leave” Cindy said as she pushed him out
“Betty you-
“I’m fine” Betty cut Cindy off while washing her hands
Cindy sighed. “We’ll soon be rounding off, it’s getting dark” she said and Betty nodded as she went back to the kitchen
Soon the customers started leaving one by one till the whole tables were empty
“Betty come on let’s pack up and go home” Cindy said, Betty nodded and they both packed up and locked

They boarded a cab to their house, Betty was silent throu-ghout when they got home
“Come on cheer up” Cindy pouted
“Cindy I’m tired” Betty frowned
“Don’t listen to that loser, didn’t we agree to forget about Nathan” Cindy said
“I know Cindy but it’s not easy, everytime I see people that reminds me of him, I see couples and I remember our old times and just look Adam is right, he left in peace and left me in pieces” Betty said sadly
“I know but with time you’ll forget about this, I know it’s ha-rd but endure” Cindy said
“I un-derstand, I just-
She suddenly blocked her mouth and ran to the restroom
“Betty” Cindy ran after her, she met Betty vomiting her guts out in the WC toilet, after throwing up for over thirty minutes, Betty washed her face with water
“Are you okay?” Cindy asked worriedly
“I’m fine, it’s just a little fever but don’t worry I’ll take drugs” she said
“Are you sure we shouldn’t go to the hospital?” Cindy said worriedly
“Come on it’s nothing, tell me what we are having for dinner, I’m hungry” Betty changed the tĀ©pic as she was going to the kitchen
“I’ll make you a lot of things cause you’re getting skinny these days” Cindy said as she followed her to the kitchen

NATHAN’S MANSION**
Nathan just had a silent dinner with Regina after that, Regina went to l@yon the couch and was chatting with Evan, those two seems to be getting closer these days
Nathan on the other hand went to his room, he showered and changed to his slee-ping cloth, everywhere feels boring without Betty
He l@ydown c@rĀ£ss!ngher p@rt of the be-d, he suddenly remembered how they would cudd-leeach0ther and sometimes make love
Tears c@mĀ£ out of his eyes. “I don’t know why I act to be strong and cold outside but the truth is I’m weak, I’m nothing without you Betty, I miss you so much, that’s the bitter truth I’m admitting to myself”
“I don’t know why you suddenly decide to do this to me, why did you break my heart” he said softly, c@rĀ£ss!ngher pillow
“In anyways I hope you’re fine wherever you are now and I hope you learn from your mistake” he said to nothing in p@rticular
He then took her pillow and sniffed it. “It still Smells like you” he smiled weakly, before unknowingly drifting off to sleep

Cindy had alre-ady sle-pt but Betty was still wi-de awake, she was looking at the ring in her f!nger with tears
She re-moved it and made to throw it but couldn’t bring herself to do so, she looked at the ring with so much hatred
“It hurts so much” she cried in a whisper as she held her che-st ti-ght
The way Nathan kicked her out if his mansion kept pla-ying in her head over and over again
“Look what you’ve cursed, look how I was humiliated today all because of you, I hope you’re happy now” she cried
She looked at the ring and covered it ti-ghtly with her palm, I hate you Nathan, I hate you” she cried so much that she didn’t know when sleep carried her off
