FINALE.
Candy rolled on the bed with smiles plastered all over her face.
Still with her eyes shut, she traced the bed with her hands which only careless the soft bed.
No sighs of a figure beside her. Immediately she snaps her eyes open. She rotates her eyeballs around the room and couldn’t find Danny’s shadow.
“Where the fuck is he?!” She wrinkle her brows.
“Perhaps…” She leaped up for the bed and ran out of her messy room.
“Da_” she stopped when she perceive the aroma of food from the kitchen.
She went to the kitchen and stood by the doorstep. Crossed her arms across her chest and smiling looking at the guy cooking in her messy kitchen.
In a swift, she ran to him wrapping her arms around him behind rapturously. She grinned like a loon.
“Danny!” She enthused.
“You’re awake” he smiles not turning to look at her.
“Danny…” She called again.
“Uh?”
“Danny…” She called yet again and this time he swivels on a heel to look at her.
“Yes sweet”
Candy stood on her toe giving him a quick peck on his lips. She giggles.
Danny smiles and lean towards her resting his forehead on hers.
She continue grinning.
“Go brush your teeth Candy it’s stinks” he taunted while Candy grinned back.
“Fuck you!” She gave him a slight punch dis engaging from his embrace.
She walks towards the door while Danny snicker facing his cooking. Candy stopped at the door step and smirk. She ran back to him wrapping her arms around him from behind again this time more tightly and firmly.
Danny sighs.
“Danny Danny Danny Danny….” She called simultaneously chuckling.

“You can’t get rid of me…never never never never!” Danny sighs giving up and continue cooking Candy glued to him.
“Candy just a moment…” He wiggles out of her hold and walks towards the counter that was when Candy’s eyes caught her bra hanging just at the foot of the counter.
“Oh no…please God…wait!” She called abruptly and ran to him standing at his front blocking his view.

He carried her and head to the room.

“I’ll be waiting for you…have a heathly bath” he winked and close the door.

By the time Candy finished bathing Danny had already finished cooking and had set up the table.
“Wow…is these all cooked by you?”

“For me…?” She chuckles. She picked up her fork and put the yam in her mouth.

“Eat it all after this we have a mission to accomplish”

“Huh…a misson to clear and clean this pigsty like house up…” Danny smiles and Candy looked around her messy house.

Just about before they could start the housework, Candy received a cal from kings to meet him and she didn’t hesitate use the opportunity to escape.
She breathe in one more time before entering kings’ office.
“Kings” she called and kings stood up.
“Candy? You’re here” he smiles while Candy return the smile.
Some minutes later.
“Candy i_”
“I like Danny…I..found out I do…recently” she interrupted Kings.
“What?” He asked surprised.
“It’s turned out like that…I’m sorry Kings” she answered slowly and Kings became speechless.

“What later happened to Mr Johnson?” Little Dinah asked rubbing her tired eyes.
“Mr Johnson…well let’s say…he continued living his life…like nothing ever happened”
“But he should be punished…since he was a bad man”
“Yes you’re right and I’m sure…he will indeed be punished…sooner or later”

“Who knows…it might be better to stop there for now I think”
Dinah yawns stretching her arms.
“That was such a long boring story…I wanna have a kip now”

Carly looks at her smiling.
“Now I think it’s time to make another story…let’s go to the bedroom…wifey” he smirks standing up
“I’m not sure about the story…but you can go ahead I’m gonna stay for a while” Carly replied.
“You should know by now..I don’t take no for an answer” he swept her off her feet and Carly gasped silently.
“Let’s go…Olive’s heartbeat” he smiles taking her out of the room.

Lately when everyone was busy dating Ivy just keep herself busy with work.
She has received many advise to consider dating but she remained defiant. Clark even tried to set her up on a blind date but ivy ended up talking about busy with the guy.
Most guys finds her charming but boring.
All she cares about is work and Mercury do use that to taunt her sometimes calling her the workaholic queen.
“Yes…yes no problem…you can trust us…I said you can…no that’s not true…you have to sigh with us…it’s just a minor setback…why don’t you let us meet first? I’m sure you wouldn’t regret it…I told you it’s just a rumor!…hello…hello…hel_ shit!” She dropped her phone frustrated rubbing her forehead in exasperation before continuing working on her computer.

Her phone rang.
“Hello Ivy Maxwell on the line”
“But this is Miss workaholic Queen’s line” a voice came at the other end and Ivy sighs.
“I’m hanging up”
“Give it a rest young lady…you’re gonna die if you continue living this way…even your boss isn’t killing himself like this” Mercury said from the other side.
“If you have nothing to say then I’m hanging up…I have work to do”

“Hey workaholic queen just a little advice from someone who cares for you…try to give birth at least one so you’ll have someone to bear your name when you die…you don’t have to get married a one night stand will_” Ivy end the call interrupting her.

Another call came in.
“Mercury I swear if you don’t back off I’m gonna skin you alive when I got hold of_”.
“Ivy…it’s me…Leo” the voice at the other end interrupted her.
She quickly check her phone.
“Oh fuck! Hi Leo…what can I do for you?”
“Umm…I was wondering…do you wanna have a drink later?” His voice came slow and Ivy kept mute for seconds.
“Ivy? Are you still there?”
“No! I don’t!” She replied and end the call without letting him say a word.
Ivy sighs and rested her back on the chair.

LATER AT NIGHT.
“Hey cutie” Candy grins rushing to Kings side.
“Hi there sweet candy” Kings smiles
“Why would you call her that when you aren’t her boyfriend?” Danny said stepping in.
“Then what should I call her? What should I call you sweetie?” Kings faced Candy.
“You could call her cat or whatever” Mia said also stepping in.
“Am I sort of an animal?! Cutie I love it when you call me sweet candy” Candy grins at him while Kings tweaked her nose.
“Don’t you think you’re being too flirty with another guy when your fiance is here” Danny frowns.
“Since dear fiance is misbehaving Kings what should I do?”
“Look for an alternative of course” Kings replied sharply.
“And who’s the best candidate for the alternative?”
“Me your cutie” Kings winked and Mia butt in slapping Kings on his shoulder.
“Oww…!” He wince rubbing it.
“Why is my boyfriend your alternative?!” She said curtly
“Oh my…boyfriend? I thought you said you can never date him since he isn’t your type” Candy questioned.
“Shut up and get lost” Mia pushed her away from Kings.
“You don’t push my fiancee like that” Danny frowns.
“Why don’t you keep your fiancee in place then?!” Mia glared back.
“You people should stop your drama already!” Mercury said coming in.
“You! Why are you here?” Mia queried.
“You must be forgetting something but this is Clark’s house and he is my boyfriend for the past four years now and I’ve been coming here for the past four years and everyone here knows that” Mercury answered.
“Whatever…Kings let’s go” Mia linked hands with Kings and leaves with him.
“Hey you can’t go what about the ritual?!” Candy ran after them.
“Hey candy!” Danny followed suit.
“What the heck!” Mercury stood in akimbo.
AT THE CLUB.
Leo Sat at the bar drinking alone.
It’s seems Ivy isn’t gonna show up after all.
Actually for the past four years he hasn’t been able to get over that night they had together but it seems Ivy had moved on from it.
But it’s strange ever since that night he hasn’t been himself.
It was like everything he felt for Mercury transferred to her as he wouldn’t stop thinking about her.
He has been trying to be at least friends with her but Ivy seems to always stay aloof.
So tonight he decided to make It clear to know where he stands with her but now…she isn’t coming.
He drained up the last glass and stood up taking his belongings. He went out the club and tries to open the door to the car but he vision is blurred that he couldn’t get it right.
“Shit!” He cussed as he tries to open it but the keys fell. He grumbles and crouch to pick the car keys up that’s when he saw a heels in front of him.
“Don’t you think you’re leaving early for someone who invited me for a drink? Or…did I take too long?” She looks at her wrist watch whilst Leo looks up to her.
“Ivy?” He called surprised.
“You look wasted Leo…let’s get you home” she smiles while Leo’s face dissolves in a big smile also
