AT THE HOSPITAL ????
“Time to go home beauty”
“Danny?”
“Are you ready?”
“Huh?” She nods her head.
Actually she’s quite nervous.
Ever since the incident her father haven’t come to visit her or even calls her.
She has been thinking on how it’d be if she goes back home.
And finally the day is here.
She’s going home.
MINUTES LATER.
“Are you okay?” Danny looks at her as she rubs her palm together nervously.
She nods smiling.
“Okay…hold on tight!” He increased the speed and Carly held unto her seat belt..
“Drive slowly Danny I’m still a patient…I don’t wanna go back to the hospital!”
“Don’t worry babe…just hold on tightly!”
MINUTES LATER.
“Where is this?” Carly asked looking around the mansion she was brought to.
Danny smiles.
“Let’s go in..the guys are waiting”
“WELCOME BACK CARLY!” they all shouted the moment she stepped into the house.
“Guys…?”
“Carly…how was your trip? Welcome back home”Mercury grins.
” Home?” She asked in disbelief.
“From now on…you’ll stay here…?” Leo said.
“You don’t actually expect us to let you go back to that monster’s house…the fact that he isn’t in prison yet still annoys me” Mercury said.
“But…?”
“Don’t worry about anything…this is one of Danny’s properties no one is occupying it…it’s closer to the school and his parents also approved if it” Mercury assured and Carly felt relief.
“Thanks a lot Mercury” she hugs him.
“You’re welcome darling” she pats her back.
“Thanks Leo…?” She hugs him and he nodded.
“Thank you so much Danny” she hugs him too.
“Always welcome babe”
“Thanks Olive” she hugs him and he stays quiet.
“But where’s Clark?”
“He’ll join us later…he has somewhere to go with his mother…he promise to come soon” Danny said and Carly nodded.
“I really appreciate all these Danny…really”
“Are you really grateful?”
“Huh” she nodded.
“And you really wanna pay it back?”
“I wish to…really”
“If you’re that grateful then…give me a kiss”
“A kiss?”
“Nonsense…Carly just ignore him” Mercury said
“But she wants to express her appreciation…just give me a peck on the lips that way I’ll feel your sincere feelings”
“Just a peck?”
“Huh?” He nodded.
And she smiles.
She went closer and stood on her toes.
“Let’s find something to eat…I’m hungry” Olive and Leo pulled Danny away making Carly withdraw.
“What the hell man”
“Shut up” Leo said dragging him to the kitchen.
“you own me a kiss Carly…don’t forget that…?”
Carly and Mercury chuckles.
“Were you really gonna kiss him?” Mercury asked.
“I was gonna blow some air into his nostrils”
“That’ll be fun” they both giggles.
SOME HOURS LATER.
“Every one thought I was actually gay…imagine a handsome dude like me”
“Yeah that’s what you got for not dating?” Leo said with a mouthful of chips.
“You guys don’t understand…I haven’t a girl worthy of me then”
“Then you’ve found a girl worthy of you now?” Kings said standing at the door post.
“Kings!” Carly stood up running to him.
“Hi there Carly”
“Oh come on are you still angry at me?”
“Well…just a little maybe”
She grins.
“Is that for me?” She collected the bag from him.
“It’s chocolates…love you K” she kissed his cheek and went back to sit with Mercury.
“You got nothing for me?” Mercury said.
“I’ve got you my heart” he winks.
“Keep your fucking heart to yourself”
“Alright…thank you…what’re you guys doing?” Kings asked sitting beside Olive.
“Danny was telling us about the most terrifying moment of his life” Mercury replied.
“Oh I think I heard something about him being a gay?” Kings said.
“And guess what…I think you’re kinda cute” Danny said to him.
“Get your gayish eyes off me pervert” kings said making everyone laughs.
“So Dan who’s the girl worthy of you?” Carly asked.
“You of course”
“You’re really a pervert” kings grimace.
“It was Mercury who captured my heart first…I really find her cool and different when she dealt with Clark then…but later when you gave me that kiss I just grins more fond of you” he said.
“You two kissed?!” Mercury and kings said together and Leo looks at her questioning.
“Ermm…don’t look at me like that guys…it wasn’t that sort of kiss…?” She defend.
“Then what kind of kiss is it?” Mercury asked
“She said she was doing some experimenting then…it was after the camp…something must have happened then”Danny said and Olive looks at Carly.
Her gaze met with Olive and she looks away immediately clearing her throat.
“Stop talking about that already…is there nothing fun to do?” She said quickly.
“Should we play T or D?” Danny grins.
“Let’s dance…Carly I wanba see you dance I didn’t get to see it at the camp” kings said.
“Yeah I think that’ll be fun…dance for us Carly” Mercury chipped in.
“You’re asking a patient to dance…she just got released…don’t mind them Carly you should rest for now” Leo said
“Ohhh what’s going on here…what am I missing?” Mercury looks at them.
“You’re missing nothing…instead of her dancing why don’t you dance for us instead?” Leo replied.
“Should I?” She grins standing up.
“But Mercury won’t your parents get angry? It’s getting quite late”
“I’m staying overnight…I actually lied to them I’m staying over a friend house…you and since I’ve done that before they didn’t care”
“Ahh…what about you guys?”
“Don’t worry about us…we’ve got it sorted out”
“Okay…enough chit chatting…DJ Kings…up to your task”
“On it” kings stood up and and goes through some songs on his phone.
“I want a crazy music”
“Wait for it” he connects his phone to the speaker and plays the music.
“Yeah! I love that!” Mercury shouted as she moves her body to the music and sang along.
Carly wouldn’t stop laughing as she and kings dance in a funny manner.
Kings took Carly to join them while Mercury took Leo and Danny joins them also leaving only Olive who sat watching them but Mercury and Leo forced him to join them.
“Hoo! Let’s go crazy!” She shouted shaking her head.
“Crazy!!” Carly also shouted moving her body crazily to the music.
They all sang and dance along to the music.
LATER AT NIGHT.
The house was awfully silent.
The only sound that can be heard is Danny’s snoring.
Clark entered the house to meet them all sleeping.
The house was in a total mess
“The heck!” He exclaimed looking at them.
Seems like he missed a lot.
He couldn’t be there earlier cause he had to follow his mother to meet some shareholders.
Lately she has been introducing him to some people and have been engaging him in the business.
He has no interest in it but have no choice either.
He just wanna enjoy his high school life together with his friends but it seems that isn’t left for him to decide.
He sighs looking at his so called friends.
Carly was sitted in the couch sleeping.
Her head on Leo’s shoulder while Kings lay his head on Leo’s laps as well.
Danny was on the floor with his head on Mercury’s lap.
Mercury rested her head on Olive’s shoulder also.
He walks around the place…foods on the floor…Carly, Leo and Kings even had some drawings in their faces.
He took the phone he saw on the table and saw different pictures they took.
He really missed a lot.
He sighs.
He moves closer to Mercury and taps her lightly.
She opens her eyes lazily.
“What…?” She said rubbing her eyes.
“Mercury…wake up..?” Clark whispers.
“Um…Clark?”
“Shhh!…come…?” He placed Danny’s head on the couch slowly and held Mercury out of the house making sure not to wake others up.
“You guys sure had a lot of fun in my absence…?” He said as they walk along the house.
“Sure…?” She yawns.
“Are you still feeling sleepy?”
“Can I go back to sleep?”
“Of course not…come I know what to wake you up” he held her hand taking her somewhere.
Clark Sat at the edge of the swimming pool dipping his legs inside.
“Sit”
“I don’t want to…it’ll be cold”
“Sit already”
Mercury dips her leg in the water a little.
“I said it…it’s cold” she hugs herself sitting on the edge of the swimming pool also and she dips both her legs in it.
“Owww…?”
“Stop overreacting…?”
“I’m not…?”
They went silent.
“You won’t even asked how my day was?” Clark said after a moment of silence.
“Oh my…it’s not like we’ve got married…what’s with that seriously…?”
“I think mother is trying to take me into business”
“Good for you…you should have expected it being the only heir”
“Right…I didn’t knew it’d come this soon…?”
“When were you expecting it?”
“Maybe my last year in college..?”
“Well…the sooner the better…cheer up” she pats his shoulder.
“What did you guys do today?”
“All sorts of things…today was fun”
“It’s a pity I wasn’t there…you guys must have felt my absence”
“We didn’t even notice you weren’t there…?”
“Wow…I’m hurt”
She chuckles.
He smiles.
“Hey wanna take a swim?”
“Are you crazy? I don’t wanna catch a cold” she said and he grins taking off his shirt.
“Are you serious?”
“Watch me” he threw his shirt beside her and went in the water.
“He must be the cold as he claimed”
He splash water on her.
“Stop that”
“What are you thinking? Me?”
“As if…?”
He chuckles.
“You seem to be in a food mood tonight”
“Do I…?” He replied itching his hair.
“Maybe…?” He said again going into the water.
Moments later Mercury felt something tickling her feet.
“Hey Clark stop that” he tries kicking him off but Clark got hold of her leg.
“I think I’ll just go back inside” she said but Clark came out the surface suddenly standing right in front of her.
“You’re not allowed to do that” he frowns.
“Oh yes I am…?”
“I won’t let you” he placed his hands on both sides moving more closer.
“But I can let you if you have a swim with me”
“There’s no way I’m doing that”
“There’s no way I’m letting you go also”
“Clark”
“Mercury”
“Swim with me” he stretched his hand forward.
Mercury looks at his hand to him and sighs.
“Fine” she took his hand and Clark grins putting her in the water.
“How’s it?”
“Cold”
“Wait a minute” he went to his shirt and brought out his phone then played a song.
“What are you doing?”
“Having a romantic time with my fiancee”
“Are you sick?” She asked but he smiles moving closer to her.
He held her hand as he moves his body slowly in the water.
“You want me to dance in the water?” She asked and he nodded.
“Something is definitely wrong…?” She mutters to herself.
Clark spins her around in the water.
The music played slowly.
Seems he really wanna have a dance.
Reluctantly,Mercury place her hands on his shoulders.
His hands wrapped her waist with his gaze fixed on hers.
She looks away.
The dance went on.
The song continues playing.
He smiles at her.
“Why are you smiling?”
“Isn’t it strange? We used to be at loggerheads”
“Yeah if anyone told me I’ll dancing in the water with you late in the night I would probably smack him really hard on the head”
“What has probably gone wrong?”
“Nothing went wrong…it’s just fate…accept it”
The music stopped.
Mercury breathes out.
“Finally…?”
She made to withdraw but Clark won’t leave her.
She looks at him.
His eyes was filled with a different expression.
It was weird.
She got lost in it.
She didn’t realize they were moving until her back touched the wall.
She came to her senses.
“Clark…?” She called almost in a whisper.
“Umm…?” He hummed leaning closer.
“The music….stopped…?”
“Has it? He asked also almost in a whisper as their faces was just inches apart.
“It has…?” She replied clenching her fists together her hands still on both his shoulders.
“Okay…?” He said and with that he closed the gap between them.
Her fists unclench immediately her eyes shut close and he pulled her closer to him by her waist as his lips did wonders on hers.
Seconds later he unlock as they catch their breathes.
Immediately they’re done doing that Clark carried her on the edge of the water, stays between her legs and crashed his lips on hers again.
She reciprocated wrapping her hands around his neck.
