Austen k!$$ÂŁd her gently and Nikita’s shock left her within a short time, she tugged at his shi-t effortlessly and k!$$ÂŁd him back
Surprised that she responded, Austen let his thumb ca-ress her face and he ha-rd ened the k!ssimmediately.
He bit down on her l!pgently and they path ways for his ton-gue, he sli-pped it in and a sharp g@sp erupted from herl-ips instantly, he made sure to have a de-ep taste of her before breaking it.
He stared at her and k!$$ÂŁd her nose gently
“Nik” he called gently and she kept staring with her white eyeba-lls
He sighed and hvgged her ti-ghtly to himself
“Austen” she whispered
“Hmm” he replied, smiling slowly
“Will you…. always protect me?” She asked and he broke the hvg to hold her face
“I can never let any scratch appear on you Nik, so far I’m still Austen the son of Das, I swear that I’ll….
“I never said you should swear” she interrupted
“Still…. I’ll protect you with everything I have Nik, I promise” he replied and she scooted closer to him
“Just that…I feel really safe with you” she said slowly and he smiled
” You don’t have to be scared…. you… Eddy and BB… I’ll protect all of you guys, I’ll do” he said and she smiled
She disÂŁngaged from him and shifted away before covering herself well..
“Goodnight boss” she said
“Goodnight Nik” he replied, watching her till she fell asleep
He went closer and t©uçhed her face c@r£ss!ngly, tracing her brows with his thumb.
“I love you” he whispered and k!$$ÂŁd her forehead.

Texas…an hospital**
BB drove r0ûghly into the hospital, almost breaking the legs of the people at the park in the process

She c@mÂŁ out of the car hurriedly and without minding the people that are complaining, she opened the car door and carried Drew out in her arms
“Does he even eat?, How lightweighted” she said, rushing in with him, she wore his mask for him though, not re-ady to face the has-sles of his fans.
He took him into the first available ward and two doctors joined her immediately
His mask was re-moved and the doctors g@sped
“Drew Kaz?”
“So what?, I’m not here to know his name I’m here to get him treated, he’s unconscious do something!” She yelled and the doctors flin-ched
The started attending to him immediately while she paced around
“I must have been crazy, why did I not throw him into the lagoon like I thought?” She wondered, looking at her hands
” I actually carried him?, Gosh I nee-d to wash my hands” she said and made to leave but was st©pped by the doctors
“It’s slight fever, he’ll be ok he just nee-ds to rest overnight”
” Slight fever?, Whoa!, Just like me” she whispered and frowned at unconscious Drew on the be-d
” So…. he’ll have to stay overnight?” She asked
” Of course” the doctor replied
” Is it compulsory I stay?”
” Of course, someone has to watch over him besides the doctors” the doctor replied
” Oh no,.” She said, stumping her foot on the ground
He went out and checked the car, his phone is in there.
“Oh cool, I should call anyone on his contact list, I can’t possibly stay” she smiled and pressed it on but the pas-sword….
” F*xk!, I don’t know his pas-sword!” She gro-an ed and almost smashed his phone but it rang, a call from Theodore
She smiled and picked almost immediately
“Listen Drew is at….
That got interrupted by a sound coming from the phone
*Is that the sound when a phone runs out of battery and goes off?* She asked herself and slowly brou-ght it to her face, it truly went off
“Oh no!!!!, I can’t do this” she shouted, ban-ging her hand on the car
She entered the hospital slowly and sat beside him quietly
“No matter how ha-rd I hope I won’t come across you, you always end up not far from me, are you for real?, I can’t believe this” she scoffed
Eddy’s call rang on her phone and she picked wearily
“Hey I’m about to die” she said
*What happened?” He asked hastily
“I somehow ended up in an hospital with Drew, I have to stay with him till daybreak so…see you tommorow!” She said all at once and hung up
” Jeez!” She said, yawning loudly
She worked late at the pizza shop today and tiredness is eating her up.
She shifted Drew to the other side of the be-d, almost ma-king him fall before slee-ping on the space she created
“Feels better” she thought, closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep immediately

Next morning**
Drew woke up first and when he saw an arm on him, he was shocked at first, he wondered where he is cos this is definitely not his house … It smells like an hospital
“Then who’s this lunatic?” He wondered, sitting up slowly, the arm fell from him and his eyes wi-de-ned when he saw BB right beside him
“What the …. Hell!!!!!!” He screamed and BB spranged up, dabbing her face with her palm
” Why are you screaming as if you dreamt of me?’ she said, glaring at him as she climbe-d down the be-d
“You sle-pt on the same be-d with me?” He said, staring at the be-d
“What?, You should be grateful…you pas-sed out and fell on me last night, I drove your boring as-s to the hospital and even stayed till now only for you to wake up and start screaming?” She said
” I… pas-sed out?” He said, remembering last night
” You don’t have a memory at all?” She glared, walking out of the ward, he rushed after him after wearing his shoes hurriedly and when he saw the ward he’s in, he almost screamed
“General ward?, Why the hell will I be in a general ward when there’s VVIP!” He yelled
” So the ones who stay in the general ward aren’t humans?, What’s the importance of VVIP anyways, you might be in heaven alre-ady right now if I had taken you there, and the state you were in last night didn’t even make me see anything and yet you’re talking like this?, Talk like a student for once idiot, I wonder how you got admitted….oh everything is all about money these days” she glared and started walking again but he st©pped her
“St©p talking like that, I can boldly say I wrote the exams and pas-sed, I did nothing with money, I don’t like forging my way into anywhere” he said seriously and she took her hand from him
“I don’t care” she said
“St©p being so upti-ght will you?” He said
” You caused it!, Not even a bit grateful towards your helper, I carried you in here in my arms” she said
” Thank you” he said and she pretended like she heard nothing
“Thank you” he said again and she looked at him, she glared
“Thank you thank you thank you” he said, smiling a bit
“Not like it’ll buy me anything” she said and he curved hisl-ips slightly
” Are you always like this?” He said and she looked at him
” Like?”
” Acting like a wacko” he whispered and she laughed lightly
” And do you always act like an idiot too?” She said
“I’m smart” he replied
” Sign up as a comedian but too bad you won’t make it” she said
” Can we talk more friendly?” He said
” Who’d want to be friends with you?” She glared
They’re out of the hospital right now
“I’m not saying friends, I don’t want to befriend a wacko too , instead let’s just be in a truce” he said
” Whatever” she replied .
” It’s Drew Kaz!”
“My model!”
“Whoa he’s with a girl, is that his girlfriend?”
” Drew I wanna faint!, He’s handsome even this early!”
Drew quic-kly gr@bbÂŁd BB’s hand and they both rushed into his car.
“Your fans are crazy, girlfriend?” She laughed
“So…you can’t d@tÂŁ me if I ask you out” he said and she looked at him, he win-ked
” You’re going ahead of yourself” she glared and he smiled, he got his wallet and gave her
“What’s this for?” Sue asked
“I give you everything that’s in there” he said and she opened it
It’s stacked with money!, No free space
“Are you bribing me?” She said
“Whatever, let’s go” he said and she smiled before putting the wallet in her pocket
” Your address?” She asked, he looked at her for a while before saying it.
She started driving and it didn’t take long before they arrived there
“Try not to step on my toes, that’s the only way we can be in a truce” she said, coming out of the car
She gave him the key immediately he c@mÂŁ out of the car
“How are you gonna get home?” He asked
“Cab” she replied and turned to leave but looked back swiftly
She walked back to him and took his hand, she stared at the br@celet on it for long
“What?” He asked confusedly but she kept staring till he tapped him
” Huh?” She said
“What?”
“Nothing, I gat to go” she replied and rushed out of the place
” I definitely have seen that br@celet somewhere, I’m very sure” she thought as she st©pped a cab and rode it home.
She got home thinking ha-rd about the br@celet but no matter how ha-rd , she didn’t get where she has seen it before
Eddy is waiting outside the house alre-ady and Immediately she got to him , he hvgged her
“Hey get off” she said, not struggling
“plea-se…. just a while” he practically pleaded
“Why?” She asked gently
” Nothing, just stay” he replied and she huffed gently
She stayed till he broke it and smiled
” I was so worried last night” he said, tou-ching her hair and surprisingly she didn’t sl@p his hand away, she even smiled
*Whoa!, Today will be great*
“I’m fine” she said and started going in with her
“By the way, why were you stuck with him in an hospital?” He asked
” He fainted, I’ll go clean up” she replied with another smile and entered the bathroom immediately, still thinking about the br@celet
” She smiled” Eddy whispered to himself, smiling too
” Yes!” He said.

California**
“Easy, easy cutie” Austen said, smiling as he guided Nikita into the big bathroom
“I know my way you should let me try it alone” she smiled, following his lead
” I can’t let you get hurt, you might fall” he replied when they finally got to the washing bowl, he made her sit in front of it and bent her head backwards then he sat behind her
“The second shampoo is better” she said and he picked the second one
” I knew it, the smell is more plea-sant” he said, opening the shampoo conditioner
He scooped water in the bailer and waited for a while
“Start alre-ady” she said
“The water is cold” he said
” Ion mind” she replied
” Let’s use warm water instead” he said
” I love cold water better” she replied
” You’re stubborn” he smiled
” I know, thanks” she replied and he poured the water in her hair
” Whoa!!! It’s warm!” She shouted
“I can’t possibly wash your hair with cold water, you might catch a cold and you should know cold water Is not advisable for the hair” he said
” Oh…. thanks for telling me that* she replied and he added shampoo before starting to wash her hair
“Wash more thor0Ă»ghly, wash wash wash” she said like a kid and he chuckled
” This place” she said, pointing at a sp©t she hasn’t felt his hands on, he moved there
” Here” she pointed at another place and he moved there too
” Here too” she said, pointing at another sp©t
“You’re knowingly doing this right?” He giggled
“You don’t like it?” She asked
” No, in fact I want you to trouble me plea-se” he said and she laughed before di-pping her hand into the lather in the bowl, she ru-bbe-d it on his face and he stood, his eyes stinging badly
“Nik you’re so dead!” He said, closing his eyes so the soap won’t pene-trateas he searched for the water with his hand, Nikita laughed cutely in her sitting position, knowing that’s what he’ll be doing right now and wishing she could just see him.
Austen found the water and rinsed his face before coming back to her, he pu-ll-ed her cheeks and she pouted
“Sowwy” she said like a kid and he smiled, bending over to k!ssher cheek
He made to continue washing her hair but his dad called, he picked reluctantly
“I said it, I knew you’d be going over there to murder my company!, How could you ruin the dinner Austen!” He yelled
” Will you listen to me for once?” Austen replied, trying not to explode
” There’s nothing to listen to you killer!, How dare you do this to MM!, you think the conglomerate is a random one?, It’ll be the biggest in Texas Austen!, You ruined everything!” He yelled
” I never ruined anything!, Mr Kaz was just trying to use us!” He yelled back
” Use us?”
” You should have calmed down and let me explain when I arrive but you called to ruin my mood, don’t do this again…dad” he said and hung up, breathing heavily while ti-ght£ñing his hold on his phone
He spent almost a minute on his sp©t before walking back to Nikita, he resumed washing her hair
“Your dad?” She asked
“Apparently” he replied
“Did he yell at you?” She asked
“As usual” he replied
“Are you sad?” She asked
“Why would I be?, You’re here” he replied and she smiled
” You can hvg me” she said and he smiled before hvgging her
” Stay still, you can’t let the water on your hair drip down” he said, resting his head on her shoulder
” Are we still going back tomorrow?” She asked
“Wanna stay longer here with me?” He asked
” I’d love to, but Eddy and BB” she replied
” I un-derstand” he smiled, re-leasing her
“Be fast, the shampoo is spending too long in my hair” she said
He resumed washing her hair once again, tickling her scalp with his f!ngers
She chuckled as he continued, laughing loudly
“Austen!!” She laughed loudly

Sunshine high**
Melissa walked into the clas-s angrily and dropped her bag on her seat before going to BB’s table, she pu-ll-ed her by her shi-t and made her stand
“Because of you I spent all yesterday in the hospital, you think you can go scot free?” She glared

” Wanna spend all today in the hospital as well?” BB replied
” You’re full of guts as usual” Melissa smiled
” Why?, Are you Jealous?” BB said
Melissa pushed her and BB fell back on her chair with a sm-irk on her face
“I’ll make sure you never last in this school” Melissa glared
” Did you just gr-ab my shi-t?, You even pushed me?” BB smiled, standing up again
” So what?, Are you gonna make me pas-s out like yesterday?” Melissa said boldly
” No, you won’t pas-s out, you’ll pas-s away this time” BB replied and made to punch her but someone held her hand, she looked back angrily to see Eddy
“Let me go” she said
“Two fools” Melissa laughed
” No you can’t cause another trouble” Eddy said
“Let me go else I’ll transfer it to you” BB said impatiently
” You can’t!” Eddy said loudly but BB f0rç£fully took her hand from him…. when she made to go to Melissa, Drew blocked her
“Wanna go to jail again?” He said
“There’s nothing wrong in visiting my second home” she replied boldly
” Think about the pains of the people surrounding you!, That blind lady, you want her to come running to the station again then crash on the tables again?” He said
BB breathed ha-rd , looking away
” Think for once and….
” Hi here!” A girl’s voice said in the front and everyone faced her, it’s Kayla, she’s wearing the uniform and carrying a backpack
“I’m joining you guys” she waved and faced Drew
“Hi Drew” she waved
Drew pretended not to see her and gr@bbÂŁd BB’s hand
” What?” She glared
“Come with me” he said and started taking her out of the clas-s but Eddy pu-ll-ed her second hand
“Where are you taking her to?” He questioned
” What’s happening?” Melissa muttered
Kayla watched surprisingly, Drew just t©uçhed a girl!
“We nee-d to talk so let her go” Drew said
“No” Eddy replied meanly
“Let me go…you both” BB said and f0rç£fully broke free
She stormed out of the clas-s Immediately while Melissa glared at Kayla hatefully, walking closer to her
“Why are you here?” She questioned
“I guess your br@in isn’t mature enough to know people come to school to learn” Kayla replied and walked past her to find herself a seat
“I’ll make you regret coming here to take Drew from me” Melissa smiled wickedly
Eddy glared at Drew too and they won’t st©p glaring for long.
“What’s about to happen?” Olive muttered.
