“Austen have you gone nuts?, Let me go!” Sara screamed again, coughing as his hold on her n£¢k got stronger
“I feel like snapping your n£¢k right now and just s£nd you out of existence” Austen said coldly before letting her go, she fell heavily on the ground, holding her red n£¢k while coughing
Austen went back to Nikita who’s still standing, looking scared
“I’m so sorry” he said and she held her wrist, it hurts
” Does it hurt?, Huh?, Does it?” He asked, taking it but she cringed hurtfully.
” Damn” he said and made to go to Sara again and just dismantle her but Nikita held him
” Don’t leave, hold my hand plea-se” she said quic-kly
Austen sighed and looked back at Sara, she stood and glared at him before walking into one of the washrooms
He held Nikita’s hand and checked it out, she must have a delicate skin like him cos her wrist is red alre-ady
“I’ll get you to the nearest hospital, this nee-ds to be treated’ he said
“No you can’t do that, the dinner is almost starting you can’t be late because of me” she said
” It’s nothing Nik, let’s get your wrist treated I hate seeing you get hurt* he said
“No we really can’t, if you come late to the meeting, your dad will get angry and call you a murderer again, he’ll say things to hurt you just because of me and I’ll feel guilty, do you want that?” She said
” But your wrist…
“I can still manage till the end of the dinner I promise” she replied
” Nik….
“plea-se….” She insisted
He smiled shortly and ca-ressed her cheek
“It’s ok, just promise me you’ll be fine till the end of the dinner”
” I promise” she replied and he smiled
“Austen Malcolm?” A hoarse voice said behind them and he swiftly faced the direction to see Mr and Mrs Fabio, they’re just coming
“Greetings Ma and Sir” he bowed
“You look more handsome, no wonder Sara is crazy about you, how cute!” Mrs Fabio smiled
” You’ve really become more handsome Austen, by the way who’s she?” Mr Fabio asked, gesturing at Nikita whose hand is in Austen’s
“My worker in my office” he replied and Mrs Fabio sighed
“Oh I’m glad, I thought she’s your girlfriend” she smiled
Austen only smiled shortly as they all went into the hall, looking elegant and expensive, the dishes looking appealing and mouthwatering on the table
Mrs Kaz is pres£nt alre-ady then Jillian.
“Sara isn’t here yet?, She left home before us” Mrs Fabio said
” Maybe she eloped who knows” Jillian said tea-singly
“You’re here?, Spoilt wife of Das?” Mrs Fabio replied, placing her purse on the table and coincidentally, it’s same with Jillian’s purse
Jillian sm-irked immediately she saw it
“If you want this dinner to end well for you, better learn how to talk better” she frowned
” Here to show off your purse?” Mrs Fabio said.
” I guess that’s what you c@m£ here to do but for your information, mine was a limited product, only for me” Jillian said arrogantly
” Of course it should be only for you,no s-en-sible rich woman will want to get things from same br@nd as you, fake and cheap!” Mrs Fabio said
” Shut your mouth!” Jillian shouted
” I should really do that, I can’t take the risk of taking in your unfriendly smell throu-gh my mouth” Mrs Fabio said
” What!” Jillian said
” Why did i accept to come here in the first place” Austen whispered frustratedly
Nikita heard and placed her hand on his l@p, expecting his own on it and he did place his hand on hers, she held it and he smiled
“Pretend like you didn’t hear” she said
“I’ll do that” he smiled
” You both should st©p!, Right now!” Mr Fabio said loudly
“And who are you to order around” Jillian said spitefully
” St©p it Jillian!” Mrs Kaz said authoritatively and Jillian smiled
“I’m sorry Mrs Kaz, this bit-ch here made me angry” she said
Mrs Fabio made to reply but Mr Fabio held her
” St©p” he whispered and she breathed ha-rd as Jillian rolled eyes at her
Sara entered in the next minute, changed to a different go-wn alre-ady, she tired a muffler on her n£¢k obviously to hide the redness.
“My gorgeous princess, where have you been” Mrs Fabio said as she settled beside her
” Just nee-ded to take care of some stuff” she replied, glaring at Nikita hatefully
” But you were wearing a different dress earlier” Mr Fabio said
“I can’t change taste anymore?” She replied sharply
“St©p being upti-ght, your prince charming is here, act tender” Mrs Fabio said and Sara sighed
” Can we start this dinner?” Mrs Kaz said
” By the way…what of your husband?’ Jillian asked
“He’ll soon be here, he returned from Texas a while ago and nee-ded to rest, I’m sure he’ll meet us here” Mrs Kaz replied
” Oh….ok” Jillian smiled as the servers c@m£ in to serve everyone
“I don’t think I’ll be able to eat, my last meal hadn’t fully digested” Nikita said
” You just have to take as much as a bite” Austen replied
” Really?”
” Yes, you should do that” he replied and she curved herl-ips
” Ok”
He gave her the fork and she took it
“A little bit forward, dig in” he said and she did that
“Thanks” she said as she picked some with her fork
“She’s…..blind?, Unbelievable” Sara scowled, looking at her as she chewed slowly on the food
“How’s it?” Austen asked
“Not bad” Nikita replied and Austen smiled, ru-bbing the back of her hand un-der the table
“Sorry I c@m£ late” Mr Kaz said as he entered radiantly
” Oh welcome!” Mrs Fabio and Jillian said at a time.
“Thanks, I had bussiness to take care of in Texas so I went for it, it took some time I’m sorry” he said
” It’s ok, you can take all your time anyways” Jillian said
” I’ll just go straight to the point about bussiness, let’s decide how the conglomerate will be ruled first before creating it together” Mr Kaz said
” Each person has rules that guides their current companies so I think we should just bring them together then talk about it as one” Austen replied
” Was just about to say that” Mr Fabio said
“It won’t hinder the running of our current companies though, I can’t give up MM to form a conglomerate ” Austen said
” Smart as-s, it’s ok, and I think I’ll have the most to do, the biggest connections belongs to me and I think I should get to decide the duties of everyone” Mr Kaz said
” You’re right” Mr Fabio said
” Did you really bring this idea of building a conglomerate together because you want growth for everyone or because you want everyone un-der your wings to watch over?” Austen said tactfully and Mr Kaz g@sped
” what are you talking about?” Mrs Kaz said and Austen smiled but it was short
” Suddenly talking about deciding the duties of everyone even when the conglomerate hasn’t been built, doesn’t that sound suspicious?, I’m not gonna be anyone’s puppet” he said
” Why did Das s£nd you here in the first place you’re so rude!, Everyone here are your elders!” Mr Fabio said
” When it comes to business, nothing like elders old man” Austen said
” Old man?” Mr Fabio said shockingly
” What the hell do you think you’re doing?’ Jillian said, standing from her seat,
“Just what I should do, I nee-d to protect what I have so it won’t get snatched away by snitches” he replied
” You worthless son of a who-re!, How dare you try to sprinkle blemish on my husband’s reputation!” Jillian barked and gr@bb£d her purse, she walked to Austen and tried hitting the purse on his head but he held her hand and squee-zed it slightly
“Ouch!, My hand!” She winced and everyone stood
“Heard he’s gentle” Mrs Fabio said shockingly
Sara smiled, watching Austen proudly
Any thoughtful person will know Austen was right about Mr Kaz
She looked at Nikita again, she’s still on her seat, not moving an inch
“Ion care how much he loves you. So far he’s Austen Malcolm, I’ll steal him away…blind beauty” she thought .
Austen let go of Jillian’s hand and the purse fell, she held her wrist in pains
“Psycho!” She sh0t, looking at him unbelievably
“Try messing with me again and I’ll crush you….to tiny bits, slut” he said and Jillian’s eyes wi-de-ned
” Let’s go Nik” he said and gr@bb£d her hand, pu-lling her up and leaving with her immediately
“What was that?” Mr Kaz said disappointedly
“He was obviously saying the truth Mr Kaz, the sly fox” Sara smiled, standing up
” Sara….” Mrs Kaz said and she faced her
“Thanks for choosing Austen for me mum dad….I just fell in love with him more than before with his smartness” she smiled and left the place too
” That….that br@t!” Mr Fabio spat
“Ruined” Mrs Kaz said, holding her head
“By the way Mr Kaz, don’t you think we should set our wards up?, I mean…your Drew and my Melissa” Jillian said
” No Mr Kaz, it should be my Kayla” Mrs Fabio said
“Drew is in a relationsh!palre-ady” Mr Kaz replied
“What!’ Mrs Fabio and Jillian screamed
“Really?” Mr Fabio said
“What are you talking about?” Mrs Kaz asked shockingly
“You know how stubborn he can be when he wants something, I saw his girlfriend today in Texas” Mr Kaz replied slowly
” Hell” Mrs Kaz said.
“$h!t!” Jillian spat angrily, kicking the table

Texas, Nikita’s place**
BB stayed in front of the small bathroom mirror, brushing her teeth aggressively for the fifth time since she c@m£ back from deliveries, no matter what she does, she won’t st©p imagining it over and over again and each time, she feels like dying
“That son of a bastard!, Aarrgh!!!!” She screamed, brushing more wildly, almost wounding her gum
She st©pped brushing and rinsed her toothbrush then looked in the mirror again,…
The scene of how he gr@bb£d her and placed hisl-ips on hers c@m£ to her head again and she screamed
“No no no….. BB this can’t be happening to you, I feel like dying and dying again why will I get k!$$£d by a guy like him?, I’ve promised myself not to ever let myl-ips get defiled!, I made a promise to let myl-ips remain v!rg!ntill I get my revenge and die!, how dare you Drew!, How dare you! I wanna die!” She said loudly
She put another paste on her brush and started brushing again
“Even if it means hurting my gum, I have to get rid of your taste! You rotten bastard!, Arrgg!!!” She screamed again
She st©pped and looked at the mirror again, she Imagined the scene again and stump her foot on the ground
“scre-w you Drew Kaz!, scre-w!!!!” She screamed, falling on the ground
” I wanna fv¢king die!”
Eddy successfully broke the bathroom door and rushed in
She actually locked herself in….
He bent beside her and BB pouted pitifully
“Are you ok?, Huh?, Why were you screaming?” He asked as worry covered his face
” Go wear my boots and come back to march me, I really nee-d to die, plea-se kill me” she said, throwing her legs up
” What the hell are you talking about?” Eddy said and she sat up
” I really look like a psycho right now, right?, Yeah, I’m going crazy and I might really go mental soon, how could he” she said
” St©p confusing me Bright, we’re the only two at home and yet you didn’t talk to me throu-ghout today in school, you c@m£ back home and just entered this place then started shouting, if something is happening plea-se tell me I’m scared” he said, tears are forming in his eyes alre-ady
“Are you seriously gonna cry right now?, If those tears fall then I’ll punch you” she said and his tears fell
She raised her fist to his face and Eddy closed his eyes, expecting it
“Weakling” she said and smiled before withdrawing her fist,,
She made to stand but maybe she mistake poured water on the ground during her displa-y, she sli-pped on it and fell directly on Eddy
“fv¢k!” She said, tilting up to behold Eddy’s face beneath him
Eddy opened his eyes and when he saw her face, he bit hisl-ips to control himself.. .
BB stared at him for a while before quic-kly standing
“Are you ok?” Eddy asked, standing too while wiping his tears
“Sure” she replied simply and her phone rang, unknown number
“I’m speaking with?” She asked immediately she picked
“Come down the road right now, I have a secret to tell you” the voice said and hung up
” Secret?, Secret?” She said and her eyes wi-de-ned
She ran out of the bathroom and put on her shoes before starting to run out of the house
“Where are you going to?” Eddy asked, holding her
“I nee-d to go somewhere tonight, I’ll be right back, you don’t dare eat dinner before I come, I’ll kill you” she win-ked and ran out of the house
Eddy thought of the fall earlier and when he remembered how cuter she looked up close, he smiled
“If only you’ll st©p wi-nking at me,. It makes me lose my mind” he whispered

BB thought maybe someone finally knew something about her parents murder, that’s why she rushed out to meet whoever it is.
She ran all the way down the road, the streets is still busy though…
She dialled the line and the person picked immediately
“Where are you?” She asked, looking around
*Here” a voice said behind her and she looked back to see a masked guy, he took her hand immediately and pu-ll-ed her along, she followed without struggling
They got to a silent and quiet place and he faced her
“Who are you?” She questioned and before he could answer, she pu-ll-ed of his mask
“Drew idiot?” She said shockingly
“I’m sorry I just have to do it this way, I c@m£ to give you the money for your pizza” he said, bringing out his wallet
” You called me cos of that?, How ridiculous can you be” she said, glaring at him
” Punch me if you feel like, Theodore said what I did was wrong and he told me to apologise, I’m sorry” he said
She looked at his face, it’s still a mess from her punch and kick in the morning, hisl-ips is still red and swelled
“Thanks to you I almost went crazy, why did you do that why!” She shouted
” To convince my dad” he replied and her eyes wi-de-ned
She remembered hearing him introducing her to the man as his girlfriend
“Drew!!!!” She screamed, kicking his legs and he staggered
“I said I’m sorry” he replied gently and coughed lightly, he really looks sickly
” You’re nuts” she glared
“I’m sorry again” he replied and she sighed
“Get out I don’t want to see you” she said and he coughed again, he feels dizzy
“Go” she said and he sneezed loudly
“I’m sick….cold” he stuttered
“Seriously I’m sick of you too” she replied and he sneezed again before his eyes went shut, he went down straight, falling on her
“Is he drun!k?” She wondered and tried to push him away but she suddenly felt his temperature, fv¢king h0t!
“Is he a stove?, $h!t!, Hey idiot get off me!” She said, shaking him.but he won’t budge, he really pas-sed out
“Should I just kill him and throw his b©dy in the lagoon for fishes?” She wondered, holding him to prevent him from falling.
She saw his red car on the other side of the road and smiled
“I’ll drive you crazy before we get to the hospital”

California**
Austen got back to his h0tel room with Nikita and took off his clothes immediately, changing into something more comfortable
His mood tonight was scary.
“Are you ok?” He asked gently, taking off Nikita’s shoes
“Oh….em…yeah” she replied
“I’m sorry for acting that way over there, was just so angry” he said, tou-ching her cheek
” It’s ok, just that it felt thri-lling to see another side of you today” she smiled
He chuckled and t©uçhed her wrist gently
“It got better” she said
They actually br@nched at the hospital to get it treated
“I’m sorry you had to get hurt” he said
“It’s ok, it wasn’t your fault and I heal quic-kly, I’ll be ok before daybreak” she replied and stood
” My Zi-p” she said and he went behind her to pu-ll it down, he brou-ght out her PJs from the closet and gave it to her before turning his back on her
“Get changed, back on you” he said and she nodded before starting
She took off her dress and br@ before sli-pping on the PJs
“Done” she said and he faced her
How she looks good in everything remains a wonder
“I’ll sleep on the ground, you can sleep on the be-d” he said
” No … Let’s sleep on the be-d together I’m fine” she quic-kly replied
” Really?”
” Yes trust me” she replied and climbe-d the be-d, he did the same and they sle-pt on their individual spaces since the be-d is big enough
“Goodnight” Austen said
“Same here” she replied but sleep never c@m£, they both couldn’t close their eyes
She kept rolling around likewise him, unable to sleep
He sighed and rolled for the uptenth time then he c@m£ face to face with Nikita who just changed position too
He almost lost his breath and his eyes bec@m£ bigger as they st©pped in front of each other, her smalll-ips staring at him temp-tingly
Right now his heart is busy slamming ha-rd on his ribcage,…
*Herl-ips* he thought
Nikita can feel his minty breath brushing her face so she knows he’s in front of her but anytime she thinks of shifting away, she finds that difficult.
“Austen” she whispered.
Austen kept his eyes on herl-ips and she searched for him with her hand.
Immediately her hand t©uçhed him, Austen let his palm meet with her cheek then drew closer to her before taking herl-ips into his mouth completely.
