Drew’s mansion, 8pm**
“Young master, dinner is re-ady” the maids announced. He’s sitting in his study with a pen and paper in front of him, trying to make a letter appear on the paper but it seems Impossible
He took the pen to start writing again…
“Young master, dinner is re-ady” the maid announced again
” Can’t you see I’m busy?, fvĀ¢k off I’m not re-ady for dinner right now! ‘ he yelled
“I’m sorry master” the maid bowed and scurried out
Drew faced the paper and pen and held his head
“I can’t just sit home without schooling, I’d have quit Sunshine high…. I can’t transfer to another school… Sunshine high is the best school here, the only one that meets up to my standards…. Why do I have to hit her…. Why did my spirit tell me not to say sorry that day?, Gosh!, I’m just so unfortunate to meet her” he said to himself and sighed
He used his headband and picked the pen again, he took a de-ep breath and gathered strength
If this is what it’ll take to get off her tra-p, then I should summon courage” he said and started writing
He wrote for a minute and stĀ©pped
“I tried, she should be human enough to take this, I can’t do more than this” he said, enclosing it in a brown envelope
She stood from there and went upstairs to his room
There are five rooms in the big mansion….he’s the only one living in there, he’s lonely but maybe he’s in love with being in his own solitude
He stared at Dora’s picture on the wall and smiled, his cute ten years old sis whom he cherishes a lot but can’t see cos he doesn’t want to see his parents
His parents are what he dislikes most in the whole continent…the only thing he’s grateful to them for is his eyes.
He heaved and re-moved his head band before going back downstairs for dinner
He took just five bites from the steak and dropped the fork then drank from the wine before standing
“Young master you ba-rely ate” the maid said worriedly
” I’m full alre-ady” he replied and went upstairs though he just told a lie, he actually lost appetite as usual.
He’s always fast to lose appetite and that has been bothersome for Theodore but not him….to him, it meant nothing
He got to his room,took the night shower before changing into his PJs and his phone rang, it’s Theodore
He picked the call, falling on the be-d
“I was about to sleep when you called, make it snappy” he said
“The maids reported that you ate little again” Theodore said, worry can be felt in his voice
” That’s my stomach capacity Theo, I’m fine alre-ady” he replied, closing his eyes
” Five bites of steak?, You haven’t been eating well since a month ago, are you planning to lose some weight?, You might get ulcer too it’s dangerous Drew… plea-se you nee-d to get back to the dinning right now and eat” Theodore said
” StĀ©p ordering me around, I’m the boss not you” Drew replied
” I’m not ordering you Drew, I’m just saying…..you can’t continue doing this to yourself” Theodore replied
” Just let me be, I’m fine…stĀ©p nagging” he sighed
” Not like you’ll listen…. anyways how was your first day?” He asked
“The worse day of my life….my worse nightmare is in same school with me, that ugly wacko resumed today too” he replied
” BB?” Theodore said surprisingly
“Ion care whatever her name is” he replied
“Oh no, are you ok?” Theodore asked
” No….I just finished writing the letter she asked for, I feel horrible, having to see her everyday su-cks” he replied
” You gat to endure it and who knows…after she forgives you….you guys might become friends” Theodore said
” Friends my foot, goodnight if you like” he replied and hung up, throwing the phone beside him before covering his eyes with the cute night blindfold, he dozed off immediately.

Regina’s place**
“So, you aren’t gonna tell me about the girl?” She asked, leading Austen out of the house, he has been with her after dropping Nikita at her house earlier
“Her name is Nikita, she’s pretty, smart and cool” he smiled, holding Regina’s hand
” So she makes you happy” Regine said
“A lot” he beamed
” Seeing you smile without trying feels good, all thanks to the girl you’re talking about, I can’t wait to meet her” Regina said
” Maybe soon mum” he replied
” Just be happy my treasure, that’s all I want…. And I wish to meet her fast, I know I’m being impatient right now but it ain’t my fault” she said
” I un-derstand but just a little bit of patience won’t hurt mum” he replied
” I’ll try, and about Jillian and Melissa, just do the nee-dful, they’d run” Regina said
” The day is drawing near mum, this girl gives me strength and encourages me a lot so I think Jillian might get it real from me soon” he replied
” I’m hoping this p@rticular Nikita won’t sl!poff your hands” Regina said
” Never, I’m never gonna let her go, even if she won’t feel the same, I’d continue loving her, it was LAFS” he said
” What’s LAFS?” Regina asked
” Love at first sight” he win-ked and Regina chuckled
” So it’s real…then I hope she’d feel the same” Regina said
” I hope so too” he replied and hvgged her
“I love you mum, goodnight” he said
“Love you more son, I wish you’d sleep ti-ght but unfortunately it’s Impossible” Regina said sadly
” I’ll be fine someday mum, bye!” He waved, getting in his car
He drove off some minutes later and Regina smiled
“What I’ve been hoping for is finally happening”

Nikita’s place**
” BB has been acting weird since we left school” Eddy said after dinner, BB is currently in the bathroom, taking a shower which is so uncommon of her, she hates night shower
“Weird?” Nikita replied
“She talks slowly and less” Eddy replied
“Really?, I didn’t notice?” Nikita said, standing up
” She really behaved weird” Eddy said worriedly
Nikita went into the room and can hear the bathroom door shutting, meaning she’s out
“Bright are you fine?” She asked
“Why did you ask?” BB asked
” Eddy said you’re acting weird” she replied
” That baby Teddy?, Don’t mind him he must be seeing things, I’m perfectly fine” she replied quic-kly
” Are you sure?”
” Kita trust me, I hate when you worry” she replied and Nikita sighed, hoping she’s saying the truth
Her phone rang, a call from Austen,,
“I just love his determination” BB said
“What are you talking about” Nikita said
“Don’t worry cutie” she replied and Nikita picked the call
” Mr Austen” she smiled
” It’s becoming uncomfortable” Austen replied
” What?”
” Having Mr at the back of my name, can’t you just call me Austen?, plea-se?” He said
” No it’s improper, you’re my boss so….” She said
“And as the boss now, I’m telling you to stĀ©p addressing me as Mr” he replied
” Mr Austen” she said
” There she goes again… ” He replied
“I’m sorry I just….I think it’ll take a long before I’ll get used to calling you by your name, it feels uncomfortable and … I’m sorry” she replied
” Don’t say sorry, just start trying it Nik, hope you had dinner alre-ady?” He asked
” Oh…yeah sure, thanks for the Mac and cheese the other time during lunch” she smiled
” I hate when you thank me” he replied
” Mr Austen …” She whined
” Everything I do is because you deserve it Nik, just be ok hmm?” He said
” Sure, you too….by the way why don’t you try the hospital concerning your insomnia” she replied
” I’ve been doing that since it started but it’s not working, maybe that’s my punishment for killing my mum” he said
” Mr Austen” she cautioned
” Joking….I heard your voice alre-ady so I’d be happy tonight at least…. I’d see you tommorow” he said
” Ok Austen” she replied and he stĀ©pped talking
” Austen?” She said
” Gosh….. how can my name sound so cute on yourl-ips” he said
“Goodnight Mr Austen” she replied
” Not again” he replied to she chuckled before hanging up
She stood on her spĀ©t for a while, just smiling without moving till BB tapped her
“Huh!” She jumped
“You nee-d to sleep, mocha girl” she said and Nikita smiled before walking to the be-d, she l@ydown and BB left the room
“Austen…. feels weird to call him ordinarily” she thought.

Next morning**
” I’ll continue saying you’re not ok, I know what I’m saying…your eyeba-lls are pale even your face, you look sick” Eddy said as he dressed up, BB has finished dressing up
“Just shut up, i own my bĀ©dy and I said I’m ok” she replied and Eddy felt her temperature, she’s running a really high temperature
“Bright!” He literally screamed
“Shut up!” She said, blocking hisl-ips with her palm as Nikita c@mĀ£ out
“Is anything the problem?” She asked, looking at their dramatic position
” No” BB replied, pu-lling Eddy out like that while Nikita followed behind
Austen is alre-ady waiting when they got out,, he helped Nikita into the car and Eddy smiled at him surprisingly
“Take care of her” he said
“He said it all” BB added and he replied with a smile before entering the car with her
The drive started immediately and he had a feast of her face with his eyes for a while
“Why are you staring?” She suddenly said and he quic-kly looked away
“I’m not staring” he said
“My instincts are always right so don’t deny it Mr Austen” she replied
“Ok I stared, you’re just too cute anyways” he replied and she felt a smile escape herl-ips
He saw her smile and held her hand
“I’m add!Ƨted to doing this” he said, interlocking it
” Your hand is warm” she said, enjoying how it wra-pped warmly around hers
” it always is” he replied, ru-bbing the back of her hand with his thumb
” You’re so sweet Austen” she said and his heart fluttered, hearing his name on herl-ips feels Se-xy
“Say that again plea-se” he said
” You’re so sweet Mr Austen” she replied knowingly
” Nik…’ he gro-an ed and she giggled cutely…

Sunshine high**
“We should go to the infirmary seriously, you’re not fine” Eddy said worriedly as they stepped into their block
“And I said I’m ok” BB lied
Honestly since she c@mĀ£ back from school yesterday she has been feeling sick, it’s not the first time she’ll be having fever anyways, she gets fever frequently and that’s what she just hates about herself cos most of the times, she pas-ses out….
“Eddy!” Olive appeared beside them
“Whoa you look cute” Eddy said
Olive tĀ©uƧhed her new earring, hoping he’d notice,,
“Let’s walk fas-ter, we can’t be late” he said
” My earrings, are they pretty?, Do they look pretty on me?” She asked, tou-ching her hair slowly
” Of course, new earrings always look good on girls” he replied and Olive smiled
BB suddenly leaned on the wall, her head felt wobbly and it’s spinning with unbearable headache .. it has been like that since daybreak but it got worse
A little tear escaped her eyes but she quic-kly wiped it and continued walking before Eddy will notice but just at the base of the rails that led to the rooftĀ©p, someone pu-ll-ed her in
“Idiot” she said weakly when she saw Drew
He drew her upstairs and faced her
” the letter” he said, giving it to her, she took it with shaky hands and he noticed
He waited as she opened it shakily and re-ad what he wrote
“I’M SORRY, FORGIVE MY MANNERS plea-sE”
She smiled faintly when she finished re-ading it
” You didn’t add the most important p@rt, why your br@in is useless as letter K in the word knife” she said, her eyes feeling heavy alre-ady
He was about to reply when she suddenly staggered
He looked at her as if she’s performing magic and she stood upright again
“I’ll…..let it slide….but if you….cross me again…. I’mma kick you and sĀ£nd you… flying to…to San Francisco” she stuttered weakly and started walking downstairs,,
She took each step weakly and wearily till her eyes closed voluntarily and she started going down
Drew was fast enough to get to her and catch her, her temperature is burning, he almost screamed, she’s sweating too
“What’s her name again…. BB hey!, Wacko!” He called
“Bright!” Eddy said from the stairs, climbing up immediately,,
He snatched her from Drew and glared at him before starting the rush to the clinic.
