“Mr Austen” Nikita said shockingly, ti-ght£ñing her hands around his own
She can’t see but the sound of what she just heard is how exactly it’ll sound like if a person got hit…. maybe a sl@p….he surely got it..
“Oh lover boy took the sl@p?” Jillian said as Austen looking back at her
Right now he wants to tear her to shreds and make her cry, just show her a little bit of his ha-rd side but he decided against it
“The only reason why you’re still ok is because I took the sl@p, if you had sl@pped her, I’d have made you regret coming here today” he said and left with Nikita, pu-lling her behind him till they got to his office, he let her go and looked at his face using his phone….his right cheek is fvÂąking red
“Mr Austen?” Nikita called when she felt no movement
“I’m sorry” he replied and took her hand again, he made to lead her to sit but she st©pped him by standing her groud, he looked back at her
“Why?” He said and she stepped closer
“You….got sl@pped?” She asked worriedly
“It’s nothing to worry about seriously” he replied
” Why will anyone sl@p you” she said
“Everyone in my family hates me so I get hit almost everyday” he replied
” You take it all without retaliating?” She said
“Yes, I decided to okay cool since my life is sad anyways” he replied
” But…the sl@p must hurt a lot” she said
” No, I’m used to it” he replied and she slowly brou-ght her hand to his face
Surprisingly, she t©uçhed his left cheek but he didn’t move, she moved her hand to the right cheek and he cringed in pains
“I knew it, sorry about this” she said pitifully
“Hey you don’t have to worry about me, I’m happy that finally I have you here so don’t make worries your first day experience, be happy” he said and she smiled
” Can I get an ice pack?” She asked
“Why?”
“I nee-d to press it on your face, it’ll reduce the redness” she replied
” You don’t have to worry Nik, I’m fine” he said and she sighed
” How many times do you want coffee daily?” She asked
“Maybe….ten times?” He tea-sed
” I can do it” she replied
” Just joking, three times is enough for me, the most important thing is having you here with me” he said and she didn’t speak for a while
” Since you said it yesterday, I’ve ordered my secretary to bring a brewer and my favorite mocha” he said
” Can you help me count the steps I’ll have to take from the door till this place?” She asked and he went there, measured his steps till he got to her
“Fifteen straight” he said and held her hand, leading her to the small room beside the office, serving as the coffee room
“Another fifteen steps will take you here” he said
“Ok” she nodded and took her hand, using it to t©uçh the brewer and it’s p@rts then the coffee cu-ps and spoon, then the bowl containing the coffee packs and the water dispenser, telling her how far ap@rt they are
“I think I can t©uçh everything, I know the positions now” she said
” Really?, t©uçh the cu-ps” he said and she t©uçhed it directly
” Cool, the dispenser” he said and she t©uçhed it too
” Coffee bowl?” He said and she t©uçhed it too
” Brewer?”
She t©uçhed it too
“How can you get everything in such a short time” he said
“I just get things fast” she replied
” How far did you go in school?” He asked
” Elementary, my parents died immediately I left elementary school, my graduation day” she replied sadly
” I’m sorry” he replied
” It’s ok”
” So, you weren’t blind then?” He asked
” I went blind that same day” she replied
” What the….”
” I’m not re-ady to talk about the full details now, maybe later” she replied
” Mum died Immediately I was birthed” he said
” Huh?”
” Yeah, I lost my loving mum without getting to see her face, and now dad is saying I killed her, he hates me most, stepmom Jillian…the woman we meet earlier…she hates me too…. Melissa my stepsister hates me” he said sadly
She can feel the sadness in his voice and now she knows he’s going throu-gh a lot of $h!t
“Your dad…is irrational I’m sorry to say” she said
“I dunno, you might be right…let’s not talk about that anymore, make me coffee plea-se, I nee-d it” he said and she nodded,,
She made to turn back to the brewer but she sli-pped on something and was almost at the floor when Austen caught her, hvgging her indirectly , he can feel her heavy heartbeats, she must have been so scared
“Don’t worry, I won’t ever let you fall, not when you’re right beside me” he said, letting her go
” Thanks Mr Austen” she smiled and he t©uçhed her hair gently
“I’ll stay, make the coffee while I’m here” he said.

Sunshine highschool**
The second clas-s for the day is just ending, the lunch break alarm sounded and students rushed out of the clas-s,,
“Let’s go to the cafeteria, bills on me” Olive said to Eddy and BB
” Ion think I’m interested” BB replied, plugging in her earpiece
” Why?” Eddy asked
” Isn’t it obvious?, Someone will definitely piss me off and I’ll definitely hit someone” she replied and Olive laughed
” I’m right here, I won’t allow you to do that” Eddy as-sured and BB looked at him
” You sure about that?” She asked, looking at Melissa who’s just leaving the clas-s
“Let’s go alre-ady” Eddy replied and pu-ll-ed her second hand, Olive held the first and she was led out of the clas-s,,
Suddenly at the hallway, Eddy pe-cked BB just like last time and she quic-kly took her arms from them
“I told you I hate it” she said seriously
“It was just a pe-ck, why take it personal, friends pe-ck” he replied
” I just don’t like pe-cks, don’t you get it?” She replied
” Ok sorry_ he said and she sighed, walking away
“She’s always angry” Eddy said, walking behind her
Olive took long on her sp©t, watching them uncomfortably…. Eddy has never made the mistake of pe-cking her and now he’s pe-cking BB?, She instantly felt bad
She decided to cover up and left for the cafeteria too, coming in immediately after they did
“What should I eat?” Eddy wondered loudly
“Let’s eat same thing…. pizza and jui-ce” Olive said, holding his arm
” Not bad , Bright say something” Eddy said
“Nutella toast” she replied simply and Olive got them, Olive made to pay for everything but she st©pped her and payed for her lunch by herself
“Why?, We’re friends right?, Friends buy things for each other” Olive said, feeling bad
” I know, but not now, keep it for when I’ll ask for something bigger,I mean something costly” BB win-ked and Olive smiled as they moved to their seats
They started eating and while Olive and Eddy chatted about the English as-signment, she was busy looking around the cafeteria
Drew didn’t come and so is Melissa, she sighed and took a bite from the toast
“Boring” she remarked dryly, taking another rou-gh bite
“What’s boring in this bubbly cafeteria” Olives said
“No one is trying to make me do things to them” she replied and Eddy laughed
” Seriously you’re funny” he said
“I’m out of here” she said and left the cafeteria
” Is she always like this?” Olive asked
“Sure, I nee-d to follow her” Eddy replied and went after BB
Olive bec@mÂŁ lonely again, she looked at her remaining lunch and sighed, taking a gentle bite from the pizza
“Everything is different now” she muttered

BB walked throu-gh the hallway that led to the clas-s, looking everywhere carefully, hunting for who’ll cross her lane but it seems the students are too blind with lunch, no one is trying to do that
Then she suddenly saw Drew climbing the stairs some meters away from her, Melissa rushed after him immediately
“Oh….a movie to watch” she said and went upstairs too, taking slow steps till she started hearing voices from the rooft©p
“Drew wait!” Melissa’s voice shouted, running after him and he suddenly looked back
“What!, I said I hate you!, I hate you don’t you get it?, I hate you so stay away!” He hammered
” Why would you hate me without a reason, Drew you’re the only guy I’ve ever had a crush on, just look at me once plea-se, we can do test d@t!ng, d@tÂŁ me for three days and see if you’ll be able to break up with me” Melissa replied desperately and Drew scoffed
” Really?, You’re that desperate to d@tÂŁ me?, This is so unbelievable” Drew replied and BB giggled in her hiding place
” She’s something else” she whispered, watching with interest
“Drew plea-se….ok then should we fvÂąk first?, Have a taste of me first before deciding weather you’ll do it or not” Melissa said
” Enough!, Get out of here, I want to be alone” Drew yelled and Melissa went closer to him, she tried to hvg her but he pushed her and she staggered
“Don’t come closer” he glared
“I’ll wait, I’ll wait till you start liking me Drew….I’m Se-xy and pretty so I can bet it that you’ll later become mine, I’ll make you mine by all what it takes” she said and left hurriedly
” I can never like her even if it means I’m gonna die, she disgusts me” Drew said, squee-zing up his face as he leaned back on the rails, staring downstairs

“I thought I told you to stay away” Drew said when he heard footsteps, thinking it’s Melissa again
“Can’t believe a spoilt br@t is begging a spoilt br@t for a relationsh!p, how funny” she laughed at Drew looked back immediately
“Ugly wacko, what are you doing here” he said, shifting back
” Irritating toad, I finished watching the drama Melissa was performing with you some minutes ago so I decided to come and stage mine” she said and kept moving forward
Drew rested his back on the rails in fear of her , just like when death is coming closer to someone
“Don’t come close” he said fearfully, glancing down the rails, the distance between there and the ground below is so far and he can imagine his head cracking open if this crazy girl pushes her
He looked at her again and surprisingly she’s in front of him alre-ady
“No….stay back” he said quic-kly and BB rolled eyes at him before placing a leg on the hole below the rails, she placed her right hand on the other side, caging him in
“Don’t do it” he said fearfully with wi-de-ned eyes, too scared right now
“When am I receiving my letter…. Should I upload it right now?, Are you belittling me?, Huh!” She said , glaring dangerously at him…she looked at the far ground and smiled before looking at him
” No, I’ll write you a letter tommorow I promise, unfailingly tommorow” he replied hastily
” If you decide not to come to school tommorow, I’ll personally come to your house and hit you till you vomit you D throu-gh your mouth” she said
” I’ll surely come, just let me go plea-se… don’t push me and don’t upload the video….I’m begging” he said quic-kly
BB smiled dangerously and pretended like she wants to push him, he closed his eyes, expecting the worse but she didn’t,,
BB looked at his closed eyes and smiled satisfactorily before leaving him, he bent in front of the rails and held his pounding che-st ti-ghtly,,
“My letter… tommorow before any clas-s, I want it ok?” She said
” Ok….” He replied, breathing heavily
She bent beside him and raised his head up by his chin
“Calm down, not like I’ll eat you, I hate pork seriously so you’re safe” she win-ked and pat his back before standing
” See ya tomorrow!” She said and went downstairs
” Is she from the pit of hell or something?, Huh?, Gosh I almost lost my heart cos of fear…. and I promised to write her a letter tommorow?, With my hands?, Oh no” he thought, blocking his face with his palms frustratingly

Nikita brou-ght Austen’s second coffee for today and placed it in front of him, he just c@mÂŁ back from a conference so he looks very tired
He took a long sip from the cold coffee before dropping the cu-p to look at her
She really learns fast, she knows everything about the office alre-ady cos he took time to tell her everything before leaving for the conference,,
“What were you doing when I wasn’t here?” He asked
“Nothing, I just sle-pt for a while” she replied simply
” I’m sorry it must have been so boring….by the way I made something for you to always get yourself occu-pied with, you can use one of the l@pt©ps to pl@ygames, there are games for the blind online., I downloaded them, I’ll teach you how to pla-y” he said and she smiled
” Really?, I can’t wait” she said and he stood, he took two steps to her and hvgged her warmly, taking her by surprise again
” I’m sorry but I just hate hiding how I feel, I missed you while in the conference” he said
” Why?” She asked, smiling slowly as he broke the hvg
“I just missed you greatly, and can I hvg you like this anytime?, It kind of gives me comfort, plea-se don’t take it as I’m taking you for granted I’m….
“I un-derstand you” she interrupted and he smiled
” Thanks for un-derstanding” he said and made to lead her to the l@pt©p but Das c@mÂŁ in
” Dad” he said and when Das saw him holding her hand, he sighed
“d@t!ngduring work now?” He said
“She’s my new employee, my personal coffee brewer” he replied
“Guess you have a lot of money to waste and that’s why I say you’re a killer…. killing this company is your main target right?, Just like you killed Lira” he said
” I’ve heard that a lot of times, I won’t cry today no matter what, I’ve decided that” he replied, holding Nikita ti-ghter
” Come see me in my office before you leave” Das said and left after giving Nikita a final glance
“Your dad?, Chairman Das?” Nikita said
“Yeah”
“Though I don’t see him but he sounds harsh and scary, I guess Lira was your mum’s name” she said pitifully
” Yeah” he replied
” It must have been so ha-rd , he addressed you as a killer” she said
” I’m used to it, don’t worry I’m fine” he said
” But you know you aren’t a killer right?, It’s not your fault” she said
” I just hope he’ll un-derstand someday” he replied and she took his second hand
” You’re a good person, plea-se be happy, if hvgging me makes you happy, you can do it anytime you feel like, I’ll allow you….I really want you to be happy Mr Austen” she said
” Thanks cutie” he smiled
” Are you smiling right now?* She asked
” Sure” he replied and she smiled
He took her to the l@pt©p and made her sit on the chair while he stood beside her
“Just tap the screen twice just like your phone, it’ll come on, no pas-sword so it’ll be easy, tap this p@rt and it’ll bring out the list of games, pick anyone and start pla-ying” he said, teaching her with zeal
” I really wish to know how to pl@yevery game on it, maybe when you’re done with your work” she said
” I’m done, so let’s get started” he said and he took her hand, teaching her the direction of each bu-tton, the system itself will say when the time is over and will tell her every of her right and wrong moves so it’s quite easy
An hour later**
“Can’t believe this” Austen said, looking at the l@pt©p with surprise as Nikita pla-yed the simplest game on it,,
She’s slow but maybe with time she’ll get used to it
“Am I getting it?* She asked
” Sure…. You’re so smart” he replied, stro-king her hair as she pla-yed, smiling brightly as he watched the screen
He suddenly shifted his attention to her, staring at her perfection with a wi-de smile on hisl-ips, she’s smiling as she pla-yed and that smile is ma-king him wanna smile more
Her hands are so tender and soft so much that she wants to hold it more longer, her hair is silky too, always tied in a bun with her beautiful full edges, ma-king him wanna t©uçh it every time
Now that he has her here, he has promised himself that he’d rather die than have a scratch appear on her gorgeous b©dy, she’s his happiness, his reason to smile and more
He st©pped staring and looked at the l@pt©p, she lost the first round so she’s on the second round
“You must be hungry, I’ll order Mac and cheese for you” he said, standing straight to go make the call
He had ba-rely taken two steps when he heard his name,,
“Mr Austen?” Nikita called and he looked back at her, she’s standing alre-ady
“Yes?” He replied and she traced his voice to him…..
Surprisingly, she hvgged him, knotting her hands behind him…
“Thank you Mr Austen, you’re the best man I’ve ever met, thanks for always wanting to make me happy” she said sincerely and that made Austen smile wi-de
