Kristen rushed to Clef, and bent down. She stretched her hand down, towards Lia.
“Come on…. Your other hand! What are you waiting for!” Kristen said.
Lia gulped and took her other arm up. Kristen was very quick in holding it and at once, she and Clef pulled her back up.
But when they did, Something fell from Lia’s pocket and they all looked down.
“What was that?” Kristen asked.
Lia blinked and tou-ched her pockets.
“I hope it not your pistol” Clef muttered.
Lia sighed in relief.
“It’s not… It’s just my phone”
“What? Your phone!” Kristen yelped, and looked down.
“Why? Do you nee-d it?” Lia arched her brows.
“Of course. We might nee-d to connect with emergency lines,,, just in case” Kristen said.
“And no one asked you to forget yours” Lia eyed her.
“Oh…So, that’s the thank you I get for saving your life” Kristen frowned.
“You never saved my life. Clef did” Lia hissed. She looked at Clef and smiled at him.
“Thanks Clef” Lia said, and tapped his che-st, twice.
“You’re welcome” Clef returned the smile.
Kristen scoffed, and held the rope, She pulled it up and fell it down to the other side.
“Lia… We are going down now” Kristen said.
“You didn’t have to say it. I know” Lia said.
“I’m sort of reminding you… You are afraid of heights so you don’t have to worry. We aren’t going high… instead we are going down. Just in case you forgot” Kristen winked, and held the rope, moving down fast.
Lia scoffed.
“Is she being sarcastic right now? That annoying human!” She blurted and then heard Kristen laughter.
“Aiish! So annoying!!”

Jake inhaled dee-ply as he watched the zombies walk towards him, from his back and even his front. He looked around and his eyes caught the gl@$$ window on his right hand.
“I have no choice” He muttered, and jumped. He bumped his shoulder on the gl@$$ and it broke, releasing to him to the air.
However, he quickly held onto a window railing. He looked around the wall and saw various windows.
His heart banged ha-rd when he saw zombies poking their heads out of some windows, stretching their arms like they wanted to seize him
He looked down, below his legs and gasped. He was high above. The ground was far away.
“If I fall from here,,, I would probably die before my eyes would see the sky” He said, and looked at the window railing he was holding onto.
The window above it suddenly opened and out of surprise, he wide-ned his eyes. He stretched his height a bit and looked to see Mabel and Nora inside the room.
Mabel was close to him while Nora stood by the door,holding onto it ti-ght, sweating profusely.

Lilian screamed for help in tears yet nothing was happening. No one was coming.
“Girlsss!!” They heard a familiar voice.
They looked in front and so did the zombies. They wanted to know where the noise was coming from.
“Take cover and run beside me!” They heard Miss Hannah.
“Miss Hannah!!” Lilian cried out.
Miss Hannah was holding a fire extinguisher. She yelled aloud and switched it on.
The white gas released, and everywhere became hazy.
The zombies couldn’t see well and they started disorganizing, falling on each other and on the floor too.
Tessa held Lilian and made her way to Miss Hannah who was still spraying the gas on the zombies who were crawling, falling, growling lowly now.
They stayed beside Miss Hannah, and they all moved slowly.
“Open the door behind you and make sure you enter at once… Shut it fast too! You hear me?” She said.
Tessa nodded, using her left palm to cover her forehead, trying to block the gas from entering her eyes.
“Open it….Now!!!”
Tessa quickly held the knob and turned it. She entered with Lia and Miss Hannah was fast enough to jump in.
Miss Hannah closed it at once and locked it. She inhaled dee-ply and kept the fire extinguisher down.
The zombies were hitting and kicking the door aggressively and effortlessly.
She turned back to Tessa and Lilian and smiled.
“My babies. Thank goodness you’re okay” She almost cried, hu-gging them ti-ght.
She broke the hu-g and smiled again. Her face was pale and her li-ps were white and cracky.
“Tessa!!!” She heard her name. It was sure, very very familiar.
Tessa quickly turned over. She saw Doris looking at her, with teary eyes.
“How…did you get-
“I’m glad you are okay! You don’t know what I could have done to myself if I lost you” Tessa said, and squee-zed her into her arms ti-ght.
Doris chuckled.
“By the way, how did you get in here?… I thought you went on a date,, or was it a picnic, outing, day out?? I don’t know,,, with Jake”
Tessa sighed dee-ply and held her hand.
“I’ll explain later”
Doris nodded.
“Huh! My bag! How did you get it? I thought I left it in cl@$$”
Tessa smiled, and gave it back to her.
“Don’t lose it this time”
“I won’t” Doris smiled back.
Tessa looked in front and saw few others. Connor was among. He ran towards her.
“Tessa,, How-
“I’ll explain later” Tessa quickly said.
“Jake,,, what of Jake?” Connor asked.
Tessa folded her li-ps, trying to fight in her tears. She looked down and inhaled dee-ply.
“I lost him but I’m sure he’ll be fine” She said.
Vera, Karl, Laura and Lucas came out afterwards. Two others came out also.
“They were the ones I managed to rescue… Come on, Let’s seat and think of what’s happening and how we can solve it. Also, Vera, Connor and Karl said they have something to tell us so let’s have a seat and hear it” Miss Hannah said.
Everyone slowly went to a stool and sat down. They were in a practical cl@$$.
Lilian was about sitting close to Tessa and Doris but Vera quickly took the stool and chased her away with a glare.
Vera then took the stool instead and sat down.
“Tessa?” Vera called, in a whisper.
Tessa who was talking to Doris, and smiling turned to Vera and muttered a hmm.
She looked dee-ply into Vera’s eyes and saw sadness in there. It was teary too.
“Mabel? Did… you see her? Nora too?” She asked, calmly.
Tessa shook her head slowly.
“I’m sorry but I didn’t. However, I’m sure they will be safe. We will see them soon, so,, don’t worry” She said.
Vera looked down sadly and her eyes, released down tears.
“But I’m scared. I’m really scared, what if something happens to them?”
“Vera. Everything will be fine. Mabel and Nora will be safe. They are strong” Lucas said, softly.
Vera cried loudly.
“I do hope so. I can’t lose them. I just can’t…”
Miss Hannah sighed and walked to her. She stro-ked her hair, and held her close to her che-st.
“They will be fine. I know so” She said.
Vera didn’t stop crying.
Connor looked at Tessa and saw her eyes was down. She quickly wiped a tear that ran down her eyes.
“Please, be safe,, Jake” She prayed.

“So, before,, Connor tells us what he wants to say and before Tessa care to explain the cause of this things as she said earlier which is quite confusing of course. Anyways, before,, we hear from them,,, Let’s all introduce ourselves,,, should we?” Miss Hannah smiled.
“Now, Starting from me. I’m Hannah Smith and I love my kids… Don’t mind me for that statement. That sort of my motto” She chuckled.
However, Nobo-dy was laughing with her. Their faces were all stern and serious.
“Huh… Let’s start from Karl?” Miss Hannah raised her brows.

“You okay?” Mabel asked, as she helped Jake in coming in, throu-ghthe window.
“Yes. thank you” He replied, dusting himself.
“Stay back!!!” Nora suddenly screamed, insanely.
She was still holding onto the door, since the lock wasn’t good anymore. Few zombies were hitting the door trying to enter.
Nora was sweating so much that even her long hair, seemed we-t now.
“Nora? It’s me-
“Don’t Nora me! And stay back! What if you were infected!” She shouted.
“Geez! I wasn’t” Jake said.
“You weren’t bitten? scratched?” She asked, with her heart beating fast.
Jake shook his head.
“Close the windows before anyone enters!!” Nora screamed.
“Geez! Nora! Why are you overreacting?” Mabel rolled her eyes, and closed the window.
“Overreacting? Hello? I’m trying to save our lives here!” Nora said.
“Or maybe you don’t remember I also saved you life back then at the cl@$$” Mabel said.
“Fu-ck! So, My little heroine, It’s my fault, huh!!” Nora yelled.
“And I never said it was!” Mabel half yelled.
“Girls… Calm down” Jake sighed.
“Jake… don’t come any closer” Nora bo-dy trembled, as her eyes scanned him.
“Huh?” He whispered.
“Look… Your shoulder… You…you were bitten” Nora stammered.
Mabel slowly looked and so did, Jake.
