*SOMEWHERE IN THE STREET*

Faith sat beside Lucy on a bench as she sings to a little crowd. When she was done, the people drops money in a small bowl they set before them and begin to despatch.
“we made a lot of money” Lucy said arranging the notes
“Am starving alre-ady” Faith said tou-ching her grumbling stomach
“Let’s go to the market” Lucy said and they got up
They walked to a nearby market and started shopping for food stuffs. While they were in the fruit stand, Storm sneak up from behind and steals their purse and ran off.
“Oh my money” Faith cried out pointing at Storm who was on the run
“Someone help there’s a thief” Lucy cried out
“I hate thieves” Dawn who was at the ice cream stand said and chased after Storm.
She caught up with her and snatched the purse from Storm. Storm tries attacking her but Dawn hurl her over her shoulder and dumps her in a trash can.
“Now that’s where thieves belongs” Dawn said dusting invisible dust from her dress then walked back to Faith
“Here’s your purse ma’am”
“Thank you my child” Faith said accepting the purse then Dawn bowed and left
“She’s our savior” Lucy said when Dawn left
“I owe her a lot”
Dawn finished up with her ice cream and decided to take a walk round town. She strolled around and st©pped at a waterfall. She got attra-cted to the sight and started walking inside till she sighted Tyson and Jennifer sitting on a rock.
“Regan!” She waved and ran to them
“Dawn!” Regan called back in shock
“Who’s she?” Jennifer and Dawn asked at a time
Dawn smiled “Am Dawn and Regan is my celebrity crush and future b©yfri£nd” she introduced
Tyson started coughing but tried ha-rd to shut out his mind from any thoughts. He’s not permitted to think when Dawn is around.
“Wow” Jennifer mouthed staring at Tyson
“Dawn there are times when you don’t have to be crazy” Regan scolded
“Am not crazy”
He inhaled “Jennifer this is Dawn a crazy fellow I don’t know” he began “And Dawn, meet Jennifer another crazy fellow I know”
“You’re tossed” Jennifer whispered to him and he chuckled
“Regan you didn’t visit again” Dawn accused then sat beside him on the right while Jennifer sat at his left
“I didn’t see you in my dream again”
“I tried coming but you were thinking of someone else and…” Regan covered her mouth with his palm
“There are times you don’t have to be crazy” he stated “Like now”
She rolled her eyes and re-moved his palm “You don’t have to treat me like a kid”
“I’ll be at the other side” Jennifer announced and got up. She felt left out
“Why?” Tyson asked
“I want to be left alone” she replied and walked out
“She’s jealous” Dawn whispered to Tyson
“You have to quit your mind re-ading it’s gossips” Tyson scolded
“Am not a vampire nor werewolf I don’t re-ad minds okay I only study your expression”
“It’s so crazy st©p it”
“I’ll try”
Jennifer went far from them and sat on another rock. She just couldn’t help been ignored, she was used to Tyson’s attention.
She watched them as they talked and laughed, throwing pebbles into the water and having a pl@yfight.
She tried to ignore them but couldn’t. She didn’t believe she was jealous.
“Someone isn’t happy today” she heard someone say then turned to see Lucas smiling at her
“Lucas”
“Hi Jenny” he sat beside her and took and palm in his “You don’t look cheerful”
“Am fine”
“Sure?”
she nodded
“Why are you here and he’s there?” he pointed at Tyson and Dawn
“I c@m£ alone” she lied
“Who’s she?”
“her name is Dawn I don’t really know her”
Lucas studied Tyson and Dawn for a while then said “Let’s go say ‘hi’ ”
“No” Jennifer tried protesting but he hurled her to her feet
“I don’t like seeing you sad” he said and dragged her to Tyson and Dawn with their hands entwined
“Hi Regan” Lucas called and Tyson turned to look at them
His eyes moved from Lucas’ face that held a hvge grin down to their entwined hands.
“Hi Lucas” he acted normal
“Mind introducing me to your her?” Lucas win-ked at Dawn
“oh! Am Dawn, Regan’s…”
Tyson covered her mouth “She’s Dawn”
“Why won’t you let her speak?”
“I really don’t like her wasting her saliva” Tyson replied then gave Jennifer a look that said let-go-of-his-hand but instead, she ti-ght£ñed her grip.
“Lucas shouldn’t you be at the station?” Tyson asked Lucas trying to make him let go of Jennifer’s hand
“Am free today”
“Then it’s high time we left” Tyson announced getting up
“Why?” Dawn asked
“Cause Jennifer is tired and sleepy” he replied and proceeded to take Jennifer’s hand from Lucas but Lucas held her ti-ght
“I’ll take her home”
“No I c@m£ with her” Tyson said
“Let them be Regan we’ll just leave together” Dawn said
“Are you tired Jenny?” Lucas asked Jennifer
“Jenny?” that was Tyson
“Nope” Jennifer replied
“Are you sleepy?”
“Nope”
“Let her be Regan she’s not a kid”
“let’s go Reg” Dawn said
“Reg?”
“Let’s go Reg” Dawn pu-ll-ed on Regan
“Reg?” Jennifer knitted her brows
“Have fun” Tyson scowled at Jennifer and Lucas then walked out when Dawn

*CYRUS*
The boys as-sembled all the weapons we saved from the blast at the warehouse. We lost almost everything including cash in the explosion and the painful p@rt was that TY wasn’t caught. The only corpse found their were my men.
“I hate my life” Storm cussed walking in. She looked like a bag of garbage
“What happened to you?” I asked
“Some little girl threw me into a trash can” she said and Tattoo chuckled
“Tattoo!” I snarled
“Sorry boss”
“How did she manage to do this to you? You didn’t fight back?”
“I tried but she was too fast i just found myself in the trash can”
“Do you recognize her?”
“yes” Storm replied then added “It’s all TY’s fault, if only he had not showed up unexpectedly that bomb wouldn’t had destroyed everything we have”
“We’ll definitely get Ty it’s a good thing we know what the girl looks like we’ll get her again”
“And with the scar I gave her it would be easier to find her” Storm sm-irked
“Go wash up” I said then she frowned and walked out
“Tattoo!” I called
“Boss”
“Find the girl”
“Boss” Babylon hailed entering the room
“What news do you bring?”
“I found the girl but she doesn’t have a scar like we thought” Babylon said
“Where’s she?”
“She’s with Lieutenant Lucas”
I got shocked “Lucas? What could she be doing with him while she’s related to TY?”
“I have no idea” Babylon replied
“Interesting” I nodded with a grin “Lucas will help us find him”
“How?”
“Go get the girl”
“We can’t kidnap her from the detective”
“Track them and find out where she lives then I’ll pay Lucas a visit” I sm-irked
*TYSON*
It’s 9:16pm alre-ady and it’s getting really late but Jennifer isn’t back yet. Am damn worried and am getting the feeling something is about to happen.
Something feels wrong somewhere.
A knock c@m£ on the door and I hurriedly opened to door and ushered Jennifer in.
“Are you crazy?” I scolded “what could you be doing with a guy outside till this time?”
“Don’t yell at me Lucas isn’t a per-vert and besides I live with you”
I inhaled and glanced out the window
“Someone followed you here”
“What?”
“You were tracked” I blurted out and dragged her to the boudoir “Stay here and don’t you dare come out”
“What’s happening?” she asked fearfully
“Someone is following you” I replied and ran out to avoid more questions from her.
I pu-ll-ed out my gun and climbe-d up the chandelier in the sitting room. The front door creaked open and two armed men walked in.
Not wanting to kill someone in my ap@rtment, I crept down and knocked down one of the guys with the bo-ttomof my gun.
The other tried attacking me but I surrendered him with my gun.
“Who s£nt you here?” I asked
“Re… Regan” he stutterd
“Who s£nt you to kill me?”
He blinked in confusion
I knew he wasn’t expecting to see Regan but TY, that was why I didn’t wear my mask.
“I think there’s a mistake here” he said
“I’ll call 911” I threatened and brou-ght out my phone
“plea-se don’t it was Cyrus”
I sm-irked “You’re doomed” I knocked him out and called the h0tel security who c@m£ and carried the men then handed them to the police.
“You can come out now” I told Jennifer as I opened the door
“What just happened?”
“You lead robbers to my ap@rtment”
“Am sorry”
I huffed and walked to my chamber while she followed behind
“Am really sorry”
“I don’t care go to Lucas”
“Is this about Lucas?” She scoffed “You were with Dawn, your future girlfriend”
“Were you jealous?” I turned to look at her
“I can’t be when I had my Lucas” she said and I angrily hit the wall behind her just above her head
“Regan” She stutterd in fear
“Call him your Lucas again” I dared placing my other hand on the other p@rt of the wall. Tra-pping her in between my hands
“Reg…”
“Say that again” I dared again lowering my face to her’s
“I was with Lucas” she blurted out and I scoffed
“You’re so lucky” I said and walked out
What’s wrong with me?
I got to my chamber and placed a call to James
“Hi Tyson”
“James”
“How’s Jennifer?”
I scoffed “She’s crazy”
he chuckled “And she’s ma-king you go crazy”
“Perhaps”
“What’s new?”
“I was attacked”
“What? By who?”
“Cyrus I think he wants Jennifer he’s trying to set me up with her”
“This is bad”
“so bad” I agreed
“Joanna has been acting strange since yesterday she left this morning and hasn’t returned till now”
“Have you tried calling her?”
“Yes but she isn’t answering Alex is so worried”
“Am coming over”
“Come with Jennifer”
“You’re crazy” I chuckled and hung up

I sat across Cyrus in a dim lit room. I’ve been tracing him since I left the mansion in the morning. I c@m£ to make a deal with him and in return he has to kill Jennifer.
