Valerie woke with a splitting headache and a sharp pain on her n£¢k, she quic-kly sat up on the be-d as she used her hand to t©uçh the mark on her n£¢k, she winced in pain at the slight t©uçh, but it was nothing compared to the joy she was feeling at the moment, she remembers all that took place last night, and she couldn’t be more proud of herself as she gave a victorious smile.
“hello love, you’re up alre-ady”. Damien said as he walked into the room holding a tray containing her breakfast, he sat beside her with the tray on his l@ps.
“I’m gonna feed this to you now, i made it specially for you”. he smiled.
“oh really, that’s lovely”. She smiled.
Damien picked up the spoon as he began to feed her the h0t chicken soup he prepared, Valerie could do nothing but watch him as he fed her, she actually fell in love with Damien the first time she saw him, and right then, she had vowed to make him hers, yes, she had turned him into a lycanthrope, but not just that, she had also cast a spell on him, ma-king him see her as his mate, and now, he was also un-der her control and he’s also forgotten about the other woman.
When she had mixed their blood and was chanting the spell, she not only turned him into a lycan, but also her mate 😈😈, and now, he belongs to her, only her.
“how was it love”. he said the moment he was done feeding her.
Valerie gave him a beautiful smile before raising both her thumbs up.
“it was amazing, I love it, thanks”. She said and damien couldn’t help but feel proud.
“err, damien”. she called sweetly.

“how are you feeling, do you remember anything from before”. She asked, toying with her f!ngers.

“perfect, the first and second p@rt of the plan has been completed, and now, it’s time for plan c”. she sm-irked.

Clara paced round her living room, she seem to be in de-ep thought, she nee-ds to come up with a plan to get the luna out of there, but it wouldn’t be easy at all, where would she even start from.
“Clara”. Margret (Damien’s mom), called, snapping her out of her thoughts.
“huh, oh, I’m so sorry ma’am”. She said, tucking a loosed strand of her hair behind her ear..
“what’s wring child, you don’t look alright”. she said with a worried look on her face.
“well, I’ve been thinking of a way to get the Luna out of there, I don’t know what to do, I also have no idea if they’ll let me see her”. she replied sadly.
“I un-derstand child, I’m also not happy she’s in there, but you should try to go and see her now”.
“I don’t know, I have no idea if they’ll allow me to do that”.
“well, I think you should give it a trial first, hmm”. Margret said with a sad smile.
“ok, I’ll do that right now”. She replied as she made to leave the house, when they both heard a loud howl.
”what’s that”. Margret asked.
“a howl, it means the alpha is calling for a meeting”. she replied as she stared at Margret with a worried and scared look.
“what if it’s about the luna”. She muttered as she dashed out of the house in a flash, heading to the place they always have their gathering.
on getting there, she saw that the whole pack was there alre-ady, she then pushed her way throu-gh the crowd, so she could stand in front.
they waited for a while before they saw the alpha coming, but he wasn’t alone, there was an unknown woman beside him.
you could tell something was different, the air carried an unknown difference, something’s changed about him, and the lady he was with, her aura was dark.
Clara felt a cold shiver run down her spine merely looking at the lady.

the alpha got to where they were, and they all bowed their heads in respect.
“I’ve ordered for this gathering for a reason”. He said, his voice booming with authority.
“two things I want to say”.
“first, y’all should get prepared, we’ll be going for a war soon”. he said and the whole pack began to mumble.

“silence”. He boomed, and immediately, the whole pack fell silent.
“no one is allowed to speak until I’m done”. He commanded.
“yes alpha”. They all replied with a bow.
“we’ll be battling with the red moon pack”. He said, and everyone eyes wi-den with shock, no one could believe what they were hearing.
everyone knows the red moon pack and their ruthless alpha, no one dares to challenge them, it’ll be a lost battle, no doubt about that.
“warriors, get prepared and wolves who are 18 would be fighting, women who are strong, must fight”.
“and now, the good news”. he smiled as he took Valerie’s hand, raising it up high.
“I pres£nt to you, your Luna and my mate, Valerie”. he said in a loud voice as he brou-ght down her hand, k!ss!ngthe back of it.
“what! “. Clara yelled.

“alpha, you alre-ady have a mate, we have a Luna, why mark another”. a man from the crowd said.
damien eyes turned a pure black as he ran with a flash, gr-abbing the man by the n£¢k.
“how dare you, there’s no other Luna ap@rt from the one you just saw”. he said as he brou-ght out his claws, he wasted no time in ripping the man’s heart out of his che-st, he then threw his heart to the floor, re-leasing the man who slumped dead on the floor, the whole pack g@sp in shock at what they just witnessed.
“anyone else who wants to question me”. He yelled in anger.
“anyone who dares to say nons-en-se would face a horrible death, there’s no other Luna ap@rt from the one you’re seeing right now, is that taken”. he said in a loud voice, and the pack shook with fear.
“yes alpha”.
“now, I expect y’all to bow to your queen and show some respect”. he commanded.
the whole pack immediately bowed their heads.
“Luna”.
“long live the queen”.
“long live the luna”. They chanted.
Clara couldn’t do this, she had her head bowed, but she refuse to acknowledge this woman as her Luna, and so, she only kept silent.
Valerie eyes roamed round the crowd, her head raised high in pride with a victorious smile on her face.

after the gathering, Damien left to plan the attack with his beta and gamma as well as the visit, leaving Valerie all alone.
“well now, i nee-d to finish what I started”. She said with an evil smile.
“why don’t i take a visit to the ex luna”. She giggled before disappearing and reappearing right in front of the place Linda is being kept.
the guard yelped in fear as he saw her, she really got him startled.
“you fool, what’s wrong with you”. she snapped.
“I’m so sorry luna”. He bowed, while Valerie scoffed.
“open the gate, I want to see the prisoner”. She commanded.
“err, of course luna”. The guard said as he quic-kly carried out her order.
Valerie smiled before stepping in.
Linda la-id numb on the floor , she was broken and she kinda looks dead, a plate of food was kept on the floor for her, and she hasn’t even t©uçhed it.
“hello”. Valerie said as she kicked her on the stomach, linda’s eyes snapped open as she clutched unto her stomach in pain.
“who are you”. She whispered, raising her head up to stare at Valerie.
“awwn, look at you, you poor thing”. She said, crouching down to ca-ress linda’s pale cheek.
“i bet you must be in great pain right now, after all, your mate marked another”. She laughed.
Linda took in a de-ep breath as she struggled to sit up.
“who are you”. She questioned In a very hoarse voice.
“you’re so foolish and naive, so you haven’t guessed the memo”. She giggled.
“well here, check this out”. She said as she bent her head a little, giving Linda a good view of her mark.
“see, that’s Damien’s mark on my n£¢k”. She sm-irked.
Linda heard Megan howl in pain, she felt like she’s been stabbe-d in the heart.
“no, no”. She yelled.
“who do you think you are”. She said in tears.

“and you know what, it’s too sad , Damien doesn’t even remember you, he’s forgotten about you, and guess what, I made it so”. She sm-irked.
“what have you done to damien”. Linda cried out as she glared at Valerie with pure hatred and rage, she would have loved to kill this witch, but she’s too weak, and Megan has been mute ever since damien marked this witch, she’s still there, but she’s weak.
“oh nothing, i only made him stronger, a better version of himself, and also”.
“i made him mine”. she said.
Linda tried to gr-ab her n£¢k, but Valerie was fast In getting a hold of her hand, she ti-ght£ñed her grip, causing Linda to wince In pain.
“look at you, you’re so weak”. She mocked.
”you’re no match for me darling”. She laughed.
“anyways, I don’t want to waste my time with you, I only c@m£ here for one thing “.
“to kill your wolf”. She whispered .
linda’s eyes wi-den with shock as she heard this.
“what are you saying, don’t you dare hurt Megan you witch”. she yelled as she tried pu-lling her hand away from Valerie’s grip.
“wow, Megan, such a lovely name, but too sad, she’s gonna leave”. she said as she f0rç£fully gr@bb£d linda’s head with both hands, she shut her eyes as she muttered a spell, Linda screamed in pain as she struggled to break free of her hold.
“Linda”. Megan whispered as she slowly began to fade away.
“linda”. c@m£ Megan’s fading voice.
“no……”. Linda screamed.
Valerie finally let go of linda’s head and she slumped down the floor in tears.
“and one more thing”.
“i was the one who revealed your betrayal to Damien, I’m the reason you’re being kept here”. She giggled happily.
“oh look, even your mark is gone”.
“oops, bye bye”. She said as she disappeared.
“no no no, Megan”. Linda muttered in tears.
the connection was broken, she couldn’t feel Megan’s pres£nce anymore, she’s gone, she’s lost her wolf, how will she survive without Megan, she can’t live without Megan, she’s now but a ordinary human.
“Megan”. She whispered as her eyes finally gave in to whatever took over her.
