Damien was out in the woods, he was in his wolf form, and as usual, he had gone for his morning run.
He stĀ©pped at a hvge tree, going behind it, he transformed back, gr-abbing his bo-xers, he pu-ll-ed them on immediately.
Ever since the disappearance of his mother, he hasn’t been himself, he has searched every pack house, he’s killed many wolves whom he sees as suspects, but still, he hasn’t been able to find her, or the one who re-leased her, he felt a strong b!ow of the wind, and he immediately knew who it was.
“valerie”. he growled as he turned to face her, there she stood with a sm-irk, dressed in a black mini go-wn, she was also putting on a red cloak.
“humph, you can alre-ady tell it was me”. she scoffed loudly.
“of course, you always seem to come and go with the wind, so, I knew it was you”. he shrugged.
“whatever”. she scoffed.
“the plan’s changed, something terrible has happened”. she said with a frown.
“well, I don’t think anything could be as bad as what’s happened to me”. he growled.
“what’s it”.
“never mind”. he replied as he turned to leave.
“well, I think you should tell me, I can be of great help to you, you know that”. she said, and immediately, he stĀ©pped dead in his tracks as he turned to stare at her.
“are you really sure about that”.
“what do you take me for damien, I’m a powerful sorceress, and is there anything I can’t do”. she boasted.
“hmm”. he sighed.
“well, I’ve been looking for a woman for a while now, well, actually, it’s my mother, someone’s helped her escape from the place I’ve kept her locked in for so many years”. he growled in anger.
“locked in? “. Valerie said as she furrowed her eyebrows.
“that’s a story for another time, do you think you can help”.
“well yes, first, you’ll have to take me to the place you kept her locked in”. she replied with an eye roll.
“err…. OK, let’s go then”.
“seems you’re forgetting something damien”. she sm-irked.
“I don’t fancy walking a lot”. she said as she appeared before him, taking hold of his arm, she teleported them to the place he talked about.
well, don’t be surprised, but she could alre-ady tell where it was *silly sneaky witch*.
“you know, I would really appreciate it if you could actually stĀ©p doing that”. he said and she turned to give him the *are you kidding me look*.
“whatever”. she said as she closed her eyes, using her powers, she saw all that’s happened before, she stayed like this for a while till she finally saw everything regarding his mother’s escape, she not only saw the escape, she also saw who helped her.
she finally opened her eyes as she turned to look at him.
“I’ve got some really bad news for you, you’ll be shocked by this, and you’re not gonna like this”.
“what do you mean”.
“I’ve seen the terrible things you did to your mother, and not just that”.
“I also know who helped her escape from here”. she sm-irked.
“well what are you waiting for, spill it out alre-ady”. he replied impatiently.
“hmm, I’m not gonna be telling you myself, you might actually think I’m lying, so, I’ll be showing it to you, you should see the truth for yourself”.she smiled.
“do you mind”. she said as she opened both her palms, and quic-kly, Damien wasted no time in putting both of his palms in hers.
they both shut their eyes as Valerie connected him to her, she showed him all what she’s seen.
damien g@sp in shock as he snatched his hands away from hers.
“no no no, this can’t be possible”. he muttered.
“well, it’s possible, see the reason i decided to show it to you”. she shrugged.
“how dare she, how dare linda betray me like this”. he growled as his blood boil with pure rage, he was furious.
“all these while, I’ve been killing innocent wolves, not knowing the real culprit is right un-der my nose”.
“no, she’s crossed all limits this time, I’m not going to spare her for this”. he growled as he ran with a flash, he was heading home.
Valerie let out a laugh as she watched him leave.
“well well well,the heavens have unknowingly favoured me today”. she smiled.
“seeing this happening is alre-ady giving me a new plan”.
“just wait and see damien, watch how I’m going to enjoy what’s going to happen”.
“you wait and see what’s coming your way”. She said as she gave an evil laugh.
“afterall”.

Damien barged into the house, and linda quic-kly stood up to welcome him, but the look on his face made her stĀ©p dead in her track.
“what’s wrong damien, why do you have that angry look on your face”. she questioned worriedly.
damien glared at her in anger, he felt like snapping her nĀ£Ā¢k right now, forgetting the fact that she was his mate, he felt really angry and wasn’t in his right state of mind right now.
“do you have anything you would like to confess to me linda”. he growled.
Linda stared at him in surprise, she knows something must be really wrong, he’s never called her by her name.
“b babe, what do you mean, what are you saying”. she Stuttered.
“you know, never for once did it occur to me that you would dare to betray me or even lie to me, how dare you do this to me”. he yelled and she yelped in fear.
“I wouldn’t spare you for this betrayal linda, I’ll punish you and make sure you pay for this linda”.
“what are you saying, I don’t un-derstand any of this, why are you talking to me like this”. she half yelled.
“what betrayal are you talking about”.
“hmm, look at you, no, just take a look at yourself, here you are, acting all innocent when you know fully well what I’m talking about”. he growled.
“no one should be fooled by your innocent face”.
“damien, plea-se calm down and explain to me what all this is about”. she said as she made to go to him.
“not a single step closer linda, do not take one more step closer or else I would something I’m not going to regret”. he said in a menacing voice and Linda swallowed nothing as she looked at him in fear, never for once has she seen him this angry, and all his anger is directed towards her.
“now, let me refresh your memory as you are claiming to have forgotten about the sin you’ve committed”.
“do you really want to know what you’ve done”. he said.
“answer me linda”. he yelled.
“y yes”. she stuttered.
“well, do you remember the person you’ve helped to escape”. he said and her eyes wi-den with shock.
now she knows what all this is all about, but how is this even possible, how did he find out, clearly, Clara would never tell him, she would never betray her like this, but if it wasn’t Clara, then who did it, how did damien find out the truth.
“I see you now remember, seeing how quiet and nervous you look”.
“well, I’m not gonna ask twice”.
“where, is, she”. he said darkly.
“and don’t you dare think of lying to me linda, you’ve helped her escape, you’re definitely keeping her somewhere”.
“tell me where she is right now”. he yelled.
*oh my, this definitely proves that Clara didn’t tell him, otherwise, he would have known where she’s, but he doesn’t, seeing how he’s asking about her whereabout”. she thought.
*but no, I can never tell him where she is, that should never happen, only God knows what he’ll do if he finds out Clara is helping me in this*
*no, never, I can’t tell him*.
”damn it Linda, don’t test my patience, you better tell me where you’re keeping her right now”.
“no damien, I would never tell you, why are you like this, why do that to your own mother,and remember, you’ve also lied to me, and only the heavens knows how many more secrets you’re keeping from me damien”.
“you said you have no family, and remember the other day, I saw her picture in your office, what did you say when I asked you about her, she’s no one right, you hid her true identity from me all these while, you lied to me damien, what are you damien, tell me, what the hell are you”. she yelled.
“you shut your mouth linda”.
“no, I won’t shut up, not until you tell me what you’re hiding from me, why keep your mother a prisoner all these years, tell me, why would a son do that to his own mother”. she yelled.
damien felt angry at this as he immediately ran with a flash and gr@bbĀ£d her nĀ£Ā¢k.
linda coughed as she felt him chocking her, his hold over her nĀ£Ā¢k was just too strong.
“you have no right to question me when you know nothing”. he replied darkly as he let go of her, linda held onto her nĀ£Ā¢k as she coughed loudly, at the same time g@sping for breath.
“jayden, jacy”. he called to his beta and gamma who have been outside all these while.
they both c@mĀ£ in with their heads bowed.
“yes alpha”.
“take this traitor to the dungeon”. he growled, turning his back at her.
his beta and gamma shared a worried look before replying.
“yes alpha”.
linda eyes wi-den with shock as she stared at his back.
“what do you think you’re doing damien, this is pure madness”. she yelled, but instead got not reply.
his beta and gamma went towards her as they both took hold of each of her arms lightly, they were being gentle, after all, she’s still their Luna.
“you’re not the man I fell in love with, you’re turning into a monster damien, hope you don’t do something you would regret later on, no matter what, she’s still your mother, and nothing, absolutely nothing, can change that fact”. She said as she shook her head sadly, she had no regrets about what she did, the only thing she felt was pity, and that’s for him, she never expected this from him, he’s let her down, he’s broke her trust.
Linda glanced at him one more time before going with them.
damien had his back turned till they left the house.
“well well we’ll, that was quite entertaining to watch”. Valerie cl@pped as she finally revealed herself, she’s been there all these while, watching what was happening.
“awwn, is our poor alpha sad after fighting with his dear mate”. she said, walking towards him.

“don’t tĀ©uƧh me”. Damien growled, pushing her hand away.
“hahaha, well you can say that for now, but very soon, I would make you beg for my tĀ©uƧh”. she whispered and damien sh0t her a glare.
“what, don’t give me that look, I actually c@mĀ£ here for something important before you decided to involve me in your problems”. she scoffed.
“anyways, forget about that, there’s something you must know, the worst has finally happened”.
“and what do you mean by that”.
“there’s something you must know about the alpha of the red moon pack mate”.
“and I’ll tell you everything, and the reason I want her dead”. she said, her voice laced with pure hatred.
“well then, what are you waiting for, start talking”. he said and Valerie rolled her eyes at him.

“oh really, and who do you think is gonna give it to me”. he fired back.
“you know what damien, I’m seriously not in the mood for this “.
“and do you think I’m also in the mood for your nons-en-se, I still don’t know where that woman is being kept”. he growled.
“oh really, you’re still stressing about your mother, you should be thinking of more important things, cause we’re seriously gonna be in real trouble if we don’t plan out attack right now, you should just forget about your mothers whereabout”.
“don’t you dare tell me to forget about her Whereabout, because you know nothing”. he growled in anger.
“so I know nothing huh, well tell me then, why are you hell bent on finding her”.
“because her existence should never be discovered”.
“whatever, i don’t know what you’re talking about, and that’s the least of my problems”.
“but anyways, just like I helped you in finding out who’s responsible for her escape, I can also help in finding out her whereabouts, with or without your mate telling the truth”. She sm-irked.
“tell me where she is then”.
“tch tch tch, no way damien, I’ll tell you where she is later, but first, I nee-d you to give me your full attention, let’s talk about
something more…. Important”.
“so you think this is not important”. he yelled.
“here we go again “.
“you’ll have to cooperate with me damien, or I’ll never help you with this, and believe me, you’ll never find her, no matter how ha-rd you try, and I’m 100% sure your dear mate ain’t gonna say no $h!t about where she is, so if this is so important to you, you should cooperate with me, don’t you think”. she smiled, it was a smile of victory, cause she knows she had him right where she nee-ded him.
damien stood, glaring at her, he knows he has no choice.
”fine, let’s do as you wish”. He replied in surrender.
“very good, now, take a seat”. She replied as they both sat on different cushions.
“well damien, do you remember the question you once asked me about the red moon pack alpha’s mate”.
“well yes, I can remember vividly”.
“good, there’s something about her that you should know, and that’s the reason I want her dead”.
“what’s it about her”. He asked.
“she’s a hybrid”.
“what”. Damien yelled as his jaw dropped in shock.
“how’s that possible, how the fvĀ¢k do you even know that”.
“I’ll tell you ”.
“a long time ago, the alpha king was blessed with a child, a child that was said to be the greatest wolf amongst all, and was blessed with certain abilities, the child was p@rt wolf, p@rt witch”.
“I and my sisters had a plan to steal her powers so we could become stronger, and so, we had gone into battle with the alpha king, we had managed to destroy everyone, including the alpha king and his mate, I had killed them”. She said ,and damien eyes wi-den with shock, he even felt speechless to say anything.
“we killed everyone, and all my sisters also lost their lives in the war, i was the last one of the witches, I took the child and brou-ght her to the human town, entrusting her to a human I had bewitched, she bec@mĀ£ her mother, but I had not only cast a spell on the human, I had also cast a spell on the child, wiping all her memories and suppressing her wolf, I had done this so I could get enough time to find a way to posses her powers”.
“I had also done this so she wouldn’t be able to find her mate, otherwise, my plans on getting her powers would be ruined”.
“too bad, I couldn’t find a way to obtain her powers for myself, and that’s when I had ordered the human to kill her, but unfortunately, it c@mĀ£ too late as her mate alre-ady found her, damn that stupid wolf, he had ruined my plans, he killed the human and took her to his pack, I have no idea how he managed to convince that useless girl”.
“I had felt that the spell I cast had been broken when he mated and marked her, and now, there’s no doubt she knows the truth about herself”.
“those foolish mates”. She spat with disgust.
“oh my goodness Valerie, I can’t believe you did all these “. Damien muttered, causing Valerie to eye him.
“you can shut up Damien, you’ve also done worst things for power ” she fired.
“you shut your tra-p Valerie”. He fired back .
“well damien, instead of sitting here and arguing all day, we had better start planning, cause I’m not stĀ©pping till I destroy those two and their entire pack, and as for your mother whereabouts, be rest as-sured, I’ll help you with that “.
“hmm, do you have a plan”.
“don’t you trust me”. She sm-irked.
“you’re so evil”. Damien complimented with a wicked sm-irk.
