“kiara”. gwen whispered, seeing her wolf.
She had missed kiara so much, her fur sparkled in the sunlight, she was a beauty to behold, her fur was a color mixture of white and gold, and her eyes, oh, they were of the same color, her right eye was gold, while the left was white, she was a rare kind of wolf, not an ordinary wolf, and that’s because she’s been blessed by the moon goddess with some certain abilities which we’ll all find out soon, and yes, she was big, real big.
Gwen ran to where kiara stood, having on a Wolfy grin, she engulfed her wolf in a ti-ght hvg.
“Kiara, oh Kiara, I’ve missed you so much”. she muttered in tears, and as if in reply, Kiara li-cked her cheek lovingly, after all, she was her other half.
Gwen giggled as Kiara continued l!çk!ng her cheek.
“oh sister, i know you’ve missed me too, we’ve been separated for far too long, and don’t worry, we’ll definitely exact our revenge on that witch”. gwen said as she pat Kiara’s head lovingly, Kiara let out a menacing growl at the mention of the witch, clearly, she hated her as much and can’t wait to kill her.
“ok, that’s enough you two, it’s time to go, and I just woke Lancelot”. the moon goddess said with a smile.
“thank you mother”. gwen said, getting up to hvg the moon goddess.
The moon goddess hvgged her for a while, then she pu-ll-ed away, and with a swipe of her right hand, she sÂŁnt gwen back, but not alone, she’s definitely returning with her other half, Kiara.

Lance woke from his sleep, and immediately, he turned to look at Gwen, but the state in which he saw her, left him scared.
“amor”. he called tapping her cheek lightly, she was burning up real bad, and she was drenched in her own sweat.
“amor, plea-se wake up”. lance said, his whole b©dy quivering with fear.
She was burning up real bad and her whole b©dy kept on shaking.
“lance, what’s wrong with mate”. cornor said worriedly..
“i don’t know cornor”.
“well, sÂŁnd for the pack doctor”. Cornor yelled.
“asher, Leo, y’all get here quic-kly, and bring the pack doctor along, something’s wrong with gwen”. he said throu-gh the mind link.

Lance carried her in a bridal style and placed her on his l@p, she was too h0t, and he could actually feel his hands getting h0t too, but no, he’s not letting her go.
“amor, plea-se wake up, don’t do this to me”. he whispered, almost in tears.

“lance, what if it’s her b©dy rejecting the mark”.cornor said worriedly, he was equally as scared as lance.
“I don’t care cornor, i just don’t want anything bad to happen to her, i shouldn’t have marked her”. he muttered as a lone tear sli-pped down his cheek.
the door pushed open, his beta, gamma, alongside their mates and the pack doctor rushed in looking worried and scared.
“alpha, what’s wrong with her”. the pack doctor said as she moved close to Lance, so she can check on gwen.
she was a middle age woman who have been very close to Lance, ever since he was a baby, she wasn’t just the pack doctor, she was also the pack seer, she’s been blessed with the gift by the moon goddess.
“i i i don’t know, i woke up and saw her burning up”. he stuttered.
The pack doctor placed her right palm on gwen’s forehead, shutting her eyes, she stayed this way for a while, suddenly, she g@sp and immediately withdrew her palm.
“alpha, hurry, we nee-d to take her outside, let’s go to the backyard”. she said, and lance stood up immediately, not questioning her reason for that, he wasn’t really himself, so anything he was asked to do, he’ll do it, all he wants was for her to be okay.
they all went to the backyard, and the pack doctor instructed him to place her on the floor.
“alpha, plea-se lie her on the floor”. she instructed and lance did as he was told, he wanted to stay behind her, but he was asked to stay back a bit.
“plea-se alpha, you’ll nee-d to move away from her”.
“no, i won’t do that, look at her, she nee-ds me”. he half yelled.
“alpha plea-se just do as you’re told, she’ll be fine, trust me”. the pack doctor said.
asher walked to him and tried pu-lling him away from her, but he refused.
“plea-se lance, listen to her”. he said, and lance sigh before moving away from her a bit.
the mark on gwen’s nÂŁÂąk began to shine brightly, snapping of bones could be heard, and they all stared at each other in shock before looking at gwen.
gwen screamed in pain as her bones snapped, taking a new form, Lance tried running to her, but he was restrained by asher and leo.
“let go of me”. he growled in anger as he felt cornor trying to surface.
“no, you nee-d to keep calm”. asher yelled as they both struggled to restrain him.
gwen screamed in pain as her bones snapped, fur sprout over her b©dy, her f!ngernails grows into claws, her skin stretched and ti-ght£ñed, her bones continued snapping into places, Kiara was surfacing.
finally, the transformation was complete, her screams turned into low whimpering, she la-id numb for a while before getting up on all fours.
asher and Leo finally let go of lance, as they all had their eyes open wi-de in disbelief, well, not the pack doctor, she had a smile on her face, she’s seen this before, when she had t©uçhed her head, and that’s why she had let out a g@sp.
“what is she”. Asher muttered as they all watched her stand majestically on all fours, her fur was a bright color of white and gold, same as her eyes, they could feel the powerful aura radiating from her, and you could easily tell that she wasn’t just an ordinary wolf, she was one of a kind.
she let out a howl, and slowly, they all dropped to their knees, bowing their heads, her aura was just too powerful, Lance would have bowed too, if he hadn’t been an alpha and a pure blood lycanthrope, but he only stood transfixed, he was in great shock, and he couldn’t do anything but stare de-eply into her eyes.
“luna”. They all said with their heads bowed down.
gwen let out a fierce howl and the while pack howled in response to her call, each and every one of them fell to their knees wherever they are.
one thing was certain.
this was the call of their Luna.

Valerie la-id on the be-d in her Hut slee-ping soundly, suddenly, she sprung off the be-d, her whole b©dy shook with fear.
“no no no”. she whispered.
“no, this can’t be happening”.

Gwen stared at lance for a while before she pas-sed out, she transformed to her human form as lance hurried to meet her.
Asher and Leo stood up, shielding their eyes, while grace went in to get a blanket.
“here alpha”. She said, handing the blanket over to lance.
Covering her with the blanket, he took her upstairs in a flash, then he la-id her on the be-d.
He didn’t want to leave her, but he nee-ds to know what’s happening, how is this even possible, he tucked her in, placed a k!sson her forehead before going back downstairs.

“the gold p@rt signifies her warrior wolf, which is very rare, while the white p@rt signifies her witch, a white witch”. she explained.
“but I don’t un-derstand, how’s this even possible, i was certain she’s a human”. lance said, confusion written all over his face.
“well alpha, the Luna was never born a human, she’s Infact a pure hybrid, right from birth, and not just that, she’s a descendant of the moon goddess”.
“what!”. they all yelled in unison, each one of them had their eyes popped out in shock, and lance was not an exception.
“impossible”. Asher whispered.
“well beta, it’s possible”. she smiled.
“all the same, the rest of the story is left for the Luna to tell, I’m sure she now knows the while truth about herself”.

“I should head back to the clinic now”. She said and they all heard the sound of someone knocking the door.

“alpha, we heard the call of the Luna, where’s she”. someone said from the crowd.

“yes alpha, why didn’t you tell us”. Another said, and like that, the murmuring and questioning increa-sed.
Lance eyes frantically searched the crowd, this seriously can’t be happening.
“silence”. he said in a commanding tone, and immediately, the whole crowd fell silent as they all bowed their heads.
“I should get angry and possibly punish each and every one of you for this”. he said as he heaved a sigh.
“but I wouldn’t”. he said, and the whole crowd stared at each other in shock, this was new, something has definitely happened to their alpha.
“I have my reasons for keeping the fact that I’ve found my mate and your Luna a secret”. he said, as he waited for a while for his word to sink in.

he turned to behold a shocking sight, there stood gwen, she was putting on one of his shi-t, it was an over sized tee shi-t that st©pped right above her knees, but that wasn’t the case, she looked totally different.
her hair color has changed from the beautiful ebony black to a pure and bright color of gold and white, half p@rt was white, and the other, gold, even her eye color was the same, her skin glowed brightly, she truly looked like a goddess.
his eyes met hers,and she welcomed him with a beautiful smile.
“hello mate”. he heard her voice In his head, and he could do nothing but stare at her in awe, well, not just him, every one gave her the same look.
she smiled beautifully before stepping out to address the pack.
“great wolves of the red moon pack, my name’s gwen and as you all know, I’m the soon to be Luna of this pack”. she said in a loud voice and immediately, the whole crowd cheered, clearly, they were all happy she’s going to be their Luna, they could tell she was different.
“plea-se keep calm”. she said with a smile, and they all fell silent once again.
“I’ve said soon to be because as you all know, I’ll officially be the Luna of this pack, when I’m finally crowned the Luna, a day will be fixed for the coronation”. she said, and they all cl@pped their hands, each and everyone had a smile on their faces.
she waited for them to calm down before she continued.
“and as for why the alpha kept the fact that he’s found his mate a secret, I’ll be the one to explain it all to you right now, and not just that, I’ll also say the things which my mother has told me”. she said as she heaved a sigh.
“my mother, the moon goddess Celine”. she said, and the whole pack g@sp in shock as they all start to murmur.
“how is this possible”.
“oh my goodness, she’s the moon goddess daughter”.
“this seems so ha-rd to believe”.
“we’re truly blessed to have her as our Luna”.
these were some of the words they were all saying.
“everyone calm down, plea-se”. she said, I as her eyes glowed brightly, she’s found out the gift her mother has given to her, she now knows, she’s a hybrid, p@rt wolf, p@rt witch, well, it was all thanks to Kiara, and now, she’s using her powers to keep everyone calm.
“yes, I’m the daughter of the moon goddess, and now, plea-se everyone, pay attention to what I have to say”. she said, as she went on to explain everything to the pack, she told them the reason Lance kept it a secret, she told them the story her mother told her, about herself, about the witch, and finally, about the impending war.
and by the time she was done, the whole pack stood silent for a while, everyone lost in their own thoughts, and for the first time, she found herself getting nervous.

“long live the queen”.

gwen turned to look at Lance, and he engulfed her in a hvg.
“I’m so proud of you my queen”. he said and she felt her head swell with pride.
she gave him a quic-k k!ssbefore pu-lling away, Kiara began to surface as a heavy wind blew.
snapping of bones could be heard as she finally let Kiara out, the whole crowd g@sp in awe at the hvge and beautiful sight of her wolf, no doubt, she was their Luna.
Kiara let out a howl, and they all smiled, they un-derstood what she meant, one by one, they all transformed into their wolf, every single one of them, even Asher and the rest, lance was not an exception.
he walked towards his mate as he gave the control to cornor, he transformed into his hvge beast as he let out a fierce roar.
gwen howled once more and the pack followed suit.
together, they all howled in unison.
